FlightHub refund

I am very very upset with way flight hub and its associates have tried to steal money from me.. lieing to me that refund of my taxes and 2 return flights were credited by air-transit as per policy and air-transit the refund is credited but FLIGHT HUB REFUSES to give it to me.

very very disappointed in the service . they are stealing from customers and avoiding answering questions

I bought 3 tickets to Guayaquil when I received the confirmation email I noticed that even though I picked the right date for my trip, they sent me a different date, I called right a way to figure out what had happened?
They told me that to make any changes I should pay a $600 fee. I agreed to that even though it wasn’t my fault.
Now I find out that those first tickets are nonrefundable, they charged me $600 to change the date and I had to buy 3 new tickets.
Why didn’t they tell me that I need to buy another ticket?
Why did they charge me to change the date if they didn’t do that?
Is it a fair, honest and moral thing to do?
I’m so disappointed with this company and with their customer services.

FlightHub cancelling a flight

On December 9th, we attempted to make reservations to Sao Paulo Brazil for a international bible convention. We secured two seats with LATAM and attempted get an additional seat for our 26 year old daughter who was paying for her ticket separately. There were no more seats available so we went through another airline and secured three seats together. I went back to cancel my flight, which was made through Flight Hub and could not find anywhere on their website to cancel the flight. The website said to go to the menu after signing in and select "cancel booking". There was no such option on the web page.

The next day, December 10th, I sent an email to LATAM and CSA, the travel insurance company. I didn't receive any response from LATAM, but CSA suggested that we cancel with the company that made the reservation.

I went back to their website and found an 1-800 number to call. It was [protected]. I called and spoke with Luis and he informed me that my cancellation was eligible for a refund, but I would only be getting $897 back from the $1747.48 already charged to my card, and they would need to charge another $250 per ticket to refund me back the $897. This amounted to...

$1747 -charged to my card for the tickets on December 9th
- minus $850 - non refundable fee
- minus $250 per ticket for additional cancellation fee charged to my card
= $447 refunded back to me.

This is unconscionable as they did not have clear instructions on their website and I've attempted to cancel since day one. Is there anything that can be done about this?

FlightHub was given wrong information and was charged incorrectly!

hello! so my reservation number was [protected] and November 20, 2018 i called flighthub to just double check with the baggage information so then there was this male agent that told i had no middle name on the reservation so then i asked if they can add or correct it for me then he called eva air to double check then he spoke to me again saying to make addition or correction was $150 per 3 letters and it would take a really long process so he told me the best option was to just cancel the flight for $200 and he said i would be getting back $713 within 6 to 8 weeks. So then he told me again that for me to cancel was only $200 charged over all and nothing else but then before cancelling my ticket i asked him a lot of times first if it was really $200 to cancel then he repeatedly said that it would be just $200 for cancelling the flight so then i just cancelled because he told me that was the best option with my case. Then after they charged me $200 right away. So then i called again to make sure they were just charging me $200 and then i spoke to another agent and she said there will be another $150 charge from cancelling so i was really pissed off that time because i was not informed with that because if i knew that it would be $250 plus $150 i would not choose to cancel so i asked for the supervisor and i told her to listen to the recorded conversation between me and the agent and she said that if the agent really gave out a false information that she will just make sure that he goes back again for proper training and the supervisor was not helpful at all and the way she speaks to me was disrespectful. So then i was charged for $350 all in all and i asked the supervisor if she could send me an email confirmation with the breakdown of charges and she refused saying they do not offer that so it was really not right because i was not correctly informed about the accurate charges and was not given out a confirmAtion with the breakdown of charges. Then today, December 1, 2013 i found out that my friend had the same problem as me but then she just called flighthub today and her flight is on monday December 3, 2018 and they transferred her to the name change department without any hassle and charges so what the hell is going on here? I am really pissed off right now because i had to go through series of calls and people with different information to give out and i paid tons of charges for cancelling which was really not my fault at all! So then i called flighthub again today to ask about my case so then this agent told how come i chose to cancel because she said it is only $75 to correct the name so all the agents basically give out false informaton which is not right! So i asked for the supervisor again since she gives out wrong information as well so they put me on hold for 40 minutes! then i just hung up and called back. So then another series of repeated question again with diffrent agents with improper training! So then i asked for the supervisor again named zion and he said will listen to the recorded converstation and im on hold for an hour now !So right now i just need my money back which was the $350 that they took from my account!

