My dauter never recieved her Coraline back pac that I paid for.
The company told me that they did not have the item and I needed to
order something else. I did not want something else and they still have not given me a refund. It is now 6 months later, and the have stoped reponding to my emails. I did not have money to by her another back pac so she is using her old one still. She is very sad

I can second what "loveshopping" stated is true. Being scammed once is bad, getting scam again by the same group, is really bad. From what I learn and see, animeharu.com is the same group of scam artist this complaint broad had noted in the past. My friend ordered with animeharu.com for a test drive few week ago and learned they are drop shipper, they do not have stock. Most of the stuffs they had on the site are simply images, without actual stock on hand. They operated just like previous scammed sites. They take your money and help you order from their drop shippers, some of stuff were shipped oversea. So anything happen between the deal they had with their drop shipper in getting your order will be your lost. My friend he did not receive his order yet..(Crossing his fingers, they will refund him).
Animeharu.com are the same group of people that had scammed many in the past under many different store/ dot.com names (most of website have disappeared, but many still remain, like toweranime.com, animepromo.com, buyallanime.com, discountanimeusa.com. The most recognizable scam sites were foxanime.com and animeballz.com which cons many people before people realize the game these con artist were running. So beware, under this new face for these people are now animeharu.com, if you are lucky enough, you may get refund before they completely run with your money. It may be a matter of time before they start running again, and when they do, you are not going to see you money or what you ordered, and they next thing you know, a new site pop out by them again and a new cycle start. This group of people is really good in changing and opening new shops. Wishes all luck hope this help other from being con again and be a smart shoppers.

Want to go an anime shopping spree today, have hold off shopping a bit, just about to search on and found a new site under https//www.animeharu.com. I must say, at first I was very fond of the site and the variety of stuffs they offered. Did some research and to my conclusion, I am really sorry to say, DO BEWARE, this new site is also operated by the same scam artist under the previous sites name TowerAnime.com, BuyAnimeDVD.com, Foxanime.com etc... Several other sites that have this broad had been complained about, most of them have been closed. Their products and inventories are exact of those sites they have scammed people with. Most of them are simple picture fixture on the site which they do not have actual inventories on.

To my surprise, the site have only be up a month or so, but already have earn there are few phony 5 stars rating for that company rated by their own to get your trust. Those feedbacks were made on the same month their site came out. If you check out the user whom posted the feedbacks, it is obvious; they created the accounts on the spot and noted the great reviews about their company. Check it out. http://www.resellerratings.com/store/www_animeharu_12, I am not going for fall for this one. I hope other had done so with cautions.

From the look of their site at animeharu.com, they noted many items on in stock, but yet at the same time, those feedback are counter acting their inventories, noted they don’t have stock of the products, but yet, it is still great customers services. . After researching on, Funny thing is that someone commented about refund on unavailable stocks, and refund... but yet on their site, they noted, they won't charge until ship. So why in the world would they gave offered a refund if they didn't charge your account.
These people may try to get a combat in earning your trust on this new site. But since they have been running scam for so long under several site, they aren’t going to give up easy money. They will scam again. They had return under new fantasy new site, not sure how long will they be attempting to lure people in before they start walking off again. I hope people can check them out before getting scam again for these people.

Yes, indeed, Thalamoria, but now Tower (or whatever they are called by the time you read this) is posting fake praise comments on all the complaint threads against them and "voting down" all our complaints while "voting up" their lies.

u can try buying from these websites, i have bought dvds from them a couple of times without problems.

shopanimedvd.com
animeniacs.com
ioffer.com

the first 2 are US-based sites, whereas the third is like ebay - u can try buying anime dvds from this lady called Mdm_Autumn. I bought my stuff from her. The prices are not that cheap but hers is the cheapest on the site.

My advice to all is pay through paypal and check that the verisign logo is valid.

Several people mention AnimeBallZ with relation to FoxAnime, however, I ordered from AnimeBallZ (no longer in business) and received my entire order in two parts. The first took about a week and the second part took about three weeks. I ordered 17 "perfect editions" to start my animé collection and was going to order more after I'd saved enough money. Overall I was very satisfied, though the Slayers movies set was clearly a fansub bootleg and was not dubbed as listed on the site.

