Fisher & Paykel Appliances major lack of customer service

I have had problems with my Fisher and Paykel condenser dryer twice within the year and a half I've had it, with great stress and anger I'm saying that's not even the biggest problem that number one spot belongs to the outrageous length of time you are left on hold waiting for someone to answer in my case 2.30 to 3 hours, two and three days running after that amount of time waiting a person does need to give up and hang up because of such things as a life to deal with instead of hanging off the end of a phone waiting for someone to answer.
then when I finally got someone Monday last week I was put onto a tect and he put my appointment on hold saying he would like to put it up in the meeting Saturday to just replace the dryer because it maybe an ongoing problem and they would just replace the dryer and he would call me Saturday and let me know.
He didn't call, then I spent another 2hours and 3.15 hours over the next two days respectively, trying to get through yet again, when I did get through a lady then told me he is not in but she would leave him a message to call me after 3pm wed to tell me the verdict, he didn't call !
I have now spent Thursday (3.30min) and now today Friday I'm currently on hold yet again (1.50min and counting) I will have to hang up in no later then another hour because of having to go out to a function.
I'm barely holding in my anger to the point I feel sick to the stomach with this absurd lack of customer service and to top it off my little flat for the last two weeks looks like a Chinese laundry thanks to no dryer ( I have no ! cloths line facility's that's why I rely on a dryer)
I wouldn't bother with this fisher and paykel product if it wasn't for the fact it is still in warranty but let me tell you once its out of warranty and the first thing that goes wrong with it, its going to be kicked to the curd and I will never ever buy another Fisher and paykel product because of their gross lack of customer service and follow through alone

Fisher & Paykel Appliances lack of service and communication - fischer & paykel (wellington)

Case ID [protected] and Service Tracking number [protected] refers (Fisher & Paykel references)

We have been trying, unsuccessfully at this point, to have a ranger hood repaired which is still under warranty.

The first communication to F&P was on 28 Nov 2019. To date our tenant at 201B/2 Elizabeth Street has been without a functional ranger hood. NO communication since 4 December 2019 has been forthcoming from F&P, regardless of numerous follow-up attempts from ourselves. Note that we can not get hold of the Customer Care line either as the average waiting time on a phone call inquiry now exceeds 1 hour. Its also of no use to opt for the call-back option as no-one has responded to this either.

We are at our wits end to try and resolve this matter and stand to suffer reputational damage due to the perceived lack of customer service from Fisher & Paykel.

An urgent repair is required please!

Fisher & Paykel Appliances lifestyle dishdrawer purchased in 2016

Hi fisher paykel
Its apalling that i have to get my dishdrawer repaired twice in last two month with 1 drawer each time..
Its been only less than 3 years that the product has been used unfortunately.each time costing me a call out fee and replacing the heating element.
I purchased this product and moved from Parmco...which lasted me 10 years without any issues at all.
Can u up your game as i have paid top dollars for this unit and refund me some of the cost.
I am totally disappointed and would raise a complaint to consumer service...

Fisher & Paykel Appliances washing machine

Purchased a washing machine, Haier brand which is owned and made by Fisher & Paykel. Tried to fit in the washing machine and the drum just kept filling with water and would not stop. We called customer service on the Sunday we tried to fit it to be told, 'we are unsure of the problem we will get someone to contact you tomorrow(Monday). Suprise suprise noboday called. I then called customer service on Tuesday and told the lady me and my partner work full time 8-4.30 and we can do after 5pm weekdays and anytime weekends, which she told me was fine and she understood. She then tried to book my appointment 'We can do next Tuesday ( a week away) between 12 and 5 and proceeded to give me these appointments she told me she understood we cannot do. I ended the call and went onto the online live chat, where someone was helpful and got someone out to me but they did not have the part to fix it. Almost a week later i am still waiting to hear about the part and what is going on and still without a washing machine. To top it all off, i firstly sent a request for someone to contact me before i called customer service, 10 days later they emailed me back. Poor customer service and i am very disappointed we have moved into our new place and have the stress of this and still have no washing machine. I will never again be purchasing from these and would not adivse anyone to buy fisher and paykel. Absolute jokes and i will be reporting them and their shocking customer service. Its asif they dont even care we have to hand wash our clothes and have recieved nothing from them.

Fisher & Paykel Appliances oven /new faulty fan

This oven was fitted over a month ago, it has a faulty fan which we complained about immediately and still Fisher & Paykel have not been out to replace. After many calls that have all lasted more that 36 minutes, last one today over 54 minutes. I am told it will not be replaced until the end of the months. This is not acceptable, you service is a joke.
Our heavily pregnant client is extremely upset that she has not been able to use her new oven and now I have to tell her that it wont be done for another month.

we will never recommend your products to any client in the future if this is the way you work. I was promised by your department a serviceman would be out Monday and that is not happening.

It is not good enough.

