They offered a free trial. I paid for shipping. Then I did NOT ORDER anymore and my bank was charged and I want a refund. I had to cancel my card so they would not do it again. I called and spoke to the company and told them I wanted a refundand to cancel my "active acccount" they said I had. They gave me a return auth # and told me my membership was canceled now. So I just want to make sure they do, if they do not, this is on record. They gave me a number of [protected] on July 1, 2009. They scam you into thinking if you dont call within 15 days of receipt of the trial then you are going to be ordering more and they will charge you. THey better not charge my account again. They tell you the are an FDA approved lab but their product says it is NOT FDA APPROVED it says right on the bottle.

I ordered the "free sample" for $.99 shipping, it took nearly 2 weeks to arrive...which was scanned as delivered on Sept 10th...I checked the delivery recipet online on the postal website. My credit card was charged $86.42 on Sept 20th...TEN DAYS from the date of delivery. I called the phone number on my credit card statement and got 'John' on the line and told him that I had an unauthorized charge on my credit card and would he please explain what the cahrge was for. He said that I had an active account with them and that my 'free sample' wasn't free (aint that a hoot!?) and that I was supposed to call the company within 19 days (19 days!? It hasn't even been 19 days since the product was received...it's still 9 days short!) and cancel my account or I would be charged for the full price of the bottle that I had in my possession. I would have to cancel my active account in order to not recieve any future shipments or charges, and did I want to cancel my active account with them? "YES!" OK, your account has been canceled, you will not receive anymore shipments or unwanted charges on your account. I said "what about the EXISTING charge on my credit card?" Well ma'am, I see that you do qualify for a 30 day refund if you return the un-used portion of your Acai Berry product and I can give you an RMA number, do not return it "return to sender" you must pay the postage for the return or you will not be credited for the return. You will be notified via email once we have received the shipment and expect 5-7 business days for your credit card to be credited for the full amount.
So I'm sending the botle out tomorrow and having it shipped signature confirmation so they can't say the shipment was delayed...I will have proof when they shipped it. I also disputed the charge as 'unauthorized' with my credit card. Let's see if they are true to their word.

i agreed to receive a trial sample of Acai XL for 3.95.
later, i noticed a $87.13 charge to my credit card which i did not authorize. My cc holder called me about the charge and asked me if I had authorized this charge and I said no. The credit card company closed my acct and reissued another card with a different number, but guess what? I was still charged the 87.13 and have no way to remedy the situation as I don't have the old card number and FWM labs tell me that they don't have a charge to my new cc no.
Brother, I guess as the POstal Service says, If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

i have not received any products but have billed my credit 4 charges of $87.13 each totalling $348.52
i have spoken to the credit card company and they are taking the charges off i have been on the phone
for over 45 minutes at a time and nobody answers i have been call for the last two weeks. what do i do now.

I cancelled my account as of Aug 13, 2009 and I keep getting shipments from this company. I have tried using the phone to talk to someone and get nowhere. I can't get into their website to keep cancelling these shipments. I don't know what else to do except to keep sending these packages back, unopened.

ordered a free trial 03/24/09 it came 04/09/09 i was charged 87.19 for not cancelling the order within 14 days but the product came 2 days after the trial offer expired i acutually called these idiots on the 14th day and they still charged me this company has very bad buisiness ethics

Spoke with credit card company and when you sign up for the free trail they sign you up for 4 differnet companies without knowing it. This is legal they said because you signed the contract. Let every one you know know this so that they do not sign up for this company especially over the internet.

Ex-employee is right. Firewater Media, the lead generation network has nothing to do with FWM Labs. That company was started By Brian Weiss, and is run out of Florida. Their customer service line is: [protected]

The complaints you guys have are against FWM Labs, not Firewater Media. They are two different companies.

I am on this site because I previously worked for FWM before and it was brought to my attention by my new job about all the complaints . I was curious so I started reading all these posts and comments . First off, yes the customer service center was lacking in alot of ways but mostly because of overwhelming amounts of calls . The main complaint that I have read is everyone saying that their money was stolen from their accounts and they didnt authorize charges . This company is the same as any other company that has terms and conditions of free offers or oney back guarantee . Actually most gyms or insurance companies etc, have charges until you cancel . Most people never called and cancelled and were charged automatically as any other company would under a recurring payment system . If you dont call your insurance co. and cancel if you have a automatic withdrawal setup, they will do the same thing .Most people sent back the package " return to sender ' thinking that was it and they deserved their refund . Not so, the call center and web site stated all the terms and conditions and unfortunately some people did not have a good experience from this company . With the overwhelming amount of accounts that were not cancelled properly and angry phone calls from people who thought they should get their money back cancelled properly or not, some people who did do the things the right way suffered . The BBB investigated all the time but understood the terms and conditions system so thats why the company never got in trouble . The company is not perfectly run but is not run fraudulently and it continues to sell products and thrive. If you look at all the thousands of companies who offer deals on things, they will have terms and conditions that need to be read and understood . They didnt get your credit card number out of the yellow pages . I had people tell me they never called the company before and someone stole their credit card . Meanwhile we have their full name, address, email acct etc . The company is at fault for some things but the consumers are at fault also.

This is a very poor company who is into scamming people. I too found out that their free sample is not free. When you call them they will claim that they cannot find your account. They gave me at 4 different names and towns for the same address and there is no such thing as a supervisor. If you say that you are going to contact your credit card company or a lawyer they say go right ahead.

Many companies post deceitful claims to attract consumers on buying their products. I also committed the same mistake before. But I was able to fix it after I called fwm at this no. [protected]. I put a lot of effort canceling my account but it was worth it.

Call [protected]. I'm working on helping other victims of this company. I subscribed to these pills after seeing false advertisements online. Too bad it didn't work for me but I still paid for it. I want other people to be able to fix their financial problems.

Based on the background I made about fwm, this company is really based in Florida. With regards to the help line. It's [protected]. Unlike what you mentioned on your report which is incorrect.

OH YEA. I am having an issue with them also. I have called and spoken to a few women and 1 man because on my bank statement it comes up as a different name each month with a different number. The first lady told me the proper name (which does not appear on any of the statements nor the free trial). I informed her that it is a different name each month and she sais "oh yea, we are aware that some fraudeulant companys have accessed their files and their lawyers are looking into it". Yet she also confirms they are the ones receiving the payments. huh? The stupid co also charges the acct 4-5 different times for varying amounts (including $0.02) to total around $87.00. I have not received any of the packages (save the free trial) and yet they are still taking money and having problems refunding my money. I am not sure if it worked because while taking the free trial pills I did lose weight but I was also eating way to good for a person to be happy. lol Also I had horrible abdominal pain and i do not chalk it up to having my system cleansed. If you want to try it I recomend a food and drug or holistic store where you can physically get it yourself from a shelf.

fwm labs is owned and operated by brian weiss of Hollywood Florida. He has a a few other companies and is commintting fraud. Is you have had dealings with FWM labs I suggest you contact the Florida State Attorney's office for a legal remedy.

The mistake of consumers always fall on the fact that they didn't cancel within the 14 day trial period.The good thing about your situation was that your cc company informed you about the unauthorized charges right away. To prevent things from getting out of hand, call [protected] and tell the representative from FWM that you want whatever subscription with them to be canceled.