FlightHub payment not received

My FlightHub booking number is [protected] I bought a flight to Hong Kong and made full payment on 3 Jan 2018 (Receipt # [protected]), the company could not work out for the new plan and had to cancel. At the time of canceling customer service told me I was entitled for a refund and it would take 6 to 8 weeks to be credited. I received a notification (receipt # [protected] dated 8 May 2018) for the reimbursement. It has been over 6 months and when checking through my credit cards statement for the last 6 months there was no sign of any transaction from your company. Would appreciate if you can contact me through my email address to explain about the issue. Thank you

FlightHub flight credit I couldn't use

My FlightHub booking number is [protected]

I bought a flight to New York on December 19th 2017 but had to cancel since I couldn't go anymore. At the time of canceling customer service told me I can use that credit to fly anywhere in the US as long as I book the flight within a year. November 2018 I try booking a flight to Hawaii. I spoke to several customer service people. Two of them told me they couldn't book it since Hawaii is not a domestic flight (which is not true) others told me they don't have flights available to Hawaii. Upon my request to receive the money back they told me it's non-refundable.

I was told I could use up the credit anywhere in the US. I don't understand why I'm losing $600 worth of credit or money when it's not my fault. Had I known Hawaii is not included I would have made my plans differently.

I hope this was helpful for the way you do business in the future.

FlightHub flight itinerary was cancelled for no reason and without me knowing it

I was at the airport for my flight this morning 23rd of November when upon checking in there is no reservation booked under my name on the specific flight itinerary I have with me, talked to 3 different person from flighthub customer service and they are telling different details. my father died and I need to go back home right away but didnt get the chance to catch up my flight and flight hub did not helpnme with it

FlightHub nasty luggage costs for flight to portugal not explained

Recently we flew on TAP air to Portugal on tickets purchased from your company (Tap Air Portugal Flight 262 Oct 17 to Lisbon and Tap Air Portugal Flight 259 Nov 8 th back to Toronto ). When ordering the tickets it was not made clear that the cost was for only the flight with NO CHECKED luggage. We had paid 501.67 each (2) for our tickets and then when we went to check in we were hit with a whopping 170 Euros (85 Each) to fly over and then to pay again coming home...our luggage cost us 340 Euros or 510.CAD (cost exceeded what was contained in our 2 checked luggage).
I have booked with Flight Hub in the past and been quite pleased with the booking but this time, I am enraged!
For the sake of other customers, make it VERY CLEAR what the terms of the flight are so that customers like us, are not blindsided and forced to cut costs from other aspects of our travel on account of your lack of clarity.
Needless to say, we will not ever book another flight with Flight Hub, nor will be recommend your company!

FlightHub no notification of connecting flight cancellation

Cathay Pacific cancelled connecting flight from Vancouver to Hong Kong CX837 and notified FlightHub, but FlightHub did NOT notify me so I missed my connection. As a consequence I arrived a day late for my tour departing Yangon on November 3.
I was on the phone for MORE THAN AN HOUR and had to deal with 4 different people at FlightHub and NO ONE provided ANY help. And despite the fact it was FlightHub's fault I wasn't offered ANY compensation for extra hotel stays or to catch-up somehow with tour in Myanmar.