Fisher & Paykel Appliances Washing Machine

Hi ! We have issues with our washing machine.We complaint many time to company.They just send some one to see the machine.But after they said no issues with machine just loading problem.But why this problem getting .We are not using machine first time.This is the only machine which is creating problem.When we use this machine getting error E3 which is same from first day when we start to get prob.Rinsing problem .Our all black clothes gets whiter with washing powder we have pics for that .It's now more than 4 months we are getting this prob.We ask them to replace but they said we can't .But we paid for this.If customer getting problem with your product they should help us & resolve the prob ASAP.We have machine but we still need to pay for laundry why? Please advice us what we can do .We want replace it ASAP.thank you Sim

Fisher & Paykel Appliances fridge

Our fridge was picked up (25/1/18) and returned for repairs by Fisher & Paykel and our floors were significantly damaged in the process. We have been trying to resolve this with F&P (we are seeking compensation for the damage from F&P) for almost a year and a half and the matter has not progressed at all. We have sent them the photos of the damage and the quote for repairs to our flooring. We have been told that the transport company would be in touch (which they haven't) however we maintain that it is the responsibility of F&P, not the transport company, to resolve this matter with us directly (as the transport company is contracted by F&P). We have written countless emails, most go unanswered, and recently requested the matter be escalated as a corporate complaint (twice) and still haven't had a response.

Fisher & Paykel Appliances fridge

The lower shelves of both freezer and refrigerator is freezing and no cooling in the upper sections since last ten days. Order no is [protected]. Product model- RX628D. My entire vacation is spoilt and has costed me heaps alongside the trouble. All my frozen food including sea food and other meat thawed and had to be thrown including heaps of fruits, vegetables, dairy products, heaps of lemons from my tree. The technician has visited twice and today we were told the fan needs to be replaced which will be ordered and seems no idea of how long its going to take. This is absolutely unacceptable. There should be something done asap, each day is a trouble without the fridge.

Fisher & Paykel Appliances glass door of oven (electric) new 2007, exploded. glass looks like a thousand spider webs. edge of glass is in pieces

I was heating spring rolls for evening meal like we have done many times before. Then a large bang . Glass from internal rim of glass in pieces in the oven and on the floor when I opened the door. The oven glass door looks like a thousand spider webs but is intact. All electrics are working. We are 77 yrs. it was frightening to me. I cannot get to speak to anyone. I get a typed chat line who ridiculously asked me HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON. Then put me onto someone who wants $54 BUT IT WILL BE REFUNDABLE..Yea right Who by. Not one person has offered an explanation for the door nor what F and P May be going to do about it. My friends are gob smacked. A oven explodes and not one person is interested. I HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU. The photo underneath shows the glass door and the open glass oven door laying down and the floor tiles under

Fisher & Paykel Appliances double drawer dishwasher

Initially didn't notice the issue with both the top and bottom drawers skipping automatically to the next wash selection. I thought I was touching it by accident. After paying more attention, I noticed the wash selection it would continue to change by itself. It also locked the drawer by itself. It would also change wash selections during the middle of the wash, thus leaving some cycles in complete.
Service tech called and after 3 visits and ALL boards replaced, still not fixed. Now the washer skips settings and no longer chimes. Terrible customer service, service communication and status updates. Service rep will not provide supervisors contact info nor will they have the supervisors call me personally but continue to tell me they are just the "middle men." The problem is now I am actually the middle man between the service repair provider team and their awful customer service line. Never, ever again Fisher & Paykel.
Do not buy!

Fisher & Paykel Appliances rangehood packed up three times

Worst Product/Worst Service Delivery

I have had the one of the worst product/customer service with F&P. We installed the brand new undermount rangehood for our new home and it broke down soon after we moved in and the second replacement broke down again and I have been waiting over 2 months for the replacement. The unnecessary hassles that I have to deal with constant visit from technicians, phone calls to customer service centre and having to take time off to wait for technician multiple visits is very frustrating.

Fisher & Paykel Appliances washing machine

We bought a washing machine online while we were in Europe and having our house in Australia renovated. The machine was installed in June 2018 and we returned on 29th October to settle in. I put the machine on the test rinse and it half filled, clicked off and stopped with locked door and err 105. I called F&P and the earliest tech visit was 7th November. The tech came and said the mother board was needing replaced so I had to wait for another week. He came yesterday and replaced the board, left and ten minutes later I turned the machine on . It half filled with water, clicked and stopped. Locked door and err 105 again! I called F&P who said I could have another tech call out next Saturday! This machine has never been used yet they will not replace it. There is something wrong with it and they can put as many new boards as they want but it is not going to work. I want it out of my laundry and a new machine but no One will talk to me about replacement. Is there anyone who can help? I am going nuts!

Fisher & Paykel Appliances service call

My Reference Number for a Service Call is: 3498797
I booked a service with the company for Tuesday 2nd October and was told someone would be there between 7am - 12noon. I arranged for people to attend my house to wait for the service repair men. I phoned the company several times to ask the status of the driver. I was informed at approx. 11:15am they were leaving a job in East Melbourne and would be there in 15 mins. I called again at 12noon to be informed they would be arriving shortly. Called again at 12:30 to be informed they were going to another job first before attending my job at approx. 1:15-1:30pm. As you can imagine I'm very frustrated sitting at work to be told this and have my daughter waiting for the technicians to arrive when she has arranged an appointment at 2pm. I find the service very unsatisfactory as I have done all the phone calling and not once has anyone from Fisher & Paykle called to inform me what was going on.

