Ford xenophobia

I own a Ford Ecosport. One morning the car died in the middle of the road and the dashboard showed "Engine Malfunction". The car was towed to Ford N1 City. The service people decided that I have to pay half the expense for the repair. The reason was that I had a service that went over. What I fail to understand is: after the said service[that i went over], I took the car in by N1 City because of an oil leak, and they did not mention about payment[they normally tell you as you are booking-in the car].

Why bring up payment now, when I had brought in the car before no mentioned was made of payment. This how I get treated after the flipping car died in the middle of the road and sitting in the car for three hours waiting for it to be towed. And the service [that I was supposed pay], they didn't make me pay then because I explained to them that when I went to Zimbabwe the car was on 56000km, and, for the sake of the car, rather do the service when we come back. They understood, and didnt make me pay for the service. I suspect this is a case of xenophobia.

As a comparison, I drive a 2003 model Toyota, the car have not died in the middle of the road, never.

Ford warranty and help

I purchased my very first Ford vehicle toward the end of 2015. It was a brand new 2016 Ford Explorer. I paid cash for this car and did not have to finance. I loved the look of this car. I have always bought GM cars, but decided to purchase a Ford. I love my car, however the tires are defective on this car. It has approximately 29, 000 miles on it and the tires are so bad, I have had to park this vehicle. The wires are coming out of the tires and it is unsafe to drive. A new car should have a longer life span then 29, 000 miles for it's tires. I have contacted the Ford Dealership in Knoxville, TN where I purchased it and cannot get anyone to call me back or help me with this problem. The customer service has always been great with GM and that is what I have been used too. The Ford customer service has been terrible. I can't get anyone to help.

Ford tires

Purchased tires at Bondy's Ford in Dothan Alabama did not purchase all 4 at same time, brought car in on Thursday, April 27th to be serviced and tires rotated since I was to travel on Friday, car drove funny when I got it back but didn't think anything could be wrong and during my travels the car started driving like riding a bull come to find out tire was coming apart so I had to change it and came to dealership today and they don't want to stand behind the products they sell, said I would have to purchase a replacement tire, that bull crap so I said I would contact Ford Motor Company and they agreed to replace that tire I believe they should have to replace all of them cause had that tire exploded it could have caused major damage to not just the car. This service department is in need of qualified service techs seems like every time I come to the service department I always have to come back due to something they have done or didn't do.

I own a 2013 F-350 2 wheel drive, dual rear wheels. The truck has 14, 000 miles, all highway with very little towing. My front tires are wearing uneven with the outside shoulder wearing more than the rest of the tire. My dealer checked the alignment and it was good. Truck drives straight with no pulling left or right. Tire inflation is good. Tires are General HTS LT 245/75 R 17 on alum wheels. Tires last rotated by dealer at 5, 000 miles. Dealer has no idea why the uneven wear,

Ford service at brighton ford

I made an appointment to have my oil changed and have them look into why my air bag light is on, on my 2016 Ford Edge. I dropped it off the night before for my 9:30 appointment. I then call around 11:30 to see if they have looked at my car. I was told that they may look at within the next day or so. I informed them I had a 9:30 appointment for today They then informed me that is just to get it in and that it would take up to 3 days to even look at. When I went up there to get my car back because I need to go to work the next day. They then proceeded to insult my line of work and having co workers smirking at me. Needless to say I have not gotten my problem fixed or oil changed.

