I got a kitten from Amy Green of Gems of the South Persians www.cfapersiancats.com he got "a fungal infection" on the top of his head. I asked her directly if it was RING WORM. She denied knowing if there was more than one kind of fungal infections like there are bacterial infections. SHE played dumb. Purely she knew it is ring worm. She claims this is the very first time she's ever had it in her house -- out of all of the kittens she has (check out her website to see how many kittens are at risk if not treated), the one I got to buy was "the only one that had it." Imagine that.
After $1850.00 to clean up the ringworm the cat started losing weight, two weeks later when he collapsed, I rushed him to the vet to find out he had feline aids.
Now in total I have $3050.00 wrapped up in the cat ashes that reside on my mantle along with my son who is covered in ringworm.

Do your homework before you buy from her! Be very educated about the "fungal infections" and feline aids which she specializes in then you decide if you want to risk your home, your health and the health of any other animals that you may already have. Could be a very expensive purchase like it was for my family!

DO NOT BE TEMPTED BY THE CUTE KITTEN PICTURES.

I bought my baby from Amy Green last May 2013! She was very helpful, answering my every question by email (even when the questions weren't about my kitten)! She sent me constant pictures and updates on Allie until I picked her up the end of June! Allie is now a healthy and happy almost one year old! I recently emailed her with a question about a product and she responded immediately! Upon picking up my baby, she was very friendly, her house was immaculate (no cat smells with that many cats/kittens) and she was very professional! Don't know where these few negative posts are coming from. Would definitely recommend Amy's kittens to a friend! Thanks Amy for Allie, she is awesome!

I had horrible experience with Amy Green. As soon as I asked her for help and understanding, she turned rude and disrespectful. She was highly NOT PROFFESSIONAL and demanding. Her language was rude and harsh.
I would not buy any kittens from her! She will take your money, i mean the full cost of the kitten, then she will tell you "not even bother to come and get your kitten!"
Bad business, wrong person to trust! BE AWARE!

I have bought THREE kittens from Amy at different times. They were, and ARE still extremely healthy! My cats were all bought in the same period of time this PERSON is claiming she bought her kitten from Amy! My kittens were perfectly healthy, as was every single kitten in there! Every time I was there, Amy invited me in to see her 'nursery', and it was extremely clean and well kept, as was her house! Feline aids wouldn't just pop up in a house full of cats that are certified healthy to begin with! What a nasty thing for this person to slander Amy this way. I hope Amy figures out who this is and can SUE her! I would recommend Gems of the South persians to anyone. Her kittens are loved, healthy and beautiful! She is always available to me to answer questions, she is always friendly and helpful. I can't imagine what a horrible person this is to do this to someone as nice as Amy! What a sicko!

Do a Google search for "ringworm" images. No surprise the picture used in the original post shows up near the top. It's from a health care site article about ringworm and certainly isn't of the original poster's child. This complaint is obviously false.

I also have purchased 2 kitty's on separate occasions from Amy Green and both kittens were completely healthy. As Amy stated, the contract was sent to me in advance to look over and when the kitten arrived, there was ample paperwork to show that Amy did go over and beyond in having the kitten tested for all kinds of issues through her vet.. I would recommend Gems of the south Persians to anyone looking to purchase a beautiful well socialized and healthy Persian kitten..

You were lucky she sold 2 to my friend the 1st died at 7 months and foolishly she gave her another chance! I wouldn’t she offered no discount or anything changes extra for breeding rights! Then she sold her a sterile male and wont do anything for my friend! Don’t trust this woman!