FlightHub flight ticket cancellation

I recently had to cancel my flight to a Puerta Vallarta due to a Category 5 Hurricane hitting Mexico . Given the reason I was cancelling, I asked Flight Hub if they could they waive the $150 cancellation fee, as Air Canada has waived it for my flight back due to the safety circumstances. . They said they would waive $50. I asked if I could refuse the travel credit (as my insurance would not give me back my money if I accepted a travel credit) and they refused and stated I had to take the travel credit which could ONLY be used to fly to Puerta Vallarta. I asked if they would write me a "letter" stating they charged me $100 so I could at least receive $100 from my travel insurance. They said they'd send it to me within 24 hours.
In 24 hours I called back and told them I received an invoice NOT a letter AND I was charged $250 NOT $150 OR $100 as they had promised. I asked again if they could write me a letter and was hung up on and did not have anyone call me back.
I called back a 3rd time- they reimbursed $150 of the $250 error they made. They told me I would receive my letter.
I called back days later letting them know I STILL did not receive this letter only an invoice. They apologized and stated they would send me an email while I was on the phone. I checked while on the phone and stated it was not a letter it was a cancellation. I needed a letter on letterhead for my insurance company. They said we do not give letters just cancellation emails. I let them know that would not suffice with my travel insurance. They didn't seem to care and said sorry we don't issue letters. Frustrated I said you work on a computer why can't you issue a letter? On top of it why was I charged $100 to begin with when other airlines cancelled the cancellation fee?! Again they stood by it was policy and in regards to the letter they would only send me a cancellation email.
Not only did I waste many hours on hold, spoke to people who did not speak English well and due to that we kept going in circles, I was hung up on, and in the end was not serviced with even a letter. With the amount of money and time I spent, I am a very upset, frustrated, disappointed over the disregard for their customers .

FlightHub my flights were canceled without my permission

I bought my tickets June 28...paid in full.
October 16 I called to try and change the return date. I agreed to the $150 service charge and $230 for the difference in the flight. In checking my booking I saw that the change didn't happen but as I'd been told it could take a few days I left it till after the weekend. I called back on the 23rd and spent over 3 hours trying to sort it out. At this point I'm quoted amounts upwards of $1, 000. I am returning to Cambodia to volunteer at a school and they could use that money more than I need to change my dates therefore I said I didn't want to proceed. At no point was I told that once they started this process that they would cancel my flights ! The next day I made a call to get permission to be out of the country a bit longer so then I called FlightHub back and that's when they told me they had canceled my flights. That was just days before I was scheduled to leave. I have spent hours on the phone over the next few days and I'm getting nowhere. They said they tried calling me but each time I call in and answere all their security questions and they ask if my phone number is 250... I give them my new number, probably 7 times now. So if they were calling they had the wrong number.
At this point my flight has been sold to someone else and there is no way I'm getting out of here today and anytime in the near future. This has caused me so much grief. I have reported this to the Consumer Protection, also contacted Market Place and today I'll be taking to lawyers. I have contacted your help line and I'm not getting anywhere. I actually had one of your agents call me last night to try and get me to buy another flight and he was very pushy !
All I want is my flights back so I can get to Cambodia.

