Frigidaire frost free freezer

I purchased a Frigidaire freezer on May 28, 2017. The freezer was delivered on 6/2/2017. On 6/28/17 the freezer suddenly stopped working. I lost approximately $1200 worth of food. I called Frigidaire for a new freezer since it was not even 30 days. They said they will send out a tech to look at the freezer. I informed the rep that I did not want a tech to look at the freezer, but would like a NEW freezer and reimbursement for my food. The rep was very condescending in his reply saying "we won't send a freezer, but will send a tech and we don't reimburse for food loss.
Needless to say I was livid and will NEVER buy another Frigidaire product again. I will also discourage my friends and family from buying Frigidaire products.
I experience horrible customer service and still have not been able to replace the food I lost.

I'm pretty heavily involved with the industry and can state Frigidaire really does make one of the best freezers on the consumer level market.

Most manufactures that I'm aware of do not cover food loss, although if you check with the retailer you purchased the unit through food loss may be covered.

The reason for not automatically replacing the appliance makes sense when you think about it. You wouldn't believe the amount of service calls I've been involved with where the problem isn't the actual appliance, but some external cause. The idea is to diagnose the issue before they solve it.

Frigidaire dehumidifier issues

I am a consumer of Frigidaire Dehumidifier model # FAD704DWD Serial # KN50603138.

The system stopped working with a EC code and only works for roughly an hr if I unplug the plug the device back. I spoke to customer service and was told that the warranty would have been up to 5 yrs if the error code is a different one(SO). I searched for this model and code online and realized that there are numerous consumers with the same issue but no one had a solution for it (https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/302583/keeps+stopping+with+error+code+EC)

The unit was purchased at Staples in Aug 2015, the problem started Jan/Feb 2017.

It is rare that a $200 unit can fail so frequently on the same issue with such a short product lifespan.

I am hoping Frigidaire could replace the unit or at least refund the full purchase amount.

Frigidaire dishwasher

I have an electrolux dishwasher, not my choise, since it came with the condo I bought. This appliace is barely used, and suddenly stopped working. I reached customer service and simply gave apologies, no real solutions. Finally, the said, nothing we can do, warranty is limited to one year. Is your problem. I hate this brand and customer service. Not reccomendable at all.

Electrolux is actually a pretty nice line of appliances. I'm involved in the industry and own some myself. Most appliances only come with a one year limited warranty, so it's not a bad idea to consider paying for extended warranties on such.

Frigidaire frigidaire gallery - fghc2331pfca

This refrigerator emit disturbing noisy since first day. Beside the regular humming sound, there is odd high pith sound form back of the appliance.

I have called the store (bad boy), they replied its manufacture to fix the problem once purchase done.

So I called [protected], a technician came. He agree the noise is abnormal and try make some adjustment, still same. He mad couple of call to someone, and after that he said this is normal and go.

We have been using different type of refrigerators (6-7) in past 20 years, this sound is absolutely unacceptable. Now the customer service said according to the user manual this type of appliance could emit high than normal sound and that's the end of call !

that thing stopped working since last night, everything in the refrigerator are deforesting... this is only 9 days since delivery !
I called the service for repair, the lady directed my call to 3 part service provider, and contractor said they are busy the easiest day is 2 weeks after ... really pissed.
I call backed to Frigdaire, asking if they have service level agreement for their product, the response time for example... answer is no. That all depends on contract schedule.
I have no word to say... desperate. Its life time experience, try all you best to avoid Frigdaire !

I'm involved within the industry. I can tell you Frigidaire and Electrolux fridges are known to produce louder than normal sounds. Ultimately, you may just consider reselling it and buying a different brand. Many produce rather good qualities. LG is one of my favorites.

