Ford ford f150 warranty issue

My 2015 F150(and apparently many other Ford models according to the dealer) has warped rotors after only 30K mi. The vehicle is not driven inappropriately nor is it used to tow trailers frequently. Ford's answer to this problem is to resurface the rotors which only makes them thinner and more susceptible to warping again when the vehicle is no longer under warranty period. This is BS! There is clearly an issue with the braking system and materials in these vehicles. Apparently, the only way to get a proper solution from a vehicle mfr anymore is to file a class-action lawsuit.

Ford 2009 ford edge

My 09 Ford Edge is having issues with the water pump going bad and there were no warning signs nor was there any lights that came on when the car died on me and I was smelling antifreeze coming from under the hood, the temperature gage did not even move as if it was running hot or anything. When running a code after a day later and not driving it when it started messing up the engine light came on and the code said the crank shaft sensor was bad, we replaced that then the cam shaft sensor code came on so we replaced that now the water is slowly leaking out and we find out you have to take the engine out to even replace the water pump?! I've been reading with other people's same problems I'm having and they had to replace the engine cause the water goes in the engine where Ford makes that stupid design by outing a water pump in the engine. Why does Ford do this...I believe to get more money out of the owner of the vehicle. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of on a vehicle and I've never owned a Ford until now but you can bet I will NEVER own another one. I have had nothing but problems out of this Ford Edge! When I buy a vehicle as much as I pay for it I would expect for it to last a little while without having to keep doing things to it every few months but this vehicle has been far from that and now I have to worry about putting more money into it for the water pump and I hope the engine don't have to be replaced due to the faulty engine design Ford chose when making the vehicle. I can't sale my Ford like this and get half of what I have into it back, would Ford like to buy this piece of crap back from me?! Has there been any recalls on the faulty water pump, probably not because Ford designed the SUV like this and that's only to get more money out of the owner. It's ridiculous and I will be getting rid of this crappy Ford asap and I will not ever spend my hard earned money on another Ford! I believe the saying now Ford stands for Found On The Road Dead! Because that's where it left me with no warnings or lights or nothing coming on at all before my car just died on me! Way to design a SUV, Ford! Ford has some nice cars on the outside but don't let that fool you cause it seems to me that all they want is to keep getting money out of you to replace big expensive things when you only have to replace a water pump but you really have to replace the engine cause of the stupid design!

Ford nfl - ford support for players' disrespectful, antagonistic display

I believe in this great country and the sacrifices made by so many to give us freedom; it saddens, worries and angers me to see such disrespectful and antagonistic behavior supported by Ford Motor Company. What the players and those along side them did, in my opinion, is hijack a sporting event, effectively stealing TV air time (I have not seen anything stating that they paid for the air time), forcing spectators to watch a disrespectful and antagonistic display. And, they displayed this behavior on the job.
How many people get paid to protest at work, and, get free national TV broadcasting of their protest?
What is their objective of showing such disdain for America ? What did it, or will it accomplish? How can they say all of a group, race, profession, country is bad?
There are thinking words and actions; and fighting words and actions. I believe that positive change is made by expressing words and actions that make people think. Only then, can people come together, look at the facts (not hype, not half stories or narratives, but the facts, whatever they are, and whatever the issue(s)) and work to figure out solutions.
No one group, profession, race, gender, religion, etc. is all good or all bad.
Inciting anger only creates more anger; what we need is to get real, use our thinking words and actions and come together to make this great nation even better.

Sheri, thank you for your great comments. I agree with you that there is no problem with raising issues but it must be done in the right way. As a military retiree who saw that flag drape the coffins of friends and comrades and served in funerals honor details that presented it to grieving family members, seeing the flag and the anthem disrespected will always create a visceral reaction that makes it very difficult for me to see past that disrespect. Maybe if the players and the companies that support the NFL figure that out, we can have constructive conversations regarding their issues.

Ford nfl players' disrespect of the american flag and our country

Having purchased Ford autos and SUVs in the past, I am disappointed in your position supporting NFL players' disrespect to our flag, our country and the members of the military who have sacrificed their lives for our freedoms.

