Frigidaire refridgerator

I have been waiting over a month to get a new refrigerator and all I ever hear is 72 hours. I am personal getting tired of the run around. I think they have the worst customer service ever and are no help at all. I think they should have to pay me for my food spoilage and all the fast food we have to buy. They suck I truly recommend to NEVER BY FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCTS...

I had Purchased a double door 230 ltr electrolux kelvinator refrigerator Model: EKL- 235FF, SL No. [protected] on Dated 07.03.2005. It is not getting proper cooling in lower part of the fridge from 01.08.2008 to till date, upper part is ok. The shop which I purchased the fridge is Shri sidh sons, Kanpur, U.P. Now the shop has been shifted from the old place and not getting any complaint number. Kindly do the Necessary arrangements for maintenance of my fridge and give me the complaint cell No. with full address near Kanpur/Etawah/Auraiya.

Dear Sir,
I have lodge a complain on 12-13 days a ago (referance no 6k002080816003). One engineer has come after 2 days from the complain date and assure us that he will attend with 2-3 days and inform us that we have to pay Rs 1600 (problem is with compresure). After that nobody bother to visit my house.
For your further information our Refrigerator is under 5 yrs warrenty for compresure.

Frigidaire pathetic after sale service!

I own an Electrolux washy talky washing machine. I was so impressed by the product that when I needed a micro wave I remained loyal to electrolux product only. recommended the same to a lot of friends too.

But when I needed an after sale service for my washing machine I got the shock of my life. I couldn't even imagine that a company with such a high image and market holding will fail miserably to provide after sale service.

Now, the most horrible part is that I pay proper service charges to the company a cost not less in any manner and that's Rs. 280 for one visit of the so called engineers, even if it is a minor problem like only fixing a loose wire, my problem is fixed only temporarily. The engineer shows me worn out parts, tries to communicate that why don't I deal with him straight it will cost me less and obviously I"ll have all his commitments towards me. If I request him that I like to stick to the moral paths only then he turns his face towards his partner and makes fun of me.

I want to ask the company - are they sleeping over such matters or if after sale service is not important at all for the company?

IF FIRST IS THE CASE THEN i WOULD ADVISE THE COMPANY THAT ITS HIGH TIME THEY WAKE UP. AND IF SECOND IS THE CASE THEN PLEASE START COUNTING YOUR DAYS. BECAUSE IT IS ONLY THE AFTER SALE SERVICE PEOPLE WHO MAKE OR CREATE ANY COMPANY.

As for me I have decided never ever to buy any electrolux product and I advise the same to others.

Frigidaire pain in the neck

I have a Frigidaire Refrigerator and the ice maker is not functioning properly, I have called Massena Appliances numerous times, whenever you call you have to leave a message, on one answers your call, you have to be very fortunate for someone to answer you. A technician came and looked at it promising when they receive the parts they will call me and schedule a day to have my icemaker repaired or replace that was November 2006 we are almost in November of 2007 and no one has called. I paid my renewal contract for 2007 they have sent another renewal form for 2008. (What a shame) Can someone please help me, I am very dissatisfied with the service from the Frigidaire Company and I would not recommend Frigidaire product to anyone. I am not saying the product is not good, I am saying when you need your appliance repaired it a pain in the neck. Thank you.

Frigidaire poor service!

I purchased an AC of electrolux but i feel/know that i have been given an inferior product. There was a sound in the fan, when it was pointed out to the service center/engineer, they did not bother to check it & were more interested in going back to office. E-mail sent to their HO thru their website did not elicit any response. They have therefore cheated the customer & loss of trust.

I have purchased a microwave oven of electrolux from Big Bazaar of Bilaspur (c.g.) last year. After only one year its push buttons were closed to work. for which i have registered a complaint at customer care an dafter 3 days a service engineer came and said that membrain of oven is damaged. so it will have to replaced. He took rs. 270 for his visit. After that about 4 months have passed but no response from him till date. On phone he says memrain is not providing by company till date. Hence i request to all to think twice before purchasing any product of Electrlux.