Frigidaire frigidaire fghc2331pfca side by side refrigerator

The refrigerator we purchased approximately 2 months ago has not worked properly and is defective from the day we received it. We purchased a side by side Frigidaire refrigerator appoximately 2 months ago. From the day we received it we had condensation problems from the water dispenser, it developed condensation and freezing problems in the crisper door and now the temp control is not working properly, not registering the appropriate temperature in the fridge. We have had 5 repairs, going on 6 since the temp issue needs to be taken care of now. Also, the solution to the crisper freezing was to use silicone around the frame and box, and also a greasy and goopy sealant on the door, which is unacceptable. Now there is a constant greasy film on the seal which gets on our clothes if we lean on the door at all, and has made the seal un-cleanable. The silicone sealant on the box is awful looking and looks shoddy. Electrolux has expressed that if that was the recommendation for repair by their technicians, then that is how is has to be. I have asked for a replacement since each repair is costing me food spoilage due to the door being left open for so long, and they don't cover that - the each repair visit is disruptive. I should have received a working unit in the first place and can accept one or two repairs - but this is going on the 6th with no end in sight, plus a very sloppy job done. I no longer have a nice new refrigerator.

Frigidaire frigidaire fghb 2866pf6 refrigerator ice maker

Installed Nov. of 2014. Always drip from the ice chute. After 2 weeks of service, ice maker froze up. Repaired. 3 weeks later, ice maker is froze up. In less than 3 years, and 2 extended warranties, 2 different repairman have attempted to fix the problem, and 10 visits, have failed to repair the problem. They both say design problem, they can't fix it. We have had ice less than half of the time we have owned it. Being it has been initially defective, we feel a replacement is not out of line

Frigidaire customer service in order to request warranty service on refrigerator/freezer

Hello,
I just called today to request service on my refrigerator / freezer as I was having issues with the continual frost building up and melting in my freezer for months. Now following hurricane irma I am now seeing that the refrigerator section has intermittently rising temperatures above normal safe refrigeration settings. Power has been fully restored to my area. I am told that due to the storm they are not allowed to do anything until after October 14 and won't be able to tell me when I can contact to schedule an appointment and that my extended warranty won't be covered if I make my own arrangements for service.

I don't understand why there would be a wait on this if there are authorized service contractors operating in the area. I would think there would be some effort to provide customer service rather than saying wait a month and try again.

Very disappointed in your level of customer service.

Frigidaire dehumidifier warranty service

I purchased an extended warranty on my 50pt dehumidifier.
Unit began leaking on my hardwood floors, causing warping.

I called Frigidaire, gave them the warranty information & asked what I should do.
I am a senior citizen, without transportation & serious back issues.
The representative? said she would call me back with the information I needed. 6 days later & called. the representative said I would need to pay a 25.00 recycle fee when the exchange was made. No problem with that.

I have been a great customer & still have four 70 pt dehumidifiers in my home & basement. I am seriously allergic to mold & dust mites, so need this for medical reasons.

Once again I contacted frigidaire. I was told that it was sent to the nearest dealer in my area. OK. Fine. I assumed I would then receive a call giving me delivery time. Boxed the old unit up & waited.

Called again & was told it was sent to an appliance store in Redwood City, California. I would be responsible for picking it up & bringing the old one in for return.

No matter what I tried to say to your representatives, they say they are done & the warranty was honored.

I have called the appliance store, which is in another CITY & they won't do anything. '

I am without product, out of the warranty money & the appliance store said they just did Frigidaire a favor by letting them ship it to them.

I will not be buying products from you again, even though I consider it a very good product.

