Frontier Communications frontier phone service, inwood, wv 25428

I called Frontier repair service to report, on behalf of a friend, an outage since June 25th. My friend cannot call because they have no phone service. They do not have cell phones. This outage has occurred more than once. I was told that the repair ticket was opened yesterday and that they could not expect a repair until July 24th. This is not true. It was reported on June 25th. Frontier. has no record. I told the rep that I felt Frontier owed them some sort of compensation. She said they would get credit for the outage days. That's not good enough. They need to have a means of communication in the meantime. I suggested that a repair tech could be expedited from another area. She said no. I suggested that Frontier should pay for them to have cell phones until their phone service was restored. She said no. What are they supposed to do? Their landline is their source of communication. Frontier is supposed to provide that service. They are not doing so. There has to be an answer other than NO. I do not intend to give up on this.

Frontier Communications termination billing policies

My latest promotion was due to expire on June 20. 2018...about two months prior I called and was told too early to discuss. I then called about 3 weeks prior and was given a quote of a new promotion. I was told no contract with new promo. I informed them I would think about it. I called back on June 20 to try again for a new promotion. Was given a higher rate and told would involve a one year contract. I verified that my promotion would end that day and informed I would call back to accept or terminate. I was given no further info. I got a much better deal with Spectrum. They were out today June 23 and installed our new internet and phone. Great customer service and replaced some TV remotes. I called Frontier to terminate my service. I was told I could not terminate until June 25. Not happy, but said can you tell me how much I will owe final bill. I was informed that Frontier will not prorate their final bill. I am so angry. My service date begins on 18th. So had I terminated on 20th, they would have billed me a full bill for two days. As it is, I will be billed around $80 for 6 days of service. I will pay Spectrum $86 for TV with extras, internet and phone. This does not seem legal to me and in any case immoral.

Frontier Communications general business

Last Month in May 2018, Frontier Communications sale men drove the pickup and the truck in white look like Edition Electric Co in Southern California.
First time 2 men shown up knocked at my front door, they in top yellow vest tells me that they come to adjust the electrical at my corner back yard and shown me the computer print with the number poll and Edison Co. on the paper; of course I
did not see that clear the whole paper in their hands. I let them come to back yard to look at the elect. poll... after few words exchange about some problems, they left and will come back to do the job next time. After they left, that evening I heard on the TV news warming happen last couple weeks about the troubles and warning the people these are some electric company frauds and fakes to cheat the people likes the phone calls, threat to cut off power if the person do not pay the bill soon, etc... also the elect. co. get to the elect. lines to listen the phone calls, the computer lines to be hack, scamp and tv mess-up screen... etc. So the most company shown-up get in the business contracts with those problems...
***2nd time about 2 weeks so, another 2 men (different) come to my door knock again.
This time I open door to say NO in firm voice. They left.
***3rd time a week later, another 2 men no vest, very casual cloth...knocked my door long long time about 40 minute, I could not get to the door long 27 minutes,
I thought they leave (but I did not expect Frontier again after two times shown up).
Soon I come to the door about 37 minutes, I saw the white truck pick-up park right front my door, 2 men jump out approached to me demanded to let them do their works at the electric poll at my back yard. I started up-set that I do not expect the men from Frontier come again to bother me without any respect for NO mean...
Their poor manner aggressive tell me that they followed The Edison Elect. Co.
come to repair the electrical and they need to get to the poll at my back yard...
I response to them that I called twice and talk to Edison Co. response to my questions about to sent out the men to do the job at the poll in my neighborhood...
The Edison tells me NO after their checked the records, also tell me be careful to let those people get on/in my property. I also talk to the police men drove around the neighbors 2 times questioning about the right/wrong about Frontier keep sent the men come to bother me "solicits" sales without any respect even yes or no...
The police man tells me call Edition Co. first before let anyone come on my property. Those Frontier Comm. men start aggressive praised their voice to demand me that they must get their works done for Edison Elect. Co.
Back and force, I replied to them that Edison tells me no one sent out by them and the paper their shown me that anyone can print out from the computer or even the police uniform doesn't mean correct person work for the police station. The men start yelled at me and threat to call the police that I denied them to do their jobs to fix the electrical at my back yard, but I said the poll belong to the neighbor next door to my property, I cannot let anyone come to my property lump over the lock wall to their back yard, it against the law and the owner can sues me... etc...
They still argument with me it seem doesn't matter anymore, I shaken up and feel very up-set what their said and tell me they have all the right to get on my property without I agree or not. I tell them that they have right to call the police come but
I already called 911, the police come anytime from now, the men can leave or wait that up to them...but I still denied for them to get on/in my property.. Moment the police man shown up and listen both side party problems, the office tells them in his professional voice that he can not force me (owner) to let anyone get on/in her own property, the Frontier men must leave... My God, peace again after all, I think.
But about couple days, on one of Monday, I worked in my front yard, a white van drove up stop to next neighbor front street, open the back trunk door, he stated pull the tools out, I stand up look closer, he saw me, then he put back things and closed to drive away... about an half hour, his van stop at same spot again but when he saw me still stand look at him in my front yard, he drove off...
By now, I knew Frontier Comm. despairing to do the business to get the customers
any chance if they can... By now, my TV mess-up NO picture, NO program even normal channels NO need cable or dish or whatever... cause Frontier got what they want for their business, even after 911 phone called, no use to them.
I am very up set the whole situation, it never been before. When hundred times, solicit say Yes/No that mean to be respect whatever as it. But Frontier Comm.
NO professional, NO respect, liar, fake and fraud any types to get their in the business. It takes all the Gut for them to do their business even against the law,
harassment, abuse elder, insulting, humiliation, nothing to stop them. I learn this awful matter first time my life time almost 70 ages.
I try my best to write this story about Frontier Communications action that I could not forget on my own, cause angina stressful.
Please correct what you have in this complaint and I greatly appreciate your times.
Your kindness to shown this in the public.

