Gamepal.com bad company

Payed for an account on gampal.com. on thursday midday. Got an email on friday midday saying there was an issue with the automated login so they had to manually do it. Then the rep went on to say that the item/info would be delivered shortly. Have not heard a word since. Despite numerous emails the only thing i have gotten in return were automated replies. They claim to have 24/7 support and even have a live chat button. None of witch is true. The live button only opens an email page. I do take some of the blame for not looking into the site before purchase. I have done some looking and it appears that gamepal.com and gametag.com are the same company.

I have as well bought an account from those idiot and never seen any thing not even a email saying thank you for ur purchase. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING EVER FROM THOSE GUYS> i wish i would of done research on them before i lost 160$ .

Got scammed by these bunch of Tossers. Payed for a Blood Elf Hunter to be hand leveled to 70 and this was around 5 months ago I ordered from them and made payment using Paypal, I don't recommend dealing with these bunch of Tossers as you will lose your money and won't see your Account.

Gamepal.com Scam

www.gamepal.com is a big load of crap. About 6 months ago I sold 2 high level World of Warcraft characters to the site for 100$ and followed everything they said exactly. They said to expect payment within the next 73 hours to my paypal account. After waiting a week I went onto the site and contacted them telling them that I still haven't received payment. They said to be patient. I waited 2 more weeks and contacted them again. They claim to not have not ever had made a deal with me even when I sent my account submission ID and proof of transaction. They refused to comply. Be warned, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GAMEPAL.

I sold 2 accounts to this side but never ever got a response to the quotes i filled in at their website, they just changed my 2 accouts passwords and ripped both accounts!

What can i go do about it? Police?

Gamepal.com Awful company

Well Gamepal tried again. On Feb 12 2009 Kross Lieberman and Stone called and I missed there call so they left a voicemail saying to call loran back at a number and did not leave why she needed me to or a company name or saying she was collections so I forgot about the call from her. (Kross Lieberman and Stone is a Collection Agency apparently located across the street from Gamepal if you check on Google Maps.) Today on Feb 19 2009 They called me harassing me about some 800 bucks I owe them from gamepal about my Final Fantasy XI account I sold gamepal 2 years back.. They claimed gamepal has sent me emails saying I owe them and never have received one email at all.

I told her to send me their proof and why they were billing me this $800. She claimed Kross Lieberman and Stone received the collection on Feb 11 2009 (The next day she called me on Feb 12th remember) and has sent mail to my address, she verified the address even though I had not told her my address. Mail can't even get to my house in 8 days and that's if they sent it out the first day they received this collection on Feb 11th.

She down right said no, she's not sending anymore mail because I have not responded to the mail she had sent and the phone call she gave me. She told me to pay up now or else it was going to be put on my credit and then told me how I could pay. During the phone conversation she told me to pay or it would go on my credit and how I could pay so many times I can't even remember.

After all that I was still waking up and stupid so I gave her my credit card info after she told me she could give me my old account info for Final Fantasy XI. She then put me on hold for a few and came back and told me she could not give me my account info because I had the info already because I reactivated my old account from 2 years ago. I told her I did not have it then she laughed and said, well you better contact the person you gave it to then.

After all that and waking up more I slapped myself a few hundred times for my stupidity and called my credit card company of course and reversed the charge and changed my card number. But there is still a Collections agency after me that are oddly located across the street from Gamepal's address.

I have also emailed Gamepal about this but they just sent me like 6 computer generated emails in a few hours time talking about selling accounts. I emailed the old email account ([protected]@gamepal.com) that I emailed to when I sold my ffxi account to them and had troubles getting them to stop payment of ffxi for like 3 or 4 months. Im still waiting for a human to email me back but its only been one day. The emails also said the live chat would be down for a little bit but to try back later.

After all this I have read a ton online about this happening to tons of people and plan to post this everything to join in with everyone. I will never pay this money and even if I did I bet the collection agency would call me back later demanding more. This collection agency sounded really unprofessional and demanded stuff but refused to send me proof until I paid up. After I paid she said it would take some time to get the proof from gamepal. Bet I would never see any of it or even the receipt she claimed she will be sending me. I don't know if the collection agency is for real or not.

