Foothill Shepherds review: German Shepherd breeder 9

The person writing these derrogatory reviews is Marissa Lane Bates of Connelly Springs, NC. There is currently a criminal charge against her for cyber-stalking Mrs. Chastity Stewart and her family. She has threatened to rape Chastity and her daughter, to break in, and hurt the family, and hurt her dogs in her kennel. She is an ex's daughter and a known juvenile delinquent that has dropped out of school and has turned her attention from education to harrassing and threatening people. Her pending court date is May 13, 2013 at the Caldwell Co Court House. Marissa has already admitted to the Det that has been working this case that she has done this to Mrs. Chastity and her family. All of these reviews will also be shown to the District Attorney. He is currently investigating. IWhen she is sentenced, Chastity has the right to proceed with what she feels like she deserves in the manner of Marissa trying to slander her business. Foothill Shepherds is well known with the Sheriffs Department; their K9's come from there. They are also well known with Animal Control in our county as helping out with the community in numerous ways and is active with enforcing animal rights. One of Chastity's dogs ONCE AGAIN took down a huge meth dealer in Boone, NC and it was in the local news as well as National news. How sad we live in days and times where Chastity who has a solid reputation can be hit by a low life juvenille deliquent and websites such as these do not put a stop to it. Mrs. Chastity..we'd love to hear your view on this and how you feel. This is unfair to you. Check out one of Chastity's dogs here, or as she calls them..her furr babies.

We adopted Indie five years and couldn't ask for a better dog. She is aggressive but if she wasn't she wouldn't be a GSD. She hasn't had any health issues. We had her trained and she listens well and follows our direction. She is very loyal and a great dog. I plan on getting my next GSD from Foothills.

I am completely neutral seeing that I know neither this lady nor the complainers. I just happened upon this site looking for a German Shepherd. I cannot visit this kennel that it is too far from my home, however, if I could I would definitely do so after reading these reviews. It is plain to see these posts are a personal vendetta, therefore, she probably is a wonderful person with excellent dogs.

if she wasn't a bad breeder there wouldn't be so many bad reviews in the first place i've called her and knew there was something wrong with her in the head and ended up not buying from her and went to a different breeder you obviously didn't read the review where she harassed someone who gave her a bad review on petstew.com i read it and gaped my mouth in horror thats not normal or right it's the same as a cyber bully you need to do the correct research before you go and ridicule someone for their reviews i did mine

The truth stands on its own! You can tell all these negative reviews are emotionally fueled. If you really want to know what kind of dogs and what kind of person this lady is you'd have to meet her yourself. If these were actual complaints they would at least be articulate.

wow the breeder lady stalked you to 2 web sites this REALLY makes me not want to ever consider her for buying a dog shes crazy i've read 2 of your reviews on this backyard dog kennel i have had a bad experience with her my self i could tell she had a mental problem by talking to her over the phone personally she should be in a mental hospital and her dogs seized the only positive reviews i see on this breeder are the ones she made for her self i feel sorry for her dogs poor babys

What fascinates me is how you Sara can say that. All is untrue and slander. If I had known that my dog was going into a home with a uncontrollable chow that is 13 years old and has been in 5 different homes, I would have never adopted him to your husband. I took my dog back for his safety from YOUR dog and he had signs of physical abuse. Its funny though, your husband wanted another dog from me and even stated it was you that was making him give up the dog bc your dog was aggressive. You were cruel to my dog bc your dog was the aggressor and you no doubt hit my dog when he wasn't at fault. A huge lesson is to be learned from this: in a world full of crazy mouthy people who think they can slander your name...justice well prevail. For every crazy person that gets on here, I can show you 20 clients that will take a stand against this...including your mother in law. May peace be with you.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. Not only were we assured that our dog "LOVED" all dogs, we were also told that scars on his face were due to a fence. Upon taking the dog to the vet, we not only discovered that he had an undescended testicle (lied about) but that our vet was wary to be around him, due to the dog fighting scars on his face. This dog is aggressive towards our other dog and not only have we had to shell out way too much money for the dog we received, but now we also have to pay for a kennel and muzzle to keep our other dogs safe, and we also will have to pay a trainer for a behavior modification program. I wish I had listened to my gut which was telling me _NO! to this breeder. Please do your research and you would probably be better off going somewhere else, where you are not lied to.