I'm glad to know to avoid FoxAnime and BuyAnimeMovie, etc. now, but does anyone have any suggestions for a legitimate source of region 0 DVDs since buying complete sets for North American releases (and not everything was released over here anyway) is way to expensive.

I am a purchaser of foxanime product which was one dvd.It took 6-7 weeks.I never order over 30 dollars and usually just 1-3 items. Also I always use a money order ..that way your card and yourself dont feel used.Sometimes, you can report the money order lost and with your receipt..get compensated. I recieved my order by sending an e-mail to customer service and I got an apologetic response. later that week I recieved my order. Also I sent an e-mail of thanks.Whoever was doing the shipping..The person will not match up some order numbers or lose them altogether which is wise to include your order number on your check, money order or the order blank application that came with the website. HOPE THIS HELPS

Avoid Avoid Avoid ------AnimePia.COM

www.Animexland.com is www.AnimePia.com! They were also known affiliated with BuyAnimeUSA.com. and Foxanime.com

If you type in AnimeXland, it is now being forwarded to animepia.com... For those whom are not aware and have been scammed by AnimeXland and their other affiliate stores and got burn out on cash, you may want to think twice before placing any order with those company. Best practice is research before you buy, many of these so call fake site, fake non verifiable Merchant logo. You can read all about their complaint here as well.

http://www.complaintsboard.com/?search=animexland&everything=Everything

I was once scammed by BuyAnimeUSA.com, not aware they are the same group of scam artist from AnimeballZ.com (which I got con as well) I have lost over $200 worth from these scam artists whom are out to get people money. To Date, I still have not have any success to get my paid products or able to contact them. I am now pledge to seek out these scam artists from scamming other online shoppers and will share them on this broad to on looker in hope they won't be scammed like me. It is bad enough to be scam once, but having to fall again to them under a different name is like having a brick hit over the head and called myself dumb.

These groups of con artist since then have operated many fake sites, from what I understand of other people experiences, they have gone through hell like me. Those sites will surface under a new dot com site, be operational for about 1/2 years or so then they get shut down and next batch of dot.com will surface to replace of the one they already scammed bunch of people and cycle continues.

Buyers do beware! Those guys are every good; they can whip out shops literally overnight. Put up fake verified merchant logo (which usually don’t even work if you click on it)

I just to have TO forewarned other buyers for what I have discovered a new face of Foxanime.com under

buyanimemovie.com (and the other one with “s” on the word “movie”)
buyanimemovies.com

Those guys simply never stop! Buyers do beware. Those guys can whip up a new store and load up on phony stocks with some catchy low price with ease in couple days of work. They are the pro in getting a shop literally in a day of work. They scam potential buyers and ran with the money next things you know, they shut down the site and launch another new dot.com . The cycle keep going and they rack in other people hard earned cash, I hope no one will get scammed by the same guy twice under a different facade.

Check out complaints from ripoff.com
/URL removed/

You will see they are the same group of con artists under DiscountAnimeUSA.com, also been known as Foxanime.com, ClickAnimedvd.com, Animexland.com, buyanimeusa.com, bestNhobby.com, macanimestore.com... as far as I am concerns.. You can see other noted affiliated websites of this broad. I won't be surprise they have other names under their sleeves.

BUYERS BE WARNED! STAY AWAY! FROM THEM AT ALL COST.

IT IS NOT WORTH THE PENNIES YOU THINK YOU WOULD HAVE SAVED... IN END RESULTS.
YOU'LL LOSE OUT COMPLETELY, NO PRODUCTS, NO SERVICE, NO MONEY. NO COMMUNICATIONS

I have been pissed for over a year now, because of Fox Anime. My husband ordered my the 'Gundam Wing', box set four mounths befor my birthday. I kept checking on the suposive 'tracking', of course nothing happened there. They had the tracking number, it was suposiveully suposta be sent out but after four mounths passed when my birthday finally had arrived it still had nothing changed, the shipping comp. never received the DVDs. Which boils my blood, I tried to hold out hope, of course I had done research the moment I foundout about him ordering it because I was shocked on the proce, thinking well it could just be a copy of the DVD, but no I found alot of bad reviews on them. Still tried to hold out a little bit of hope of course because I wanted it so bad and we do not have that kinda money to just waste like that. But of course I tried to be happy that he tried. But, the fact that he treied to get me the 'perfect gift', the gift I had wanted for years, and it was just out of my reach because of these mofos..boils my blood. ---- Sorry, I have wanted to right a review and needed to get this off my cheast finally.

