FirstSource Solutions Harassed and released information to 3rd party

I contacted the collection company to settle a debt. I informed them that I would call them back when I received verification from the bank. But I would not do a check by phone I would send a cashiers check. They called me 5 times within an hour on my cell phone and called my home and shared information with someone that answered the phone without authorization. Repeated word for word the conversation, amount owed, settlement info, that I was going to borrow the money to pay this debt off, even included that I would call them back. I called the company back and spoke to the woman who admitted she shared information. I know this is a violation of my rights. Is there anything that can be done?

i keep getting new collection agencies, Firstsource being the latest, trying to collect on an account and adding to my credit reports, from Windstream that has been investigated and dismissed in 2014. i don't know what to do. As soon as i show proof to one, another agency takes it over. i do not understand why the credit bureaus keep allowing this to happen either. any help?

FirstSource Solutions Pull Credit & Collection Calls

I keep getting calls from FirstSource Advantage LLC as a Collection Agency demand for the debt that I never owe. Then I checked my credit report and found out that they pulled my credit under the "general inquiries" which affect my credit score.

FirstSource Solutions Terrible company

Mervyn's closed in our area several months ago. I had not shopped there in almost 2 years, & had not received any bills from them. On Thursday, April 2, 2009, I received a call from a woman who said she worked for firstsource, a collection agency trying to collect $20.41 that was a bad debt from Mervyn's. I said that I had not shopped there for quite a while & had received no bills. She quoted an address, where I had never lived. In fact, it is a shopping center. I said that I was sure that I had not made a purchase, that I had purchased a home recently with no credit issues. I would pay if she could send me an itemized statement & if I had made the purchase. She said she would send me a statement, verified my address. Why was I called before a statement was sent? I asked that she note my account that I not be called again. Another call on Friday, April 3, 2009, same dialogue. Monday, April 6, 2009 a third call from India. I explained again. So many calls so close together is harassment. He said it was not harassment, just doing his job, and that he 'gets his money from you (me)'. Informed him I would report him to dept of Consumer Affairs & hung up. Then went online to look for Mervyn's and found this site.

look it is the job of the collector to collect the money that U OWE to them or there clint that they are working for if u don't have the money then don't run up the bill. Also they can call as much as they want just no twice in a day unless u give per verb to do so. Remmber u owe there client money that U TOOK and signed a writen agreement the u would pay back the money. As far as a wrong address it's nothing it happens all the time people move if u were current on all ur bill and responsable u wouldn't have that problem. o ya the other thing is is that they also have the right to call anyone in ur family if they find a # for them so if u ignore ur bill or the call they can and have the right to call anyone in ur family. how ever they can't disclose the nature of the call and only can ask to take message or ver phone # or address. people just pay ur bills

