Free Gas Central collected our $5 registration fee through PayPal back on August 25, 2008 and after 3 months of faithfully mailing in our $100 worth of gas recipts, we have received 3 emails from them acknowledging they have received our receipts "in good order". However, to-date we have not received a single gas card. Their website is down and their phone number just rings and rings and no one answers in the "customer service" dept. I understand that their website has now changed to Gas Redemption Services but I cannot get on that website either. These people should be locked up!

This company is a rip off. I am so pissed that they took $5.00 through pay pal and I have not seen one coupon. I got roped into this scam through Prime Toyota for coming in and looking into purchasing a car. I don't know if I should go after the car crooks or the gas company! We should all form a class action lawsuit.

Save $100 of gas receipts per month minimum. Mail in recemption coupons with gift voucher # on them to receive a $25. Oo gift card to purchase gas. . . But the gift cards never come and it is impossible to contact the company. . . Help! I have the $300 gas voucher with a gift code of fgc7249597650. . . I attended a milwaukee brewers game at miller park and entered a drawing for a free vacation. . . Then went to listen to an intimidating sales pitch. . .

This was a very degrading experience! The miller park should be aware of these scams and not allow the pests to infect the ball park!

Received $100 gas voucher from local auto dealership. Followed instructions, paid $5.00 from PayPal and started sending in gas vouchers each month, July, August, Sept, Oct 2008. Rec'd first two gas cards in December for July and August 08. Still haven't received Sept, Oct 08? I have called them, sometimes get an answer with their story of computer and phone troubles, but My gas cards were issued on 11/12/08 and I should get them shortly. It is now 2/4/09 and I still don't have them. I called last week and was told everything would be mailed out by this last Friday 1/31/09, still nothing. I called today and no one picked up after 30 minutes, so I hung up. They don't answer emails either. mail is returned? What should I do?

We received a $150 free gas redemption coupon for attending a vacation sales presentation in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. We have complied with all requirement of the company but they have not responded or sent any coupons. I copied everything I sent to Gasoline Redemption Center.

Do you suggest I file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office in all three states involved. Also should I file a complaint against the company that awarded the coupon?

My story is the same as other postings. Instead of being furious at this Free Gas Central, how about the "real estate seminar" (really just a get-rich quick BS) that made us sit through an entire day (9-5) of speeches to get a $250.00 gas card. I sent in Oct. and Nov. receipts and received zilch.

It's the real estate people (and yes, of course I didn't save a record of their names) who are at fault. They're in cahoots with Free Gas Central. The nerve to herd hundreds of folks into a meeting room at a reputable (I think) Doubletree Hotel in Somerset NJ and then bilk them...average folks. These people should join the Madoff ranks.

After paying Pay Pal $5.00. I followed all the instructions and started sending as stated the gas receipts for a $100.00 each month. I started this in October and have not received one gift card as promised.
In January I did speak to someone at this number [protected], and I was told they were having problems with their computer and that I should start receiving the gift cards within 3 weeks. It is now March and I tryed to call this same number and it is not working.
What a rip off!

I received a Free Gas Central registration card from my Hall Honda dealership. I have submitted my four months of gas receipts. Free Gas Central has acknowledged receipt of three months, but not the last submitted in January 2009. I have not received any of the gas cards for this promotion. I also paid the $5.00 fee with Pay Pal to be returned as a $30.00 gas card for the last months gas receipts. All receipts were mailed to: Gasoline Redemption Center 14100 Walsingham Road Ste 36 #12 Largo Fl.33774. The [protected] phone number given non my registration confirmation is invalid on 2/18/09 and 2/24/09.

I live in Michigan, and after my husband bought a vehicle we were given the voucher. We paid the fee, and followed the instructions. It has been five months and all we have received are e-mails say everything was in order, and that the free gas cards would be coming soon. I did contact them by e-mail only to be told that everything was in order. Their telephone number no longer works. The car company that gave us the certificate said that they paid $3, 000.00 to get the cerificates to give to their customers. They have been scammed too. The 800 number listed on other complaints for a company called PPI is not a valid number for any company taking over for Free Gas Central. They told me to contact the Florida Attorney General.

In December of 2008, I purchased a "brand new" vehicle and was given a registration form for free gas.I then completed form and sent in five dollars for vouchers for free gas certificates. I never received anything from Free Gas Central as promised, however learned that possibly this company have been scamming everyone with this supposely incentive. I am hoping the same, as one" unhappy consumer" said I also hope that they be prosecuted to the fullest! And that we all become rich off all of our $5.00 and their misrepresentation. Please help us to get what they so deserve, "NOTHING" Many Thanks!

Received Gift Code: FGC6750667650 for $459.00 in FREE GAS or merchandise from the gas station of your choice. We had to use PayPal to pay $5.00 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT in September 2008. We have sent in original gas receipts from Sam's Club of $100.00 each before the 15th of each month starting in October 2008 to receive $25.00 gift card. We have never received one $25.00 gift card.

