Ford 2016 ford focus

2016 focus I bought in 2017 from laurel ms. Ford leaks water bad on passenger side, drivers side not as bad, I can't even wash it because the passenger side floods, when it gets dirty I use wet towels to rub it down all I get from the ford place & body shop is this is normal dumb as I am know this is not normal the body man don't know what he is talking about, the doors on passenger side don't fit right causing dirt & water from the bottom the doors up to the roof is where the water is coming in they keep telling me this is normal I give up trying to explain to them, I need someone that will listen & try to help me. Ford dealer add ons at time of purchase of a new vehicle at a certified ford dealership

I purchased a new 2018 ford edge titanium model. I went on the dealers web site found the car I wanted saw the price they were offering it for, contacted the dealership to get a drive out price. They emailed me the price and it had $1196.00 worth of aftermarket dealer add-ons when I asked what that was for they told me that it was for an alarm system, window tint, and wheel locks. So when I went to the dealer ship to purchase the car they showed me the list of aftermarket add ons the had posted on the car which was $399.00 for alarm, $299.00 for window tint, $199.00 for wheel locks, and get this $299.00 for nitrogen filled tires. So I asked them to show me where the alarm was installed and how it worked they showed me a little black box that was zip tied under the dash with a tag on it that said ford motor co. And when I asked the service manager to show me how it worked all he could do was make the alarm go off only like the factory alarm works that came on the car from the factory so he said the add on alarm makes the factory alarm more sensitive, and there wasn't any form of paper work or instructions for this so called alarm to explain how it works how to make adjustments on it or what it will take to set the alarm off so when I asked them about instructions they said there wasn't any. I also told him I didn't want to pay $299.00 for nitrogen and that he could take it out and put regular air back in the tires but wouldn't take the charge off because he said they already paid a technician to put the nitrogen in the tires and I checked with the parts department and could have purchased the wheel locks myself for around $50.00 that they charge $199.00 for and I know the car comes with tinted glass on the rear doors and the windows on the car behind the rear doors so its only the front door windows that need tinting and you can go to any window tinting shop and get the most expensive tint they offer for no more than $175.00. I understand that they are in business to make money but they don't even give you the chance to decide if you want these options they put them on their vehicles before they put them on the lot for sale. So in my opinion this is an extreme case of price gouging. I really think the alarm they put on really doesn't do anything more than the factory alarm that comes on the car as standard equipment. I really think that the alarm and the nitrogen in the tires is a real scam because there is no way to tell if they really put nitrogen in the tires or just put on a set of valve caps that indicate there is nitrogen in the tires. I would just like to have the option to either purchase these option or not purchase. The next day I tried to call the finance person that handled my deal to ask about another charge that was built into the price but shown itemized on the work sheet when I bought the car it was called advantage plus option for $399.50, I left him and finance manager messages all day but never was called back this was on saturday so monday morning I started again trying to get ahold of someone in financing to answer my question finally monday afternoon I talked to the finance manager and I asked him if this was something I could opt out of and he said yes and to call him back on wednesday because the woman that handles that was off till then so I did call back and he gave me his direct phone number and he took care of it and sent me a refund. Then a week after I bought the car I tried to call the service manager back to ask him more about the alarm the put on called the dealership at least 5 times to talk with him and left him 2 messages and also called to speak with the advocate for customer service who sent me a letter saying if I wasn't 100% satisfied with my experience to call her, I called her at least 3 times and left her 2 messages but heard back from no one so that evening after trying all day to speak with someone with no success I emailed the general manager who had sent me an email earlier in the week which i'm sure is an automatic sent out email to let him know of my frustration on just trying to get someone to call me back to answer my question. Well it was but about an hour later that the general manager called me and had the person I was trying to reach all day right there in his office to talk to me, but he couldn't tell me anymore about the alarm than what he told me the day I purchased the car. I don't mind paying for things I receive but all these add ons seem way over priced when I not even sure some of them are even legitimate.

Ford alarm system on 2016 c-max energi

I purchased a 2016 c-max energi, first sold in 2017 in april 2018 with 1, 703 miles showing on the vehicle. From the first day of purchase the alarm when locking with the fob or manually locking the doors and car, causes the alarm to go off. Sometimes 2 or 3 minutes after locking the vehicle. I have taken to the local ford dealership in valencia, california over 4 or more times and they cannot repair and suggested I contact ford directly. The vehcile is fine otherwise but this problem is consistent and problematic. Please advise. Thank you.