As a result, my family and I will no longer even consider purchasing a Ford, as we refuse to support a company that turns its back on its customers.

Thank you for your support of the flag and our fallen service members whose coffins were draped with that flag. I was looking at purchasing from Ford as well prior to their statement in support of these displays rather than pressuring the NFL to end them. I ultimately purchased from another company.

Ford ford motor company sponsors of the nfl

691 Brockton Mountain Drive
Barnesville PA 18214
September 28, 2017

Attn: Sir or Madam:

During our adult life, my wife and I have purchased nine Ford Motor Co. vehicles. We always find your products to be reliable, comfortable, stylish and competitive in price.

Your company sponsors professional sports events through advertising during these games. Some athletes show disrespect to our country, our active military, me and my fellow veterans by not standing, or at times, not entering the field, arena; etc., during the performance of our national anthem. Their actions are not free-speech issues as described by some. All employers restrict the actions or speech of their representatives / employees in some form or another while on the job.

Our chosen recourse to voice our disgust is through money. We will purchase a new vehicle in the near future. Ford Motor Co. will not be given consideration as long as you support these people through advertising,

Ford vehicle parts/components

Dears
I had 2 Fiestas, 1 escort diesel and a 1st gen focus, all of them done 200.000km in my hands, without noticeable problems. The last car in use yet, is a 2or3rd generation of focus, diesel too, but the components quality isn't the same anymore. It seems that Ford has degraded/relaxed components quality. Why, would you ask? Ok this last bad car, has only 190.000km and it needed alrealdy a wheel cube, (such a thing that is in the meddle of the wheel. A driver transmission, two shock absorvers, and an alternator clutch, I never ever have heard that such thing exists, the compressor of the air conditioner. The car has not surpassed the target of 200.000 kilometers, and is showing such a list of problems. This is a model 1.6TDCI, Econetic, bought in 2017, october. There where also some more noticiable problems, 2 times in highway the motor stopped sudenlly, with the msg "motor avariado". Another time the motor lost half of the power. We discovered later that some tube of the compressor, has out of normal place. Time to time, there is a complain about changing the oil. We change at 25k kms, as demanded by the maintenance house, the car ask for that after 20k km. Ford is really down on components, and certainly I will never buy a new ford again.
Another complain: People on the authorized maintenance office, do not send the removed parts to the customer. How can I beleave that they were really replaced? They argued that this is a political behavior of the company and bla bla bla.

Ford nfl protest

Ive owned 7 Ford vehicle's over the past 20 years, 5 of them brand new. I was galvinized and swore I would only buy Ford after they refused a government bailout. But they desision by Ford to so quickly throw support for people who disrespect our nation is appauling. Ive served our nation for 18 years, and twice a day no matter what you were doing, indoors or out, you stood and honored the flag. Ive seen it drapped over 4 of my friends coffins, and ive personally handes a folded flag to a greiving wife. I will not give Ford another dime of my money as long as they support those who dishonor my nation.

Thank your for your service. I too have taken part in honor ceremonies. While I have no problem with players wanting to address social issues, I also refuse to countenance it being done in a way that dishonors the flag that has draped the coffins of too many I served with and was handed to the family members of too many heroes.

Ford nfl protest

My first and current car is a 2011 Ford Fusion SE, I love it and it has been a great vehicle with no issues. The service ant my ford dealership is always amazing and plesent. I am very disappointed in the stance Ford recently took in supporting these millionaire football players who get paid to throw a ball up and down a feild. I'm Canadian and I find all of this disgusting to kneel or sit during an anthem. Ford Motor Company better take a good hard look and get on this issue, most buyers are hard working blue collar types. We are the heart that keeps the company alive. You will loose this battle if you don't listen to the customer. Stop bandering to the elites and be loyal to the workers.

Ford faulty parts reported several times without any assistance

Faulty chair and parts of the seat that have been reported several times since 2013, no assistance in resolving the problem and just now I was told the warranty has expired on the 19/09/2017 and I need to pay for the the replacement.