FirstSource Solutions Not my account

I SEVERAL OCCASIONS HAVE TOLD THIS REDICULOUSLY HARRASSING COLLECT AGENCY THAT I AM NOT THE PERSON THEY ARE LOOKING FOR WHEN THEY CALL. THEY ARE ASKING FOR JOANNE, AND I AM NOT HER. I TOLD THEM NOT TO CALL ME AS I AM NOT THE PERSON THAT THEY ARE SEEKING, I WAS THEN HARRASSED WITH THREE MORE CALLS BEFORE MY HUSBAND, A POLICE OFFICER, WAS HECKLED BY THE TELEMONNUNICATION IDIOT. I TOLD MY HUSBAND TO GIVE ME THE PHONE AS I AM TRAINED IN LAW. I THEN SPOKE WITH ANDY BACON, A SUPERVISOR THAT HE WAS CLAIMING TITLE OF, WHO WAS DISRESPECTFUL, UNAPOLOGITIC, AND FURTHERMORE, TAUNTING AS IF HE HAD THE RIGHT TO PLAY GOD. HE STATED TO ME WHEN I ASKED FOR THE ORIGINAL MALES NAME THAT I SPOKE WITH, THAT IT WOULD TAKE DAYS TO FIND OUT BECAUSE HE IS IN ONE OF THREE BUILDINGS AND SUPERVISES 15 PEOPLE SO"IT WOULD TAKE ME DAYS TO FIND OUT, I SUPERVISES 15 PEOPLE." I DEMANDED THE ADDRESS OF THE COMPANY AND DEMANDED THEY DO NOT CALL. ******IF YOU HAVE ANY TROUBLE WITH THIS COMPANY AND WOULD LIKE TO PURSUE OTHER AVENUES...CONTAC T ME (JD. THOMPSON) AT [protected]@YAHOO.COM I WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY HUMAN POWER TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND AND RESEARCH YOUR OPTIONS AGAINST HARRASSMENT AND OTHER COMPLAINTS AGAINST THIS COMPANY AND ITS SUPPOSED TRAINED EMPLOYEES. I WILL NOT REST UNTIL I GET MY WAY!
if you do not want to contact me that is fine, i have included their address and a managers name, and want to let you know that if you contact the amheart, ny commissioner of revenue, that they can give you all the titled information, including the corporate officer that is responsible for this business, and the number to the state corporate officer office...that will give you the name of the person that has to be served legally for law suits, or colection letters. remember that even if you do owe a debt, you can enforce them not contacting you at all by writing a letter with that demand. check all local and federal laws, including the UCC and FCC and collections laws to further your involvement and let me know how it goes! it is a little work, but really once you do it once, it will be simple to hel p yourself and others int he future like i am doing now.

Thank you for the helpful information. This company has been contacting me to settle a paltry - but nonexistent - debt.

I am arming myself with all correspondence with the agency that was supposed to have reported to me to collections, and other documentation.

I would love to see this company brought to justice with a class action lawsuit, and am investigating that possibility.

i agree on this company so called firstsource hc advantage.. i myself have a complaint as well. i called them and asked them that i needed to know information on a account that was on my credit report.. he asked if my name was janice. i told him no.. he asked for the account number, i gave it.. then he asked again for my name and social. he said he could not find my name or account.. i told him that there was an error and that the account that was on my credit report needed to be taken off. his reply was that they couldnt since they didnt have an account with my name.. i told him that how then did they put this account on my credit report. his reply was if i was in anyway related.. i still told him no.. i told him again. that it needs to be taken of credit report. he said that he couldnt, that i would have to call the credit beaureu to have them take it off. i told him since they were the ones that put it on my report, they are responsible to take it off.. he still said that he couldnt do that since they didnt have an account under my name? same thing, you need to take it off, not my account. and he hung up on me.

FirstSource Solutions Awful experience

I still have the message received this week Dec 29, 2008. I did not respond to him. I downloaded a complaint form to be submitted to the NC State Attorney Generals office, but have not submitted it. The very first thing I did was to google 'First Source Advantage, and found out it was a Scam. Today I found your web site, Sunday Jan 3, 2009, and Here I am. can my report be of any value to you, and can you advise me of a course of action.

I'm glad Mr.Man above doesn't have any debt hooray for you! Must be nice to be high and mighty but I agree with the rest of you this is insane and unneccessary. I don't like having bad credit and it certainly doesn't help anything, I did it to myself and I'm the only one that can fix it but that IS NOT an incentive. They must be nuts to think they can have my cheking account number!

Why is it that most of the supervisors and managers at Firstsource Advantage are beyond fat and could be categorized as obese?

You know who you are. You're the fat food sucking FDCPA violating pigs of this joke of a company.

You people are pathetic. Can't wait until you have health issues and get collection calls for your coronary bypasses.

Pigs!