They could not have any evidence from gamepal to have a collections claim in the first place on me so im guessing gamepal and Kross Lieberman and Stone is in together on this stuff but I have no proof on that or what so called proof they have on me. All this just sounds to fishy to me and what I have read about gamepal's owners it could just be them making false evidence and the collection agencies name is getting hurt through all this.

Anyways please if you have any info to what happened to any of you about this and how you ended it with the collection agency and gamepal PLEASE email me or leave comments if you can. I plan on getting a lawyer if this goes further. Thanks for any help in advance! Now to wait till Monday so I can make some calls and report these companies of this fraud. Sorry for any bad grammar and spelling lol.

Gamepal.com Fraudulent company

Hello everyone, I could sure use some help. I made a post about this on other forums and I hope to get a response somewhere.

I was contacted by phone today by Gamepals collection agency saying if I don't pay them the 500.00 dollars I owed them, it will hit my credit in a few days. ( that was a shock!)

I asked him what the 500.00 was for, and he said for a WoW account I sold them in february of '08 and they accused me of regaining ownership of the account.

I hadn't dealt with Gamepal since back in 2/08 so I checked my record of e-mails and they did send me an e-mail in 2/08 saying the account I sold them had been recalled. The e-mail also said if I do not give them the password they would file a claim and charge me for $420 + the amount of the account I sold them. Also, it stated that if I don't pay them then I would have to fly to Raleigh, NC and go to court. So now all this time has passed and their collections agency called and said I owe gamepal money.

I did not regain control of the account and the account did not belong to me in the first place. I asked him what proof they had (remember this is their collections agency I was talking to) and they said gamepal contacted blizzard and confirmed I regained control of the account. This is obviously a load of crap because I did no such thing, and couldn't even if i wanted to as the account didn't belong to me in the first place. Even if it was actually my account and I did recall it, blizzard would never give out my information.

I asked the collections agency to give me the phone number of gamepal so that I may speak with someone there and he told me gamepal doesn't have a phone number and I should e-mail them. I sent them an e-mail saying I did not recall any account and that they have no proof because no such proof exists. I told them to stop contacting me and to tell their collections agency to stop contacting me.

I googled gamepal and collections agency and I got a lot of results saying gamepal almost went broke a year ago and were trying to get money any way they can and that many people were in situations like this with gamepal. Some people say ignore them, and some say hire a lawyer to write a letter for $100.

I know I was stupid for using gamepal in the first place, but do they have any legal means to make me pay the money or make me go to court?

What should I do? Their collection agency told me my credit was about to get hit because I have not paid them. Do they have any legitimate case on me at all?

I'm worried because the transaction back then was done through paypal and they have my paypal information and have my home address.

I'm a college student and can't afford to fly to NC and go to court. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Order a o Account from them for $68.42 the company said 30 min delivery to 24 hour delivery and i had waited fo the delivery and have not recived it . Went to there so called 24 hours live support and it was just an email and the respoce was automate after serveral emails i called my CC company and disputed the charge still waiting on that. So i decided to try and trace the gamepal.com on WHOIS and there is no contact infomation in ther database as trace it back furter i found out that the company that host there account is Rackspace.com i called rackspace.com and gave them the gamepal.com and rackspace could not find it under that name so i took it a step further and found out that the ip address they use is 72.3254.146 i than called back rackspace and gave them this IP address and low and behold they pulled up the account and they would not release any info on that account because it was reg. with a private name. Rackspace told me to email abuse@rackspace.com and they will investaget it. This company is a fraud. stay away from them.

I ordered a ffxi account from these guys like a month ago and still have not received my account information. They blocked me from live chat and keep giving me the same email responses saying that they already sent account information and if i didn't receive to let them know. They have bad customer service and should be put out of business.

I decided to sell my WoW account on tuesday 3/30/2010. My order was A1454684, and I later decided to look into the website. I found out that this site has a F from the BBB, and is well known for their fraud. I just want my order A1454684 to be cancelled and I will be happy.

