Ford 2007 ford ranger

For the past 5 years I had repeated, annoying troubles with the SecuriLock system. The truck won't start, the SecuriLock indicator is blinking rapidly, and I have to have the truck towed. Frequently, when it comes off the tow truck, it is OK again. Over the past 5 years I had to spent several thousand dollars for replacing the PCM power relay, the Instrument Cluster Control Module, the PCM Module, and several sets of keys. Nothing has led to a permanent solution.
It appears that there is something terribly wrong with the SecuriLock system in my truck. Ford should either find a permanent solution or greatly boost the resale value of my truck which otherwise is still a great vehicle.

Ford airbag recall

1ZVFT82H655131833 2005 Mustang
To whom it may concern,
I am sending you this because I have received the urgent recall email, however, when I take my car in there are no airbags available to fix the problem. It would be a great help if Ford would make sure that their customers who need the part would send it to the dealership with the customers name on it especially when Ford is contacted by their customers and owners of the vehicle. I live in Paris Texas and have stoped by the dealership for the recall three times only to be told they can't get the airbags needed to service the recalled vehicles. Please advise me on how to handle this matter because frankly it's a waist of my time and energy to keep going in when receiving these recall emails to just be told Ford isn't sending them the parts needed.
Thank you

Ford 05 gt mustang 4.0

To whom it may concern.. I recently got my car and all was good then the nitemare began...one day we had hard rain and my window for some reason didnt seal when it rolled up and the whole passenger side front and back was flooded. I drove my car in disbelief how this happened and probably another gallon of water as I drove was dumping in my floorboard as I drove to town! Wowww! All of a sudden radio shuts off, windows won't go up or down...few minutes later just started working again like nothing happened? Well apparently now that my car is sitting broke down n I'm trying to figure out why my car is having all these issues and I discover that my electrical box under the dash on the side has received water damage from all the rain water that poured in my car! Now your company made a car n not just one...05, 06, n 07 are notorious for this to happen too n when it does its mandatory for them boxes and them wires as well thats under the dash to get wet! How do u make a vehicle as such n expect us car owners to be responsible for such an unwell thoughtout not structured car? This box sends signals to important functions that run these cars so with ur company putting these boxes in an area that when the plugs get stopped up n we owners don't know n water all of a sudden emerges from no where n there goes our boxes? Shouldn't this be a recall item? Your car and your mistake and we owners shouldn't have to be dealing with all the stress or pay for it either... I'm in shock that there are so many stories of exactly what I'm going thru! Thank u and have a nice day!

Ford ford f-150

My 2016 F-150 began having engine problems i have the 2.7 ecoboost. First of all the engine is designed to cut off at red lights and stop signs, however, my truck started cutting off and i would have to physically start it myself. The other this horrible rattle on a cold start. On July 17th of this year i took it to the dealership. Of course they hemmed and hawed in dismay pretending to not have a clue as to the problem. Well today is August 17th and no truck.
They replaced the head gaskets, truck wouldn't crank, so now it's the timing chain. Sounds like catastrophic engine failure to me. All this for a truck 7 months old and only 10, 000 miles. I understand the law and i also understand defects and i feel Ford should admit their errors and give me a new truck. At first i asked for a new engine and they practically laughed in my face. After the horror I've experienced only a new truck will do. I love my truck and just want to drive it for business and pleasure. I don't want to have to drag it in to the dealer for them to tinkle and try a little this and a little that.

All over the internet people are having the same problem and Ford has circulated a memo to all dealerships about these problems. The day I walked into the dealership i already knew from the internet what was wrong. Why did it take them 31 days to confirm what i already knew. Ridiculous! What burns me up more than the mechanical problem is the negligent and dismissive stance Ford and the dealership has taken. Only the Service Director has been helpful and showed some concern. The GM of the dealership fails to return calls and is constantly missing, at least according to the receptionist. If possible I would like other Ford owners with my particular problem to contact me. e-mail is [protected]@gmail.com David, Jacksonville, Fl

Ford tires being worn on a new 2016 vehicle

I bought a 2016 ford mustang GT brand new as a first owner, the vehicle had about 6 miles on it, I kept up with all the required scheduled maintenance services and only drive it back and forward to work and home, I currently have 15, 000 miles on it, since the last service was completed, I have been noticing some roaring noises from the tires, so when I had it check out the service department could not find anything wrong whatsoever, in fact they applauded me for taking such good care of my vehicle, they said that the tires were worn on the inside and the tires were a cheap brand of performance tires, they instructed me to contact the ford motor company to explain my issue and that they would cover 60% of the cost for new tires since I was under 24, 000 miles, I had to cover the other 40% of the cost, I was very displeased with that because it wasn't my fault that cheap tires were installed on a brand new vehicle, this is not good business and I am sure I am not the first to experience this problem, in fact that's my concern now about buying any vehicle and will do whatever I need to do to get brand new tires at no cost, I am prepared to fight this with legal assistance at the highest level possible, please call me at [protected] anytime to settle this matter asap, otherwise I will be looking forward to allowing my attorneys' handle this.

