I purchased a Gary Vaccum 10/26/2009 and a piece broke inside of it so i had to call and get replacement..and the lady that i talked to had told me that it would be a $50.. shipping fee. And i said that was fine, then i ask her if i only had to pay shipping on it one time and she said yes!...and i stressed to her so when i ship it back to your company i don't have to pay for shipping twice right and she said that is right mam. So i too it that i would only have the one time fee of $50.00. But when i receive the sweeper there was no return label in it so i called gary vac back and spoke with Jeffcustomer#0503 and first of he was very RUDE ...and he told me that a manager would call me back in 3 days not to ship the sweeper back until i here from the company so i have waited and it has been 9 days and no call..so i called today 02/08/2010 to see what i should do and they told me that i would have to pay shipping and send it back by 02/27/2010 or my card would be charged $200.00, so now i have lost days on getting it back to the company so if it doesn't get there in time it wont be my fault! I should be reenbursed for the shipping that i have to pay to send the sweeper back! I am very upset with this company and i will spread nothing but bad news about this company unless i am refuned my shipping !..if i would have been told on the phone that i would have to pay shipping both ways then it wouldn't be a problem but i was miss lead to beleive i had to psy shipping 1 time! I think your people working for you should be more kind and more clear about how this works.

Thank you
Kimberly Davis

Our Garry vacuum inhaled something deadly to the fan and felt like it was going to shake apart. After being told by Garry that they would replace the vacuum for free with a $100 shipping and handling charge, much more than the vacuum was worth, I decided to look for a replacement fan blade/impeller and found that Garry doesn't sell one, however, the Oreck XL Fan Impeller [protected] is a direct replacement (albeit white instead of black) that cost $10.49 at SimplyVacuums.com. The shipping was a healthy $11.60 however. So for $22.09 we're up and running again. Don't buy this vacuum. It's a bad design. The fan should suck through the bag, not push particles into the bag so they have to go through the fan first.

Garry vacuum is a scam! It is a made in China piece of junk that will fail in only months after purchase. You will pay between $50 and $90 for shipping of the replacement each time it fails. You will pay for return shipping. They will charge you whatever they think they can steal from you. If you don't return the defective unit they will charge your credit for the replacement unit. They profit each time they send you a new $20 vac to replace the one for which you paid $200. This is the only company in the LA area out of 214 listed in the Yellow pages that deals only with a PO Box number. Their shipping is handled by SPExpress. I can not find a name or address for anyone in the company.

I would like to know just how much it would cost to return a Garry Vacuum for "free" repair.
I just bought one a few days ago--I can still return it. Guess I may have been too gullible.

Hi Ms. Davis,

I work for the Garry vacuum company. I am sorry that the replacement policy under the Lifetime Warranty was not clearly explained to you. I will be happy to call you today so we can get this straightened out for you. Thank you. Mary