I am in this same situation but it is still on my credit report and ruining my credit. I dont even have access to my account anymore so i dont know what they are talking about. If someone has any info on what to do to get this taken off my credit report please by all means inform.

u dont have to pay them back they dont have no proof that u claimed the account back becuase blizzard would banned your account if they call tell them that u sold yuour account to them, read the blizz contract u cant sell account and u will get banned if u do so when they buy ur account is ilegay and they have no proof that u claimed it back

Gamepal.com Internet fraud, products undelivered

Okay, on 28 Nov, 2017, I placed an order for a game account, within a 2 hour period, I did receive a verification call, that was completed inside of a few minutes. The next morning I received an email from Dawn Reed, stating that the account I had already paid for had been placed for sale by a "former" employee and offered a coupon.

While this bothered me, it meant something that the company wanted to make right, and I used said coupon. Its now been 2 days, I have tried contacting the company a multitude of times, via phone, email and their "24/7" Live support. All without any avail. Their "account manager" does not answer his/her phone EVER, their live support that is supposedly 24/7 is never there, and they dont repond to any emails.

Their website advocated delivery withing 2mins to 24 hours, its been well in excess of that. No company should be operating with this horrible of a customer service. If someone from the company wishes to respond to an email I have sent and deliver said product to me, I will be glad to amend this. I am already on the phone with the BBB, and my states internet fraud department this evening to file complaints. Iceband183 Fort Eustis, Virginia

So I purchased gold and an account from paypal.com. I receive the account fine. Although the gear is TERRIBLE, I didn't mind that much, the description was misleading though. Well after about a few weeks of playing the account, the password is changed on me.

I'm thinking the original owner has taken it back. Well I contact gamepal.com and tell them the problem. They tell me I can chose from new accounts for a replacement. Well all they do is play the never ending game of 'well forward this to the accounts management team' and nothing ever happens. No one ever contacts me. Nothing. No one can help you, there is no phone number.

GAMEPAL SOLD THE ACCOUNT AND THEN TAKES IT BACK WHEN THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY. Also the gold I purchased, they don't even have on the server to give. And it took well over a month for a refund.

Beware of Gamepal, they are frauds.

bought a virtual account, from gamepal payed via paypal, and they wont send me the information that goes with the account, but they took the money.they only sent part of the info and then sent e mail ssaying they would send rest later, and they havent yet that was over 2 months ago.i cant secure the account without the info.i cant subscribe securely or puchase upgrades on account, becouse anyone can log on with the info they gave me i cant change it.and all the info was in the deal.i have all the proof.gamepal is a scam!and i think they have multiple sites with diff names, but same cost service.

Purchased an account from Gamepal.com about one year ago for world of warcraft. they have since battlenet enabled the account and are reselling it. they have a life time garuantee, but they will not respond to emails and there chat 'conveniently' is always closed. Its obvious as it was nothing on my end, and i think this is ridiculous. Buyer beware.

Hi, I am being taken advantaged of, Gamepal.com has send a collection agency after me for the amount of $1, 877.85. For taking back 2 accounts that were never mine in the first place. I have now had to contact a lawyer and the RCMP / This company is in shambles, their records are not accurate and they ripping people off. DO NOT EVEN ASSOCIATE WITH THIS COMPANY, AND PLEASE DO NOT SHARE COMPUTER/PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH THEM! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH

A few months ago i ordered a custom powerleveling order from accountgear.com where you put in the details of the wow character you want and its level and then they do it. I payed them the money but a few weeks past and they wouldn't respond to my emails, i eventually found out they hadn't even started the order yet so i asked for a refund. Now, months later i still haven't got my money back and i keep getting the same automated emails back saying they have sent my information to the account managers. I cant get any help from the live chat as they tell my to email them because they cant do anything. Has anyone else had this problem?

Sadly, my story is the same. They sold me an account, it got stolen back and they then gave me a "credit" for the amount I paid. Of course, credit in a company that does not respond to emails or acknowledge you in any way is meaningless. It is a scam.