Ford customer service and maintenance

I bought a brand new 2017 Ford Escape. With a warranty. The Air Conditioning went out on the car in the middle of the summer and they would not take a look at it. Finally they looked at it after me sitting at the dealership for over 4 hours. They refused to accommodate me with a rental car. When the part came in they fixed it and said it was good to go. Less than 2 days later the air conditioning went out again. Is been 2 weeks now and I am still waiting for my brand new car to get fixed. My 2 year old daughter suffers from a skin condition and heat causes her skin to break out in rashes. My mother in law has a heart condition and cannot be in the heat to long. I asked for a rental car and when they finally gave me just for a day after the 4th time bringing the vehicle in the service guy at raceway Ford told me I needed to bring the rental back due to a shortage. Where I brought the rental back the rental place was closed for the weekend. Leading me to believe I could've used the rental at least through the weekend and avoided driving in the heat. Over the last 3 weeks it's been one of the worst customer experience services I have ever received. I have called at least 5 different times and spoke to different customer service representatives. I asked to speak to a manager and the service provider would not let me talk to him/her. I finally was able to speak to one and she did absolutely nothing but transfer my call. I also asked for a customer service home office number and they would not provide this for me. I will not shop at Ford anymore

Ford 2005 f150

I have a 2005 F150 that has been cared for very well. There is no body rust and the interior is mint.

I was in the process of replacing the brakes and was vert surprised to find the frame was rotted thru rendering the truck worthless.

I live in the northeast and we salt our roads but i have never seen something like this before. Ford is aware of the problem and issued recalls for the 2004 frames but has done nothing about the 2005.

Ford ford focus

Hello
I bought the new ford focus sport 2017 and after I used it for 50km I heard a weird voice whenever I use the breaks (contenious knocking on the aft area) I went to the customer service of ford located in (Egypt - Cairo - obour) they told me it's just some stains on the breaks and they removed it after 4 hours of waiting then I took the car and heard the same noise I went back to them and the respose was frustrating that it's not their problem now coz they have closed and they donot see any rush to fix the peoblem.. they were extremely unprofessional and they didn't fix anything..
It's a brand new car and it shouldn't have any problems and if it has the customer service should handle it professionally otherwise they put Ford's big name in jeopardy I wrote this complaint looking forward to see some action as am so frustrated and disappointed after I was extremely excited of my new car...
Thanks for understanding,
Duha EL-Mufti

Ford 2014 ford escape

I received a recall letter in march saying engine coolant is leaking. Called my dealer immediately and was told they would contact me when they had the part(s) available. In July I was in New York and my car overheated. Being 600 miles from home I took it to a mechanic and he replaced the thermostat. I paid 400 dollars out of my pocket. Drove home. Next day I drove it 8 mikes and guess what? Over heated again. Had it towed to Ford. Was told it WAS external and not part of the recall. After keeping my car for 1.5 weeks and telling me I could not get a loaner car they gave me the shop car to use . They told me the repair would be 950$. In this whole two weeks I had zero communication from the dealership. If I hadn't gone in to check I wouldn't have known status. After having my vehicle for two weeks they decided to give it back to me at no cost. Great right? Well yesterday I broke down again due to overheating, called the tow truck. It is again at the shop. Was just informed another hose busted and the part has been ordered. Was told they won't give me a price until they can make sure thus fixes the problem. I have always owned ford's for the most part but I'm about ready to give up on Ford, I am disgusted! I went in that dealership 2 years ago with 12000$ cash and financed two Ford vehicles and now I can't get any help. I really would like the 400 I laid out and the 150 I had to pay for a rental car for three days. And I don't want to have to pay for this repair. I totally believe it is ALL related to the recall... please advise

Ford 2011 escape bought it new

Had this car since new. I paid the extra money to have the special coating put on the paint to preserve it. Only to have this car to start to rust out over the rear wheel wells I seen online that this is a real issue with this vehicle. I have been a real fan of Ford for many years this is my 2nd Escape and I now also own my 2nd F 250 pick up the one I own now is a 2012. I have been very happy with Ford products. I camp with a group that I told them how happy I am with this truck that two other people in the group bought Ford trucks to tow with. As of right now With this rust problem on the Escape with only around 65000 miles I am very disappointed and the Ford dealership said that it is not covered. This car is garage kept and washed regularly. I was hoping that there would be some type of warranty to help cover this problem for a least 10 years. I hope you can help me with this repair. Before I have to change my mind on your product. I had problems with G M in the past that is why I came over to Ford in the first place and have not been disappointed till now. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Hope I am not disappointed in your answer. I hope you would stand behind your product so I can continue to be a Ford customer. Thank you Steven Sweitzer of Wrightsville Pa.

