On 8/7/09 I took my 3 children ages 15, 12 & 4 years old to get their school clothes for the upcoming school year. I placed all the clothing on layaway that day. To take them all shopping in this store took almost four hours because I was buying or laying away anthing that they could not fit. I go to pick up their school layaway that was packed up in 2 boxes and was about $250.00 and they could only find 1 box after we stood there for about 45 minutes waiting to see if they could find the other box! Then they come with the lame excuse that they had a flood, the box got wet & the clothes were removed from the box! Where are the clothes... Your guess is as good as mine! The stuff that was in the box that they could find were underwears, hats, belts, a diego bookbag & a dress shirt! Is this what i'm supposed to send my 3 kids to school wearing? The front end manager offers me a 20% discount for the stuff in the box that they could find & another 20% discount for when I bring my kids back to school shop again! This is unacceptable because I am disabled & bringing them out the first time wiped me out! The reason for going out on a friday afternoon before everybody got off work was to avoid the back to school rush! Now that school is right around the corner, people are taking off of work to take their kids school shopping! I am very upset by this whole situation & am going to file a formal complaint with this company directly! I am going to have to file through the mail because there is nothing on their website where you can do so! So for all of you that are planning to put clothes on layaway at forman mills, ask them to place your items in water proof containers!

OMG a cashier at Forman Mills Glenolden, Pennsylvania just call a lady «  broke [censored] African Who thinks that this is Africa ». All this because the lady wanted her to remove some items from her stuffs. Wow this was in front of other customers standing in line and in front of customers service and other coworkers. I bought so many stuff from Forman Mills in the past 4 years but i think today is the last time buying from there. Just because we are africans doesn’t mean that we are broke. Customer service did nothing to make her shut up.

Forman Mills lines are always incredibly long and they never have enough staff to take care of their customers. The one located in Chicago on Cicero and North Ave. have 13 registers and they always only have about 5 open. The lines go back into the asile and the manager never call anyone to come to the register to help. Love the prices but whenever you go be prepared to wait in line about 45 min.

SOP for them. They used to loose LW on regular basis on Belair Rd. I heard from an ex employee that most of the lost merchandise is attributed to inside theft. It apparentaly is very easy for dishonest staff to get into the LW room and remove items from clothing boxes . It is not discovered as missing until the poor customer goes to pick it up. Great prices, lousy staff and adminstration.