Fisher & Paykel Appliances freestanding cooker

Reference Number 345 7992

I have been trying to get the oven fixed on our dual fuel freestanding cooker.

It was to be repaired on Aug 22 2018 but was advised the service reps van had broken down. It was re booked for today Aug 27

The technician arrived and looked at the cooker and said he could not do anything as it was dual fuel. He left and as he did so said I needed to contact customer relations - but no number provided

I spoke with customer relations and a message was left on my home phone that I needed to contact a gas plumber to fix the cooker. But given it is the electric oven a gas plumber cannot fix this

I then rang customer relations again and the matter is being looked into. But I still have no oven, and no idea when it is going to be fixed.

The service is a disgrace. It was booked as a dual fuel freestanding cooker, so why cant the correct technician be sent to fix it. And why am I not being updated about progress

Fisher & Paykel Appliances washing machine and a condenser dryer

Bought a condenser dryer and washer from Fisher & Paykel in 2016. Both these devices have given me nothing but problems for two years. Similar issues occur and technicians are sent every 6 months to rectify one item or another. I have just called to raise the same issue again and been told its past warranty and out of goodwill I will need to meet them half way and either bring the dryer off the table or pay for another technician. This was after multiple promises in the past that they will provide me the same service as before if the issues of the past were to occur since i did clearly raise that they have never permanently rectified problems. Best statement, we are doing you a favour out of goodwill to send someone over, you need to meet us halfway and pay for the second technician. Why was this never the case before? Also note in the past when they said they were sending two technicians, usually sent just one. Reliability of equipment and customer care is complete garbage. Never ever will I recommend this product and brand to anyone.

Fisher & Paykel Appliances technician

Today a technician came to my home to repair my dishwasher. He used my bathroom after completing the job. He left puddles of his urine on my bathroom floor and my toilet. what a disgusting disgrace to treat someones home like this. Needless to say, I spent $240 on the repair and then hours cleaning up after he soiled my bathroom floor and trampled it through my entire home... what a day! I should have splurged for a new dishwasher.. id rather that then clean random urine off my floor! thanks Fisher and Paykal!

I needed a washing machine seal fixed and your service person came and fixed it on the 20.3.18 his service was ok but we were not impressed that he left his rubbish and old part in my laundry and a container of drained water on the floor my washing machine was also left un level too so did not spin properly lucky my husband could fix that

Fisher and Paykel are the Fuken worst brand in the world, go [censor] yourselves for ripping people of u [censor]s, never buy from them...on that note here's what happen I Bought a fisher and Paykel wash machine for $1700Aud after 8 months the wash machine broke down. I had the technician come out he replaced the part but after 2 days it still didn't work, he came out the second time wasn't sure what the issue was he called one person then called someone else and said they have to order a part in, waited 2 weeks for the part and had no wash machine, also have 3 kids both me and my husband working full time it was a really pain not having a machine.After 2 weeks he came out replaced the part..guess what after 1 week the machine broke down again and this time it had a burning smell coming out of it. So I called back and the tech came out and this time he told me that the machine is faulty and he will put a request for a new one, and someone will call me on that same day to organise this and i was put through as high priority...no one called, I kept calling the customer service line everyday following this up then two weeks of calling and waiting I finally got a call telling me they are not giving me a new one but they are going to take my wash machine to repair it and give me a courtesy wash machine. I had to wait another 6 days for the delivery to come and guess what no curtesy wash machine. I had to wait 3 weeks for it to get repaired and finally it came back. But after 2 months yep the machine broke down again, this time it was the control system so the tech came out couldn't fix it, i was told the same [censor] u should get a new one ur on priority blah blah blah ...waited 5 days got a call was told they will take the machine to repair it, at that point I had enough told the person on the phone we're to go, my husband through the machine out and went bought a Bosch. My husband was so angry that he sat at the electrical store and every person that looked at a fisher and Paykel machine he would show them this site and turn them way..customers actually asked as for the website

Fisher & Paykel Appliances online service booking

I booked an online service for my dishwasher, ref no: [protected] and received confirmation that it was on 01/02/18 between 7am and 12pm. Please see attached confirmation.
When nobody turned up, I rang the 1300 service line and was told my appointment was for 14/02/18. Why is there a discrepancy and why is it that I'm the one that had to rearrange my day to make sure I was at home when nobody was turning up. I am extremely inconvenienced and unhappy. I have rung another place to fix my dishwasher now.

Fisher & Paykel Appliances 48" range

Have had DCS range for 1 1/2 years...center burner ignitor went out and repairman could not get top of range off because the nuts holding on the burners, "were frozen" according to Fisher Paykel...FP instructed to "grind" the burners out and even had a video to show how to do it, obviously this had been a problem before. Repairman could not believe what he had to do to simply change an ignitor...this was over a $700 job! Ignitor was $75...Only after several nasty emails to FP, and one very nasty threatening phone call to the FP rep, did we get this covered. I am all for all of us banning together and making FP take responsibility for their defective very expensive ranges!