Ford 2015 ford mustang ecoboost premium

I bought a 2015 ford mustang ecoboost premium with approximately 55k -56k miles in october 2016from gwinnett place ford. Three months later the transmission blew. Luckily I had only made it to 58k miles because of the warranty was ending at 60k miles. It took the ford in smyrna forever to fix my vehicle. I got it back and then about another 4 months later the braking system went out while I was driving to work. I no longer had any warranty so I had to pay out of pocket. Costing me $3k, when I finally decided to put it into the shop again in march 2018. Now at 73k miles in may of 2018 a weird knocking noise similar to when my transmission blew started again. I sat the car down because funds were tight and I couldn't afford another $3k charge.in december of 2018 right before christmas I towed it legacy ford in mcdonough and now they inform me it'll be $6, 500 to $7k because the car needs a new engine. There's a defect on fords turbo cars that they refuse to put out a recall because they'll lose quite a bit of money. I just need them to pay off my loan because I have been paying for a broken car for 2 years.

Ford shake in front end and steering wheel "death wobble"

This keeps occurring while traveling at about 70 mph and I hit some kind of bump in the road. The front end shakes along with the steering wheel. It doesn't stop shaking until I slow down to about 30 mph. I brought it to the dealer and they changed the drag link and the steering dampener shock. A couple of weeks the shake occurred again twice while driving on the highway. It is in the shop right now again and they are going to add or adjust some shims. I am sure this will not fix the shaking and the shaking will occur again. I believe some major parts in the front end need to be replaced, like the shocks or springs. Ford needs to address this issue and come up with some kind of recall before this shake ends up injuring someone at these high speeds.
This is on my 2017 f250, diesel, 18, 000 miles.
The dealer states that this is happening to other trucks of this style, so im sure it is not just my truck.

Ford bait and switch advertising

BBB currently shows 59 complaints.
Too many ongoing complaints found on 'yelp, ' dealerrater, Edmonds, etc
It's real simple. ...Read the reviews and turn the years of complaints over to someone of authority that will stop such tactics.

I am beginning to think this is falling onto deaf ears. This complaint is about allowing
a car dealership that continues strong, unethical tactics, blindsiding a customer. This complaint board is either capable of helping the next victim, or maybe not. Fact is, only strong, above average intelligent people will go to the trouble of filling a complaint.

As a committee who claims it wants to help, look at the many many complaints available for you to act on. If you choose not to, then what is your purpose, your worth?
This isn't about me; I'm speaking for what is fair, and for what is getting ignored for
way too long!

Ford service department

First oil change in my 2018 mustang gt they only put 8 quartsof oil in I drove it 132 miles before noticing oil pressure gauge fluctuating took it back after adding the 2 quarts they forgot to add since it requires 10 quarts how do I know thats what the car requires but not one person at maloy ford jasper alabama did? After getting told that I was wrong about the oil requirement and showing a video I took of me checking the dipstick withno oil touching whatsoever and showing my owners manual they reluctantly agreed I was right and gave me free oil change for life card... Couple months later I make an appointment for second oil change I have to work to pay for my $40, 000 car so my wife takes it in for me... I tell her to send me a pic of the receipt and please do not start my car until I see the pic even though the service dept started it up and drove it to the front of the lot... Guess what? Only 8 quarts again! My dream car! My first new car! The same car that I only hear negative things about online from engine failures to ticks to engines being replaced numerous repairs having to be done... Once again these same people try to tell her 8 quarts is correct basically telling her I dont know what the hell im talking about... Once again prove to them im right and when I get off work try to call leave messages nobody returns my calls or any response back... Im wondering if every 2018 mustang gt around jasper alabama that has been serviced there are 2 quarts low... I would bet good money on that... So here we are im sitting here pretty much scared to drive my brand new dream car because im worried about engine damage so where do we go from here? I have 5 yr 50, 000 mile warranty but thats not good enough for me I honestly dont know what I want but being ignored and lied to is not it so now what? Ford service dept.

