I'm sorry you've had a bad experience, but please let me assure you that every image on our website is available as a free download, albeit in a small size (300x400px). We do ask that you publish a credit when you use the free images; this means that our photographers/illustrators receive 'free advertising' instead of direct payment from the images. We like to think that this makes it a 'win-win' deal. You do have to pay for the images if you want a larger size or to use it without a credit. We try to make this all as clear as possible on the website.