Latterly, some of my neighbors tell me that they had have some troubles with Frontier Comm. too and some of them quit to Frontier services. Or they change to another company. Do Frontier know they wrong? Do they change for better to honest in services to the people in general?. Do they learn how to be better manner, attitude respect in the business with the human being/the people?. Success are not too far to be if they know how...

Frontier Communications customer service/billing

I have multiple complaints. the latest is that we discontinued service for the tv and phone and went to internet only. 1. had to call for a week, multiple times a day 2. was being hung up on, redirected, told they couldn't get into my account, etc. 3. Finally on the 30th of april on my 8th call/transfer, etc. I was told that he couldn't get into my account, etc. I told him, this is my eight phone call today. Get into my account or not, I am cancelling as of today. And I will not pay for May for tv and phone. (still wanted internet) He was then magically able to get into my account ad said, because of what I had been through to cancel it- even though the order would go out in May he would waive all charges for tv and phone. 4. May bill gets here and I am billed for all three services 5. I call and am told that she can see those notes and that it takes a billing cycle to get it figured out- so i paid 65. for the internet and waited for the next bill. 6. Next bill came, still being charged for all three services plus the difference between the 65. and the total billed. 7. Called again- told that I was responsible for the total May bill since it tv and phone was turned off May 2nd. and now she couldn't find the notes the last person in May found and said there wasn't anything in the notes about waiving the charges for May and too bad there was nothing she could do. IF I had been told that when I canceled the service I would have changed the cut off date to the end of May and enjoyed tv service for one more month. But since I was assured that there would be no charge for the tv and phone- I did not do that. Every time I call your customer service I get told a lie and I a sick of it. I am going to cancel the internet- no matter how good your product is bad customer service in which you are lied to, tricked and manipulated isn't worth it. All of my conversations are on tape- listen to them and you will hear the lies.

