When I turned up for appointment at this salon with my Groupon voucher I had a consultation with the stylist after handing in my voucher. All seemed fine until I was at the basin about to have my hair washed and the stylist told me I'd have to spend an extra £20 as my hair was too long and the product was expensive! Regardless of whether this was actually the case it put me in a really awkward position and made me very uncomfortable. It's not professional and not what I've come to expect from services through Groupon. The stylist told me the salon owner was unhappy with the number of people who had long hair taking up the offer as longer hair would cost £200 normally. She said she was doing me a favour only asking for £20. When I enquired about other customers and their response to this request for extra money she told me some were angry and asked for their money back through Groupon. This is false advertising. If I spend £65 on a discount voucher then I expect to receive that service at no extra cost.
