A couple of years ago, I ordered Xenical from a web site and also got the Indian generic version. When I rechecked the site, it said clearly that it was a generic version. The packaging stated clearly that the drug in the capsules was Orlistat. If that's what your packaging said, the product was NOT fake. Xenical IS Orlistat. Check a bottle of Alli locally. It, too, is Orlistat (half-strength). The Indian stuff worked exactly as name-brand Xenical does: I've had both. To prove it, (ugh!), just take one and eat a fatty meal. Your stool the next day will be orange and oily... the same as when you eat the same meal with the name-brand version. Disgusting, but it DOES what it says: without that pill, the oily FAT would still be in your system, absorbed into your body.