So I want to tell a story I have a Frigidaire Gallery everybody quit working and gave me an error code so I called Frigidaire directly I spoke to representative she was very pleasant and nice I told her about the error code to my Frigidaire Gallery she stated that it was my display and then I told her the center in the ice maker fell down and somehow the wires shorted out the board she says I was correct so she sold me the display board and then she told me who the authorized repair services were in my area the soonest opening they had was a week so I'm going without a frigerator for 10 days and as soon as the repair services arrive at my home he informed me that sent me the wrong part and he told me that Frigidaire should have known it wasn't my display board because the controls for the temperatures were working so I called Frigidaire back and told me that made state that they made and of course they refunded my money for the part and for my inconvenience I asked him to send me the mainboard for my inconvenience and I had to take off work for the day so I lost a day worth of wages and the representative I spoke to said she could not do that so I asked to speak to a supervisor she said why he's going to tell you the same thing I would like to know if it is Frigidaire policy for a representative answering the phone to tell me what a supervisor is going to do so regardless to say I'm out of a day's worth of wages and broken 1500 refrigerator does Frigidaire even care about the people they serve #Jonas Samuelson

Frigidaire washer part

we had given my son a washer dryer set...it had always been used as a stacked set . We had to unstack it at my son's new apartment. When we unstacked it there was not a top to the washing machine. I called the 800-number with them the serial number order to Oder a top piece for the washing machine.
When the part arrived and my son put it on it was obviously the wrong part as shown in the picture below. I called the 800-number again to explain that it was packaged with the wrong part to which her response was you will need to call an appliance repair man to tell me that my 25-year-old son's observation was not good enough .
The repair man sent the bill as expected it said the correct part number was on the out side of the box but the incorrect part was packaged in the box .
They are reimbursing me $130 for the original part I spent $150 to order the correct part and I also have $140 bill for the repair man which was not necessary that they believed my son and believed the picture which clearly shows the lid never fit
I feel it is only fair that the company either one reimburses me for the service call or to reimburses me altogether for the part which in this case would be $150

Frigidaire commercial 18.4 cu. ft. food service grade glass door merchandiser refrigerator in stainless steel, energy star

3 days into it, it went from 38-60 spoiled all the food, so pulling teether they sent me another one, that one even went higher contacted corporate they say oh its normal, wrong Ive lost about $400.00 of food and still NOTHING 5 weeks into owning this piece of crap and 1800.00 bill I have for this piece of crap and they wont stand behind it. debating should I get an attorney all I want is a buyback and to be done with this company and move on to a fridge that works, they say its not our policy to do that, we will fix it, technician came out he said yes it has a problem but frigidair says nope no problem we aint fixing or replacing it, so its normal for a fridge to go to 60 degrees inside a unit on a defrost cycle for 15 mins, it takes 45 mins for it to get back to 38 then 12 hours later it does it again, my electric bill went through the roof with this being it runs non stop.

Frigidaire model # fghn2866pf8a serial # 4a54417303

On February 13, 2016 I purchased a Frigidaire Refrigerator, Model #FGHN2866PF8A Serial # 4A54417303, and took delivery on March 24, 2016. Attached are the service records for this product, the problem to date has not been rectified. I made all my service calls through Frigidaire's customer service line instead of the dealer we purchased it from thinking I was doing the right thing, however when I reached out to the dealer they said they could not help because I didn't purchase the extended warrantee through them, I purchased it through Frigidaire. In my opinion I shouldn't have had to purchase an extended warrantee because the problem was ongoing from the installation of the product. The ice maker spews water all over the back of the freezer making it almost impossible to pull the upper rack out. There's a lump of ice on the ice bucket and in the bucket itself. The refrigerator run at least 10 to 15 degrees higher than the setting of 33, so I can not keep cold cuts or milk. There are no parts left to replace, the main seal from the freezer to the frig has been replaced the ice makers tubing, the ice maker, the seal on the ice maker, the main logic board and the temperature sensor. The last repair person that was here just through up his arms and said he couldn't do anything for us. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and have contacted my credit card company to see if I can get a refund. It's odious Frigidaire does not stand behind their product. I'd like a refund on this product afraid if it is replaced I would only have the same issues.

Frigidaire recalled dehumidifier — waiting 2 months for new one!!

Had Defective Model # FFAD5000T1 SERIAL # KN71101480.

