Gately's Home Fitness Club / Poor service!

I requested several fitness items through Gately's Home Fitness Club, which I ordered on Sept 11, 2007. I have waited for about 3 weeks and never received the items, so I emailed them. They replied and canceled the order saying that they do not have the items, in which they did not even bothered to let me know that they not have the items, and not planning to even let me know. As they do not have the items and canceled the ordered, I assume that they would refund my money, WRONG. I wrote them several emails, and called them. I should know that those thief's do not respond by return calls or emails. Those practically stole my money, and is operating in the website trying to steal more from innocent customers. SHAME ON YOU, Gately's Home Fitness Club.

    I ordered a recumbent bike from Gately's Home Fitness Store on August 26, 2007 and have yet to receive any indication of a shipment number. After dozens of emails and repeated phone calls/messages for a month, I DID NOT RECEIVE A SINGLE RETURN CALL and only two e-mails with zip, zero, nada information about my order and neither e-mails were personalized with a name and/or phone number of a representative. I can only assume that Gately's Customer Service has no intention of responding. Tomorrow I will go to my bank and attempt to obtain a return of my funds.

    Gately's Home Fitness Club - Nightmare online shopping experience!

    I ordered, and paid for, a Bowflex Extreme 2 from Home Fitness Club on July 30, 2007. The order was supposed to be delivered in 5-10 business days.
    After three weeks of hearing NOTHING, (except a generic email saying my order had been processed), I called their Customer Service Department. After being on hold for over 30 minutes, I reached someone who told me that there was a "Warehouse problem" with my order, but it would be here the next week. OK cool, stuff happens.

    I wait another 10 days. NOTHING. NADA. ZIP. I call the Customer Service Department again, and after a LONG hold, ask for a Supervisor. I'm mad now. She gives me a song-and-dance about how they are experiencing "warehouse problems" yet again. After expressing my dissatisfaction and demanding a better explanation than that, she PROMISES to get me answers and call me back on Monday of the next week.

    I hear NOTHING, no return call, email, NOTHING. I left messages on her voicemail countless times for the next few weeks. No response. I now try call the Customer Service line again, over and over. Not only am I on HOLD forever, but then it gets disconnected every time before I get to talk to someone. I emailed them many times as well, and heard NOTHING. NADA ZIP.

    I FINALLY am so frustrated that I leave a voicemail on the supposed "Supervisor's" extension saying that if someone doesn't call me back I am going to cancel my order. LESS than an hour after that call, I got a generic email from Home Fitness Club, stating that my order has been canceled and "thanks for shopping at Gately's Home Fitness Club"!

    You've GOT to be kidding me, Im thinking. The generic email stated that I would receive my refund within 7-10 business days. That was three weeks ago, and I have received NOTHING. NADA. ZIP.

    I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in CO where the company is based. The BBB sent my complaint to them and they have not responded. I have no Boflex, no money, no satisfaction whatsoever. I will NOT let them get away with this, but a warning to you other consumers. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH The Home Fitness Club. I think they are a SCAM. This was the WORST online "almost" shopping experience I have EVER had, and it is STILL unsettled!

    I also received the notice that my funds would be credited back to my account. I have talked to BankAmerica folks. More info to come soon.