Well, they've gotten me 2 times now. I first bought an account and leveled 2 or 3 chars up 10 levels for the expansion only to have the account "stolen" back by someone when I was in full epic gear on the chars. After weeks of emails and unanswered questions in live chat, the company gave me credit for another account through them. I did much the same with the new account and maxed out everything again over about a year or more. The second account just got stolen back by "someone" again.

Now the company or any of its lackeys won't talk to me...

Lesson learned for me...

They didnt pay me for my account and has since taken the account and changed all the information so i can no longer access it. And as many others have said, never they reply to emails and live chat doesnt work. Filed complaint with BBB.org and am still looking into other ways

I have to agree at one time this was a good company but it hence got down the toilet. i purchased an account only to have it stolen back, now going out of my way to try to get it closed if i ahve to just to be fair. they used to do all orders quickly, then all of sudden every order 'fails' one way or another and they only refund account purchases with gamepal dollars so they try to keep your money.currently there live chat does not work at all. this is ridiculous

WOW this company is amazing the LIVE CHAT is no such thing unless its for currency of course cause its the easiest to get off their hands, they DO NOT REPLY TO EMAILS WITH ACCOUNTS QUESTIONS just auto reply the facts to you even tough the currency and powerleveling poeple have replied to me within the hour they say they cannot help me if its an account problem . I sumbited my account info and have been waiting for payment since the 8th their excuse for the live chat is that theyr upgrading to phone operators...yeah i cant wait to see how THAT goes SO thank god they havent touched my acccount yet im tired of waiting and unanswered emailes(like 15) so ill be changing to another site i seriously dont recommend gamepal to ANYONE .

Gamepal.com SCAMMERS!

So I sold an FFXI account to gamepal over a year ago. On Nov. 3 of this year I get an email from them saying that I reset the password to the account that I sold them and that they were unable to access the account. All of this, of course, if complete BS because after I sold the account they changed the password. The only way I could have reset the password then was either: 1) know the password they used, which I didnt and still dont or 2) call Square Enix and have them reset the password over the phone, which I did not do either.

After selling that account I never tried to get it back because it was in their contract not to do so, I followed it to the letter.

So because the email they sent it to doesnt get checked very often (I use it for paypal transactions only) I never got to email them back to resolve this issue. So they got their COLLECTIONS AGENCY involved.

When I sold this FFXI account, I received 104USD for it. Now theyre saying I owe them 1425.60USD! They're trying to scam me out of my money saying I need to pay the retail price of the account because it was not delivered to the customer...OVER A YEAR LATER?!

Now I have to get a lawyer into this matter because their collections agency are being vague about what they can do to resolve this matter. Ughhh!

NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAMMERS! THEY ARE GOOD FOR NOTHING!

I purchased an account from them. After making the payment through moneybookers, i went back tot he website but the account was still showing under checkout, and had not been processed for validation. I contacted their live chat, and was told to send in an email. Which I did. That was one week ago. And since then, all i have had back is a couple of holding reminders to say they are looking at it. All my attempts to go through live support have been stonewalled. because according to their live chat, there is nothing they can do!

And there is no number to call either. So basically i have been waiting in vain, and going by the other complaints here, i don't think my wait is going to be over soon. I will definitely never do business with this company again and would not recommend anyone to do so either.

Yeah I got scammed by them too, lost 179 bucks after purchasing 1-70 Powerleveling Service. a Woman called and asked me to validate my details but it's been over 4 months now and I still haven't received my Toon, Tossers...

Gamepal.com Online fraud

I used to play an online video game called Lineage 2, i created and played and leveled a character. i had personal issues and decided to stop playing the game. I sold the character to an online website, Gamepal.com, for $107, this was about 6-9 months ago. well 6 days ago i received an email from the Gamepal.com, that said ' This is a warning email to inform you we are in the process of filing a credit card dispute on your payment sent to you along with processing a collections claim using the registration and innovation information (we record your information when you submit your account). After our recent investigation, we have solid evidence proving that you reset the password to the account you sold us. We offer 3 options to resolve this issue. '

First off, i have not played this game since the sale of this character and they have a collection agency that has contacted me telling me that i owe them over $1300, and all of these claims they make are false. i have looked on the internet and found people that they have become victim of this scam. please let me know who i can contact to get help or what i can do.