Customer service has been horrible! This is my second defective unit in the last year! Sent pic of cut cord, serial # and model # 's in June! Was told it would ship in 2 weeks! All summer and no dehumidifier! Whatever the third party company you're using to handle these replacements is totally inefficient and un-informative. I want my humidifier! And I want it now!

I will have a difficult time buying or referring anyone to purchase any Frigidaire products after this

Frigidaire service of refrigerator

Hello, I purchased the Frigidaire refrigerator along with the whole sets of kitchen appliance in tasco brampton half year ago. the model number is FPB C2277RF, the SN is 4A65006866. you can easily check when i called for the service since my refrigerator did not work properly, and till now, over 1 month, it still doesn't work. can you guys image that in summer, whole family lived without refrigerator. if you were us, what do you rate frigidaire's service?0 or minus?
when i called the customer service yesterday, i promise it will be my last call. i asked except continuously sent the service guy every 2wks to my house and always left the useless refrigerator, do you guys have option B or C?can you just simply change the whole refrigerator or just return the money back to me and take that garbage away? she told me i have to give the chance to the technician guys, let them fix it for me.Thanks god, am i a god? how come i live without refrigerator over a month and i have to give the chance to these guys again and again?
If frigidaire still care about the customer, call me back and give me a workable solution.

Frigidaire dishwasher

Hello,

My name is Jeanna Tenuta. I am emailing because I have a severe concern/issue. Yesterday (8/7/17) my husband discovered that ceiling tiles in our basement were soaking wet and had fallen out due to a leak. At the time we were unsure where it was coming from. We had a plumber come on an emergency call. In his discovery he found out that out Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher from Best Buy was the problem. I called best buy immediatley to utilize our extended warranty, I found out then it had expired 1 month prior. The customer service rep offered no help.

After no help I had no choice but to continue in with the plumber once he got into the dishwasher he discovered a hole in the bottom of the dishwasher.  The heating coil/ring was only clamp had fallen and melted through the dishwasher. This issue caused damage to my floor, my ceiling,  and had to make me purchase a new dishwasher that was only installed in May 2016.

I am disappointed with the quality of the dishwasher. It has cost me time, stress, and over $1000 to rectify this situation.

Frigidaire frigidaire refrigerator ffhs2622msya

I purchased this refrigerator from Sears last year, along with the matching dishwasher, oven and over the range microwave. Imagine my disgust when I opened my refrigerator this morning to find about a 7 inch crack on the inside skin, along the seam of the fridges left hand side panel.

Definitely faulty. I purchased this from Sears last year. Please review as I am highly not in a position to fork out another thousand for a fridge. I have receipts for all purchased and a picture of the crack I am happy to email to you.

Please respond back as soon as possible.

Frigidaire air conditioner replacement

Hello,

First of all it is important to mention that my entire family is a 20 minute drive away from Fort Wayne, Indiana, where Frigidaire was founded. My grandfather used Frigidaire, father, mother, uncles, aunts, cousins, everyone, all of us use Frigidaire. We have given this company dozens of thousands of dollars at this point.

Nearly 3 months ago I began the replacement process for my air conditioner. The product was not shipped initially, then it was damaged upon arrival, and then proceeded to take another month to arrive. I called over and over throughout this whole time, with no notifications or voluntary calls from Frigidaire informing me of what was going on. Whenever there was a problem I found out by calling and making them figure it out.

Now, it's also important to mention I've had surgery and cannot lift anything. I paid the hardware store dealing with the return to install the air conditioner. They showed me the box, said here's the 10, 000 BTU and I said great. All 10, 000 BTU air conditioners on the site had the clean air function button and so I did not think twice about it.

After the air conditioner was installed, I now notice there is no clean air button. I did not think this was even an option and after nearly 3 months of waiting for the air conditioner I was eager to get it in and working as I've been recovering from major surgery in intense heat because of Frigidaire's delay. I would have never had it installed if I had noticed the clean air button missing from the get go.