FlightHub false information provided to a cancelled flight

October 26 2017, I booked round trip flights to Australia leaving January 31st returning February 28th. I unfortunately had to cancel due to a family member becoming very ill. I received travel credit which required I book by October 26, 2018 (today) that included my same travel itinerary (departing and returning from the same location, same airlines, and same individual). Upon cancellation I had called to clarify a couple of times the parameters of my travel credit as different information were provided on more than one occasion. I had been told once that I had to book by October 26th, but was able to travel past those dates, I had been told another time that I had to use my flight credit before October 26th. I was not able to travel before October 26th due to a new job and moving to a different province, so called a third time shortly before my credit expired (October 24th). It had been explained to me that in order to use my credit that I had to book by or on October 26th but was able to travel at any date afterwards. Today being the day that I could book my flights, I found ideal flights that fit all parameters. When trying to book online my credit at this point had expired and when I called to clarify the situation and book my flights, I was told that nothing could be done for me. I had clarified that I understood that the company has a policy in which to follow, but my issue was in regard to being provided false information not only once, but twice. I asked that they reviewed my previous conversation held on the 24th to provide that the statement had been made that I could travel any date after the 26th of October. The supervisor in which I spoke to (JD), refused to answer any of my questions in regard to reviewing the phone conversation I previously had with the representative in regard to the false information provided. She kept explaining why the credit had expired, which I agreed with and explained I understood the policy, but that that policy had not been correctly communicated prior to. I also stated that if on the 24th that the information relayed included the fact that I wasn't able to travel past the 26th that I would have understood, but that that wasn't the correct information provided. I specifically asked if I could travel this upcoming February 2019, and the answer was "yes". After explaining the situation, she explained nothing could be done and refused to answer any of my questions in regard to my issue and refused to review my previous conversation held on the 24th. When I asked for her name she tried brushing off my request and tried ending the conversation when I was still asking her questions and in my belief was negligent towards answering any questions at hand and tried ending the conversation without providing me sufficient information. When asked if anything could be done to rectify the situation, I was told multiple times that there was nothing they could do in regard to the false information provided. I called a number of times and the only resolution that was given was to refund me my cancellation cost of $100. I am asking that some sort of credit could be given to rectify the situation in regard to two separate travel agents providing me with false information at two different dates. I write this complaint because I was provided false information which ultimately has put me out a large portion of money and received minimal compensation or apology for the mistake on flighthubs end. My client number is [protected] and I really hope to continue further communication in regard to my dissatisfaction.

FlightHub tickets

Hi, my name is Roxanna Dume, I not happy with you guys, you company is fraudulent and you sales tickets from Iberia is not true, any to go the police I'm making complaints about you company because you never told me that true I think my flight is Iberia when I got to canter is level, end then any to pay for my lagged, my seats, food is no true whit you to that I can understand some people stole money from fraudulent please I want my seat for me and my daughter my food y my lagged free I pay my money and the flight is very long you suppose responsibly for my money because I buy my tickets you company is de resin I make complaint about you company I'm sorry for everything thanks

FlightHub canceling my connecting flight without notice

I am complaining about our booking last July 23, 2017. I know its a little bit late but just now I receive the copy of my billing from my phone company.

Last july 23 is our flight going to Colombo, from St. Johns Newfoundland. When we arrive at the check in counter at Air Canada at St. Johns Int. Airport. The lady told us that she cant print out our boarding pass to our next flight but she can see our connecting in their system, so she advise us to continue our flight so we did, so when we arrive at the London Heathrow Airport, we approached the counter for our next flight, but according to them we are not booked on our next flight. That our flight agent has CANCELLED our booking. So I tried to call the hotline of Flight hub, I able to reach them. But I didnot know that the calls that I made to fix my flight is being charge. EVEN THE INCOMING CALLS OF THE AGENT IS CHARGE TO MY BILL. WHICH IS SO UNFAIR BECAUSE I ALREADY BEEN DELAYED FOR A DAY ON OUR TRIP AND STILL THEY CHARGE IT TO ME.

Aside from that because of our flight being cancelled we have to BOOKED FOR OUR OWN HOTEL WITH OUR OWN EXPENSE. WHICH IS AGAIN NOT RIGHT. BECAUSE ITS NOT OUR FAULT OUR FLIGHT IS CANCELLED IS THE FLIGHTHUB WHO CANCELLED OUR FLIGHT WITHOUT TELLING US.

I hope you deal on this matter.

FlightHub excessive penalty fee & not honoring the 24 hour change grace period

I had booked a flight with FlightHub.
Fifteen minutes later they sent me a confirmation email & I saw there was a one letter typo in my name.
I immediately called them. Their rep said he could not correct the typo in my name.
He said I had to cancel my reservations and re-book.
They charged me $150 to cancel my flight even though it was within their 24 hour grace period.
The flight was about $450 per person. I had booked for two of us.