I bought a electrolux fridge 265L, double door, about 5 years ago and the performance has been nothing more than ordinary, keeping in mind the international brand image.In 2007, i complained about the poor performance which didnt lead anywhere as the company' service man confirmed that everything is fine with the fridge.in jan08, the timer and sensor were replaced for a price of Rs 2181.00. Again in aug08, the gas had to be filled in at a cost of rs 1650.00.
now in oct08, the fridge stopped cooling in the lower portion.I complained on 28 th oct vide complaint number 5a0360810280016 and after so many follow ups with the call centre, the service came on 1.11.08. The problem is again ( within 9 months)the timer and sensor which need to be replaced again at a price of Rs 2280.00.
Am totally disgusted with the product and the poor quality after sales service being provided by the company.

I just bought (25/10/2008) an electrolux microwave oven Model No. EM25EC86SL but I could not find this product in your home appliance microwave category. I basically want to know whether this product belongs to your company or a local made with the name of Electrolux.

I wanted to purchase microwave convention but the shop keeper had told me that above said product is mcirowave convention but I could not find this anywhere in the product.

Could you please look into this matter and reply to me as quickly as possible.

Sir,

I had purchased the Electrolux Refrigerator (Model: EDR 230 LX) from AARCO ELECTRONIKS, Jagdambay Niwas Central Market, II-I-3, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi-110024 on 21.6.2008.

Right from the date of its purchase, it was noticed that there are lots of problems with the Electrolux Refrigerator i.e. Cooling problem(Gas Leakage/Chowked), Thermostat problem, Defrosting problem, Rubber-Gasket problem, current leakage and now there are some problem with the Compressor too. I have lodged so many complaints with your service centre at M/s Tek Care (Customer Care Help Line) i.e. on 25.6.2008, 30.6.2008, 4.7.2008, 15.7.2008, 7.8.2008, 14.8.2008, 28.8.2008, 2.9.2008 and now on 11.9.2008 Service Engineer has informed about problems of Compressor. The brand new Refrigerator of your reputed company has been repaired 8 times within a short span of two and half months and the problem is increasing day by day. Now I am fed up with this defective Refrigerator of your reputed company.

As the Electrolux Refrigerator (Model: EDR 230 LX) is still under warranty and is causing unnecessary inconvenience to me due to manufacturing defect, It is, therefore, requested to please replace this defective Electrolux Refrigerator (Model: EDR 230 LX) at the earliest.

I hope you will attend to this complaint on priority basis and do the needful at the earliest.

I had booked the product as on 25/12/2007. as the product was not at shop, the shopkeeper talked to the Sales executive of your Company regarding the availability of the product. Your representative
assured that the product will be delivered to you within a week time.
But after several reminders to the Agency as well as to your Sales
executive, I received the product as on 18/01/2008. When I brought
that product to Sipat, 25km from Bilaspur and a representative of the
shopkeeper came for demonstration, she said that the oven is not getting proper hit, as she made a cake and it took half an hour
but She told that she will ask the Service engineer to come and see
that fault. The engineer came to our residence at Sipat and after
inspection he also assured that the coil is not getting proper hit and
this coil/ accessories is to be replaced. He assured that I will come
with the accessories and replace it. After a week, when not turned up
then I brought the Oven to Service centre and given all the details.
When I went there to take my oven, they said that there is no need of
replacement of any accessories and they given me the Oven.

After my several request that the engineer has said that there is problem, they have not entertained me. When I took the oven again to
Sipat, there is still the same problem. Again after my several
request Your Service Engineer came and said the same, what he had said
earlier that there is a problem of hitting and needs to be replaced.
He said I will come with the accessories and replace it.