Ford recent service experience at reinike ford in findlay ohio

Recently I had my 2014 mustang gt serviced at my local dealership in Findlay Ohio. 1st off I take VERY GOOD care of my mustang it has very low mileage and is extremely clean always. This is where my complaint starts. The tech who drive my car left grease on the steering wheel, ### knob, and door interior door handle. This was very upsetting to me. Then apon checking my tripometer I discovered that my car had traveled 14.3 miles between the time I dropped the car off and picked it up the same day. This to me is an unreasonable amount of miles for the tech to test my vehicle for the service performed. I am familiar with the service that was performed and see no reason for this " joy ride" . The avg mpg dropped from 18mpg to 13.5 mpg under the dealer watch as well which indicates to me the car was run hard, and on top of all of that nearly quarter tank of gas was used during the service session as well . This car is my pride and joy and a car I hav dreamt of owning since childhood. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of respect the representatives at a dealership wearing your seal of excellence on the building and even on the shirt that they r wearing. I feel extremely taken advantage of and disrespected. I would never recommend the Findlay Ohio dealership to anyone for anything. This isn't my 1st poor experience at this dealership just had enough!

Ford expedition

I brought a used expedition in may 2015 i had problems with it everysince i purchased this car now my motor is completely gone vehicle shouldnt have been sold r maybe there was a defect in this car .. im still paying my car note on it my name is stefanie wallace [protected] ive replaced several different parts on my car .ive made complaints w the bbb still no resolution. I think i was sold a lemon i feel this car has way too many problems. Its a 2007 expedition i was under the impression ford garanteed their parts.

Ford 2016 ford fusion

Sunroof leaks horribly, was replaced after 2weeks waiting on ford approval, new one leaks worse than original. The car is a lemon, the headliner is ruined. The car has mildew in it and is probably growing mold. Customer service is horrible, they leave you on hold for ridiculous amounts of time. My car isn't the only one, every time I take my car in to dealership they are working on a leaking ford.

Ford mustang's side mirror glass

i own a certified pre owned ford mustang 2015 under premium warranty.
Passenger's side mirror glass is ready to fall without any hits or reason.
i was told that it's not covered by the premium warranty and i have to pay for that, but it's not my fault. it's unacceptable for an almost new car with 37, 000 miles to have this kind of issues without warranty and i am a very disappointed customer

Ford selling ford ecosport with manufacturing flaws in india

Save yourself from FORD!

I am one of the first customers of Ford Ecosport Ecoboost in India. I bought this in July 2013. While the pick up etc were problem it compensated with its good looks and SUV feel. In the last 5 years I drove this car for hardly 28000KM means around 5500KM per year since I have one office Car also and I use it for personal purpose only.

The horrible journey with Ecoboost started from 2015.
Year 2015, November
I had gone with my family to met my relatives and Car didn't start. It was observed that FUEL PUMP stopped working. Since the car was under insurance I paid whatever money I had to pay and fuel pump was replaced.
Year 2016, July
One again the car didn't start and again the FUEL PUMP stopped working. This car of mine I don't take to outstation, this car I only drive and no one else and even petrol I get it filled from gurgaon petrol pump only. I am a good driver with experience of 19 years of driving Maruti, Hyundai and Honda City. This Car of mine is highly maintained and regularly serviced. No one can raise any question on driving & maintenance conditions. I was so scared second time that I agreed to buy extended warranty of 10K to protect me for any future problems. I wrote mails to Ford guys also that how come same problem can come twice, there seems to be some problem with the piece but Once again assurance was given from Ford India that this problem will not happen.

I am scared now, really I am scared now. Once again the car stopped and my family told me that they are not going to sit in this piece of crap again. I once again sent the car to dealer stating the fuel pump will not be working and I don't want my car back.
I am in soup on what to do now. I have lost confidence to drive this car now. I have spent so much money on Tow charges, Cab charges, increased insurance expenses, buying extended warranty etc and now I am not even sure if this problem will come again or not.
How come a car can have faulty petrol pump which goes busted every year. It’s a ccrap they are selling in India or Ecoboost is not suitable product to run in India. God has given me punishment that after driving Honda City for 7 years instead of upgrading I decided to go for this piece of crap.