We brought our 2015 Ford Escape in for oil change, tire rotation; the service man told me they checked the transmission fluid and it had metal flakes in it and recommended
that the transmission should be repaired. They said it was under warranty but it would cost me $100.00. They indicated it would take 9 to 10 days and would be
done after Xmas; approximately the 27 or 28. We called 3 days after Xmas and service
dept said the parts were still not in. We called on 01/02 and service dept told us that
they would not get part til 01/04 and it would take at least one week to complete.

At this point I requested a loaner car and was told they would put me on a list.

Is the dealer/service dept being honest? Or does Ford Motor have a problem with
the parts dept.

Ford dealership

I went to a ford dealership to buy a 2018 fx4 f-150. But before that I emailed them for a otd price. Got the best price went to buy and it went up 4, 000.00 dollars the same day. I was not happy and left. But decided to go ahead and try to work it out regardless of that. Long story short I was called a liar and accused of wasting their time in writing/texts. The reason I wanted a ford was because my company "sherwin williams" uses ford fleet world wide. After all this I talked with co workers that have had the same issues as I did. So I wonder why my company even uses ford at this point with all the other capable companies out there that would more than be happy to assist. I am in shock over this and plan to tell anyone that will listen to me. I plan on sending a vast email of my experience and educating people what happened to me. This happened 1-2-2019. All I wanted was to buy a truck for the out the door price I received in writing.

Ford lug nuts on my escape

I guess I am just another customer who has to pay for new lug nuts on my 2014 ford escape.
I have been driving for over 58 years and was shocked when I went into the dealership to have my vehicle serviced, I purchased a full maintenance program, and they advised that my lug nuts which only they touch when servicing had to be replaced.
Will be looking at purchasing a new vehicle next year and will have another lookout for item on the agenda.

Ford car & repairs

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Cars & Repairs
The issue that I have experienced was: I want to make a complaint. My car has been in the shop 3 times within a year for the transmission, We were told they had to put a new transmission in, my warranty had just run out and the gentleman gave us a discount my car was there for a week, I borrowed the money to pay for it then a couple of months later the car transmission was doing the same thing, so I called and the guy said we never changed the transmission and I was upset, because that is what we were told and the guy that gave us the discount on the transmission was no longer working there in fact most of the individuals were not there. Anyway I was told they replaced a part on the transmission when I brought it back the second time I was very mad, but this time I am going to get an attorney, because it was
not just me there when we were told they had to put a new transmission in and we were told how much. I shouldn't have to get rides to go to work everyday when I'm paying a $411.27 payment every month because I cant drive my car. It has been parked in the yard for over 3 months after being out of the shop for 3 months for the 2nd time. Another thing, my air conditioner was working just fine when I
took it in to be fixed last time and when it came back it didn't work, and he told my husband that something was broken or messed up and I said I don't believe him it was working fine when I dropped it off. I have always bought and driven a Ford but this has really turned me against Ford. I will never purchase another car from Ford. I am also sending a letter to Ford Corporate Office. The really bad
thing is I really depend on my car to get to and from work and to take my parents to and from their doctor appointments my dad is at home on comfort care and I cant
even do that we have to pay someone to take them. I feel like I have lost all around. I'm tired of paying for things that don't get fixed or only work a couple of months. I had not contacted Ford because they hang up on me when I call I have sent emails to the Ford Motor Company in Michigan.
I'm pretty sure they will say they fixed the problem again and yet again it will cost an arm and leg and I am not made of money. I have not driven my car since the end of September. It occurred on: 24/09/2018 the whole front jumped and the car would not go forward. I want it fixed what we have already paid them for and to fix all the recalls. I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.

Ford dealership stole my truck

I I am a 67 year old female who brought my 2005 f150 in to the brinson ford dealership in athens texas because it had trouble starting. They kept it 3 weeks then finally called me saying it would cost around $537 and be ready in 2 days. I went to pick it up they said it needed a new engine and it would be $7300, it only had around 160, 000 miles. I am on on social security and could not afford it. They tried to check my credit by sending out 15 inquires to different creditors causing my credit score to bomb plus I was never told about them doing this. They stole my truck, lied to me and messed up my credit. I have always drove ford and this really hurts that this happened. They wanted to put me in a new car but it was not what I needed I need a truck and I do not want a new one. I am still upset I had to get texas dmv involved.

