I must get at least two "lottery" winning emails a day, sometimes more. HOW DO I STOP THESE?
I'm so sick of these emails! In the United States we have a Do Not Call Registry. I believe our cyber world is in dire need of a Do Not Email Registry!

I am wondering if the notification I received from the Gazel National Lottery was true. It said I am a "winner" of 800, 000+ pounds sterling.

I am intrigued as well as skeptical.

Have you had any other inquiries regarding this?

    Thank you,

I am sure there is some safeguards that could be put in place to save us the hassle of receiving these scams! It causes a lot of unnecessary stress and anger. It is about time software was put in place to stop these emails. It also would be fair to say that an acknowledgement by the Complaints Board could be given to the recipient of these scam emails so that they knew something was being done about them and if legal action was forthcoming. Some form of advertisement by the Complaints Board warning other users of these sort of scams would be beneficial.

I was just looking back at some of my older e-mails, (January) to be precise. This was one of them, I figured it had to be a scam, so didn't send any info. Is there any way at all if a person can find out or tell if a promotion is a scam? Some are almost believable, the way they set it all up. Warren, punmster