Ford 2012 ford fiesta transmission recall twice

My vehicle was recalled twice for the transmission. This last time was to replace a chip in it which they did but on the way home from the dealership my stereo blowout's. I took it back to them and was told that the chip replacement had nothing to do with the stereo and that they couldn't understand how it happened. It was working just fine before they replaced the chip for the transmission. I took it back to them twice since the chip was replaced because my car still has some hesitation to it and was told that everything was fine and to just not go easy on the accelerator, I asked again about my stereo system and got the same answer of we don't know what could have happened to cause that. Nobody bothered to take the time to figure it out either.

Ford ford explorer 2013 in uae.. [protected]

Hi, gave my Ford Explorer 2013 to service center in UAE last week, got the car on 11th and paid 1000 AED to fix my AC and Breaks despite the car in under warranty and free service contract .. however the car has the same issues and the breaks have odd noise and makes me afraid to drive .. called the customer service to give a soloution either to check the car and repairs in the same day ( as they did not complete the repairing properly or to give me a replacement car in case it will take more time ... they simply reject and said give ur car first and the report will take 3 days due to holiday in UAE and after that we will decide whether to give a replacement temporary car or no .. am I suppose to stay for 3 or 4 days without a car because ur service center did not complete the job properly ? Is this what do u call a customer service ? Are u guys telling me not to invest more money with u buying a new car or even give a good recommendations about u ? Am I suppose to rent a car for at least 3 days as u guys not ready to help me ? U can either call me on [protected] or forward the complaint to the concern person

Ford terrible product (2016 ford expedition platinum 4x4)

I purchased a direct from the factory 2016 Ford Expedition Platinum 4X4. Three months after I purchased the vehicle the black leather interior started getting white spots all over the place. Went to the dealer who then called ford and ford motor company would only replace two door panels and the front passenger seat. Now as time has gone on, the leather is still fading, the plastic brackets that go around the front seats are loose and coming apart. The navigation system has turned off and the screen has gone black twice while I was driving and now the front sensor goes off for now reason while I am sitting in traffic. I have called Ford numerous times and have been told that I need to contact the dealer. But when I contact the dealer I am informed that it is Ford motor company that needs to make the decision. I spent a very large amount of money for this car only to receive a piece of crap car!

Hi, This is to inform you that what type of services you are providing i.e.pathetic and worst.I am seriously feed up from you guys .while purchasing the car you guys have promised me something and now you guys are behaving very wierd.I m sorry to say that ford service centre is cheating on customers.The worst service centre is gautam budda in noida, over there people dont listen to the customer they just argue .I have very bad experience, i own a car of ford i.e ecosport.I n which your guys are just fooling me out they are not doing they job properly, just charging money from me again and again.They dont provide the car within the timespan in which they promised. kindly look into the matter or i have to take legal steps regards arun kumar

Ford 2015 f150 white paint rust spots

My 2015 f150 has rust spots all over the paint. I have to scrub intensly to remove them each time i wash the truck. Keeps getting worse each time.
I talked to the dealer and they said it was salt from the road, well i just got back from florida so that can't be true. there is 2 other white trucks in my driveway from my 2 sons and they don't have any problems with rust spots and they are 17 years old.I took it upon myself to drive threw town and look at other 2015 to 2016 f 150's with white paint and they are having the same problem. they were told by dealer that it is sault from the road. with in a year or 2 this can be a serious problem.