Well I for one used to work at First Source and yes most of the things they do ARE illegal. For the most part its the managers/supervisers that are crooked. They run accounts on a computer system called the "Dialer" and it calls every account, even accounts that have been called already, which violates FDCPA. There are different laws for different states. For example, in some states your not to contact a customer more than 2x a week but they still have you call anyway. If you are trying to make arrangements with them, the worse thing you can do is to tell them you want to pay but you need time, cause then you are what they call a "hot account" and they will call you multiple times a day until the debt is paid. I have seen many times where there were customers who wanted to pay but they had a collector lying to them telling them that they can only make arrangements of high amounts of money just so that they can hit their goal. As far as customers getting calls from India, alot of the "hot accounts" go to that site because they own First Source. We used to get so many calls from customers who wanted to deal with the Amherst site but we were told that we were not allowed to work on those accounts and we also couldn't tell customers that the company was owned by them. I think that people need to learn they're rights and know the FDCPA laws so that they know how to fight back against scummy collection companies like FSA. Its sad because there are alot of really good people who work in collections and they really do try to help customers while following the client's guidelines but its companies like this one that give us all a bad rep.

A collector from First Source i asked are you from "FirstSource Advantage"LLC she said no never heard of them. Weird she was calling about the same account First source company was. How do i get the # for capital one target comp? Bet i will find it somehow determined/ Ok : You dont have to say things like "You guys just want a reason to get out of the debt that you racked up" thats too far hope your not a credit collector its that attitude that gives creditors a bad name. I use to think they were suppose to gather info for the purpose of collecting the money that is due. Now i am thinking they are well, , , , not helping anything at all just pushing ppl further away from paying and giving ppl reason to sue= lack of character is hard in person shouldnt be that hard over the phone if collectors are just doing there job. Sure there wiull always be that few ( on both side).
ps: I know im a bad speller so if u have a neg. remark dont use that sop out i know i owe money but i cant see why companies like firrst source advantage cant take responsability for there actions as well to begin with.(b 4 the lawyers have to come in)

Its not a scam... I dont know where you people get this. I can assure you they are real accounts. You guys just want a reason to get out of the debt that you racked up. Not one thing about that company is a scam. They get the accounts from the credit companies so if its a scam contact capital one target or any of the other companies that they collect for.

FirstSource Solutions Law breaking

First Source Advantage banks on the fact that most consumers do no know the laws or their rights. I for one know both. This company has violated my rights and Public Law Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. They started calling me in December of 08 offering a settlement on an old outstanding account. I accepted the settlement and told them if my Christmas bonus was enough I would pay this on Dec 27. I then started receiving at least 3 calls a day asking me to put this on a post dated check. I refused to do so as I dont have a checking account nor would I write it when I dont even know if the money would be there. I then received a notice on Dec 18th that I had given them a post dated check in the amount of the settlement. I called them and stated I received this letter but I had not given them a check the man stated that he knew that he used someone else banking information in order to "hold the settlement for me" I was so shocked that he did this that I informed them that I would not be paying this bill thru them and I ordered them to cease and desist all communications with me at that time. I also informed them that every call they made to me cost me money as they were calling my cell phone and that the FDCPA states that their actions may not cause me to incure any cost. From that day on I started receiving phone calls from them at least 10 times a day including 17 phone calls on Christmas Eve. I called them again and informed them that they were put on notice to cease and desist all calls to me as every call they made to me after that was a violation of the law. I also informed them that the law states making a phone ring in order to harass a consumer is a violation and I felt harassed by so many phone calls a day. The other problem I was having is the FDCPA gives me the right to sue a debt collection company and the debt collector individually for any violation but First Source Advantage makes their calls from and their incoming calls go to India. I do not have the ability to sue, depose, or otherwise bring action against an individual in India so again my rights under the FDCPA are being violated. On Thursday January 8th I received 12 calls that morning and was getting very frustrated. Then I received a call from my sister stating that they called her and gave her my name, address, social security number, home phone number and cell phone number and then told her what bill they were collecting on. The FDCPA states they can only call a third party for location information. Since they gave her all that information they already knew this information and had no right to call her. Also, the third party disclosure of the fact that I had a bill and which one it was is just another example of the gross misconduct of this company. At that time I called again very irate. I spoke with a Mr Mconnely and he admitted he third party disclosed and said "hey it worked you called us back." I tried to politely ask him to again cease and desist and he refused stating they would continue to call me and my family until I paid my bill. Then he stated they would involve the local police department as the check I gave them by phone bounced. I told him to call the police as I had not given him a check he said yes you did and I have it on tape. I asked him to play the tape for me as I have no checking account and he is accusing me of committing bank fraud and he refused. I instructed him to keep that copy available as my attorney will want to hear it and ended the call. About an hour later I was called to the hospital as my daughter was taken in for possible gall bladder attack. While at the hospital still on Thursday they called me 2 more times. Friday rolled around and I received less calls than usual only 5 that day. I answered all 5 told them I was at the hospital and to again never call me again but yet it continued. I informed them again that under the FDCPA you can only make one unsolicited contact with a consumer a day and I had already spoke with them several times and this was yet another violation of my rights. I returned home Saturday morning from the hospital ready to get some rest and at 8:14 in the morning they called me again. I asked for the compliance officer and they refused I asked again to speak with someone in America and they refused. He did admit to all of the fraud and violations and claims they will not call me again but did tell me they were going to take me to court. Frustrated I reminded him he was in India and had no jurisdiction over me and pleaded with him to get an Ohio attorney and file against me as I would love to see them in court. My course of action is to post this story on every complaint board I can find, I will be filing a complaint with the Ohio and New York Attorney Generals offices, the BBB, and hopefully filing suit against this pathetic company in a court of competent jurisdiction. I have been in collections as a manager for 15 years and I would never tolerate such ignorance of the law. I hope that someone in our government takes note that allowing collection agencies to violate the laws and hide behind the fact that their agents are in India and cant be sued personally is bad for the American consumer and bad for a badly needed industry, Good legal bill collectors.
I had just completed writing this and was getting ready to send it as I received my third call of the day still on saturday the 10th and it is not even 9 am yet. I asked him why he was calling me and he said cause your a ### and I wanted to tell you to suck my dick. I hung up the phone sent this letter and now intend to call the police.

