Frigidaire stacked washer/dryer

Bought a Fridgedaire stacker washer /dryer. Spent $1, 200. I'm totally disappointed with both the washer and dryer. Let's start with the washer. There's no agitator. All dark clothes have a white soapy residue on them. Forget it if you use quick wash, there's no spin dry and the clothes are soaking wet. Now the dryer, again another major disappointment. It's supposed to have a "computer sensor " to tell you when the clothes are dry. Total waste. I literally have to run the drying cycle 4-5 times until clothes are dry. Forget about towels. Fridgedaire should close their operations. I'll never buy a Fridgedaire product and will tell anyone in sight not to purchase their products. Unit is 3 years old and has never worked since day one. I called and they tried to tell me over the phone how to check and fix. You kidding me 😡

Don't know if it will make much of a difference, but I have A Frigidaire washer and dryer and highly recommend them.

Frigidaire customer service

My dishwasher, that was 14 months old, had a faulty valve and caused $30, 000 in water damage to my kitchen. Customer Service wouldn't replace the dishwasher. Rude, staff. Obviously do not care about their reputation or customer satisfaction. I offered to provide insurance documents, pictures, and the old dishwasher but to no avail. Cusotmer Service just stonewalled me.

Frigidaire i'm reporting a problem with my frigidaire gallery refrigerator rusting on back panel.

My 7 year old side by side Frigidaire gallery refrigerator is getting big rust spots on the back panel. The metal is so thin I'm afraid a hole is going to open up. The Frigidaire rep said there's nothing they can do for me so I called an appliance repair service and was told there is no fix for it. I know I'm not the only one that has had this same issue and Frigidaire should do the right thing and own up to it. I know I will never buy another Frigidaire product again. I bought this along with the matching stove and microwave and now I'll have to buy a fridge that won't match my set. Buyer beware!

Frigidaire frigidaire side by side refrigerator

Purchased a frigidaire side by side refrigerator from Lowe's in Lexington SC on 9-16-1017. The drawers and holders are breaking and the refrigerator itself is cracking along the bottom. A repairman was sent out and we were told all he can do is put a "bandaid" on it, by drilling holes and placing white tape over the cracks.

Frigidaire electrolux cashback promotion

I purchased an Electrolux Fridge at the beginning of November 2018 largely as a result of a promise of a $100 cash back. I was informed after putting in my details on Electrolux's Promotion site that I would receive the $100 payment into my account in the next 6-8 weeks i.e. around mid December latest. On 24 December I was informed by email/sms that my claim had been processed and I would receive the money in my bank account within 72hours, i.e. by 27 Dec. When this passed I checked online via the claim tracker and was informed that the claim had been paid (but nothing was received). I then called and waited 20min on hold only to be informed that the payment would be made on or before the 7th Jan. When payment again didn't happen, I phoned again and waited for another 20min only to now be told that actually the payments would only be made after the promotion ends (this was 14th Jan according to their website). It is now the 15th Jan and still nothing - Quite frankly the most shocking promotion I have ever seen and guaranteed to achieve exactly the opposite of what it was meant to achieve - I will never buy an Electrolux product again...

Frigidaire cooktop model: fpic3677rf

After 7 months of owning my Frgidaire cooktop, it started beeping at random times when it was not in use. Especially at night it was annoying to be awaken in the middle of the night. To make it sop, you have to turn it on and then off. Since we were under warranty we called the company. Repairmen have been to my house 5 times in the past few months. Each time new parts were ordered and installed with no avail. After the last time, the cooktop started beeping every single minute. The repairman said we didn't know what else could be done to fix it. I called the company and asked to talk to a supervisor. I said to the supervisor that after five repairs, multiple parts replaced, and missed days from work we needed a replacement not a repairman. She said that i should turn the power off to the cooktop to stop the beeping. I said we need another supervisor to talked to.

Another supervisor called me today and said that a sixth repairman is coming on December 26 and that they try to fix it again. I said that we have people over for Xmas and we need to cook. She refused to replaced the cooktop. I asked after how many repair visits would the company consider we merit a replacement; she would not give me an answer.
So after months of failed repairs there is still no resolution. At the contrary, each time the cooktop is worse off that the previous time. We can't even use it know.

You know the true character of a company when things go wrong with their product. That's how you get repeat business. Do the right thing for your customers!

Frigidaire my 82 year old mother's brand new stove is still not repaired and not working

Mid November stove had flames shooting out of the control knob. Tech came out said stove may be irreparable. We have heard nothing since! Three weeks during the holiday season without a stove is unreasonable! Every call to check on what is happening is met with the same pat response, "the photos have not been reviewed yet". The claim number is [protected] - this should be a no brainer! We had to purchase a cook top so my mother could cook something. We should be reimbursed for that cook top! The original tech told us 3 days we would hear from Electrolux/Frigidaire and other than our calls in to them we have heard nothing.