Ford ford extended warranty

I have extracare ford extended warranty. After spending an hour plus on the phone with the warranty department, and being put on hold several times, I was told my part was not covered.in my contract it says it is covered. The person from the warranty dept says it is not and got into semantics. No where in my contract does it say it is not covered. I need a new heater box assembly because the part inside is stripped causing my vents not to work accordingly, and the tech said they don't make just the "part", I need a new assembly, and warranty says they won't cover it, that it is not part of the assembly. How he came up with this? It sounded like he was digging deep to find out how not to cover it. They decided to cover or not cover something even though it is in my contract to be covered? I paid a lot of money for this warranty, and after being told it is not covered, had to pay 200.00 for diagnostic tests and left with nothing done. Am very disgusted as how warranty handled this situation. I've never used them and seems I can't use them, and my money is wasted. I want compensation, and I will be filing a complaint on the warranty. Ford pushes these warranties on customers saying they are high value, and how you will always be covered. I have all my info and I will not be posting it all here. If it was to be cleared up to my satisfaction, i'd love a call or email to move forward. As of now, I plan on cancelling my policy, and getting in touch with the bbb, and let them know what fraud took place on my end. How ford warranty doesn't want to cover a heater box that broke internally when it clearly states that heater box assembly is covered seems like fraud to me. Ford service dept paramus all american ford

I purchased my ford f150 from paramus all american ford and I received 3 recalls within a month! I purchased my ford f150 with you guys, I made an appointment and it was 4 weeks in the future due to no availability. I was the first one in at 7:30 in the morning on the appointed day. My service adviser (raul) told me my car would be done by 2:00 pm. Raul called me at 4:30 pm to tell me that my car had not even been looked at yet! Were you doing me a favor by telling me that? You did not offer a loaner car, you did not offer a ride! I had to take a taxi home! What if I could not afforrd a $60.00 taxi? What if I stayed? Would you have set up a cot for me to sleep on? When I came in on the next day at 4:00 pm raul threw the paperwork at me and told me to go to the cashier. I asked for an explanation of what was done to my car and I was told that there was no time to explain recalls! You guys had plenty of time to lie to me! You had plenty of time to not look at my car! I called raul and asked to talk to the gm and he hung up on me! It took me an hour to talk to the gm and he just transferred me to a service manager so he could tell me that is was too late to do anything about it! He told me that service appointments were not gaurantees, he told me that it could take a week and if I did not like it to take my business elsewhere, I believe I will but I will write as many negative reviews as I can. I have an appointment to talk to the ford vp of customer service to express my extreme displeasure with paramus ford. If you dont want to fix the problem I will fix it for you! Maybe I can get ford to pull you dealership since you treat your first time ford customer like garbage! You wasted two days of my time now its time to make amends!

Ford ford mustang 2018

I bought a 2018 mustang on june 13, 2018 since the day I picked it up having problems with the transmission not shifting properly. I bought the car from heritage ford in modesto ca. I just get the run around so I took it to price ford
In turlock ca. The service tech drove the car and noticed how hard it shifting and told me to drive it in sport mode. I didn't buy a car to drive all the time in sport mode. You've given me no alternative to sue ford for this problem. I have talk to

I won't be alone in this suit ending up to be a class-action lawsuit. I will be contacting my local tv station that has a call-curtis to get this out for more ford

Ford brakes

Dear sir / madam,

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: cars

The issue that I have experienced was: issue 1 : hi, I bought a car at ford ballito in march 2018, as the car was new I was given a permit for a month up till april the 4th. They guy who was helping me was carlos which is who I bought the car from. Getting closer to the expiry of the permit I then contacted the dealership and told them my permit will expired and its a risk if I get caught. The permit finally expired and I told them and been fighting with them that I need my number plates. 2 days after the permit expired I got a call from carlos saying that I must come to ballito and collect my plates because I was angry because they keeping empty promises. On my way there I got stopped by traffic police who then asked me to explain why am I driving with expired permit and I put the phone on loud speaker and contacted carlos (ford ballito) and told him he must explain this, I had to pay r200 (bribery) which the money was later paid back to me by gerhard (manager fored ballito). On my way by umvoto toll gate I see carlos (who said I must go to ballito to collect my plates) going my opposite direction. I phoned him but he did not answer my calls. When I got to ford ballito I find out that he lied that they have the plates, the plates were not ready and was going to be ready after 4 days. Now I drove 390km for nothing and risking my life and back another 390km. I was given another permit which is against the law to use it. After 4 days my number plates were couriered to me. I am already an unhappy customer.

