GEMB Lending Won't mail out my interest reporting form

I went through a bankruptcy this past year and my debts were discharged. GEMB lending would not allow us to reaffirm our loan because it is their policy to not do that. I have been paying on the loan on time. I was gathering up my tax information to file taxes and realized I never got my form from them. I called them and got the worst customer service I have ever received and I was told I would not get that form because they can not mail me anything. The bankruptcy is discharged so that no longer applies but they say it is their policy. I asked if they could tell me the reporting amount of interest. They gave it to me. I asked how I can go about getting my hands on the form and they transferred me to another department that also gave me the interest reported amount and it was different. Then told me I had to request the form in writing but that I may not get it still. When I asked why I was just told 2 different amounts they couldn't answer me. Their policies don't sound legal to me. That interest form is legally mine if I am not in default of the loan. Supposed to be mailed out by 1/31 and it hasn't. I could not get one of their employees to understand how wrong this was, one of them actually asked me to fax them something in writing from the IRS stating it has to be mailed by 1/31. I couldn't believe it!

Watch out... Santander consumer may now have your loan as they purchased a lot of GEMBs rv boat loans. I was never notified of the sale of my loan by either place so I continued paying GEMB who slowly sent the payments to Santander thereby making me late. They accepted the payments and 4 days before the next payment was due they repoed my fifth wheel. Filed complaints with everyone but GOD and an now awaiting a consultation with a lawyer.

GEMB Lending Poor Service

I was just wanted to chime in... GEMB sucks! Always has.
I'm sure it's an intentioanl thing too. Why else would they do such poor service, be impossible to find, not have a website, I have had nothing but problems with this company from the very beginning. My guess is that they make money by charging late fees re-pos. The sad part is most people wonlt know how bad they are until they get a loan with them. and then by then it too late.

I have a camper loan thru GEMB and in 8 years only one payment was 8 days past the 30 day limit due to a medical emergency. It now shows up as the only negative on my credit report until 2016. According to the company they do not have a one time forgiveness policy as violates Federal Law (a flat out lie). This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They call at all hours demanding their money if it is 2 days past due, and are more than willing to screw up your credit if you are late.

GEMB Lending Highway robbery

Ordered windows from Sears and was financed by GEMB. It does not matter how much we pay over and above the amount stated on the bill, the balance only goes down occasionally. We hit a rough patch last month and paid the amount due, normally we pay much more, all went to interest an nothing our balance is higher than last months. We would love to join this law suit. Enough is enough, this theft must be stopped. GEMB to me are licensed thieves. This is the only company I know that will not give you a breakdown of you bill, how long it will take to pay if you pay just the minimum and the total amount you will have paid if you make the payments stated on the monthly bills. Thieves, thieves, thieves.

GEMB Lending Won't send out payment book

We have a Monico product financed by GEMB Lending that we made our payment on for 8 years strait without missing a payment. We changed bank accounts 6 months ago and no longer have auto pay set up. I have requested them to send a payment book like we had at the start of the loan with the original lender but one representative says it is coming and the next one says they don't send out payment books. All they want to do is argue over the phone as if they want to take our motorhome away from us. we have tried to contact them sever times to request a payment book and have had no luck. I would not suggest using this company for any loans!

GEMB Lending Beware

My Parent financed an R.V, the loan was bought by GEMB.My Parents passed away 90 days apart leaving me TTEE of their living trust. I continued to make payments for the R.v for 36 months then GEME decided not to cash my checks and put the account in Default demanding the unit. I sent several letters and made several phone calls with no return calls. Now 5 yrs later I have a very rude man harassing me and my family for his R.V I can't believe this company can operate in this manner!

GEMB Lending What a rip off

I have been mailing my payment to this FAKE COMPANY GEMB LENDING INC. Los Angeles, Ca. WTF Why can't they be found or even called all the FAKE numbers are disconected and we have tryed to call every operater on the face of this earth! NO ONE has even ever heard of the Company! If some one out there know of a way to get in touch with this so called company, PLEASE I beg you to help.. What a rip OFF!