Frigidaire model # fghs2655pf side-by-side refrigerator

bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator from a company that went out of business a few months later (hh Gregg). Within 6 months, we experienced multiple problems (doors would not stay shut, shelves breaking loose from brackets, icemaker malfunctioning). Called Frigidaire just prior to manufacturer warranty expiration; they scheduled a service call from a local repair shop. I stayed home from work to meet them, but they did not show up. It took over 2 weeks for them to find a different local repair shop. Missed work again to meet them; they couldn't fix it without replacement parts. 3rd service call (more missed work), discovered Frigidaire sent defective repair parts! 4th service call (more missed work), they finally gave up and said the appliance was a manufacturer defect and unrepairable. By this time, the manufacturer warranty had expired, so Frigidaire/Electrolux refused to cover the replacement cost! Same problem it took them weeks to conclude was not repairable. Their incompetence led to the delays past the warranty period. Finally offered to give me a replacement unit if I agreed to pay a $325 shipping and handling charge! Even I agreed to that, they would not guarantee that the new unit would be free of defects. Said I would have to rely on their standard limited warranty for repairs to the second unit. I refused and demanded a full refund, but they wouldn't budge. They even refused to pay the bill for the multiple service calls to try and repair the first piece of junk, until I threatened legal action. Their customer service was beyond terrible. They lied repeatedly and could not communicate within their own company. They did not care about me or my concerns. I will NEVER buy another product from that unethical company!

Frigidaire faulty products and poor customer service

We received this fridge when purchasing a house with new appliances. After having moved in we found the fridge was not working on "day 1". It was a new fridge never used but because the process of purchasing and moving in was so long it could not be returned to the store.

We called Frigidaire about how the fridge was not cooling and was new. It was under warranty and they said they'd have it repaired. I argued for a new fridge as no one would want to repair a new fridge right away. They would not replace it and forced us to have it repaired.

Fast forward and the fridge is not even 4 years old yet and starts having the SAME PROBLEM. It's now outside warranty and needs it's SECOND repair. Called Frigidaire and they said they WOULD NOT cover parts and labor to repair the unit.

They try and make ME the bad guy by stating it's outside of warranty so I shouldn't expect it to be repaired even under outstanding circumstances. I've worked with other companies in the past outside of warranty on issues and have been taken care of no problem.

Through it all they made ME feel like the bad guy. They state it's outside of warranty and make me feel as though I shouldn't expect it to be repaired even under outstanding circumstances. They also make multiple references to how I did not purchase an extended warranty. Anyone would expect to NOT need to have a fridge repaired twice in 4 years.

In this case the customer is wrong and bad. They do not stand by their products and do not take care of their customers.

Frigidaire frigidaire refrigerator

I called almost 2 weeks about a really strong chemical smell that's blowing in my refrigerator and freezer! It's in my food and making my family feel very sick! We replaced all the food twice and again must throw it away! Your technicians sent said there was no way to fix the Freon leak that he said smells like nail polish remover and it's very strong! He said there's nothing his company or anyone can do to fix it because the smell is so strong and it's embedded into the plastic that it would have to be replaced! I called and called and your customer service said they needed a report which they obtained! Now I call and call and they said they need to physically speak to the technician that came! Every time a different story! We are severely sick from it stomach headaches etc nausea vomiting! Can not use the refrigerator or open it! My hub is blind do to a work injury so I have no one to throw this thing out of here! I was told they rescheduled the same company to come again to confirm the smell and call then the company did not show up and left a message that there was no need for them to come out again that they submitted the info needed and requested to Frigidaire! Now I called again to let you know and spoke to a higher authority named Bracey! He said he was contacting another company to come that said they will not fix from leak but can confirm the smell! He said he couldn't get in contact with the companies either of them to send that he would contact me by the end of the business day! That was Tuesday! No call no appts no replacement plus I again called Hsy Buelvas repair specialist that came for the report verbally from you at Galaco appliance service ! No call back from anyone! I'm left with no choice! Here is my contact info! Danielle Aponte [protected] or [protected] please please help my family .. my 2 year cries about his stomach for over a week! I have no money for more food until November!