Issue 2 : in september the front brakes started to give me a problem, they were worn out, reported the matter to my dealership and the car was towed to richie ford in richardsbay where the brakes were replaced, I was not told what the problem was when they replaced it, with the new brakes on the car 2 months later (november) they started doing the same thing again but now they got worn out within 2 months where as the previous brakes got worn out within 6 months. The car was due for service so it was booked at ford empangeni dealership to be serviced and check whats the problem with the brakes because I thought its impossible that the brakes get worn out so quickly and mybe the problem with the car is the suspension and not the brakes, according to ford empangeni they checked everything including suspension and they said the car was fine but the will decline changing the brakes because according to them they said I brake to hard and the brakes are making a noise, I told them that is impossible and they are lying when they say the brakes are making a noise. Then all of a sudden they saying they didn't say that the brakes are are making a noise, changed their whole story (from brakes making a noise and me braking to hard) to saying that the brakes got damaged because I drive in bad conditions. I strongly disagree with any of it, they are just speculating without any investigations. They first told me the brakes got damaged because of I am braking too hard which was lies, then after they said the brakes are making a noise, I have everything on record, all of a sudden now they say the brakes actually got damaged because I drive in bad condition places, question is how do they know where I drive my car? Have they been to places where I drive my car? These set of brakes were fitted this year september and they cannot tell me the brakes can be worn out so quickly even before first service of the vehicle. Now they say I have to bring my car to them or any other dealership closer to me, they want me to risk my life ‘'again' to drive this car to a dealer ship. No I will not do that, I have risk my life enough with this car, why wasn't I told to go to another dealer ship on the very same day the car was at empangeni for service? Do you guys maybe take advantage of customers like this or you do it to all you customers that are relying and committed to the brand ford. This has been the worst experience I have had at a dealership. I have risked my life way too much, I will not risk it again. I have attached the e-mail also, I cannot upload the recording file, it doesnt want to, if you have an e-mail that I can e-mail to I would appriciate it. Ford 2011 ford f-150

My Ford F-150 is an automatic and it has a problem when driving the transmission will shift down like in neutral or first gear causing the vehicle not to accelerate. Potential driving hazard. I never know when its going to happen and it is not with consistency. but often enough for my concerns. I took it to a ford dealership and of course the problem did not occur and no codes showed on the diagnostic test. Service manager says call back if it happens again. In the mean time I did some research and found a recall on this same year and model. It happened again, so I called the manager back. My vin number is not on the recall list so they would not honor the recall. My question is, is it possible for this to happen to another vehicle, same year same model but different Vin number? I am still having this issue.

Ford warranty work on my truck for 20 days in one month

Ford uses their employees like puppets in a string rather than letting them fix the problem they have diagnosed. Ford hotline has caused my truck to be out of commission and in the shop for warranty work for 20 days as of today within the last 30 days. This is the 5th time we have had a DEF pump replaced within 36, 000 miles. I have purchased all my fords from the same dealership for over 15 years and i absolutely love ford products but i am beyond disgruntled with knowing I'm about to pay a huge note on something i haven't had for 20 days!

Ford 2018 f250 powerstroke

I purchased a 2018 F250 for a little over 66, 000$. I had just crossed 30k miles and it feels like it wants to leave the road when I hit a bump on the highway. After doing some research I have found that "death wobble" is a serious problem with these trucks. I took it to the local dearler where I bought it and the man I spoke with said that he is currently working on 5 of them and that Ford does not have a fix for this problem! Nor will they cover the alignment issue after 12k miles. After my truck experienced this for the first time my steering wheel doesn't match the tires and the truck is pulling to the left! Why in the hell should I have to pay for a brand new truck, under warranty, to get fixed? It is extremely unsafe to have to slow to about 15 mph on the freeway to get the bouncing to stop. I spent 16 years in the Army as a certified wheel vehicle mechanic and know that the trucks should not be doing this. Someone, anyone, please explain to me so that I can understand how this is right!

Replacement canisters for the kit are not available. Called several dealerships, and all of them have this part on back order with no date for delivery. Some suggested that I might get more help by calling Ford directly. Did that, and got no response other than I'll just have to wait.

What am I suppose to do if I get a flat? Call customer support? Not happy that Ford cares less about their customers then they do their bottom line.
