Foresee Results Content of Surveys, Product Worth

I was so annoyed by a ForeSee Results survey that popped-up this morning that I've spent almost 2 hours trying to read their website and find out more about their company. I can't justify spending any more time on this, so after writing this, I'm closing out all of the windows I've opened regarding this company.

Having had many years of experience in website production, advertising, and marketing, I don't think I have ever seen such a useless, misleading, and ultimately a waste of time and money marketing/analysis company. I agree with another reviewer, "Please make a point to file a complaint with any website that employs Foresee Results, " but has s/he looked at the list of clients that ForeSee Results has? Check out their list: http://www.foreseeresults.com/solutions/clients-measured-companies.shtml . Frankly, it is embarrassing to see so many companies buying into ForeSee Results pitch, and very disturbing to see that the government and non-profits are also investing in them.

After reviewing their website, I can only conclude that these companies are investing in ForeSee's products because they don't want to appear as though they don't understand what it is that ForeSee really does. Unless one is already in Marketing (and of course, the majority of ForeSee's clients must have in-house marketing people), there is barely a coherent sentence on their entire website. Example from the front page of ForeSee's website: "We help you improve satisfaction and impact business goals by measuring customers’ experience from their viewpoint, applying best-in-class predictive analytics, and conducting expert usability analysis."

So what do YOU think of the Emperor's new clothes?

I would really like to know how much ForeSee Results charges these companies, the government, and not-for-profits!

There is no way that ForeSee Results is getting any accurate or useful results from their surveys. Certain other products of theirs, such as "CS SessionReplay" - which records user sessions a la Big Brother - may be useful, I don't know. Their pop-up surveys, however, are poorly written to the point of incomprehensibility in some instances, fail to ask useful information, and actually seem to discourage real opinions.

I agreed to take the original survey this morning because I did think that the site I was on was innovative, interesting, and had potential to be a great healthcare resource and I was willing to give them my opinion. When I got to question, "29: If you could change one thing about this site, what would it be?", I answered: This survey.

(Note: although I agree with other reviews of ForeSee Results on this site that pop-ups are very annoying - especially when they by-pass pop-up blockers - but I had more of a problem with the structure and content of the survey than the fact that the opt-in for the survey appeared.)

I am glad to see others have noticed this problem. Left un-checked, it will only get worse. I proactively engage with the Foresee survey each time. I give little to no, or neutral answers to each line. The only point I stress on my survey answer is how the survey tarnished my experience, and that I will not likely use their clients services/products as a result. I also have a standard message to inform the host site of my dissatisfaction. The only real issue with Foresee's tactic is that it REQUIRES you to interact. Why isn't a link on the host site good enough? It's like one of those businesses that employ a person to save a sign - except they block you from moving along the sidewalk without engaging them. That wouldn't last long in the real world, as they would likely get punched.

Foresee Results Spam

I'm just plain tired of seeing Foresee Result popups within every e-store I visit. People have popup blockers for a reason. To make things worst, they appear at the worst time like when I first enter or when I'm in the middle of something important (like entering my credit card number). Popups are usually employed to convince people to visit websites. When I'm there I just want to be left alone!

To add insult to injury, their surveys are long, tedious, and intrusive. Of course at the very end, they don't offer you coupons or entry into a drawing of some sort. They have the gall to solicit further participation in other surveys! Seriously, peoples' time and opinions are valuable. Foresee Results make money by nagging and annoying web users. They're nothing more than spammers! We as consumers must do something by complain to all online retailers who use this company. It's a horrible way to treat your customers.

Foresee Results popup surveys

I'm sick and tired seeing their unsolicited and annoying survey popups every time I visit an online retailer. They appear when I JUST ENTERED a site I've never visited before, or when I'm focused on reading some information, or when I'm trying to do something important like entering my credit card number! People have popup blockers for a reason. Foresee Results is not exempt because their research is for profit. The bottom line is that they want to use our opinions to help their clients sell more stuff we don't need. Does any of the companies who use popup surveys realize that people HATE POPUPS? Please make a point to file a complaint with any website that employs Foresee Results.

On Windows, add "127.0.0.1 survey.foreseeresults.com www.foreseeresults.com controller.foreseeresults.com" (without the quotes) to your C:Windowssystem32driversetchosts file. That'll prevent any of your web browsers from reaching their servers to bring up the popup.

I agree with the previous posters. I've fought Foresee popups for years. I think because I had to turn on annimated for another service to work, maybe that is how foresee reappeared. My biggest question though is: are they randomly popping up, asking the questions, and then soliciting the web owner for the "survey results"? I can never find the right person at each 'foreseed' url that states they are using foresee's services. In particular, I'm incensed that my health insurance is with Humana (that's for another rant), that I MUST use the website according to their terms and conditions, and foresee pops up on what should be a confidential, (logged into claims for example) page. If I could determine if Humana did actually engage Foresee's services, then I think that class actions against websites might be the only way to get their attention.
