Florida Leather Gallery Broken Recliner that we purchased

We purchased a Recliner in late 2017, when it arrived, it was broken. When it reclined, it would make a popping noise as it jerked backwards. We initially had difficulties getting someone out and had to make several phone calls and emails informing that a service man never arrived.

He did finally arrive and identified the problem and said he would have to order a part. I have no record of him ever contacting me back. I had tried contacting the service manager I had been dealing with, but apparently she is no longer their. Her name was Judy Hicks.

After many phone calls, they have confirmed the service guy did come out and ordered part. I was told he was not able to get in touch with me etc. I have no record of this and someone should have sent an email ot made sure they followed up if this were true. In this case, it is actually a safety concern on this chair.

During these calls, I was asked to file a warranty claim since we have the extended warranty. I was told to lie about the problem in order for the warranty to cover the repair. I informed the woman I was talking to, that I did not think it was a good idea to start lying about what happened with this chair. Your company is actually asking me to commit insurance fraud.

So, I have been told that your company will not fix it. This is unacceptable for several reasons.
A service tech identified a problem and it is a safety issue. For a company to now use the excuse that they were not able to make arrangements to replace the part that is clearly broken... is just an excuse to avoid the repair. It is horrible and possible dangerous customer service. If there is a faulty part on a product that your company sold, you do what it takes to get that part changed out. Unlless someone is really just looking for a reason to avoid it. If your excuse is that you were not able to contact client, then a letter or email needs to be sent informing client of the situation.

But that was not done. We just want the broken chair fixed.

Florida Leather Gallery Poor Quality

Florida Leather Gallery Clearwater FL - We purchased a Leather Sofa and Love Seat for just under $6, 000, which was delivered to our home 2 years and 1 month ago. Now I am sitting on the Wood Frame and the Leather is now pealing. We stopped by the store where we purchased and was basically given the cold shoulder. We were given a phone number to all as we purchased for just under $600 a 5 year Warranty. This warranty does not cover the Cushion Replacement. Remember we had the furniture delivered just 2 years and 1 one month ago. If you want quaintly do not shop at Florida Leather as they do not back their product and there past customers. Basically they took the Money and Ran!

Desired outcome: Repair Peeling Leather and replace both cushions

Florida Leather Gallery protection plan sold with furniture

We just spent $10K on new Palister furniture for Florida Leather Gallery in Clearwater FL that was delivered in Sept of 2019. Almost $1K was for the "Protection Plan". The double recliners were delivered with different cup holders, one set bronse and the other set chrome. We have called the store several times and they can't seem to get us matching cup holders.
Our grandson left us a spot on the single recliner seat. We called the "Protection Plan" and they sent out a tech about 2 weeks later on Oct 7th. He said he was not informed that it was a leather stain issue and he did not have his products for that type of issue in his truck. He took a picture of the stain and reported to the Protection Plan that it was an accumulated stain over a period of time and that the stain was set in.
We called the customer service back on Oct 21 and they said they sent our claim #93184 to upper management and that they would call us back. No one has called us and, if they are worried about a stain setting in, they are waiting a long time to even attempt to remove the stain. We called again today, Nov 5th, a month later and still no resolve or speaking to someone in charge who has the authority to do something about this. We have wasted $1K on this plan. We paid to have this service but have no received anything. We have been too patient with these people and want to be contacted and rectified according to the thousand dollar plan we purchased.

Florida Leather Gallery razor blade size on couch when delivered

December of 2016, I purchased a sofa set at the 6206 Dale Mabry location. 3 weeks after Delivery I noticed when you sit on it there was an opening so I reported it to jill good, she told me in a couple of weeks they would get in touch with me or replace it. Eventually in April they came to fix it, after 3 months of calling to find out every week of when they were coming to fix it. They sent a technician who glued it and he said that those are accidents like this all the time and complaints, from the delivery guys that use razor blades when opening then. Then I went back April 26, and I talked to jill good and her manager who said they would replace it, so I purchased another couch. They delivered it today June 6 and Hill just told me that they weren't going to replace couch.