Frontier Communications internet

I pay for 6gb data download and 98% of the time don't even get one. That's wrong when a person pays $90 a month for it. It's cheating the customer and because of the slow speeds and disconnects due to high traffic I have been wrote up at my job and am on the verge of losing my job. I have called time and again and nothing is done. I refuse to sit by and be cheated out of what I pay for anymore. Then your reps tell me that's the best service you can give me for my area but when I created an alternate account it offered me a cheaper and way better plan. I'm done. It's time to bring it to the publics attention. I am going to speak with an attorney tomorrow.

Frontier Communications internet service

I applied for their internet service for my home here in Franklin, NC and am in limbo. I was told they were going to install and even giving a date and time. The tech never showed. I called and was told they were on the way 3 times. Never came. Tried to schedule a second install and was unsuccessful. Now the third time I was finally given a straightforward answer. The area is over-saturated with customers so to provide the existing customers the best speeds, I had to be wait listed. Now they are the only provider in this area and I seriously want wireless internet. I have no idea where to go from here but I am very disappointed in the company. I'm a potential customer with nowhere to go and a company that can't service me.

Frontier Communications their drivers

Today at approximately 12:00 noon I was driving on Route Southbound toward the New Britain, CT town line...I was almost passed by a Frontier truck who pulled up to the left of me at the traffic light at end of exit for E. Main in New Britain. I was in the right lane stopped on the red light. My intent was to make my right hand turn, HOWEVER the Frontier truck on left of me blocks my view and decides to cut me off and take a right hand turn from the left hand lane!

Frontier Communications phone

My phone has been out of service or working badly since hurricane irma in august. I've tried calling numerous times after hang ups and long wait times was told a service person would come yesterday. I waited all day and no one came and no call. I recalled and after more hang ups long wait times I was told maybe someone would come today. Frontier in the padt has been terrible and remains worst communications company in the us.

Frontier Communications tv on demand free/premium movies

Up until three days ago I was able to watch, because I pay for on-demand movies, any movies under free in premium which included HBO Showtime AT up until three days ago I was able to watch, because I pay for on demand movies, any movies under free and premium which included HBO Showtime ert. I called front tier last night spent an hour and a half on the phone with their technical support they told me yes I am paying for the on-demand but they do not understand why I am not seeing the channels so he made up a ticket. I called today because I am frustrated that I cannot watch movies they tell me I was audited and should not of been being able to watch those movies if I was not subscribing to the channels. I told him that is wrong I am subscribing to the on demand movies. I went round and round with a customer service rep and a supervisor about this. This is extremely poor Business practice. They told me I have been getting this service for free. Made me feel like I was stealing when in fact on my bill I pay for on-demand services! I have filed a complaint with the commission FCC, and wrote a letter to the president of frontier communications. If this issue is not resolved shortly I will totally dumped frontier. What I am paying a month it is not work when I am getting now. Looks like I'll be going to Spectrum, like 3/4 of the people in my condo complex have swapped to. Get this right front tier or you lose another customer and many more after that once you do to them what you've done to me.

Frontier Communications unauthorized rate change and package change

I had a 2 year contract with Frontier which ended in May 2018.
I received an email from them at the end of April stating that I would no longer be receiving Showtime in the package I signed up for. When I called they stated that it is no longer offered in my package and if I wanted it, it would cost extra.

So I cancelled. I had it for 1 week in May. I called to find out what my final bill would be and was told that I would have to pay for the full month as stated on my bill. I advised them that it is not stated on my bill. Very rudely they said that they were looking at my bill and it is stated. They emailed me a copy and told me that there was nothing I could do. I would have to pay for the full month.

The bill they emailed me and the one I receive monthly in the mail are very different. I did not agree to pay for the entire month. I did not agree to an increase in the rate. I cancelled after my 2 year agreement was up. You changed my terms and my package and expect me to pay for it. I would like a revised bill reflecting the 1 week I had service, with no increase.