This is continuous story of more then 7 months. Please advice me,
if a person buy a product of a reputed Company, like ELECTROUX, and
face a problem as I described above, what will be the impression of
the product, sales service and Company as a whole.

Please do the needful so I can further think of buying your products.

Though brand name is very high, we bought semi automatic wasing machine with 7 years warranty.
on very first month we start seeking help from dealer /cxompany.
Most hopeless dealer service we were bound to inform top managment.
even though there was regular quality problem we have asked thier service person to visit more than 120 times.
But management has no same for the company.

At leat we shall never advice to our friends to buy products from such companies.
they allow to customer cry .after investing so much money you can not give to kabaiwala.

waiting for last warrenty year and we shall change with other regular brand.

I bought Electrolux Refigirator model no. - ER45SSPS in januarry 2006 . During in this 2 Year's refigirator create lot of problem & service after sales is also not good . Service person's didn't find the main problem in the refigirator .
The most iratted thing we are facing in last month when the refigirator not working for the one day . Costomer service department misbehave now when we said hat if you are not able to repaire this then told us we were manage outside you give us in written that we are not able to repaire this . But they said that O K you were go to consumer court .
They think that we are not known about consumer court O K fine we are going there but we are also go & raise this topic through media & then asked to the company head that this is your company product & your service department's behave after purchaseing Rs.27000/= refigirator.

Frigidaire faulty products and equally # customer care service

With reference to above we would like to submit the following:

1. We had purchased 10(ten) pieces of Electrolux air conditioners in March.07, threw your dealer in Jagat puri, shahdara. Namely Noble Marketing.

2. We got them installed at our Yojna Vihar residence cum office.

3. Although there were some initial problems with some of the ACs but were rectified in due course after much deliberations with your customer care staff.

4. Is your company comparable to any other unscrupulous neighborhood AC vendor? Well we believed otherwise initially.

5. After three months one of our ACs stopped functioning and we got a complaint registered with your call center vide complaint no [protected] on 14/7/2007.

6. Despite being assured that it will take 48 hours to rectify our complaint nobody turned up till 19/7/2007.

7. On 19/7/2007 the visiting engineer said that the AC is to be taken for repair and he took the Ac on 20/7/2007 by some DYNA Enterprises , 34, Shalimar park, Bhola Nath Nagar, Delhi-32.

8. On reminding about AC on 21/7/2007 we were given a reply that due to erratic power supply the work could not be completed but will be till 23/7/2007.

9. After enquiring on 24/7/2007 we came to know that the work has not started yet and it will take another 3-4 days for work to complete.

I want to know what types of sub standard products are being manufactured by your company and Is this the after sales service one is entitled to after purchasing your products?

Why me, as a customer should suffer for a faulty AC produced by your sub standard company. If my AC can not function in this humid weather than what is the use of purchasing it from from so called company? As a matter of fact had this AC being purchased from a local vendor he would have been able to rectify my problem the very next day instead for running after your stupid and useless so called customer care people.

Let me know the status of my AC before today evening or else I will dump that AC, as a token of your incompetence, in your office and purchase a good branded AC from some reputed company at your risk and cost. I will be constrained to take appropriate legal remedy in exercise of my legal rights.

I PURCHASED A 25 LTR MICROWAVE ON 26/1/2007 'PLUG IN', TILAK ROAD, PUNE, MAHARASHTRA.
MY MICROWAVE IS NOT WORKING FROM 18/10/2007. I LAUNCH A COMPLAINT FOR THAT TO 'PLUG IN', TILAK ROAD, PUNE, MAHARASHTRA ON 19/10/2007 IN THE MORNING.
THE COMPANY PERSON VISITED ON 22/10/2007. HE TOLD THAT HE WILL BE BACK WITH NECESSORY PARTS WITHIN 2 DAYS. NO RESPONCE AFTER THAT TILL TODAY. THEIR PHONE IS ALSO OUT OF USE .
AS USUAL THE COMPANY PERSON WILL BE HAVING HOLIDAY TOMORROW. SO WHEN CAN I GET MY MICROWAVE REPAIRED?