I am now retired. However, for 20 years I was employed in senior Account Management roles for a very large Outsourcer in the USA and Europe. We used to contract mostly fixed price. The scope of work was clearly defined and the price of work clearly agreed and contracts signed before work began. It was almost normal practice for the client to argue over the price, after the product was delivered, on time with no quality issues. It was considered good/smart business for clients to demand a lower price (usually claiming that the project didn't use as many resources as they figured it would) or delay payment for many months. Financial Institutions were the largest offenders, along with automobile companies. Surely if large institutions can act this way over millions, the consumer is merely doing the same thing but on a lesser scale. We live in a society where we have established a dog eat dog mantra. Many wealthy people do not pay their debts without a settlement offer first, some don't pay their debts and are well known for this. Insurance companies frequently try to find excuses not to pay up, it is all a case of trying to get as much as possible on one hand, and trying to give as little as possible on the other. It is the same now in employment. Employers pay as little as possible, the employees do as little work as possible.

Firstsource Advantage causes nightmares by their collection efforts. They won't listen unless you take them to court. And.. it's much easier than you may think to take them to court. If you have had problems with firstsource advantage, or first source advantage, contact me here on this forum and I will tell you how you can fight back, and I don't charge anything to help you with that information. IF they called your cell phone, without your prior express consent, you could be entitled to $1, 500 per call.

Hey hi everyone, i worked with a collection co. one year back, i am not making up stories but trust me its not an easy job to be a collector, though it may be the most degraded profession yet its not all that cool. I was never aware about the fact that collectors abuse because we are bounded by FDCPA and we go through refresher trainings every month. I may agree to the fact that we do make multiple calls that is only because we need a contact. A collector makes calls for 9 continuous hour and get only 1-2 max contacts and he has to collect on those even if he gets 5 contacts 3 will be on disability and the other 2 unemployed, therefore i said its not an easy task to be a collector. And with regards to stop calling, collectors have their own ways of taking whatever you say, for instance if you say i do not want calls they will ask you on this number? if you say yes they will try another number, so you need to tel them you don't want them contacting you through calls, then they tag the account so no one can call, and if they do, they can even loose their jobs and no one would wanna do that... Last but not the least i am an Indian and i took calls from India i respect the Americans and i understand the standard of living out there is expensive and we do understand that, its not that we work because we are unemployed we work coz no one out there wants to work for collections. i am extremely sorry i am saying this but we have plenty of co. here in India to employ us we do not need to take up jobs like collection but we do it... I am sayin all of this coz we have always been regraded and i would not know why... I am now working for American Express Fraud team and i get appreciated by customers and managers everyday for the work i do... Just because we are dark skin does not make ur criminals... Anyways Tkc and God Bless.