Frontier Communications over billing for equipment charges

Frontier has charged me for "missing equipment" they set up service at my house and charged me for months for a receiver that I never had and they never had a number or service for. I got a credit and a few months later I was billed for missing equipment.

The person who did the credit returned the mystery receiver but didn't do the paperwork correctly. I have spent months fighting with Frontier - they agree with me each time I am on the phone with them - tell me that they are making "notes to my file" and the credit should show in a couple of weeks.

2 weeks later I call back - told "still in process". 2 weeks later I call back "yes we see the notes just wait a couple weeks more". Now I keep getting late charges, phone calls and notices that they are going to terminate service.
Now I am calling, yet again, spending hours on phone calls and wait times to make "more notes".

I have no idea how to resolve this.

Frontier Communications connection service for house

Connection service . In my house I have connected on and make the contract on April 25, 2018 I have been waiting for two weeks to get connection and they have not to schedule my connection until June 1 more than a month this is not a septa bull for the company like this communication is disappointing to have a situation like this I've been contact customer service technical support and other people Seems to me like this people only throwing the ball each other This company is taking too much time to connect my service besides that I already got my bill generated and sent it to my address demand and $35 for the month for paying for the service of Internet which is I don't have this is unacceptable

Frontier Communications landline phone

We live away from town and have a substation with backup batteries which were not maintained with the previous phone provider, electrical power outage-no phone service. When Frontier took over these were maintained and the phone always worked unless a line was down. Not anymore. No other choice for Internet except through the phone line and if we drop the phone service and keep only the Internet our bill goes up-a lot! Pay more for less.
Our bill has had a rate increase so now we pay more for less maintenance on their part.

Frontier Communications removing local line that keeps dialing police thru frontier

This is the terrible tale of how Frontier Communications treated me as a customer when the problem was with the line they had installed to my house for my phone.

I had contacted Frontier to bundle my services so that I could save money (I am 74 and living on my limited Social Security). They told me at that time they could bundle my services Phone, Internet and TV for a total of $179.00. So I told them to go ahead and do it. First of all it took them over three weeks and a couple of cancellations to finally get it installed and when they finally did get here to make the installation they came unannounced, saying they had tried to call but got no answer, said they did not have my cell phone number which I had given them as my main contact. (Da, why send someone then). I was fortunately home and had them go ahead and make the installation (should have know better then already) OK they got it installed, but shortly thereafter my local line supposedly kept sending a 911 signal to the police. I called Frontier sometimes up to three times a day to let them know that the police were calling me and showing up at my door because they were getting a 911 call supposedly from my address. Quite a few times it was 11:00 at night (scared me to death having the police bang on my door that time of night). Every time I called them they told me that they had it fixed, it was something in the old switch they had taken over from Verizon or so they told me.

Then I got my first bill from them and it is NOT what they had quoted me of the $179.00 but a whopping $247.98 When I called them about that they said they were going to fix it but couldn't waive what they had already billed me in error. And of course that is not fixed yet either. Said there were notes in the file but that nothing had been done and they couldn't credit me for what they had billed in error. WHAT IS THAT?

Finally I told them to disconnect the line so that it stops sending a 911 signal to the police. They said they would (but I found out later they hadn't schedule it until the very of of this month APRIL 30, so that they would get a full billing cycle from me) On the 10th of this month I arrived home from grocery shopping to find a policeman in my yard looking for me the owner because they had gotten another 911 call. And the police got another 911 call on the 11th at 8:53AM. I called Frontier AGAIN and told them to get that line disconnected NOW. You know what they told me - they were going to have to increase the charges on my other two services to make up for the loss of income.

This is the most unethical company I have ever had to deal with. They never do what they say they are going to do and charge you more that what is quoted. They never acknowledge their errors and don't fix what they say they are going to fix.

AND TO LET YOU KNOW, THIS IS GOING OUT TO TWITTER, FACEBOOK AND THE MEDIA IN 24 HOURS IF MY ACCOUNT IS NOT CREDITED AND THE PROBLEMS FIXED.