I have purchased through vijay sales - Mahim - Mumbai- a electrolux washing maching - front loading - on 07/12/98.. has started giving trouble since 2004 constantly.. twice the motor was replaced last time was on 22/08/2006.. that was noisy and causing vibrations.. and intermitent leakages.. which is now a daily function.. And since last four days it breakes the sycle and does not open the lead.. And to day it id malfunctioning.. We are unable to get your Mum, bai saervice telephone numbers.. Our Frigidaire dishwasher model PLD3460RDC1 (that was purchased new in November, 2005) has broken again for the 4TH TIME! Frigidaire electrolux sold me defective refrigerator!

I purchased a 275L Luxury SF Refrigerator from Arvee Sales Agencies, New Delhi in Jan 2004 which stopped cooling promptly after its warranty period of one year in Jun 05. I paid for its servicing and have been paying Rs 1230 every year during summers since the timer, despite being "Made in USA", has a warranty of three months and lasts exactly a year.

I sincerely feel that this is precisely the reason why Electrolux is losing the Indian market to the Korean products, low reliability, poor value for money and sub standard technology.

I sincerely recommend all not to even see their products leave alone buy them. They suck!

Frigidaire defective washer

Frigidaire front load washer one & a half old tub mount carroded so bad it broke in two places checked with lows for parts was told the part came as an assembly it would cost212.00 plus s&h all together would be 302.00 this ridiculous the part was inferior to start with if water ate it up i hope you read this before you buy model# ltf53odso from now on its only whirlpool. Thank you.

Frigidaire frustrated from electrolux

My name is Ravi Bhanot and this mail is my frustration towards Electrolux. I bought Electrolux 1.5 ton split AC on 6th April 2007, thinking that it has a good brand value and it would be long lasting. I bought it to give my father as a gift on his retirement.

I bough this from Amritsar dealer’s name is Bholi Brothers, however I am very sorry to say that whatever impression I have for Electrolux all go in vain. Those people gave us faulty unit and also were not ready to replace that. It has been really frustrating. Those people are spoiling Electrolux brand name.

Dear Mr. Ravi,

I have had a similar experience with Hitachi Quadricool 1 ton window ac. Please bear in mind that Electrolux is a good brand still as I have seen it in a friend's office. He uses it 10 hrs+. I am still thinking of buying an electrolux 1 ton split for home.

Many dealers dont care a damn once your payment is made. Most ACs come damaged due to poor logistics. My experience with Hitachi is the same. The call center at Hitachi is pathetic. I wished they change my new AC with other piece, but they would not. Atlast I have to bear with the damaged piece which I got from my dealer at Malad, Mumbai. It somehow works now, but nothing great to the 5000 Rs. Premium price I paid for buying a Quadricool AC. Finally the korean brands seem to be better choice than AMTREX HITACHI in todays market.

Frigidaire no more general motors made crap for me!

We bought our stacking Frigidaire (top load) washer/dryer about seven years ago. We had an old Frigidaire pair that we gave away when we bought this troublemaker. The old washer filtered the water so the lint did not get into the pump and stop it up. This new unit has no such feature and occasionally "surprises" us with about 20 gallons of water on the floor. No more General Motors made crap for me. Next time, I'm going with a foreign-made model.

Note that GM sold the Frigidaire division over twenty years ago. The old GM built machines were bulletproof (I have some coin operated ones in an apartment that were bought in the 60s.). I don't know who makes the new ones.

Frigidaire - out of warranty, no help!

Just has the control box on the refrigerator (model FR523W3AW5) replaced. From speaking to the repairman this is a very common problem. The repair man said they have has this problem since the model came off the assembly line. The cost was $114.90 plus $75 service charge. I would appreciate if Frigidaire would split the cost with me.