I repeatedly received calls from First Source Advantage at my place of business. Whenever I would answer the calls and identify who I was and what department...whomever would hang up. Finally, after two weeks, I finally took down the phone number and called it back. This place would quickly rush over their name (First Source Advantage) and refused to tell me why they were calling. The gentleman (I use the word loosely) did ask if I was another person. When I confirmed that I didn't know that person and that this was my direct business line, he said he would make sure the record was corrected. When I asked why he was calling, he got very indignant and said that he couldn't explain their business practices. I asked if it was their business practice to repeated call phone numbers and disconnect when a live person answered the phone. I explained that this problem could have been solved two weeks ago if someone had simply done the professional thing and identify themselves when they got my number. This representative got very indignant but said my number would be removed from their database. WRONG!

About 3 hours later...I got another call. When I called them back, the person I spoke with explained that it took 24 hours to remove someone from a database. Okay...I get that. But she gave me a completely different name of who they were looking for. When I asked for a supervisor, he proceeded to say it was my fault because I should have called then right back the first time they called. Seriously? I'm working and I'm suppose to call back every wrong number I get. He said that sometimes people give the wrong number by mistake and wanted me to give him the operator so he could ask to be connected to the person in question. Again...seriously? At that point I wouldn't have helped him even if this person was the sleaziest low life in the world. No...wait...the sleazy low lifes are those people working for this company.

FirstSource Solutions Fraud and cheating

So I got a call from FirstSource Advantage one day that my credit card account had been sent to them for collection of a 200 dollar bill I hadn't been able to pay due to some personal issues (pregnancy and losing my job because of it). So I started telling them how I couldn't pay at that time... They threatened me a few times that if I didn't pay charges would be pressed and I would go to jail. Knowing that that was just a hoax and a scare tactic I began looking for a job just to get them off of my back! So I finally found a job... I was only hired to work like 6 hours a week cleaning a furniture store. So I called them back and had the money to pay the offer that they gave me (55 dollars a month for 3 months and then I would be done) Well he also said he would check up every month to make sure I had the money in my bank account for him to take out... Well the first month I gave them my account number and authorized a check for SEPTEMBER only... So they got that money out which I authorized... Then October 30th 2008 he called me and asked if I was going to have the money... I specifically told him NO but I would have the amount by the end of November to pay for two months and then I could be done paying! He said okay and that was the end of that... Then he called again later that day and said so... You are NOT authorizing this months payment and I said that is correct... Well yesterday I went to get a few dollars for gas to go to work from the atm and what do ya know I have negative 37.48 in my account so I went to the bank and got a bank statement... the 55 dollar check was sent through and I had insufficient funds so I guess the bank stopped payment and he tried to send it through 3 times after they stopped payments... I however could only get the return fee back onto my account because I hadn't authorized it! So If you ever get a phone call from them run the other direction or ask for a different collection agency!

I needed emergency care and was told I was eligible for Compensated Care since I had no insurance and made less than $3, 000/yr. Hospital told me a representative from the hospital would be in to see me. No one came and I was discharged. Within a couple days I was getting pre-recorded messages from an attorney's office on behalf of Firstsolutions. I refused to return their call, knowing full well they sounded more like a collection agency. I received a letter and forms to fill out and a release for Firstsolutions to sign papers without my knowledge, be able to access my bank account and disclose personal and medical information to whomever they chose to. This company is not a part of the hospital. They did not ask for me to send copies of proof of income to the hospital, which I had on hand @ time of service. Whats more, they only want to know if you've lost income if you are MARRIED. Why, so they can go after the spouses income? If they were out to HELP the injured they would want to know that I(single) have not been able to work now since Jan. 22, 2013 and need Lost Wages compensation. THIS IS A SCAM TO COLLECT