Frigidaire frigidaire refrigerator

I purchased a refrigerator brand new July 12, 2018, August 9, 2018 I was back at ABC Warehouse attempting to exchange item when I was told I had to allow item to be serviced. Called Frigidaire customer service they have had 3 technicians come out the lasted being today. Technician left my home not knowing what is wrong with item not working. Called customer service I was told I have to wait two business days for the technician to decide what is wrong with my appliance. Mean while I do not have a working appliance which is necessary to sustain life. And neither the store I purchased the appliance from or the company that has made the appliance has offered to reimburse myself for the money I lost in groceries, or the money I have to spend daily on fast food. I was told to report it to my home owners insurance of which it will cost me at renewal of my insurance because I had a claim. I have been more than 90 days with out a working refrigerator.

Frigidaire slide in range

I am beyond frustrated with my Frigidaire appliances! I bought a fridge, range, and dishwasher 3 years ago. Initially, I liked them and recommended them to my aunt and cousin who both purchased the same appliances. The dishwasher leaves a film, the finish soap dispenser only opens half of the time, and we get a error code most loads... the fridge has had broken shelves which I have needed to replace. The most FRUSTRATING part is my slide in range. The store I purchased them at told me to use a good stainless steel cleaner to clean them. I have recently learned that you can only use soap and water to clean your stainless steel?!?! My family members were told the same thing about cleaning. That is unheard of! Your reps need to be educated on cleaning practices if your appliances are so cheap they peel! My stainless panel where my dials are has peeled so bad it looks terrible. The first customer service rep I spoke to said the company would replace them. Weeks went by and nothing happened so I called again. The second two who were both managers (I can provide names) said that it is cosmetic and the company does not stand behind the product and the part is $331 to replace and I would need a tech to install which is another $200! I am so upset and it just continues to peel... I think the company should stand behind their product and replace my panel. I will tell everyone I know to never purchase Frididaire appliances again if I do not get help from the company. This is ridiculous and my kitchen looks horrible because of this product. I would love to speak to the CEO of Frididaire about their customer service reps who are less than helpful and your crappy appliances! Please contact me if you would be willing to help. Frigidaire freezer-fffh20f2qw 20 cf

October 23, 2015, the defroster timer stuck, 1 day out of warranty. Repairman replaced it. On the spot bought extended warranty.
No problems until several power surges (repairman thinks) caused to defroster to reset several times. The repairman did not express this to Frigidaire warranty people, what he had told me. Repair man did not bring any tools except a small computer, just plug unit back in and stated freezer was running. Was here about 10 to 15 minutes. Stated the unit was full of insects and smelled, could never be used again. We had already taken about 2, 000 dollars of food to landfill, of course he said unit was unplug. We had nothing to put in the foul smell unit. Never will buy a Frigidaire or Electrolux in our lifetime.

Frigidaire brand new frigidaire (1 minute old) gas range purchased from the brick (thunder bay, ontario, canada) has non-functional broiler (will not light)

Sept. 19, 2018, gas range installed by technician, everything but top broiler lights up, and as a result technician will not certify installation for non-functional gas appliance. 'the brick' can't/won't do anything for a week or two. the only warranty technician is up to his eyeballs in work. if this is the quality of frigidaire products and service we will demand our money back and be ever so happy to tell others of our satisfaction with our experience. don't you people test your products before letting them out the factory door ? so what do I cook on for two (or more) weeks ? what if you bought a brand new truck and it conked-out 5 minutes after being bought and service/warranty/dealer said to you, " well, we will get on this in few weeks (maybe) and until then walk or take the bus ?
no one seems to have parts in thunder bay for this range either, except by ordering, from somewhere. pretty shoddy experience for the price paid for this product. More experiences like this by more people, and judging by the internet complaints about the company/products/service, you may not be in business much longer with so many bad reviews. PLEASE DO SOMETHING AND HELP. THANK-YOU.

Frigidaire the entire gallery series

Having purchased an unfurnished home 8 years ago, we needed to find a new refrigerator/freezer, range, and microwave.

The deal we found on a trio of Frigidaire ‘Gallery' appliances, at a major home improvement box store, seemed too good to be true. A year after our ‘investment', we realized the deal WAS too good to be true.

I kick myself in the [censored], now, every time I interact with one of these cheap pieces of crap!

The range is a tinny box. The storage drawer doesn't hold much more than the griddle and a couple of baking trays. The oven racks are tipsy, and L-O-U-D, everytime the oven door is opened. The oven burner ignites with a WOOF...every time.

The microwave's door handle came loose with infrequent and light use, as the lower mounting screw pulled completely through the brittle plastic, and out the over-sized mounting hole.

