This is how it's began: After talking to this smooth guy named Dan Doncea, he explained that he will take care of my mortgage situation in 40 days. Now after I paid him $3500 and 10month later not even one string of useful information received. All I'm getting is "I'll get back to you next week" and for month I don't hear from him. I have spoken with Mike (who is the VP) 4 weeks ago and he promised me that he will give me a full report on my case 4 weeks ago. I have been calling their office for the past five weeks EVERY DAY, several times a day and neither of them is there, or attending 8 hour conference or have a never-ending lunch. These ###s just took my money and are taking me for a ride while all I was asking is to get a piece of information about my status.
Dont even give these losers your money!
These freaking losers have been avoiding me for the past 6 weeks while I was being really patient with them and now are hanging up the phone on me. I don't even know the reason sicne I have been very nice to them up to this point. I have been calling from my work and my tone has been very low and nice not to give them an excuse that I deman. I have left them over 50 messages and still cannot get a piece of information.
The interesting fact is that I called my mortgage company and they said that NOBODY from FMC had contacted them except for authorization for on January 15th...so that is it..they are complete scam..damn losers will pay...
I got their info from craigslist.org and called them to explain my situation. D. Doncea spoke with me and said that everything will be taken care of within 40-60 days...
I have been calling these ###s everyday for the past 6 weeks, leaving messages and voicemails, emails. They treat me like a ### and the ### will come out...they are absolutely unproffesional, fake and scamers...DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY..i will contact attorney general to report them...
I paid FMC $1995 to modify our loan in Feburary of 2009 and got the same avoidance and run around games as far as account updates were concerned. We ended up getting 2 rejection for modification letters from our lender. Our FMC rep asked if they could try one more time in August 2009 (saying they were close) and we agreed. Our loan never got modified, as of Jan. 2010. The only way we could get anyone to anwer the phone or call us back was by using someone else's phone (they clearly monitor caller ID) they would either answer or call back (given we didn't leave a message). In February I got a hold of owner, Dan Doncea, and he said that he would close our account and process a refund the following week. Two weeks went by- no refund. Played the "use someone else's phone game" and got a hold of Dan Doncea again to ask where are money was and he replied that "it takes 30 days to process a refund and I'm not in control of the refunds, but I'll try to get a rush job on yours." Over 30 days later-still no refund.
I'm now filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, State Attorney Gen., Federal Trade Commission, VISA, and taking him to small claims court. I would encourage everyone else to do the same if he has made promises to you and not followed through. This guy needs to be held accountable for preying on the desparation of the American public during this devastating economic down turn.

THEY DID THE SAME THING TO ME! 9 MONTHS LATER AND NOTHING IS DONE FOR ME. I APPLIED FOR THE MAKE A HOME AFFORDABLE AND GOT IT NOW FORECLOSURE MITIGATION CONSULTANTS TO TRYING TO SAY THEY WERE RESPONSIBLE. THEY IGORE MY CALLS, TELL ME MY FILE IS IN PROCESS, MAKE PROMISES AND REFUSE TO RETURN MY CALLS...SCAMMERS...I'M TAKING THEM TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT. THANKS TO YOUR POST, I CAN USE WHAT YOU SAID AS EVIDENCE, TOO. THEY TOOK MY MONEY $2000 AND HAD A GOOD TIME WITH IT WHILE I FELL BEHIND ON MY MORTGAGE. SCAMMERS! I WAS A VICTIM OF A MASS MAILING SCAM!
So how did you find out about this company? Online or in person? If in person I would suggest going to confront them in person.