Ford future ford, concord, ca

Today April 18 2017. I have never bought a Ford in my life till now. I have taken my 2012 F-150 to Future Ford with a Bluetooth problem. I have paid for it to get fixed and the problem hasn't got fixed. They want to charge me again to diagnose my truck to see if I need new modules. They have diagnosed it already the first time and they couldn't find a problem, though I have taken it in more then once, twice, three times. And the problem hasn't got fixed. Now there are saying it's been more then 5 months and I have to pay again. Everytime I call to schedule an appointment they have no techs available. They have no Techs especially on weekends. And when I did call and left messages I never got one phone call back. I never again will buy a Ford in my life. I regret buying this truck because of the service they provide. And to top it off they wouldn't drive me back home because they said traffic is an issue. It wasn't an issue when they took my money. As a courtesy to a customer they should do all they can to make sure that if they leave there car over two days or even hours that it shouldn't matter how traffic is to make sure that there customers are taken care off. I would like my problem to get fixed at no charge due how they have handle my situation and that my bluetooth issus has never gotten fixed even after I brought it in more then once. They should have put in new modules after the third time. Instead of having me come back over and over and then not returning my calls and telling me I have to pay again for a diagnostic test. They care less about how I'm so frustrated about it all. Thank you so much for wasting my time taking my truck in and I couldn't leave it because they couldn't give me a ride back home.

Ford service department of autonation ford lincoln wolfchase 7925 highway 64 memphis, tn [protected]

Today, I arrived at the Ford service department located at the above address. I spoke with a male white who introduced himself as Chad. Chad listened to what I had concerns about in regards to my 2015 Ford Mustang (1FATP8FF0F5366299). The vehicle was brought in for side door latch recalls, NHTSA 16V643, Recall Number #16S30. I was informed that they would get to it and call me later. Their was no crowd and I wasn't advised of a abnormal wait time. I dropped my car off at about 08:00am on 04/18/2017. Chad advised me to give him my phone number and took the keys advising he would call. Due to their being no crowd on this Tuesday morning, I called the service department back around 12:38pm to check on the progress. All of a sudden, I'm told by Chad that they may need to keep my car one to two days. This is my only means of transportation. I was given no option for a replacement. I find this unacceptable and bad customer service. I would have never given my vehicle to the service department knowing that I was not prepared for this. I was informed that my car was not even looked at as of yet. Please correct these bad customer service habits and I would like an apology as well as my car repaired!

Ford transmission malfunction

Dear sir/ madam,

I bought brand new ecosport in 2015 (End of 2015) and having them in jan 2016.

Since then I am always facing a transmission mal function problem.
It doesn't only wasting my time for spending time sending them to be repaired, when it happen it also make me having "heart attack" since they suddenly stop in the middle of traffic.

I am writing this statement since I really need a good respond from ford international since it just happen again this afternoon, they just stop (Engine off) in the middle of the traffic (Highway)

Ford powertrain failing at 40, 000 miles

The truck has 42, 000 miles; and had transmission fluid leak. It was towed to the dealership where the smart tech pressure tested the torque converter, and found that it had a crack in the weld portion of the torque converter, which was the real cause of the substantial leak. We were told it was a defect in Ford manufacturing. Called the Ford customers service number 4/17 where somebody who barely knows the part names took down the information. I was told very cheerfully to "have a nice day"...hope Ford stands behind their products.

Ford cheap product

I own a 2014 Ford F-150XLT stock 18" wheels and rims, and my complaint is on a part. The Factory lug nuts have a sleeve over the actual lug nut itself, and those are the problem. They slip, crack, and deform causing huge issue(s) when changing tires. I had problems with more than one while changing a flat tire on a very busy highway.I can't believe Ford would install worthless parts to save mere pennies and cause their customers such headaches. I changed mine with aftermarket ones, and couldn't be happier. I've been driving Ford pick-ups for 30 years, so please don't make me choose another because of cheap materials/parts.

Ford ford kuga

Dear sir, I am writing to you from turkey as one of the ford user in my country. Ford kuga which is sold in us as escape the suv I have. I would like to contact with ford global but I dont know whether this address is correct or not. The reason I write to you, I have a ford kuga 2015 suv model 1.5 lt ecoboost at 182 hp. When you look at the gasoline consumption it is mentioned 7, 4 lt/100km (Outside city). But in reality it consumes more than 10 lt. I tried to get a solution from local distributors they asked me to fill the petrol up and come to service then they would check it. I refused it so I could not get a satisfactory answer. Can you please check it for me. Best regards.
