In December purchased a two line phone and an additional handset from Office Depot for work. I took them to charge but the base wouldnot charge. The next morning i exchanged it. I took it to work to charge it. Then we closed for the Holidays.When we came back; The base Still did not charge. I tried to return them to Office Depot but the 14 days had passed. I was referred to the replacement plan that I had purchased. I called them and they told me to ship the phones back to them and in 4-6 weeks they would issue new phones. I told them that this was a business and we could not wait so long. I mailed them back the phones with an explanation of what happened and that I wanted a refund. I then purchased new phones for our business. Six weeks later I received the additional handset. I wrote another letter explaining everything again and mail the handset back. A week later I received what I assume was the base (I have not opened the box). I then called and spoke to someone and explained all. They said they would call me back within one week. Almost three weeks later I called them, and spoke to a “Claire Smith”, which had a very heavy Indian accent. Again I explained all; she said someone would call me back with in 48 hrs. One week later I call them again; this time furious and demand a supervisor. After waiting on the line about 1 hr. A “Mr. Angel Cloud” got on the phone and I went through the entire story again. He said he would call me back with in one hour. He actually did. And then he told me that he would be authorizing a refund but that I had to call another number to have them issue a call tag for the phone I had here and to process the refund. Today, May 5, I called and “Josh Gardner” says there is no refund in site and I have to call the previous number where Mr. Cloud is located. I refused and I asked to speak to a supervisor because I would not be playing phone tag. He then took my cell and said that “Sara Towers” would call me back today. I will not hold my breath. And I will not let this go. First how can you expect a business will wait 6-7 weeks for replacements and second of all. Would you even want a phone that you had to return twice because they did not work? DO NOT BUY PHONES FROM OFFICE DEPOT OR GE