Chair was ordered 2015 in EL and we went to George and when we took the car in for the service and they requested the chair from EL but was informed that they will not be able to send it. September 2015 reported in East London and the chair could not be ordered and parts were going to be ordered and that never happened. Brought the car in for the 45000 km service and was told that they will do it on the next service. The service was done in George as my husband was there with the car and after that I came to EL and requested the parts again but still no help. I brought the car in for the engine sensor and reported this and was told these will be fixed I must book the car in and will be done as they have the stock but the sensor was done that day and i was told no stock on site and have been waiting ever since.

Last week I booked the car for the service and reported this again and I was requested to bring the car in but today they they can not do it as the warrant expired 19/09/2017

We are customers of Ford in fact we have 3 pickups sitting in our driveway right now not to mention the many fords we have on our farm. We love your product. Our son has 3 Ford vehicles also. He proudly served our country in the USMC doing three tours in Iraq.

We feel you need to stand up against what the NFL is doing. NOW. the only thing that will talk to them is money. Please show us Ford stands for our country

Ford sponsorship of nfl

As a 20 yr veteran of law enforcement, spending 6 yrs. in the Army National Guard, and a ford fan all my life. I have found one must go after recent events. Since ford has decided to stick with the NFL over American patriots. I will be finding a new brand of truck to drive! I'm embarrassed to be seen in a ford truck everyday when reporting for duty in uniform... (end of a era)

Our Family has a Ford Escape, a Ford Fusion, and a Ford F-150. For years, we have been a loyal Ford customer. We bought Ford because Ford is a traditional American company, and we wanted to support the American Auto Industry. The NFL Player protests dishonor our Flag, dishonor our National Anthem, and are basically Anti-American. The NFL Players are attacking our Patriotism and our love of our Country. I find it hard to understand Ford agreeing with the NFL Players. Every decision has a cost. Since Ford is OK with the NFL Players trashing our Flag, trashing our National Anthem, and trashin our Country, then I have bought my last Ford. Everyone that loves our Country, need to send Ford a strong clear message, and stop buy any Ford products. Ford's position in supporting the NFL is an insult to every American that loves our Country. I have bought my last Ford. Ford no longer is supporting our Country. Ford is supporting people that basically hate our Country. Ford will end up regretting that decision. Time to look at GM cars and autos. GM makes some good strong trucks also.

I can't sit idle and and watch the NFL players disgrace our flag, our anthem, our country by kneeling during the national anthem. They have done nothing to preserve the freedoms we enjoy in this country, and never will. Instead they have taken action in an attemp to divide our country. The NFL players do not understand the consequences of thier actions. But corporations will. It gives me great pleasure to see the stocks of companies that support the NFL players through sponsor ships and advsertising fall in value. To do what I can to make a difference I will boycot; Comcast, Walt Disney/ESPN, CBS, Visa, Ford Motor Co., Nike Inc Anheuser-Busch, InBev, Microsoft Corp., McDonalds Corp., PepsiCo Inc. Under Armer and Bridgestone Corp. I will not be happy until the NFL fails along with the companies that support them. Jim Bennett

My family is a long-time Ford Customer, and currently own 2 Ford vehicles. Ford's decision to support the NFL players who aredisgracing and disrespecting our veterans is pathetic. My father was a marine who lost both legs in Korea to protect our country. These spoiled, coddled NFL players have no regard for our military, our flag, and our country. If they want to protest, they can do it on their own time. The NFL and Ford's decision to support them is disgraceful. We will NOT be purchasing Ford again!

Ford 2005 ford focus exhaust manifold and cat system

I bought a used 2005 Ford Focus(private sale)
I knew I would have to do some repairs on it due to the age, however
I never thought that the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter replacement
was going to cost over $2000 on this car not including the mechanics labor
costs of at least 4 hours at $100 plus per hour.
On other cars you can buy these items separately. What were you thinking?
What the heck can I do because I am on a tight, tight budget?
The car is junk to me and I don't even think I can sell it. You should
due something for people who buy this 2005 Focus. We are not all wealthy!