I emailed them and they said they were having computer troubles, but would be sending the gift cards as soon as they got that repaired. Never heard anymore or received any gift cards.

They now owe us $150.00.

Last receipts we sent for March 2009, envelope was returned: "Return to Sender Refused Unable to Forward" BC [protected] *[protected] 04/07/09 NIXIE 337 DC 1

My comments are almost exactly like the others. We went to a local business to hear a "pitch" from a timeshare firm. Just for listening we would get $300 in free gas. Well we resisted the first scam (timeshare pitch) and got the registration materials for our free gas. We sent in our $5.00...did everything we were supposed to do...got confirming emails from "Free Gas Central" each month, but never ever got the $25 free gas cards. Today our most recently submitted snail mail was returned as undeliverable, and the 800 number is disconnected.

For us we are only out $5 and the wasted time saving receipts and mailing them in.

My next step is to write a polite letter to my State Attorney General Office.

I just received an e-mail that Free Gas Central has gone out of business and another company is trying to sort things out and take over to take care of the people that have recieved these coupons.
The name of the company that has taken over is called PPI and the phone number is [protected].
I have not called this number yet as I just received it.
I am calling to day to see what the deal is.
I hope everyone on this board will contat this company, and update on the board what they have found out.
Good luck

I am a victim of free gas central also.I filled out a form at the mall, and recieved a call from Sunset Vacations saying I had won a $300 dollar gas card. I went and got the card, gave them my $5 off of my debit card and haven't heard from them since. I am very pissed and unhappy there should be no reason for them to still be able to operate!

I started this program in Oct 08...Have mailed in my receipts each month, receiving a confirmation email back that they were rec'd, yet I have not yet received one free gas card back from them. How are they getting by with this? Our 5$ was to be refundable at the end also. These cards were handed out by reputable businesses, what happened? This is not right. Give us an explaination or our money back.

We signed up to receive a $25 visa card for every $100 spend in gas from gasoline purchases from a pre-selected brand of gas. We received 2 cards and none since September. Now the phone line is not open and the website is gone.

I also have not yet received any promised gas redemption. We have carefully reviewed the rules and have followed all of them. We have been sending in receipts for the past 4 months and have not received one gas card. Is there grounds for a class action suit?

I collected and submitted gas receipts from Aug. thru Nov. 2008. I sent in a check for $5.00. I was to receive $105.00 in gas gift cards for Speedway. I haven't received ANY. I emailed the company in Dec. they said sorry, things were running behind and it would be taken care of. I called their 800 number on Jan. 28, 2009. I was told that 3 months worth of the gift cards would be mailed out to me by Jan. 30, 2009. The other 1 month, plus the extra $5.00 I sent in would be mailed out within a few weeks of jan.28. Today, March 27, 2009 I called again. The 800 number is no longer working. I still haven't received any calls, letters, or gift cards from them.

I also got the free gas voucher from a car dealership, paid the $5 through paypal, wasted time collecting receipts and mailing them in. They answered my phone calls up until 2 weeks before Christmas. I received one gas card, but do not know if it is valid, since I haven't tried to use it yet.

Add South Dakota to the list. We purchased furniture with the promise of a "$500 gas rebate". Turns out it was Free Gas Central. I have faithfully sent in my receipts for 4 months and have received nothing other than an email acknowledging receipt of the first months receipts and voucher. I finally decided to Google ""Free Gas Central" and found hundreds of compaints. I feel like a dope falling for this fraud.

I mailed my $5.00 payment and the envelope returned to me. Mail error, so I didn't lose my $5.00 but I will be more careful next time. The dealership gave me the coupon for test driving a car, they should be more careful also.

I sent in vouchers for April only to have it come back return to sender, thats when I decided to call and the number is no longer in service

I got my certificate from La-Z-Boy furniture! Same story as the rest of you... sent my $5 and spent 2 months savings receipts and making copies. I just got my first batch of receipts back with a USPS sticker that reads "REFUSED-RETURN TO SENDER". Their phone is disconnected and the website is down, although I haven't tried any other site or contact. I usually turn the other cheek, but I'm going to ask Florida's AG to sick 'em! With the economy the way it is, I can't afford to throw even $5 away! Good luck, all!

I was ripped off by Free Gas Central as well. I mailed my receipts like i was supposed to only to have them sent back to me by the post office because the address wasn't valid. I called their number only to find out that it's not a valid number either. I am a college student who can barely afford to get by. I really thought that they would help me out with gas for my car atleast. Unfortunately, they scammed me like they did others. That's not right. I'm appaulled that Free Gas Central would do this to people. If people want to make promises, they had better keep them.

sincerely,