Ford 2016 f 150 xlt sport package 302a 5.0 v8

On july 29th 2017 I went by a friends house and I was not even there for 10 mins. I pulled into his driveway and he lives on a little incline. I parked in his driveway and got out of the truck as I was walking away from the truck it started to roll my buddy yelled too me it was rolling so I tried everything I could do to make it stop but nothing was working. So needless to say i'm ended up taking a ride with the truck and luckily when it went across the main rd there were no cars and no pedestrians behind it. The truck ended up hitting a brick wall and dragging me for the ride. I am not thrilled to be in the position that I am in because I was supposed to buy the truck next june and now it's totaled and I am not going to see the money I put down on the lease to own. And also I thank god that it happened when my kids weren't in the truck.in all honesty I am pretty dissappointed with the integrity of the truck definitely does not make me feel too safe in it what if I was in a head on collision or something like that what would the truck look like. I couldn't even imagine. The truck was doing maybe 15 at most and it is totaled. I hope you can get back to me. My name is michael ricci my phone number is [protected] thank you and have a good night

Ford 2017 ford raptor

Just wanted to express my disappointment in a truck I've always dreamed of having. After only 6k miles my brand new (not so cheap) Ford Raptor started making horrible grinding sounds loosing power and giving me codes on a daily. It's now in service department 6 days at ford in fort myers FL off boyscott rd. They have been kind as to tell me they have no idea why it's doing all these things but just can't believe I bought a expensive vehicle and feel like my hard earned money is sitting in a shop with me not being able to enjoy it as I spent that kinda of money to do so. At this stage I'm not sure how to react and trying to wait it out but just really feel let down by the company and product.

Ford focus sport 2017

All,

This is Ragy from Cairo( Egypt), hope my email finds you well.

I was searching on the internet and read some articles about the ford focus car, i just bought a new one (focus 2017 Titanium )4 months ago and found many ford users complaining about a FATAL issue in the eco boost engine called"degas house", the major issue is that the tube flows the water at 40000 miles on average without any alert and this definitely leads to engine damage .
Kindly be informed to respond to each of the following queries bullet by bullet please(my email is [protected]@gmail.com) :

1-what is the durability of this car
2-what was done to resolve that problem (was it fixed already)
3- what is the warranty that this symptom won't appear again after 4 or 5 years of usage
4-what is the life time of the engine . I.e engine's performane after 5 to 7 years will be as good?
5-Is the ecoboost technology conviniant to be used in hot temperature countries such as middle east as temperature in summer exceeds 40 degrees celsius(specially in Egypt)

Thanks in advance,

Ragy Riad

Ford 2013 ford fusion

To Whom it may Concern:

My father retired from Ford and to this day I will only buy American car companies vehicles. While I was supporting our country in the desert in 2013 I placed an order for a new Ford Fusion. I picked it up in July of 2013 from a dealer in Jackson Michigan and I love everything about this car except! the shocks. I live in the country in Manchester Michigan and driving on the dirt roads which I know is hard on a vehicle and I accept that but I am currently in need to put my 3rd set of shocks and my 4th set of upper shock mounts on this car. Really!, and I took it to my dealer who was doing all my maintenance on this car and they just said it is a wear item and if you want us to replace them it is $400.00. I just think there needs to be more engineering on this component because this is the second set of mounts that the shock has went up thru the top of the mount and bust the top half of the mount right out. Let me know what you think and thanks for your time.
Also I wanted to know if you needed anybody to test out new F-150 on dirt road for durability I would definitely be interested. The snow gets pretty deep on my private road in the winter and it is even tough for my 1979 F-250 to push it. Keep up the good work I love the new F-150 and within (hopefully) a year will be looking to get one.

Thanks

Ford a recall that you have for my car just not the year.

Hello my name is Renee Johnson I have Lincoln MKZ 2008 the problem is you have a recall for the interior handle to be replace and you also have a recall on the latch and the recall states that u replace all the latches and as a customer I'm afraid that recall I will be responsible for the repair of my car because the recall wasn't recognize until 2011. That's a safety issue do u know how many times I've been sleep on that door when going out of town . I just feel that my lincoln is still a lincoln and if its a safety issue then it should be a recall as well not because its a older model but because its a Lincoln and the manufacturer was aware of this issue since 2007. My car is in the shop now and I was told 220.00 jus to tear the door down and another 180.00 for the door handle not aware how u treat your customers but not to fair. Very sad Ms. Renee Johnson.