I want to add a comment to this post. It is true what she is saying about frontier. I live in a apartment complex that I have not selection to my internet service but frontier or I go with out internet. I am 60 years old and unfortunately I have to work to full time jobs to live. My morning job I go into work at 6am and get off at 2pm. my second full time job I go in at 3pm and get off a 1130pm. I work this schedule Tuesday through Saturday. I enjoy my sling TV on my day off which is Sunday because my other day off which is Monday I spend seeing My daughter and grandchildren. I work at Purdue University my 3 to 11:30 shift. It is hard to get a cell phone single at the University due to all the concert buildings and the location. This is Purdue territory and they do not allow towers on the priority. You have to use the nearest towers which some are not that close and depending who your carrier might be. I would always call customer service and pay my bill talking to a representative and paid my bill over the phone to assure it was paid. Yes they would charge a fee of 3.50 to do so. well, a month ago March of 2018 they decided to charge Indiana customer 10.00 dollars to pay with a representative. I can not believe a company taking money from people like Frontier does. 10.00 dollars to pay your bill over the phone with a talking live person. I had called and explained many times that at my first job I can not have my cell phone and there is not a computer I can use to do personal business. Than when I get to my Job at Purdue I am unable to pay on the automotive system it will not work due to no single. Because I refuse to pay the 10.00 dollars they started to disconnect my service until I paid the 10.00 dollars. When I ask to speak to a supervisor about the issue he was rude said I had to pay the service fee of 10.00. No they would not reconnect me.. He said here is your options created a profile on the internet and pay your bill. I will note your account we will restore your service. I went to my office at Purdue did just that and when I called to have my service restore the person in customer care said it will be five days before we restore your service. Now I paid my bill and have to wait 5 days.. When I became argue with her she said why pay it again over the phone with me I will restore your service but you will have to pay the 10.00 service charge to do so. I ended up paying my bill again over the phone paying the 10.00 service charge. How could companies get away with stealing from people. I too will post this on twitter and Facebook.

Frontier Communications customer service it all starts at the top! all bs!

They are the worst cable company in the united states of America! My account was closed by me personally calling in and scheduled the disconnect. Boxes were sent out to my home so we can pack the equipment up to send back to the company, which was sent exactly five days later which was Oct 22, 2017. They full received the equipment and the company verfied my account was disconnected on Oct 17, 2017. Well guess what they can't and don't know how to track those boxes they send you for return their equipment. Good thing I keep my receipt from the post office! Get this I have been sent to collection from a Credit Control Company saying I owe for Nov and Dec and cancelation fee totaling $410.90 when my highest bill per month was 150.00 month. Frontier won't talk to you because its in collection and the debit collector doesn't care? How do you fight a lying, sick, disgusting corporation! The whole reason for me leaving for six months because I was transferred to take care of my father before he passed and served 40 years of service to this country and we have to deal with this sick [censor]! Don't ever order or buy from Frontier ever!

Frontier Communications telephone service / no service, but insists on charging me anyway

Stemming from the take over from Verizon two years ago, my life has not been the same since Frontier has taken over.

Off and on my persistent problem with Frontier is daily contacts and promises unkept in terms of handling service issues. Currently I have been without voice service for a month and 1/2. It began with my having a dial tone, but no ability to receive or call out. I have two lines - one dedicated as a fax line and the other as voice. However, neither are working and they are now refusing to restore service until I pay for service I have not received. Somehow Frontier created two separate accounts and now wants to all of sudden charge me for two accounts and shut my service off. Now I have no phone service on either line.

When Verizon ported service to Frontier all reputable service was lost. Unfortunately, I purchased movies using Verizon as well as Frontier, otherwise I would leave them immediately.

Patience and persistence on my part has not gotten me anywhere. I am beyond frustrated.