Florida Leather Gallery Product and service

We have gone through many recliners so I was determined to get one with a lifetime guarantee. We paid for a so called quality product but did not quality. The recliner was fixed twice and its broken again. I paid for the service call on this so called lifetime guarantee. I was lied to by the salesman who emphatically told me if it breaks it will get fixed. It's broken again and they will not send someone out to fix it. I was given a number of some person who does not answer my phone calls. I would never buy another product from this company or its associates.

Florida Leather Gallery Company does not Stand by their product

I bought a Pallester sectional for over $7000.00 and I had purchased the 5 year warranty for an extra large amount which covers everything but the main thing you sit on the Padding after calling the so called insurance company (which started over 2 months ago) they send a tech out to tell me that my coverage does not cover that. Then I go down to the store and spoke to the manager there and he was real helpful but he told me the foam is covered for 5 years but only the first year is free which I found out later) and gave me 2 numbers and now I know why. the first number was to a person that works for Florida Leather Gallery the second one which I was instructed to call and left my number. when that person called back he told me a date and time he could come by and it would be a $95.00 service Fee to let me know how much it would cost to fix the foam on my $7000.00 sofa. I have e-mailed Florida Leather Gallery and Matter Brothers which is the owner of them with no call back. I will be taking other actions but if you want to by furniture I would never by from Florida Leather Gallery unless you want to buy $7000.00 just for good Leather. their warranty sucks I also reported a cut in my leather which is covered but never fixed. Oh I did not say that I do not have children at home just me and my wife. This company does not stand behind their product.

Florida Leather Gallery Bad customer service

If you are looking for good, honest customer service, DO NOT go to Florida Leather Gallery. I got nothing but promises that were lies! After 10 weeks of waiting for furniture that was quoted to be delivered in 6-8 weeks, I have found out, that our furniture had not even been manufactured yet. That was the first lie from the manager, Vince. The day I purchased the furniture, I mentioned to him and my salesman Matt, that some of the review I saw about Florida Leather Gallery were they never delivered on time, his response, "oh that was because one of our past employees always was quoting unrealistic times, just to get the sale, he is no longer with us. Your furniture will be here in less than 8 weeks" Second lie, at 6 weeks, I called to check on the status of my deliver, I was told by Vince, "Pallisters website says your furniture is in production, it should be here in a week or two." Another week went by and I heard nothing, so I called again, Vince told me, "we found out last week the leather for your sofa and love seat was declined buy the manufacturer twice, not sure when your delivery will be now" I stated this was unacceptable! First, why didn't someone call me to update me and second, why was I lied to about my furniture all ready in production. Vince's comment "I called the Pallister rep and she said this never happens. To make this up to you, we will either discount your original order or you can pick something else out". I went to the store to try to work this out. We decided to keep the original order, I really like the set and we had upgraded the leather because of the dogs. Vince promised because of the inconvenience to us, that they would deliver a leather loaner set, just like the one in the showroom the next week AND discount my original order $300. This sounded wonderful and too good to be true! The best lie of all came yesterday when they'd delivered our loaner. If was the ugliest thing I have ever seen! The bone leather power recliner sofa, love set and chair that I was promised, turned out to be a ugly dark brown manual recliner chair coordinated with a horrible used FABRIC non reclining sofa and loveseat. The driver was not surprised at all that I declined it! I called Vince and he KNEW that was what was getting deliver. I have cancelled my order and hopefully will get my deposit refunded with in the next couple of days. DO NOT believe anything this company tells you!

Florida Leather Gallery BROKEN SOFA

Purchased a new leather motorized reclining sofa. Sofa looked OK when it was delivered but later when I used it I found the motor was broken. They sent service out to fix and verified but said they had to get the part from China ( I never would have bought this sofa if I knew it was from China as apparently most of their furniture is). This has been going on for several months and all I get is rude conversations when I call and there is nothing I can do "The part is on a slow boat from China"! I also purchased an additional warranty from them to augment the original warranty but I suspect they keep the game going until the warranty runs out. Now would you buy furniture from them? Several brother own these stores (Mather Brothers).