I purchased a kitten from Gems of the South Persians about 3 years ago. I had a wonderful experience. Amy was so through in guiding me through the new kitten process. She helped me pick my kitten out by which kitten actually "picked me". It was funny because this kitten was actually the cheapest one. She never tried to push me into buying a more expensive one or push me into a purchase at all. I even went home to think about whether I wanted the kitten or not and she never hassled me about it. When I came back 2 days later and bought the kitten, she gave me the health certificate, a sales contract, a kitten kit, and even some kitten food and cat litter to start with. She told me that I needed to take the kitten to the vet by the following Tuesday since I picked her up on a Saturday. I already had a vet appointment set up for Tuesday. My vet told me that she was completely healthy and that this was the nicest kitten he has ever seen. He said that he's never seen such a pretty purebred Persian in person before. He told me that usually he suggest people to stay away from breeders because they are not always truthful or they have bad living conditions for the animals. My Lily was the talk at the vet. Everyone wanted to play with her and talked about how beautiful she was. I even gave them Amy's website and one of the vet technician's ended up getting one from her as well. I told my vet that I met Amy at her home and everything was spotless and all of the cats looked healthy and were extremely friendly and well cared for. You could see that immediately because when she showed me the kittens, who have their own room, every cat and kitten came running up to her purring and wanting attention. You could really see how much she cares for her cats and how dedicated she is about raising good kittens. She was so nice and pleasant throughout the whole experience and even put up with me calling her for a few weeks asking thousands of questions about my new baby. Well when my baby turned 2 years old, my husband and I decided to get another kitten to keep her company while we are away at work. I contacted Amy again and purchased my second kitten from her. My friend even came with me and purchased 2, a brother and a sister. The experience was the equally as pleasant and we are all totally thrilled with our cats. Amy was absolutely amazing. This person writing these horrible things about her is apparently not talking about the right person. Here is a picture of my Lily lounging around outside. Of course she is an indoor cat, but she loves just staring at the bird and playing in my flowers so I let her play out there when I work in my garden. Thank you Amy for your wonderful cats!

Where is the picture of the kitten? This picture of a leg doesnt really prove much to me. I agree with the above comment. If the woman said she already saw the ringworm that was stupid to buy the kitten. I think someone is just trying to cause this person a problem. I researched this name and this is the only complaint I could find about her. It seems that if there were others, someone else would have posted something.

The complaint doesn't sound right. This woman says she saw the kitten had ringworm when she got it and asked the breeder about it. If she already knew the kitten had ringworm then why would you buy the kitten then be upset that your kid got it? This doesn't sound right to me.

I am totally disgusted how someone could put this up about me and my cats. We do not sell kittens without health certificates which include their first shots, de-worm, testing for feline aids and feline leukemia, earmites, parasites (internal and external), and a full check over by a license veterinarian as is REQUIRED by Florida law. All testing must be negative and all things done or a health certificate will not be issued. I have NEVER sold a kitten to ANYONE in Massachusettes AND have never sold to a Brend Daniels. I have no idea who this person is and it disgust me that someone would try to hurt my business in this manner. We also sell every kitten with a sales contract which is good for 1 year. If there were a problem with a defective kitten, then we replace the kitten with one of equal value. All customers are given a copy of the sales contract and are mailed one in advance to take their time in looking it over and returning it. Majority of my clients come in person to pick their kittens up and can see every cat and kitten we have. It is very clear that they are all healthy and well cared for. On top of that, I am licensed and inspected by my county for my breeder's license. I can prove paperwork to anyone about that. I have also had each of my adult cats tested and re-tested for feline leukemia and feline aids and have documentation proving they are all negative. And again, if they weren't, I would not be able to get a health certificate. This person has NEVER contacted me about any issues. I stand behind my cats and my contract and would have been happy to settle any issues had one been brought to my attention. Now, in my contract, if you have other animals in your household, we do not guarantee against any diseases, parasites, fungal infections etc because theses are things that spread from one animal to another very easily as my cats are always quarantined. (I even require that people who pick out a kitten in person wash their hands before handling a kitten and take off their shoes prior to coming in my house to keep things as clean and sanitary as possible.) We only guarantee against genetic defects at this time only. I also always tell my clients NOT to take their kitten to pet stores for this same precaution as well. I also recommend a 14 day quarantine for their new kitten and REQUIRE that everyone take their kitten to the vet within 2 business days for their own vet to certify that the kitten is healthy and free of any issues. I would appreciate it if this person would contact me as this entire report is slander and unsupported with any factual documentation or proof of such an accusation. If this were a true story, this person would have contacted me and would have known that there was an issue with their kitten as they would have taken their kitten to the vet within 2 business days as is required by the contract. Anyone can clearly read our contract at anytime on my website at www.cfapersiancats.com I have copies of every sales contract and health certificate done on every kitten I have ever produced and sold for the last 8 years. Please also feel free to read my updated past kittens page where the new owners wrote emails and sent updated pictures of their kittens who are all perfectly healthy.