And, the refrigerator/freezer?! OMG!
The water dispenser hose is mounted at an angle. The ‘Cubed' ice comes out ‘Crushed' more times than not. The drip tray is so shallow, any water misdirected by the mal-mounted water dispenser hose is immediately splashed onto any unsuspecting user, and/or the floor. The shelves/baskets in the freezer mount so flimsily that any lateral movement results in the shelf, and its contents, falling free to the shelf/basket below. The bottom well of the freezer constantly fills with water from a terrible design flaw with the condensation hose. The water then freezes, filling the well which results in subsequent water flowing over the ice, seeping through the door seal...ruining any non-masonry floor one might have. You should see our, otherwise pristine, bamboo floor. We're constantly placing/replacing (prying, is more the appropriate word) towels in the well to try to absorb the water. But...go on vacation for more than a week, or two? Disaster.

All-in-all? I wish I'd have known, then, what I know, now.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

ps: How happy am I that we didn't need a dishwasher!

Defective Liner noticed in December 2017 Noticed a tear in the liner at bottom of refrigerator on main base where the door shelves perhaps were cutting in to when closing. Service tech came out under warranty and Taped it... then again on December 21 another crack appeared and they came and Taped that one as well. It is now September 2018 and there is another one! Several inches long. Frigidaire tells me. when I paid for my extended warranty, I didn't pay the sales tax. What?! You have to pay that separately? You don`t collect it at the same time? So I pay it and then call them back a week later to check on status and now they say lady in back office did it wrong... gave me a 1 day warranty on accident and to call them back again in 3 days. I requested a New refrigerator and not a third tape repair in which I was told no. I am seriously considering hiring an attorney to handle this for me. I have owned refrigerators for over 50 years, also worked in an appliance store for several years. This is a Defective Product! I would like to return this item and receive a refund...

Frigidaire gallery fgwc4633ss - undercounter wine fridge

I bought a Frigidaire under the counter wine refrigerator in July 2017. Last night I opened the refrigerator from the top horizontal handle. The right side of the handle popped off causing the left part of the handle to rotate clockwise slicing my hand open. I went to the emergency room and received 5 stitches! The edge that sliced open my hand is incredibly sharp and dangerous. This appliance is a danger to all those who have it in their home.

My fridge freezer isn't even 2 years old the compressor has broken I spent over 500$$ in repairs and it has t helped Frigidaire has not helped me one bit other ppl have had similar issues w same model and company they are taking advantage of the working class people !

Frigidaire fridge/frigidaire

We bought this fridge from Home Depot at the end of July on my husband, John Buckley's Home Depot credit card. (see below for Home Depot order number, and fridge serial number and model number) We paid $698.40 for it. It was delivered in early August. My husband was in the middle of renovating the kitchen, so did not plug it in right away. We now have it up and running but having a problem with the amount of noise it makes. It's so loud, we can hear it with our bedroom door closed. I have had a few fridges in my life but never experienced anything like this. This is not normal or acceptable, and we should not have to live with it. I spoke with a representative of your company and explained the problem, to which she responded that if a service person comes and does not hear the noise I will be charged for that appointment. The noise is intermittent (when the motor runs), so may or may not happen when he's here. What are we supposed to do ? How can we remedy this situation? I spoke with 2 people at Home Depot in the last hour, and 2 at Electrolux. No one seems willing to take responsibility for the problem.
We would like you to honor the warranty policy that came with our purchase.
We would like to return this fridge.
We are willing to buy another fridge, perhaps even an upgrade.

Please contact us as soon as possible to resolve this issue.

Frigidaire side by side refrigerator freezer with ice maker.

This is an ongoing prolem since April of this year. At that time we started having problems with the ice maker. I called and they was to find some one in the Walkerville michigan area to come and fix it. No one in our area to work on them.next they were to replace the unit. Ater 3 or 4 weeks they deliver one and it was damaged. After 3 refrigerators that all came damaged I began to get suspicious. The people at the help center are not helpful and i ask to speak to a supervisor. I though she was really helping but I was wrong. I tried to tell her that your delivery people were damaging it after they found out they had to bring it up 4 steps and take the doors off to get it in. Last thursday they were to deliver the 4th refrigerator at came at 8:30 in the evening. When they got here I went out and ask if they brought me a good one this time. Oh yes they said. When they lowered it out of the truck everything looked good. They ask to see where it went. I showed them through garage up 4 steps to kitchen. They pulled out the refrigerator to unplug it and shut off water. I was on the other side waitng and they were gone. I went out to the truck and they were both standing by the new one talking and looking back at me. I went out and all of the sudden 2 poke holes on the handles and all scratched. This was done on purpose i feel just like the others because they did not want to work. Each of these times i have to reload my refrigerator and push it back in. This is the refrigerator that came with the home. I know you have all that information on your computer along with the fact they gave us a 6 month extension on warranty because this has taken so long. Now the ice maker will not work and leaks on the floor. I have contacted Scott at Fremont homes about this. I will hope that whoever reads this will take care of this issue imediatly.