I agree that Marvin`s posting is cool, last friday I got audi since I been bringin in $5868 this-past/month and more than ten thousand this past month. with-out any question its the easiest-work Ive had. Florida Leather Gallery Bad service

I was told that the ordering of my sectional would take 10-12 weeks. After waiting 12 weeks, I sold my old furniture anticipating a delivery of my new sectional any day. I emailed my sales rep. numerous time for an update of the delivery. After 2 many failed attempts, I contacted the store and they informed me that it would be another month before I received my furniture. I was aggrivated that my sales rep did not let me know of the delay and was now stuck with no furniture for 4 more weeks. I was told that it arrived at the store and would be delivered on a Tuesday. My boyfriend took the day off to wait for the delivery. He finally called the store around 9am to get an idea of when the delivery would be made. The manager informed him that no delivery was scheduled for that day. When I called to complain, the manager basically blamed me that it was a miscommunication between me and the sales rep. All I was looking for was acknowledgement that a mistake had been made. Now, after 4 months I still have NO furniture. The part that gets ya is that I had to put a $400 non refundable deposit down and I can't afford to just walk away from that.

We purchased a leather sofa which reclined on both ends. After one month one of the recliners quit working. They were contacted numerous times and four months later still not repaired. We opted for a replacement which was out of the question. We are ready to ask for our money back. Never recommend.

Horrible experience. $3000 sofa failed within 5
days. The run around. Wrong color delivered. Massive multi month waits. No returns. Ekorness sofa was cheap
design. They replaced and we donated taking a $3000 loss. Never buy a sofa
unless you have 10 day in home trial in writing. Be careful with verbal
agreements with this store. You can find used three year old Ekorness sofa's on
craigslist at $100 for a reason! Check other reviews located at complaintsboard

I went to Florida Leather Gallery, Sarasota, with my two elderly parents on Jan.9, 2013. They purchased two chairs in a matter of 40 minutes, totalling $6066.90. One was being delivered to Venice, Florida which took 4 weeks, mind you their warehouse is in Ft. Myers. They promised delivery within a week. The "circle" to lift the chair came after 6 weeks..
The chair going to Boston area was suppose to be at their residence between 7-14 weeks. This chair also coming from Ft. Myers. This chair has not arrived yet and it is May 12th. After talking to the sales person Jerry Stokes, he informed me that this was not " rush ship" and it was out of his control. Let me tell you Jerry was certainly happy to get the commission on these chairs but was not helpful in any way.
The "Mom and Pop" company they use to ship chairs still has not called up on where the chair is.When I did call them on April 25th, she gave me a "song and dance" about why the chair is not in the Boston area at the time...what a joke.
So, now, I talk to Paul the store Manager, who would not give his last name. I explained, it has been 22 weeks and we still don't have the chair and DO NOT WANT THE CHAIR and we would like our money back. He insisted this was a "special order" and he would not refund the money or take back the chair. He was not friendly, not helpful and was really rude JUST LKE ONE OF THE OHTER REVIEWERS SAID Their customer service is the worst. Their return policy is unheard of and the company they use to ship items, should go out of business. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO BUY FROM FLORIDA LEATHER GALLERY, SARASOTA.

all natuzzi is made in china(except for the italia line, which is expensive like 7000 for a section) most brands this store sells come from china, except palliser that's from mexico and ekornes from norway...takes a long time from china...

I bought my leather furniture from the Tampa store. Back in 2005 and had a great deal. The manager/ sales guy Greg or Brad helped me with my choice and I learned more about leather than I ever thought Id know, HOWEVER it turns out Im glad I did !
I was told Aprox. 12 to 16 weeks and in 15 weeks it was in my house and still is.
I still love it and see my friends choices from other stores and am very pleased with my dission. They said it would last fifteen years "with normal use" . IT LOOKS LIKE ITS GOING TO MAKE IT.

Florida Leather Gallery has terrible customer service! I wish I had checked before purchasing our sectional there. We were told it would 14 to 16 weeks for our order to arrive... we finally got a call today, 20 weeks later. They never called us to keep us informed, we always had to call them. And now I have to take a whole day off for delivery of this couch since they can't schedule a time before the actual day. This is worse than the cable company! I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.