I would like to say...

FOXANIME = SKAM! Do not buy from them.

Thank you, just needed to get that off my cheast.

My advice for all shoppers, keep your eyes open and research before you buy. Save yourself from hell having to deal with those dead beat companies.

I found another one site with very enticing price like animeballz, found them through google. It is called www.animepia.com I was about to make a purchase then I clicked on their authorize.net logo to verify their company, if they are real, guess what, they are bogus, fake, don’t even work. Similar to some of the scammer sites mentioned which had used the fake verify logo. That is a bad sign.

I found another site called ganzianime.com, and learned they are the company as macanimestore.com (which had many complaints like foxanime.com). Buyer Beware. I assume they are changing their name from macanimestore.com and launching a new one under ganzianime.com to scam more unaware customers.

I am not going to fall for that again. Shoppers can be a judge for themselves.

I oreded nion genesis evangelion, the end of evangelion about a week ago, and have yet to recieve any sort of shipping notice, yet the money was taken out of my account. now i normally order everything off of either amazon or ebay so i always get my items within a few weeks easy, but after reading all the shaddy ### reviews people have posted about them i am worried that i just gave my CC# to a scamsite and are not going to recieve my dvd.

NO ONE SHOULD BUY ### FROM SHADDY ### FOXANIME.

i am really angry that such sites are on yahoo shopping to begin with and that yahoo didnt check them out.

I have the same problem, I ordered about a month ago and all I have gotten is a confirmation email. Since then I've asked them about what is happening with my order several times and i get the usual automatic email and no reply...so called 'support team' talking to us about our complaints, so i sent them an email with a complaint because it was suposed to be part of a christmas present, and i also added that they need a better way of us contacting them other than email. I also thought you should be able to cancel your order yourself, from the order page you are given, so you automatically get your money back straight away and you get another email saying your order has been cancelled. I am not ordering from them again! But I do suggest Amazon.com - you get your order between 7-10 working days, well thats what my bro said, he said i was dumb ordering from this site LOL.

I placed an order with them for "Gankutsuou : The Count of Monte Cristo" on May 24, 2009. My twin brother also ordered "Death Note" at the same time as me. At first the process went really well and they sent all the emails that said they are processing the order and that it will be shipped in a like 3 days. Our orders shipped out and arrived as advertised. My brothers order was in great condition but I found that mine was a defective product. So I sent it back. They then sent me a "new" copy (I now suspect that it might have been the same one from before because the defects were in all the same spots). So I sent it back and asked to change my order to "Big-O" they apparently did change it, I dont know I have not gotten it yet. It is now December 2, 2009 and I have still not gotten anything back from them. I have been sending them constant email since September 14, 2009 and have not gotten an email back from them.

I am sad to say that I have most likely been a victim of a nefarious scheme.

I would recommend not buying from any discount sites, buy off Amazon.com, ### even ebay.com, at least you know you will get something.