It seems the bulk of these complaints are people with "collection" related issues and ones that happened prior to 2009.

Complaints 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 on this page are all collection related issues.
Complaint 6 is some guy saying Gamepal is a scam because SOE had a breach on their company which makes no sense at all being that those companies aren't direct partners with each other.

In regards to the other 5 complaints in regards to the collection agency, did you guys actually try to contact Gamepal? Just spending 15 seconds surfing their website and you find a link on how to actually resolve the issue.

Personally I cannot comment on Gamepal as I haven't bought from them since 2006 and while I realize things may have changed, I do see that the bulk of people complaining are related to the same common collection related issues. Being that the company has been in business now for over 7 years, if they were having the issues like people claim they are having, then they would have been out of business by now. Instead it seems they are still doing a lot of business per their facebook.

It should be noted that AS OF 5/15/11 ... RMT businesses, as well as greedy players are looking to cash in on the free 45 days given by SOE on ALL accounts due to the breach.
Massive recalls of toons, as well as the downtime of several sites such as Gamepal and others...

What can be done to make them $#*@ off? =) the same thing happened to me, I was not the original owner of the account I sold to them, they knew that before they bought the account so they were 100% responsible of the account. They also told me they contacted blizzard and they said I took the account, but if they can get that much info out of blizzard they would be able to reset the account, so now they keep sending me mail, calling my house and sending me emails because they are trying to scam me into giving them 600$+, so anyone know what I can do to get it back.

I had the exact same thing happen to me today. I got a letter from their collections agency stating I owed them over 1400$ for a FFXI account I sold to gamepal over a year ago.

Ive been reading up on them and it looks like theyre in a lot of financial problems, seems to me theyre going through they're records to get double payment of their services! WATCH OUT!

Heads up, anything that you are sent to Collections on you have the right to Contest claims under a time statue of 30 days written notice in which they will have to forfeit their claim or take you to small claims court. Because of the nature of their kind of company, you can definitely win in Small claims court by arguing the validity of online goods supplied by a company that is in violation of another company.

Gamepal.com Gamepal Fraud

I sold my WoW account to gamepal about 2 months ago. Everything seemed fined. I had the impression that the site was pretty legit you know. I recieved the money 124$. But i felt this wasnt enough and wanted a refund. I emailed the accounts manager later saying i wanted the refund. He had no problem with it. I sent the money back to gamepal and they told me to wait for my account information back. This was about 5 weeks or so ago. And still waiting for that single email.

I would hate to have to open claims up to paypal and other sites but seems what i am going to have to do.

I sold my WoW account about a week ago.
I received nothing.
Not one single email.
I gave them all the information and everything. I read every little detail on the website and it looked legit. idk what to do now. i had 4 years of work into the account and now its just gone.

Gamepal.com Fraud and cheating!

I have ordered a virtual item from Gamepal on 09 November 2007 it was suppose to be delivered on the 9th of December. I have contacted gamepal via email and they replied saying I could select another account with the virtual item as there was a problem with the original one they created. I selected an account and asked them to supply it. They did not honor the agreement and ignore all my emails and there are no telephonic contact details. It is now the 13th of February 2008 and I still cannot contact them. This is obviously a scam and would like a refund. I have the original emails as proof of our correspondence. That is what i sent to paypal.

Go to the resolution center on your paypal account and create a dispute. They let me know that when there is a dispute they put pressure on the merchant to resolve it otherwise they cancel the merchant's account. They also take steps to recover your purchase amount if enough disputes are lodged against the merchant. So create a dispute through paypal.

Hit them where it hurts it's also the best way to be heard and its how Gamepal recieve the majority of their payments. They cant afford too loose there merchant account.