Okay, well you certainly need to stay away from this. They called FAMILY MEMBERS. They will lie, say that someone got ahold of YOUR credit card number, and that you need to give your number to them also, so they can stop it. When we have NEVER heard of them in our lives. They are calling saying: this is not a bill collector, it's very important and we need to talk to him. They act very concerend, there not. they just want your credit card number. There completely FAKE. They called uncles, aunts, grandparents, friends. There very creepy, and sneaky in getting what they want. When they call again, tell them you know whats up and if they keep calling they will get into trouble with the law. If they don't listen, call the cops. Good Luck! -Taylor

if you pay a bill to a *collector* you are getting a score of like 9 out of 10 in terms of severity (bankruptcy is a 10; these are basically arbitrary numbers as FICO only vaguely reveals their pie chart, and there's lots of statistical tricks that reveal credit habits completely isolated from character and willingness to set things right).

NEVER, EVER pay a collector without first writing to them and insisting that they 1) reduce the payment to some fee 2) report the collection as "paid, never late." Also use specific language that states in the letter they are forbidden from corresponding beyond postal mail, save a copy, and use return receipt via USPS. Make it CLEAR AND BOLD any agreement to have the collection account removed from your credit report is necessary before proceeding with any payments. Wait for this letter, and keep it in case they don't get around to it.

Collectors will claim they don't "make such agreements" and it's not true-- they do what makes them money. They say this because they will not get commission on a call that says only write letters, since that's a whole different department.

well ... lol... good news i'm am a bill collector.. been going it for a while... very familiar with the FDCPA ( laws and regulations for collectors) and all the tactics that they use... i'm a friendly collector to... i have the same company contacting me and believe me when i say this.. you can definetly get a law suit against this company as i am about to do... all you have to do is when they call... ask the name of the company and the collectors name... they have to give it to you they are calling your phone... they'll try to disregard your question and keep it moving.. something like ( are you ...?, u say " who's this", they say my name is ... are you ...? ) collectors are trained to be in control of conversations... once you identify the company name the collectors name... you can do one of a few things... tell them they have the wrong # and verify your # to be removed... if you do this and they repeat the number back and you tell them to do this and you receive another call... they are breaking the law.. even if its a bonafide error... if you are the person who owes money ... turn on your voice recorder on your cell phone so if they do harrass you in anyway you have proof because believe me they are recording you also... i've watched collectors do illegal tactics and there are some smart people who record the conversation and have sued my company for $4000 a suit.. and thats just for leaving the wrong type of message or saying the wrong thing to a wrong #... but i have fun when collectors call me because they don't know if they are looking for me or not.. i don't care who they ask for.. i record the conversation and i will be getting paid very soon... some collectors just need to know how to follow the rules and they won't get in any trouble...

but if the call you one time in a day and speak with you or whoever in the household.. and you or whoever didnt give permission for them to call back later in the day.. they cant call you again... if you didnt' speak to them at all then they can call all day until they leave a message... i could go on and on all day. i should leave my email address here so people can email me any questions.. but... lol... i might be calling one of you one day.. but believe me... if you spoke wit me ( not from this company of course) and you wanted to pay your bill... i help... other wise you wouldn't remember me anyway because of how fast i let you off the phone... good luck to all reading.. make sure you record the conversations

Sometimes things happen where you are unable to pay the bill off, Im guessing that you tried to stop a payment that was to go out on that given day. Cancelling a payment needs to be done 24 hours or more in advance. As far as the harassment goes, never have i been harassed from this company, everytime ive spoke with them in regards to my mothers debt they have been very friendly (And yes i do have a POA)

They legally have to tell you who they are, why they are calling, that it's to collect a debt, give you a name, and what that debt is.

if they don't, there are laws to protect you. Also, it is against the law for them to say or do anything specifically harassing.

Marshall Meyers, an atty (he can be looked up on google) is a expert in this field, doesn't charge straight off, and has been a great help!