Ford corwin ford tri-cities, pasco, wa

I was travelling from Colorado and my battery light came on in my 2000 Expedition. I made an appointment online with Corwin Ford in Pasco, WA to test my battery and I wrote in the remarks that I would like an alternator test too. When I showed up, “Quick Lane” advised me that I had made the appointment with them. There was no place on the website that advised me I was using the quick lane for service. They said they would be able to do a battery test for me, but I would need to go to the regular service department for the alternator check. I let them start the check on the battery and walked across to the service department. I explained to them what was going on with my vehicle and the fact that their “Quick Lane” couldn’t do anything but check the battery and they told me for an alternator check I would have to wait 4 weeks! I was taken aback and had the service person repeat that and he said, “Yes, 4 weeks. We are doing a ton of recalls and we are very backlogged.” I advised him I was travelling with my family and all he could say is that he wished he could help. I went back over to the quick lane side and waited for my battery test to finish. Just as I had expected, the battery was fine. I went back over to the service side and asked to speak to the service manager. I was told he would be right with me. I waited about 20 minutes and finally Marcos Blanco showed up. I advised him of my situation and all he could say is that he was very busy and his techs had all the work they could handle. After letting him know I was travelling, all he could say that he wished he could help. This is just so sad. I purchased 2 new Ford vehicles in 2000. I have them serviced only by Ford in my hometown and they have both been good vehicles. I assumed all Ford dealers were quality operations. I do pay a bit more for their service, but I feel the quality is worth the extra. Being stranded on the road, I was forced to go to a local repair shop that, obviously, I knew nothing about. I was treated very fairly and the price was reasonable to replace my alternator. I will think twice before I go back to a Ford dealership and will definitely reconsider purchasing another vehicle from any company that would leave me stranded like that.

Ford 2010 ford escape ignition housing

2010 Ford Escape has a problem with the key and ignition. You must push the key in with great force to start the car. I had my car serviced with a new ignition switch to the tune of 200.00 and it did not fix the problem. My Escape is now in the shop again and I am told it needs a new ignition housing to the tune of 450.00. I have been online and everyone who owns this car has the same problem. This is a factory defect. Why is Ford not recalling this and taking responsibility for there own mistakes? The little man should NOT have to foot the bill for something that is Fords fault. I have NO vehicle at the moment because it is in the shop once again. I fully expect Ford to PAY FOR THIS ! WHERE IS THE RECALL ? FORD IS FULLY AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM AND HAS DONE NOTHING !

Ford door safety latch-sent back on freeway with "open" door

Going to vent for a minute... I am pissed... I have a vehicle that is only 3 years old and the passenger door in the back comes open and will not close! Tried everything so then I look it up online and guess what another recall, so I have johnny sit in back, jase in front seat and get it to a dealership (Planet ford in humble) for them to tell me the service department is closed — duh — I proceed to explain to them that I can not drive this vehicle like this, I got it to them safely since it came open down the road — safety hazard — so since it's a recall and will be paid for by ford, I need them to put me in a vehicle that is safe to drive home,
Welllllllll
The salesperson is new there but he was great, he tried all he could to get the door to at least close until tomorrow so I can get the vehicle home — no luck! He then proceeds to go talk to the manager on duty and explain the situation, not to mention I have a 7 year old in the vehicle with me — this is the message that chris the manager "sends" back to me. He is just sitting there, service is closed — uh duh no [censor] sherlock homes — oh and he is to busy to come talk to me and see if he can help me out... Tooooooo bbbbbbuuuussssyyyy - he was sitting on his [censor] behind a desk without a customer in sight...in plain sight for me to see him — to busy?

They sent us back out on the freeway with a 7 year old child with my door not closing at all. Johnny had to hold it shut the whole way back to the house. We had to drive it home that way! 35 minute drive

Wtf dude, so yes I will be calling the owner of randall reed ford in humble first thing tomorrow morning. I have worked in the dealership busy for 20 years now and never have I heard any dealership sending a customer back out on the freeway in danger because he is too busy sitting behind a desk doing nothing!

I hope randall reed cans his [censor] for not giving a damn about their customers.

Ford ford focus 2014

I have had my clutch replaced twice. I understand a recall and am appreciative it is covered under warranty, at least for now. I only have 41, 000 miles on my car.

I am, however, upset that I was told my shudder assembly or something like that it isn't working properly and needs to be replaced. The car overheats in traffic and i have to crank the heat to cool it down. It is an $ 1100 charge. There shouldn't be anything else wrong with a car with that few miles on it.

My car is currently at Leckner Ford in King George VA. Please advise. I think Ford should cover this. This is not normal wear and tear and I didn't cause it. I am very disappointed in this car and I loved it!
