Futureshop Laptop Program / Misinformation by employee causing return issue..

i have a macbook pro laptop very recently purchased at futureshop ..i was having some touble with it so i returned to futureshop for advice ..the salesman determined that i needed a antivirus program to fix it ..the initial program i was adviced of was 60$ .i returned to the store again to inquire on it ..i was then told that a better program for just over 100$ was what i needed..somewhat confused i was a little hesitant on the change of plan ..but the salesman assured me i could return it no problem if it was not what i needed ..so i purchased the 100$ item and went home ..i did a little research at home and determined i did not need it after all ..so i brought it back to the store to return it ...i was swiftly told at customer service that i could not return the item ..taken aback by this as well as a little upset i tracked down the salesman to get it straightened out ..long story short the customer service and salesman had dome confusion between themselves and after much fuss i was given an instore credit ...unacceptable ..i drive 120 km roundtrip to futureshop multiple times ..i was mislead by the staff innocent or not is not my problem ..i want my money back as i gave it in good faith ..ty