After being hung up on 4 times, and the automated system not recognizing my account number I finally was able to get a real customer service rep. on the phone. They did give me a payoff balance over the phone and gave me this number to call if I have issues again - [protected]

I have a number for you [protected] or [protected]. The problem is, that unless you only want automated information about your account, you will be on hold for 30 minutes or better.

Okay, I have a loan with them and they are NOT a fake company:

The Los Angeles address is a special automated facility that only processes payments.
Their office now is in Costa Mesa, if either of you have an issue, perhaps you should submit it in writing to the correspondence address in the coupon book:

Do you have a recreational vehicle loan? The only number I have been able to get a hold of anyone is [protected]. I've been calling to get a pay off for three friggin months and with NO reply. When they transfer me...I get a voice mail and never a return call. They told me I have to be transferred to the collections department when I've been sending payments to them. WHERE is my money going? I'm beginning to feel as though I've been stolen from.

GEMB Lending Terrible Customer Service

Just read complaint about being on hold with GEMB Lending for over 30 minutes. I have had similar experiences! Had a problem with a check they had not received even though I proved it was paid and sent. I was on the phone waiting for response for over 20 minutes. The person who answered could not help me so they switched me to another department where again I held on for another 15 minutes. GEMB is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with!

GEMB Lending Lending practices

My dad passed away almost three months ago from lung cancer still owing on his boat that is financed through GEMB. Even though we sent them written notes signed by my dad that it was ok for them to talk to me they wouldn't tell me a thing and they claimed that they never received the faxes that contained the notes, even though I had the paper saying send successful. They would sure talk to me as long as I would give them the account information to take a payment from dad's account. They claimed they were sending monthly statements but we never received anything except the over due collection notices. They have the right address so the post office is not the problem. When I informed one of the so called gentlemen that called, who you couldn't hear very good he was talking so low, that my dad had passed away he asked me if I had power of attorney. Power of attorney's are null and void when the person dies so what good is that going to do GEMB. They were very rude and wouldn't tell me a thing. So they are now talking to my lawyer and having to wait until I can find a buyer for the boat and probate court before they are going to get any money for the boat. Every time they called the house their number was blocked and the caller ID was blocked and they wouldn't leave a message on the machine. I am definately not recommending this company to anyone for financing. Go to your local bank you'll get better treatment there.

GEMB Lending Failure to produce title in timely manner

Paying off loan - I was told by the person I spoke with that when I wired the amount to be paid by 3:00 pm, they would overnight the title to me the same day. It has been 3 days, still no title, no satisfaction when calling GEMB. Talked to supervisor without satisfaction. Today I am told it won't be mailed til Wednesday (almost one week) before they will mail it.They have my money and I have nothing.

GEMB Lending Unauthorized billing

My husband has a loan with GEMB lending and was behind in his payment so I told him that he could make the payment out of my checking account. I was present when the call was made to GEMB. They were authorized to take the amount due of 394.56 and only that amount. My husband was very specific about the fact that this was the ONLY money they could wire out of my account.

On the 24th of December, 512.66 came out of my bank account. I had my husband call GEMB about the error and the cust. service rep was the same person that he talked to the first time. This guy was very belligerent and although he agreed that the taped transcript said that all he could take was the 394.56, he did not see any problem with taking an extra payment. I threatened to have my bank reverse the entire amount and then he finally agreed to refund the difference within 48 hours...well it is now the 29th of December and they have refunded NOTHING.

This is blatant wire fraud on the part of GEMB. I have filed complaints with the FTC and FDIC so far and I want SOMEBODY in jail for this.

GEMB by far has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. My husband and I have both sustained pay cuts and they refuse to come to a long term solution. All they offer is a short term solution. They told me I could replace my job, however, with having a disease similiar to MS who is exactly going to hire me...go figure, this company is terrible and we seriously regret having a loan with them.