Now upon calling Frigidaire to get the right product shipped to me, I am being told that since the product is delivered and installed there is no way I am able to receive the correct product that I originally had.

This is unbearably frustrating, I cannot believe how horrifying this customer service experience has been. I will be relaying all of this to me family members, friends, coworkers, and anyone else I can find to tell them not to purchase anything Electrolux or Frigidaire again. I come from a family built on brand loyalty, the kind of families big companies like yours rely on. I have a big say in the family, and I can't believe this has caused me enough frustration to literally want to obliterate this company!

I am still in shock that I have been treated this way, and am absolutely expecting a response to this message from someone who can fix it.

Frigidaire frigidaire gallery refrigerator - model # lgub2642-lf2

We contacted Frigidaire at the [protected] number regarding issues associated with item listed above. Company response, so far has been absolutely unsatisfactory and I have asked for a company decision-maker to call me. After much ado, I was told I would be contacted within 1-2 business days by Bracy. I was reluctantly told that his title his "Executive Manager". I believe that Frigidaire is aware that this particular model has a track record of issues associated with poor design and chooses to not do the right thing, but rather make the customer feel that they are doing us a favor of offering 20% off parts. First of all, the motherboard for the ice-maker and the water valve are at issue. These items have been replaced twice in the last two years at a cost of over $500.00 apiece for a total of Over $1, 000 in repairs. The last repair was done in June, 2016 by a qualified company, Chambers in Bloomington, IL. In early July, 2017, the icemaker quit working again, and the July 27 $80.00 service call, resulted in the same outcome. The motherboard for the icemaker and the water valve are broken again and the cost for repair will be over $500.00. If we repair, the total cost of repair of the appliance will be around $1, 500.00. This is totally unsatisfactory and as customers, we expect this issue to be put in front of a company official who is willing to do the right thing. It is obvious that dumping further hard-earned resources into repairing this poorly designed appliance is not good economics and it seems that Frigidaire should be willing to stand behind their products, rather than spout "party-line" policy...particularly when it is widely known in your company that this model and serial number have serious design issues. My husband and I would like to be contacted by a company official and/or be given the name and contact information of your CEO and/or board members. We plan to take this issue as far up the line as possible in order to get the ear of a reasonable individual and solve this problem to our satisfaction. As I pointed out needlessly to two other people (Kinisha and Takera), they could care less that the best form of advertising is word of mouth. I look forward to hearing from you.

Frigidaire refrigerator

We bought our Frigidaire refrigerator in August of 2015 along with the gallery of appliances from Loews. From the first week the refrigerator has made a whining, growling noise. Several technicians from different companies have not been able to fix the problem. I spoke with Paul from Mr Appliance located IN ISELIN, NEW JERSEY. Paul stated that it was the compressor and that Mr Appliance does not have a technician qualified to fix the compressor because it is a sealed unit. Paul made this diagnosis without even seeing the unit or sending a technician to my home. Pure nonsense. I have had two cancellations from a company called A S A P located on Staten Island the person I spoke with was GIGI. Top Digital sent a technician out who determined that it was the ice maker. He stated that he made an adjustment and that the problem was solved. NOT SO. We still have the problem. My warranty was about to run out so I extended it to next year. I am determined to get this problem fixed and will continue to call Frigidaire until this issue is resolved.

Frigidaire ice maker not making ice and almost out of warranty.

When I moved in September 2016 to this home, I purchased all my major appliances from Lowes. I have had nothing but problems from my Frigidaire refrigerator model FFHB2740PEBA, Serial #4A62618319. I am sure you can look up the records to see how many times a repair man has been here. I replaced a real old Frigidaire that had seen its days but had a boat load of ice all the time!

So, I am now waiting for the repair person to come on Tuesday. But, I also found out that the repair man that had been coming out is no longer a warranty repair station for you! So I have to start over with some new guy?

I am so fustrated with your company. I always had high regards for the Frigidaire and Electrolux company. Not now. Please help me replace this POS!