Ford nfl sponsorship

As a long time f150 and f250 owner, I am embarrassed to drive around in a vehicle that supports the NFL and the disrespect of our anthem. The sacrifices of our forefathers is held in high regard. Continued support and sponsorship in the NFL will no doubt cause me to seek another truck other than a Ford. I will not pass my money onto a company that supports the disgraceful actions of the NFL.

My husband and I love Ford vehicles. In the last three years we have purchased a new Ford F150 4 wheel drive and a new Ford Fiesta and others before that. We planed on buying two again in 2018, but because you have chosen to back the NFL players and their kneeling during the National Anthem we have changed our plans. We will not patronize anyone that makes a decision to support those [censor]. I hope there will be many others that choose to do the same thing. The players are a bunch of over paid [censor] that don't appreciate what this country has done for them. If they want to protest let them do it on their own time not at the game where people have paid high prices to be entertained and get away from the political [censor]. Sorry you made such a bad decision, you will pay the price.

Ford transmission in my vehicle sucks

My car has been in the shop twice now for transmission and clutch issues and now it seems again I will have to take it in for more transmission issues
Current mileage is 63337
the car revs past the 2rpm and jerks when accelerating. same thing happens when I coast or decelerate to a stop.
I was on the freeway and the transmission just went out. I had to turn the car off then on again and put it in drive quickly to get it to move out of the middle of the street. I could not reverse at one point.
No I need to take it in again because the car is jerking and revving weirdly and the "check engine light" comes on and off -- however, I just had work done on the care a few months ago (recall and extended warranty work)
And what's even more frustrating is that this is the second car I have gotten from this particular dealership that has stalled out on me of the freeway or have had some transmission issues.
They have already "so-called" fixed the problem? but seems like the problem is reoccurring. I have too many children (4 to be exact and one on the way) to be dealing with these type of back and forth on a car I bought brand new that should not have any problems

Ford service department/customer service concerns

I have worked with Mak Haik Ford (Houston) since the year 2000. I have purchased/leased 4 cars from them. I returned to the Houston location because of the customer service during and after the purchasing process., and of course, because I love the vehicles. Having moved to Austin, TX, I frequented the MAK Haik Dealership in Georgetown. The level of customer service and attention provided by the 2 dealerships is polar opposites. After the recent "lack of service" and poor communication by representatives in the service department, Julie Nichols, I have pretty much affirmed that I will NEVER do business with this organization again. She did not call me to notify of repairs/lack of repairs/issues with my vehicle, and she is rude. I hate that the Houston location has to share such as name and possibly reputation as the Georgetown location.

Ford 8c3z 4026-b part number

The local ford dealership has had our truck now since July 29th and no one can tell us when the part will be available. It tells us on line to contact customer service where customer service sets up a case then they tell you to contact the local dealer. What good is customer service! You can't get an answer and this is ridiculous that our truck has been there that long Very unprofessional. This truck pulls our camper and we cannot get the camper in for service. Is the dealership going to pay for water damage. I doubt it. We need answers. Why does customer service take your phone number when no one calls you. Ford nfl protest

To whom it may concern,
I would like to express my disappointment in your company regarding your public support for the NFL protest against our nation and our servicemen and women.
As a father of two boy’s serving in our military. I find your support of this protest totally offensive, disrespectful and very unsettling.
So knowing that this is what you feel is important for your company to stand behind, I too will take a stand.
I am small business owner of a Tool and Die company “The Mold Shop, Inc.” est. in 1969 and since our family purchased the company in 1980 all but one of our company vehicles have been Fords. I also am in the process of opening a restaurant “Thresher’s” in the Dundee, Mi. area and I own a number of other small business in the Toledo, Oh. Area.
I am just letting you know this because I feel that a company (Ford) who will not stand up for our National Anthem and turn their back on our Veterans, no longer deserve my financial support by purchasing any new company vehicles from Ford.
I also will post this letter in my other establishment right under the American Flag and the plaques of each branch of our military. This will allow all of my patrons to view my protest against Ford Motor Company.
I truly hope that your company will reconsider your support of the NFL protest and start standing up for this great country and the people who have supported your company when the times got tough.