FlightHub tickets no available after purchase

Purchased several tickets for family members to go visit dying family member. During check in time it would not allow some of us to check in saying that we owed partial money on the ticket. Contacted flighthub could not figure out the situation, finally after several hours of speaking with multiple companies we were able to catch the flight. Lost money and almost did not make it to spend the last few hours with family member

FlightHub reservation cancellation support

On 6/4/18 we booked two round-trip tickets from Denver to Lisbon, Portugal (FlightHub Booking Number: [protected]). On 9/24/18 we forwarded a letter from my doctor, Dr. Bradley Duhon, confirming that due to back surgery I had on 9/20/18 I could not travel for 8 to 11 weeks, causing us to have to cancel our Portugal trip. We called back on 9/26 and were told that we could only cancel the flight with United. I canceled our flight online with United and had the monies "banked" in my United account for future travel. When I was unable to see this credit on my account I called United and was told we could only rebook and use these miles by going back through FlightHub. On my next call to FlightHub, I was told that United did not accept my doctor's letter and that I needed to submit a signed and stamped (?) letter. I did this earlier this week. When I called on Wednesday I was told that this reservation had been turned over to United and that there was nothing you, FlightHub, could do. At this point, I was speaking to a Supervisor (gave me the name Ace) at you [protected] number and when I requested to speak with a Manager I was disconnected. I have explained several times that we are trying to book another trip through FlightHub but I cannot get anywhere. I hope we can get this resolved. All of the documents and dialogue I have noted above should be in our file. Please do not have a Supervisor call, we have already been there. Thank you!

I called FlightHub Support again today and explained all the above and when I asked to speak with a Manager I was put on hold for approximately 25 minutes and was then disconnected. This has consistently been incredibly terrible customer service and I truly hope that this can end through this complaint. Thank you!

FlightHub luggage charges

Can ry please explain why we were charge for checked in baggage at the airport when we were checking in at icelandair counter. We a have never been charged before for luggage on other flights when we were allowed 2 bags. The agent at the counter said since we booked the flight with you flight hub and not icelandair there would be chargesinvolved. The flight hub booking number is [protected] and the Icelandair confirmation number is VRLE5E. We are hoping that this has been a computer error and will not be charged on our return flight home.

FlightHub irresponsible behaviour

On Aug 15, 2018 I booked return tickets for my wife and my self from Vancouver to Manzanillo. We were leaving Vancouver at 8:36 AM arriving Manzanillo at 7:PM. The total elapsed time was 9 hours 54 minutes. The return left Manzanillo at 11AM and arrived at Vancouver at 8 :45 PM, total elapsed time was 10 hours 54 minutes.

The total fare for both flights was $1, 124.98 which included a $39.98 trip cancellation fee. At the time I booked the flight the same flight was available from Aero Mexico for the same price, including the trip cancellation fee.

I chose Air Canada because the flight left about an hour later than the Aero Mexico flight and I being Canadian, patronized the Canadian Airline.

On Sept. 27, 2018, Air Canada changed our flights, rather than flying during daylight hours, with one stop each way. We were scheduled to fly overnight flights on both legs with 2 stops on the outward bourn and 3 stops on the return leg.

The total original elapsed time to Manzanillo increased by 9 hours and five minutes, almost double, with an overnight flight. Returning to Vancouver, the elapsed time increase by 23 hours and 30 minutes, more than 200% of the original schedule, plus and overnight flight and an increase from one stop to three stops!

On October 1, 2018 I contacted Flight Hub and suggested that they change our flights to the Aero Mexico flights that were available on the date that I purchased the Air Canada tickets. I went to the Aero Mexico website and confirmed that seats were available and gave the Flight Hub agent the Aero Mexico flight numbers.

I spent close to half an hour on the phone and was told that Flight Hub would send the request to Air Canada and I would receive confirmation within 72 hours.