First Source calls me about someone I have never known. I do not talk to debt collector ###. Here's what I did. It's quite legal. I have a stand alone digital answering machine. To verify what I say, see http://blog.positiveindians.in/call-center/predictive-dialer-disadvantages.html and https://suppoertforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-1353 in your browser. Because power and predictive dialers detect a silence of 0.7 to 1.2 seconds after the initial hello to decide the phone answerer should connect to a live agent, I changed my greeting to Hello... (2 secs) Hello... (2 secs)...Leave...(2 secs)...Message. Shouted of course! Gotta make sure the silences are very clear. Now the dialer sends the answering machine to the live agent, you can hear them begin their spiel, and then switches to the collection message meant for the answering machine. Sometimes the switch goes dark, as the dialer chokes on the error message generated and crashes. There is NO easy inexpensive fix for the collector. It annoys them in return for annoying me who does not owe the collector anything and raises the cost of collection operations (they can well afford it on their obscene profits). This will not work for answering services bundled with smart phones, but is good to go with VOIP.

OK first telephone numbers are not private, the collection agency is fully within their rights to call any number they want to find a debtor, with the exception of work numbers in some states. They have internet software that can find any number you ever had, and every house you lived in. Your sources of income are relevant because they are trying to figure out how much you can afford to pay. Your home and two cars are shown on your credit report which the collection agency has full access to, assessing your payment history on mortgages, credit cards, and installment loans helps determine how likely you are to pay. They did not really do anything wrong although they may have been rude about it. You owe them money they have the right to try and get it back, skip tracing software and credit reports are the best tools they have.

On December 14th 2009, approximatley 3:00pm i recieved a call a phone call on my home phone, that number is not listed (its private) and under my husbands name. A lady named "Kristine" (spelling ? ) I spent 20 min on the phone with her going over my account info and discussing what i can do & cant do at this current time. She offered me a "OPT-OUT" thing i listened carefully, said i would like to " cant make a promise right now (*had to ck my income in & debts going out 1st) offer had to be an electronic payment ( asked if i could mail when i knew i had the funds). I didnt think much about it at first, after a while she started to get frustrated about my lack of not able to pay anything right then. She asked for the reason for not paying, I explained my situation apparently wasnt good enough- she wanted more: Kristine went on rapidly asking the following questions :"How do you get your money? / Where does it go ? How do you spend it? Are you married?"
:I replied : I dont think thats any of your concern.
:Kristine: Yes, it is you owe blank amount of money payment past due. became rude a spitefull.
:Kristine went on saying: "You didnt have a problem taking the merchandise out of the store"
:I didnt know what to say, for a secound like i had committed a crime, I COULDNT BELEIEV IT I SAID "EXSCUSE ME"
:Kristine: You have two cars and a house, you can still pay for.
:I said " I want your manager, " I felt degraded & low, (my eyes teared up) I said in a lould shakey voice "How dare you", and asked "Is my conversation being recorded"? I asked her for her name for id puposes"
:Kristine: Yes, it is . "Kristine you dont need my last name. (no other id form)
Her Supervisor Mark Bontempi got on the line i was in the middle of detail on what happend when he cut me off so say " I see you manage two cars and a house payment." So i was upset yes, in the end he said nothing was done wrong. I asked how they got my home number he said it poped up on dialer system or got it somewhere. Later i called the company & asked to speek to a top person of management or president form. I got a man named Jeremy Heltke i told him what happend he did not see what the problem was, and didnt understand why i was calling nothing was done wrong he said.
I asked about the recording ( they did not say that normal line ever1 usually says, ) he was not interested oin listening to it, and said they do not keep them they rercord over them.
I wanna know how they got my home # if it wasnt against the law he would have made sure to tell me exactly how they got it like i asked for> And HOW & WHY THEY CAN ASK ABOUT MY HOME AND CARS! how is that even relevant to the speacific situation they called HOW DID THEY GET THAT INFO, Hope some1 replies to me ps: i know i am a bad speller