MAYBE I AM A RECORD HOLDER. I PLACED AN ORDER ON AUGUST 18, 2009 FOR $193.86 AND TODAY IS NOVEMBER 10, 2009. AFTER RECEIVING THREE EMAILS WITH TRACKING NUMBERS AND AN UNKNOWN NUMBER OF PROMISES THE ORDER HAS STILL NOT BEEN RECEIVED. THEY HAVE BEEN QUITE PROMPT ABOUT OFFERING EXCUSES BUT THAT IS ALL. IF I WERE EMPLOYED BY THIS COMPANY I WOULD BE ASHAMED TO TELL ANYONE. I HAVE FINALLY DECIDED TO RETALIATE BY WRITING TO THE POSTMASTER GENERAL IN DC ABOUT THE MISUSE OF THE POSTAL TRACKING SYSTEM, MY BANK, THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND THE CALIFORINA ATTORNEY GENERAL. THIS MISUSE OF THE POSTAL TRACKING SYSTEM IS QUITE OBVIOUS. THEY TELL THE POSTAL SERVICE TO EXPECT A PACKAGE AND THE POSTAL SERVICE THEN CREATS A TRACKING NUMBER. THIS HAS HAPPENED THREE TIMES AND NOW I HAVE GOTTEN A DIFFERENT NOTICE FROM USPS SAYING THE PACKAGE IS COMING BY FIRST CLASS MAIL. SO WHEN I WENT TO THE POST OFFICE TO INQUIRE ABOUT WHY IT HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED I WAS ADVISED THIS IS JUST A NOTICE FROM FOXANIME THAT THEY CAN EXPECT A PACKAGE. THAT NOTICE WAS DATED OCTOBER 22, 2009. MY ADVICE I S "STAY AWAY FROM FOX ANIME."
I WILL CONTINE TO POST OF NOTICE DAILY BEGINNING WITH NOVEMBER 11, 2009 UNTIL THE ORDER IS RECEIVED ALSO, PLEASE DO NOT SIT BACK AND WAIT. IF YOU ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AS ME START WRITING LETTERS. RICHARD

i ordered from bestnhobby.com, which turned out to be one of foxanime . llc's fraud sites. I waited 2 months for my order number - it never came but yet credit was deducted from my card. I kept emailing them but it was foxanime who replied to my emails although i initially ordered from bestnhobby. By the way, i happened to come across bestnhobby on yahoo! shopping.

Foxanime kept telling me to give them more time, they promised to deliver... blah blah blah... but 3 months was all i could wait. So, i threatened them using the name of local authorities and surprisingly they did return me the money through paypal. I was glad that at least i managed to get my money back.

i have now switched to shopanimedvd.com and animeniacs.com. I'm not trying to advertise for these 2 sites, afterall, u can always google them and then you'll realise that they are at least reliable. i chose to order from bestnhobby because their prices were lower compared to other sites, and that's real foolish of me. Do remember to conduct background checks on such sites before making any purchase.

do help to warn other anime dvd buyers through anime forums or whatsoever, NEVER to buy from foxanime or any of their fraud sites! damn scammers!

I really wish I would have investigated this company two weeks ago when I placed my order with buyanimeusa. At first glance, they have a ton of stuff "in stock" and they guaranteed free shipping with orders totaling over $299.00. So I loaded up and bought $300 worth of stuff.

My order was processed two weeks ago, and I haven't heard anything from them since. And yes, they charged me the $45 for shipping. I have emailed them several times asking when I will have my order and if they are going to refund me for the shipping. Not a peep from anyone. I am getting really worried. I should have been a little suspicious when they didn't have an option to pay by Paypal, or a customer hotline to call, just an email address.

In a nutshell: Do NOT buy from this company, no matter how big of a merchandise selection or HTF series they appear to have. I would rather order from several places than to go through them and have them do the exact same thing before getting to me. Sure, it seems like people get their stuff in the end, but I want my stuff soon. Not a month+ after I pay for the stuff.

I have surrendered over one month ago with clickanimedvd.com an order, indeed, my product did not come yet. After one month I have stepped with the side in contact and they believed that my order "backordered" is and it ends to the week (at the latest in the beginning of the next week) would be sent and then I agree eMail. This was on the 12.08.09! Till this day I have still got no news whether my order was sent away. So I wanted to look at the side and ask once more, however, now the side cannot be opened any more. I have written again eMail, have got, however, still no answer. This makes me furious. Now I have fear which 125$ are simply away so.

I have read that somebody has made an attempt and has ordered there something. Besides, he has found out the following that the order has stepped 2 weeks after one with the side in contact which is shipped product. Indeed, I do not trust there any more on it, because the side is not a matter to open any more.

yes indeed, when i got my Dvd from foxanime (who claim they are in Nevada), the tracking through USPS said it started in Aneheim CA and although my packages return address said some P.O. Box in LV Nevada, it also mentioned that it was mailed from zip-code 92886 which turns out to be Yorba Linda CA.