72 hours later I called and spent another half hour on the phone, finally getting to speak with a supervisor, Jeri. I was told that Flight Hub would submit another request and that a response would take up to another 72 hours. I told them that was not acceptable. I suggested that she call Air Canada for a response. She did and said that she was on hold for 45 minutes. I told her that I had an appointment and couldn't wait that long on the phone. I suggested that she call me or email with the Air Canada response, she said that she could not do that.

After that phone call, I called Air Canada and asked for their help, they said that I needed to deal with Flight Hub. I told them of my dealings with Flight Hub and was told that was the procedure I needed to follow. I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told that was not possible. I asked if there were other options. He suggested sending an email. On October 4, 2018, I sent the following email from the Air Canada website -
"--MESSAGE--
Subject: Changed flight
Message: I bought an Air Canada ticket for myself and my wife to fly from YVR to ZLO and return during daylight hours. Air Canada, cancelled the flight to MEX both ways and replaced the flights which are not acceptable. We are both over 75 years of age and the replaced flights were both red eyes and the total elapsed time on the return is over 34 hours! I called Air Canada customer service and spoke with a person who identified himself as Alex - AB - who was not helpful. I have tried unsuccessfully to deal with Flight Hub and they tell me that they are awaiting confirmation from Air Canada. I have waited more than three days without a response. I told them that if I wanted to book a new ticket with Air Canada that it could probably be done in 10 minutes, so it seemed ridiculous that it should take more than three days for Air Canada to confirm that flights that I requested. The AC flights can be replaced with Aero Mexico flights 695 and 2568 on departure and 2565 and 696 on return. I believe that Air Canada should honour my original AC ticket and replace it with the AM flights. Please confirm my request to my email address at your earliest opportunity. Thank you! Don"
On October 6, 2018, after not hearing from either party, I called Flight Hub and cancelled the tickets. I was told that I would receive a refund of the air fare only. I told them that I should get a refund of the trip cancellation charge as well, we are both still healthy and the cancellation occurred for reasons totally attributable to the other parties.
I rebooked the flights with West Jet the same day. The cost of the replacement tickets was $1, 295.78, without trip cancellation. This is an increase of $215.78.
I was told that the refund might take 6 - 8 weeks to process. I purchased the original tickets on August 15, 2018 and my credit card was charged the next day. I asked for an explanation of the delay. I did not receive a satisfactory response.

I believe that at a minimum Flight Hub and/or Air Canada needs to refund the trip cancellation insurance fee and should be responsible for the increased cost of an additional l$215.78 for a total of $255.76.

FlightHub my booking for december [protected]

I had booked with flighhthub on september28th for me and my 2 grandson.
I notiched tgat i had spelled his last name wrong. One letter was wrong.
I called flighthub countless times and spoke to so many people and they would tell me they are looking into it and woukd put me on hold for few hours . they said they will get back to me.
October first i spike to 5 different people all telling me that they will have to cancel my grandsons booking abd rebook.at one time i was anout to give my credit card and the phone disconnected.
So each time i spoke to different people same thing happened. Today i was talking to someone by the name or ceaserand akira.
I am put on hold ftom 12 pm and its moe 3pm.
I do not know what i will be able to do as none of the people helping has their phone ectension. So u keep repeating the same thing again and again with no result.
Asked few times if i can talk to a supervisor with no luck.
The flight was booked through flighthub but ithe airline i will be travelling is air newzealand. I spoke to the airnewzealand customer service and they were so helpful and they told me that i need to talk to flighthub as tgey are the one i bought ticket thtough. They told me all they have to do is issue new ticket and if they do not know tgen they can call airnewzealand.
I am quite distressed anout it as this was our family reunion in nz.

I just would like to settle it asap.

FlightHub rebooking after cancellation

I tried to rebook a flight after I cancelled a reservation. I had $600 credit. The price sky rocked on their website and they wanted me to pay $200 more. No matter what dates I put in the flights were the same price. Extortion that is what they do. When I went to their website as a new customer the prices were lower. Like $250 less. A rip off!
