Ordered watch on line on evening of Feb 16 - emailed gems4me on feb 18 inquiring ship date - received reply stating watch would ship by end of week - e-mailed gems4me on 2-20 inqiring again about shipping - received replay stating additional delay in shipping - no date to ship given, or reason for delay - e-mailed gems4me asking for a date and a reason, and inquired as to whether I should contact my credit card company - gems4me immediately cancelled the order and became obstinant, stating I had requested cancellation of the order, when in fact, I had not cancelled the order, or requested the order been cancelled. Called gems4me and spoke with Allen 2-23 AM - he insisted I had cancelled the order despite verbiage to the contrary in the e-mail, and refused to reinstate or process the order. I suspect, but am not sure, perhaps they did not have the watch in stock as advertised, and realized they had made an error, but were unwilling to admit it and in my opinion were not very customer oriented in finding a solution to the problem. They have not responded to any complaints registered as of this writing. Attached is the e-mail thread that was conveyed between myself and gems4me prior to my contact with them by phone, having not received a reply to the last e-mail.


I did not cancell the order - what made you think I had? - I am merely looking for a valid reason for a delay in shipping incongruent with your history.
