Hi all

In a nutshell, I made an order through flora niche in August this year. For some reason HSBC would decline the transaction every time they would attempt to make payment, HSBC stated that their fraud prevention system automatically declined this. I have now learnt that Flora niche have distributed my personal credit card details to a 3rd party! Do they not realise how much fraud there is out there. HSBC have now cancelled all my cards and are issuing new cards.

Very rude and threatening emails, they do NOT understand the concept of excellent customer service!

Placed an order with Flora Niche clearly indicating that Aurora is the closet town to Picketburg in the Western Cape. Order number which included delivery and flowers was promptly mailed to me. This was followed by a call to determine the method of payment I would be using. I was also told that they could do the transaction using my credit card details telephonically but refused to give my credit card details and instead opted for an EFT payment. The day flowers were to be delivered, Flora Niche called my friend, who was to receive the flowers and told her that she would need to travel to Aurora (40km from Picketburg) to collect her flowers as it was simply too far for Flora Niche! I was called afterwards only to be told that it would be impossible for them to deliver the flowers to Aurora and that they would be cancelling my order! Why involve the receiver of the gift ! What an unprofessional service! Don't use them, don't disclose your credit card details and be ensured that service delivery is non existent!

These guys are just crooks and they will not respond to your emails asking questions about delivery. I ordered dozen pink roses and paid for dozen pink roses but what was delivered was beyond belief. There was not a single rose in there and it was filled with flowers and plants you commonly see even on the streets. You can never trust these guys for one second.

Hi, I ordered flowers from Paris for my sister's birthday 3 days before the event. The flowers arrived on her birthday! I am happy about the customer service and definitely will order through them again. The payment service MYGATE is very secure and reliable. Also wish I'd read the reviews!
Wanted flowers delivered to my mum in hospital. They didn't arrive and I only found out when I asked her - ruining the surprise. I had to ring (from the UK) to chase them up. Apparently they didn't have the 'white and pink' flowers - the only colours in the bunch! They were delivered the following day but I can't comment on their quality or even if it's what I ordered! I asked just for a refund for the delivery cost - and they emailed me to ask why they should?! No response since so I'm posting reviews wherever I can. No apology at all from them. Shocked by some of the stories I've read since. Can't believe they are allowed to operate. Will be checking my credit card!

I used my credit card to order flowers for my mother in law in South Africa and they have sold my details onto a third party who have now used my card details to make significant purchases!
DO NOT USE FLORA NICHE!

Awful. Amateur operation with low levels of understanding of data privacy, fraud and customer service.

I typed my credit card number in on the website and noticed the URL wasn't a secure connection, so did not click confirm to pay. I then checked the reviews and noticed they had awful feedback and left the website. It turns out they illegally capture your details over an unsecured connection and attempted to charge my card.

Flowers ( for valentines) did arrive, however were very poor quality. Over the next 12 hours, I received many many calls to get the security number from the back: I explained that I never completed the purchase and the call turned a little nasty. They are now threatening to find my girlfriend and get the flowers back.

Please don't use this service, if you're from SA, recommend reporting them to your regulatory body: Although they're not malicious, they are incompetent with the fundamentals and need shutting down.

My credit card was "scammed" as well, when I bouth flowers from Australia online using Flora Niche... DO NOT USE THEM

I wish I had read these reviews earlier - I used Flora Niche to order flowers for my Mother and Mother in Law in South and only 5 days later someone tried to make in excess of R22, 000 worth of purchases on my card. I contacted them to make them aware and to ask that they review their security and the only reply that I got was that they will look into it - no apology for the inconvenience caused of having my card cancelled. Following my purchase with Flora Niche I have also started receiving masses of junk mail from car rental and same day loan companies. Obviously our details are being passed on for a few cents.
If you do not want to be inconvenienced by being spammed and having your card cancelled because of fraudulent purchases then DO NOT USE FLORA NICHE!

Good morning

Three years ago I sent my daughter your African Skye arrangement. I asked you to change it to pink as she had just had our granddaughter. When I saw the arrangement it was truly beautiful. I love the modern design of this arrangement which is unlike all of your others. To be honest had it not been for this design, I would not have used your services at all.

Anyhow, I have been sending this same design to people for years fully expecting them to receive exactly or nearly the same as your displayed picture. On Monday I sent to The Swanepoel Family in Kempton Park and was appalled to see that they received something completely different and clearly a lot cheaper. Please look at the picture below and tell me that I am wrong!?

To add further insult, I sent my daughter yesterday a bunch of flowers and added a "choice SA white wine" costing me R95. Once again, I am appalled to find that she received TWO OCEANS which cannot be more than R30!

I am saddened and very disappointed in your services - you have cheated me and worst of all, you made my special moments cheap which is really unforgivable.

Placed an order on Flora Niche and they failed to deliver. Excuse was the florist they used had a problem with their fax machine because their cables had been stolen. Anyone with an idea of how fax machines work will know that they acknowledge receipt of an incoming fax to the sender so it should be immediately clear if the transaction completes or now. Very pour excuse or poor business model but either way, I will not be using them again and rather than support a local business, will revert to using interflora which have always been reliable. Now to get my money refunded.

Wish I had the sense to read this before I placed my order. My card details went through but now I'm worried about who else has them. My complaint is about the bouquet that was delivered. I paid R495 for a Country Charm bouquet and the florist in Bloemfontein, Izami florist delivered 12- 14 stems in a tin container. Pretty steep even by UK standards.Floraniche did not rectify this even after I made a complaint and the florist at Izami told my Mum to throw the flowers away if she didnt like them. So much for customer service. I've had bad experience with flower deliveries in SA as a whole and it seems that the florists there are not honest. If anyone knows a good florist in Bloemfontein who will take payment by card over the phone then let me know.

What a shame I did not read this! For some odd reason my card was declined as well. I have just received an e-mail from Flora Nische with my full card details on. Absolutely no concept of internet security. I tried to find a complaints process on their website - but NOTHING. A secure payment process is advertised but quite the opposite is true. I would appreciate a way to take this further ...am now looking into consumer complaints body in South Africa and here in London that will cover this company. Their conduct is not on!. I am definately writing to 'Proudly South Africa' as they carry their logo and must be compliant to their standards.