Sincerely,
Blaine Wagner
President of “The Mold Shop, Inc.”
“ Incite Group, LLC”
“ Wags Property Management”

I recently visited the Shelby facility in Las Vegas in prep for a planned cash purchase of a high end Mustang, such as a Shelby special edition GT. I was ready to change from a long time Chevy and Corvette owner, but am no longer willing to support Ford as a result of its support for NFL protesting. The NFL has become a liberal, political organization. Ford continues to provide support to that which I do not believe in. Tomorrow I will look to purchase a new Z06.

To whom it may concern,
I have a small company in O.C. Ca and currently own 6 fords, 1 E-150 and 5 E-350's and spoke at length with you fleet manager in Orange, CA about updating all of my fleet at one time. I've secured financing and am ready to pull the trigger till my uncle told me about your support for the players protest over the national anthem. I'm aware your a sponsor of the NFL. Do you all know what the national anthem and the flag represents? https://www.facebook.com/newlypress/videos/1891444407786598/?hc_ref=ARQEpUDg-NdXXk2a0mAK_UBH6aGPoQnwUnbMkJqReYjF1aaFdZgF-U64XEeXQtG9B-A&pnref=story
I am shocked that Ford Motor Co. feels this way. I'm nobody, a small company that has family in the military and I can not support a company that does not support or understand what this country is truly all about. This is my only way to "Protest" your decision but I'm guessing I will not be the last. I'm 56 yrs old and though my company I have owned at least 30+ fords over the years as well as my family in Alabama has for many years and will now look for other alternative transportation for my company. This is sad day...

You have made a mockery of our flag and the veterans that have fought and died for our flag and country. People have died ! People have died for the players to live here in the United States. Freedom is not disrespect! I love our country. I love it so much that I would never disrespect it! I am so disappointed with the Ford Family. Shame on them. My husband retired from Ford. All my children drive Fords. My family will not be buying Fords in the future. We will not go to any Lion games in the future. That is freedom!

Ford very poor service!!!

On Tuesday 9/19/17 - I, Lyle Dale And my Wife Tamyra Dale took our 2014 FORD Edge Vin # 2FMDK3JC7EBB44734 to East Tennessee Ford Crossville, Tn. for a FREE Oil Change and Tire Rotation. We have 2 free oil changes and tire rotations and 2 free car details, because of not rotating the tires the last 2 visits. Guess what, I have a slow leak on drivers side front tire and that is how I discovered the tires were not rotated. Well here we go again, 1 week later and my slow leak tire needed air again and where is the tire located - drivers front. They did not rotate my tires for the 3rd straight time. I am DONE with East Tennessee Ford and It is 100 mile round trip to my next Ford dealer. So i think I am done with FORD. This POOR service has ended a long time relationship of over 35 years of buying new Fords Approx: 20 vehicles in that time period. I can not express how PISSED OFF I AM !

EAST TENNESSEE FORD (VICTORY AUTOMOTIVE GROUP) has the worst customer service at an AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP. A recall of an upper tow link on a FORD FLEX was addressed with the words, (WE WILL INSPECT THE TOW LINK). Parts department representative stated that Ford claims that they have the parts but they always have to be back ordered. During this response for compliance is my hand held letter from Ford to have the tow link replaced (ASAP). As stated in the letter from Ford, they have the parts available.
This created a heated confrontation previously generated by the failure of the service department to
replace the right side axle assembly. The service advisor attempted to convince me that the noise i was hearing was (TIRE FEATHERING). This Auto Techs stated that they didn't hear anything during three attempts to have this corrected. Issue resolved immediately by going to Cookeville Ford and Victory Automotive Dunlap Tennessee.
