Frito Lay Manufacturing failure

Feb.7.2022

Bought a 2 3/4 oz bad of Doritos cool ranch and I received upon opening 2 chips ,crumbs and a 2.514 oz chunk of seasoning “I Hope” in a triangular shape.

It smells very bad and stings your fingers and nose to the touch and smell.

This has happened before but not to this extent.

I have all but decided to no longer eat or purchase any product from frito lay in the future,it is simply not worth the risk because I don’t know what all chemicals etc that could slip past manufacturing if something this large and heavy is able to.

Desired outcome: An apology and more strict quality control most importantly, compensation or refund would be appreciated but the money is less problem than the sheer disgust and potential poisoning from glues etc.

My husband works for Frito Lay Inc in Milford CT. He has 29 1/2 years with the company. The company changed their pay structure in March of 2021. The company no longer pays commission or overtime. My husbands pay went from about $1, 200 a week take home to $800 a week. How can they get away with this? We need someone from the labor department to check into...

Frito Lay False advertisement

Frito Lay makes a product called All Natural Bean Dip. This product is the polar opposite of "natural". Natural means to be simple and unaffected, however Frito Lay has manufactured this product made with MALTODEXTRIN and labeled it natural. When in actuality Maltodextrin is composed of a mixture of step growth polymers that in actuallity are synthetic glycoside bonds that vary from three to nineteen glucose units that bond various carbohydrates such as anions and sweets together. This ingredient is used to enhance the volume of the product (like yeast)& is also used in animal feed. This is clearly about mass production and not quality. It is usery and false advertisement. Stop lying and say what it is. Stop insulting our intelligence and allow the consumer to decide if they want to put poison in their body.

Frito Lay Awful taste

My wife and I have bought your products (potato chips) for years, but lately the quality as deminished considerably. In the past 2-3 months they

taste like the oil they were cooked in was old and the chips had a bad taste to them.

My wife has sworn off your chips until this is corrected. As of now she insists on buying potato sticks or fritos corn chips. I have tried to convince her that this is a rare thing and she should not decide on just a few bags of chips, aqnd after you get this message you will make corrections in making your product.

Frito Lay Innapropriate Doritos commercial

To whom it may concern,

The purpose of this email, and I hope I have reached out to the proper department, is to express my anger and frustration about a recent Doritos commercial titled "flinch". It features 2 adult men slapping each other back and forth to see who flinches first. Thanks to this commercial my 2 sons, ages 4 and 5, now go around slapping one another and also any other kids that they are playing with. I have told them that it is inappropriate and can hurt people however they still both reference your commercial when explaining why they do it and how they think it's "funny". In no way do I find this commercial funny or appropriate. As I continue to parent my boys and teach them that this is WRONG behavior, I would appreciate a prompt and genuine response. Thank you for your time and prompt consideration in this matter.

I agree. And to further note ... the latest add with the guy who rips the pants from a man who wipes his cheesy doritos fingers with to sniff and lick or the man who has nothing left in the bag so the guy grabs the mans finger and sucks on it? Have you run out of ideas that would make someone laugh? this has only made me wanna hurl and the thought of the commercial will be hard to bare if I ever lay my hands on a Dorito in the future. I especially won't after that.

Sincerely, GROSSED OUT

I agree that TV & movies are very irresponsible at times! I never would have believed that I would be saying this when I was younger. But, without regard to what anybody says one way or the other, I stand in my firm resolution that they promote irresponsible behavior because it sells the story!

No one is going to care that your children are abusive towards each other and people around them. Anyway Doritos are far more important than a couple of stupid kids. Let them be brats, maybe you should also hit them the right way and have them learn their lesson. :P
