Fishman productions is running a scam. They run many compnaies that are "wholly owned subsidiaries" of Fishman Productions, which seems to be owned by Jeff Fishman. We were contacted by Fishman Productions in early 2009 to sell them data for their so-called "telemarketing" company... Direct Media Sales or Teletron or some other probably fictitious name. They conned us in to offering them terms and then started making excuses why wires were not sent and monies were not available. The whole time trying to hide under the umbrella of being a "wholey owned subsidiary" of Fishman Productions - Who by the way say that they are a tv and film production house? I wonder how many other people have been scammed by Fishman Productions or Teletron or DMS (Direct Media Sales) or whatever their actual name is. We are sitting on pile of past due, unpaid invoices and have not received any payments.
Be very very weary when dealing with Fishman Productions and remember to get your money UP FRONT. Do not take their word for anything... and certainly do not offer them terms. And certainly dont try to get them on the phone - they will screen your calls and not call back. My advice: If you are in the lead/media business or a writer, actor, actress or anyone who is thinking about doing business with Fishman Productions... RUN (don't walk) in the other direction!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I assume this thread is talking about the same Jeff Fishman who claims to have been in the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander? The same Jeff Fishman who's son works at Netflix and is best friends with the Development producer at STX? Old bald and has one excuse after another? Drive a BMW series 3 covertable? Yes run away fast, I wish I found this website a long time ago
I have had the misfortune to deal with Jeff Fishman and United Cinema Group recently and I am sorry that I did. I wished I would have looked up and read these comments before I wasted my time with this guy. He will string you along acting like he knows everything about show business, talks about all the TV shows he's working on but can not show any proof of what he is saying. "Buyer Beware" with this guy!
Agreed. I found him totally full of it. Thankfully I was not taken advantage of. I'd like to see that background report!
Jeff Fishman is a shady guy to say the least. Just make sure you run a background check on him (its well worth the money). He has multiple small claims against him. Ask him to show you past performance records or past projects. He told me he was a producer of True Lies and Collateral Damage but I ask around and I looked up multiple sources for credits and nothing is mentioned of Jeff. I talked with some people who work for Paramount and know one knows who he is. Just google Jeff 's name and see how many red flags come up. He will tell you all day this is not him. He is a great liar so just protect yourself. This guy makes a living scamming people.
I am not in the industry so I thought he was legit at first. The more time I spent with him I saw his true colors.
Much like everyone else on this page (except for 'Stephan1') I was also scammed and promised monies for a project that I spent several months working on. Not only am I disgusted to hear that this is how he does business with a lot of other individuals, I'm even more disgusted to see that he has apparently changed the name of Fishman Productions to 'United Cinema Group, LLC' ...

Stephen1, you sir must be in on the scam. Also please show me which response has a personal attack on the family? All of these are completely true and Jeff Fishman must not be allowed to continue his scamming.
Stephen1 if you are so sure this is not a scam, get Jeff Fishman to pay me the money that he owes from a couple months ago (he knows where to send it) and get him to respond to my phone calls and texts and emails. Oh by the way it has been said it was in the mail multiple times. So... yeah complete scam, very pathetic.
Stephen1's comment should be removed as it is likely Fishman or a close friend who wants to see Fishman prey upon more people that don't do their research on Fishman in advance. BBB here I come.
Jeff Fishman is what is wrong with this industry and this world. Avoid at all costs.
I have been doing business with him for years and STRONGLY DISAGREE to these complaints. His wife also has a very strong code of ethics by which she does business. Frankly, I am very SUSPICIOUS of these unregulated complaints on his and her work ethic. Especially since the Jeff Fishman in Hollywood, CA is NOT 63. I find ALL of these NEGATIVE COMPLAINTS to be FALSE. They should be removed because they are obviously very PERSONAL ATTACKS on the family.
I have recently dealt with Fishman Productions and have found him to be great to deal with. I do not see any validity to the previously stated accusations and have found him to be credible. In addition, Direct Media Sales has supplied quality leads and has helped grow my business.
Yes, this is all about the same Fishman who rents an office at Paramount and claims to have a development deal with Paramount Pictures (he does NOT).
You can see his two and a half credits on IMDB - none of it having ANYTHING to do with Paramount. They wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.

Just another nobody who claims to be "connected" to scam people out of their money, claim connections to entertainment industry projects and create credibility out of thin air. Fishman is rotten and his business practices stink to high heavens!
Can you imagine how these "Universal Dead" people are going to be embarrassed when everyone realizes that their press claims were a pure lie? There is no "feature film deal with Paramount" and there will never be one! Wishful thinking based on fishy lies. They should have known better, though. Hundreds of companies rent offices at Paramount Studios - that doesn't mean they have anything to do with Paramount. How about doing some due diligence, people?
Please confirm if these complaints are related to Jeff Fishman (63 years old) who is representing:
1. That he has a film development deal with Paramount Studios
2. Picture deal with Halle Berry.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Also, is his wife's name Rochelle and what is her involvement in the film company at Paramount.
Their name says it all - fishy, fishy, fishy... Not real moviemakers or industry people. They tout renting an office at Paramount as though that means something - ANYONE can rent an office there. It doesn't mean they're a legitimate company and certainly doesn't mean they're involved with Paramount. A total joke and typical H'wood fish flakes.

Everyone is correct. This is a group that has convenient amnesia and takes advantage of other's good and trusted business intentions on a regular basis. They even go around and spread libel generously to create mistrust amongst connected people. If any of what they said were believable or even true, it wouldn't be so simultaneously amusing and despicable.
We entered into an exchange deal where Fishman Productions LTD were provided access that you can't buy to a series of VIP events they had no connection with whatsoever. The provision on their end was rooming for my clients and I. Without even alerting us, they disappeared the first day with their passes and somehow forgot to let us know they were leaving as well as checking everyone out. Guess who was hit with an unexpected housing bill at a luxury hotel?
Even non-monetary deals are dishonorable with this group. Do not believe a word of what they tell you, because it will only be what they think you want to hear. Nothing about this group is honorable or in alignment.

The commentary above is the exact experience I had in a service agreement with Fishman Productions, LTD. Worse yet, we initiated a time-sensitive project, which they promised the arrival of funding to be paid out for day after day. In the meanwhile, they asked for more and more outlandish things to be delivered on a deadline... worked with a "lot loser" party putana hoping to receive tips from their potential investors, while delaying payments and playing games with accounts and credit cards. The entire crew supports the shadiness of this operation.
Worse yet, the leader of these misfits, who rents out an office at Paramount to give himself credibility (that even IMDB can't confirm), takes every bit of information handed out to him in a consulting agreement, goes around everyone's back, and tries to collect commissions (that don't exist in this structure) and kudos for himself. He single handedly pissed off an entire corporation in two days, as well as every contact I implicitly trust.
RUN FAR! DO NOT STOP AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE GREEDY AND BOTTOM FEEDING [censor]S!