Frontier Communications internet cable service

2-17 purchased internet cable package for 90. For two year agreement to include modem, screen etc. Each month I had to contact them because bill was not correct. I call every month and received monthly credits up to 30-40 plus dollars every month for the past year. Last month I was told I should have never gotten the agreement I agreed to and that they cannot honor that plan or give me credits any longer. So angry I had an agreement that they say the can no longer honor? How is that legal. Anyway3/26/18 I decided to reduce my plan so called back and was told I could have a package for 65 moth as advertised. Told it would take effect immed and I would immediately not have access to channels on my old plan. Ok though all was good. However when I got bill again today. It was agai. Not the correct amount I was quoted. I called and was told again oh sorry that wasn't a plan you were eligible for... that I was told wrong by the representative. However they show I now have the lesser channels, but still paying higher price. What is wrong, how can they keep saying they won't honor an agreement...

Frontier Communications telephone and internet

I've had frontier for 15 years or more. I've called them about my phone making loud noises and can't hear on it my INTERNET won't work half the time. and I pay 87.00 a month for phone an Internet can't use either half the time this company has went down hill. their is trees on lines that I no has been like that for over a year still they do nothing it's something last [censored] people won't fix our services but still want that bill played every month

In December 2017 our 8 year old Router provided by Verizon stopped working. We were told by Frontier customer service that it was obsolete and couldn't be fixed and that we would receive a new Frontier router. Frontier Communications billing problem, horrible customer support customer support,

On Dec 27th, 2017 we phoned Frontier Communications and cancelled our internet and cable services but elected to keep our phone service. after an extensive amount of time waiting to speak to a Customer Service Rep we were told that we because we were 5 days into the payment cycle (amount $269.23 for the period of Dec 22nd to Jan 21st ), we had to pay a partial payment of $ 58.84 and that amount included the phone bill. At that time we also was informed that they would be sending out boxes for us to use to return their equipment. After a week waiting, the boxes never arrived so we decided it was in our best interest to take all the equipment and deliver it to one of Verizon/Frontier locations in New Port Richey FL., 9409 US Highway North. We have a receipt to prove the returned equipment on Jan 8th, 2017. A short time after, we received a new bill of $269.23 that showed the payment of $58.84 we were told to pay by the Customer Service Rep. We then received another bill of 269.23 for the period of 1/22/18- 2/21/18. Trying to understand of this new charge, I called Customer Service again and after another extensive long wait I finally got in touch with another Customer Service Rep. At that time the Rep acknowledged they were notified of the cancellation on December 27th, 2017 and have a record of that activity as well as a record of receipt for the equipment we returned. After the Customer Service rep did some calculations I was informed we owe $ 115.87. Although I did not fully understanding the reason for the amount of $115.84 quoted by the rep, I felt it would be best to pay it and but to put this billing situation to bed and promptly sent out the $115.84 payment January 3rd, 2018 . Additionally, I documented on the check the words " Payment in Full" and included copies of all the documentation and receipt of the returned equipment with the check., indicating that was the final amount for any outstanding balance for cable and internet quoted by the Customer Service rep. Sometime later we received a notice of Account Past Due for $235. Help me understand why I have to pay for a service that was officially canceled in December 27, 2017 and have the adjusted payments based of the information provided by the 2 different Customer Service reps. I was informed yesterday, Our phone service has been cancelled and we were informed we were given to collections. At this point I don't care how much it will cost me but I am obtaining legal services and will attempt to sue your organization. I have also contacted the local news station advocacy contacts.

Frontier is the WORST! I thought Sprint was years ago but they have them beat! My husband is on the phone with them now but he wont switch! We have to call every month to adjust our bill to correct charges that are incorrect. How can they get away with this?

Wow, exactly same problem (different dollar amounts). Canceled in December prior to the month's expiration. Received a service bill for January for $176. Long wait times to talk to customer service assured me to wait for final accounting (3 months after I cancel the service). Well today received a collection notice for $176 for what with no explanation. Guess this is the norm for this company. What a deceptive practice to cheat customers.