I also received a phone call in regards to me retrieving an account I sold to them and not only did they get the game wrong this terrible collections agency says i owe $800 for a $137 account. Not only did i send them the information after i had it recalled because they said i changed the info they said it was taken care of now 13 months later here they r turning me over to collections. HAS ANYONE BEEN TAKEN TO COURT BY THESE THIEVES?

here my story
on may 16, 2008 i bought a wow account from oloot.com which is one of companies along with ige.com, mysupersales.com.
i got my account it had 4 70's druid, warrior, mage, warlock great gear tranfer them to another server every thing was goin fine asking all info to account they sent back secret word answer .
i thought great asked when i get the rest no reply back just be patient send it on to account manager to fix 70 day later nothin
ooh 10 days earier account login info change no reason why ?
so now i'm out account and 350 bucks paid for account and monthly fee on it !
so i sent e-mail after e-mail to them no response

i tryed to sell a guildwars account to them.

after 7 days of getting the run around i found out from others what scammers they are. luckly i changed the pw on my account early enough

I also was scammed by Gamepal. I purchased a virtual game player for my son's 13th birthday. Paid by paypal (which I'll never do again) and never received the item. Have notified them more times than necessary and no refunds have ever been sent. I also have never spoken to anyone who is a decision maker. All the live-chat people can do is say their hands are tied. Whatever that means. If you live in Raleigh, N.Carolina, you can file a small claims against them. The owner is Adrian J. Robey, 3209 Gresham Lake Rd., Suite 146, Raleigh NC 27615. Mailing address: 12800 Rosalie St., Raleigh NC 27614. I was instructed to file with my local police dept. of the fraud and also with small claims. This company should be put out of business and I do not understand how they can continue to get away with internet robbery. Where are our rights?

Dont just let them screw you, take appropriate measures. Go to www.IC3.gov and file acomplaint, file a complaint with the BBB, with Paypal, and anyone else you think might have an interest in the issue. I just forwarded them a copy of my IC3 complaint so we'll see if it gets me anywhere.

their customer service is horrible, noone seems to know anything about whats going on with your order. All I've gotten so far is a complete run-around. As of now I am still hashing it out with them over an account. It would be hard for me to do business with them again

Gamepal.com Scam and fraud!

First of all sorry for my english, i am not original english speaker but i try my best. So recently i have bought eq2 account (70 Ratonga Necromancer on Blackburrow - Evil) on Gamepal, so i paid via paypal and after an hour i got phone call from them where i get successful verification. I was like cool that went so easy now i get mine account infos but i was terribly wrong on their website in FAQ section its said getting acc. info can take 2min up to 24h later on they operator in online chat told me up to 48h mostly. Ok so i tried then wait 1 hour 2 3 and asked online chat for some update on my order i got nothing just pasting FAQ (they really not online support, they give you no contact or emails on their superiors).

After 1 day passed i tried them contact again vian online char and again i got no update, tried sent few emails on their email but still got no response from anyone. On 2nd day after 55 hours of waiting (48h period has already passed which breaks their promise mentioned in their FAQ onsite) i got mail from them exactly from Assistant Team Leader - Zach Donovan with EQ2 informations(account name + password), so i tried and sure it doesn't working, i am pretty sure this account doesn't exist or is already deleted or banned.

And then i tried contact their online chat support again asking i want back my money refunded, as always operators there are useless they just keep pasting FAQ from website again again, they give you no informations about anything! Then i sent them few emails asking them to give my money back as i am not satisfied with trade kind like this. I got no response from these mails i sent to them yet and i sent them plenty. Gamepal just really good Scammed/Frauded me and took my $427.90 from me. I have already mate Paypal Dispute regarding this problem.

I purchased a EQ2 account 2 days ago. After 24 hours I received a username and/or password that does not work. I have emailed accounts@gamepal.com approx 5 times. I have sent messages via the message system on their website and I have talked to live support. Live Support tells me to email accounts@gamepal.com. Of course no one has answered any of my emails back. I am ready to file a complaint with the BBB and file a dispute with Paypal.com. And no I am not an ex-employee or competition.
