I banked with these idiots for over 10 years and until the last year never had overdraft charges. I swear they have changed and NOW do the debits first and then will put in your deposit.
My direct deposit goes into my bank at midnight on the 23rd of every month. I wrote a check to a friend on the 22nd at another bank and it cleared first bank account within 8 hours? caused an overdraft because it went through before midnight on the 23rd?
That is impossible and if I had written a check to first bank for cash it would of NEVER cleared by midnight?
The idiots at the Walnut Creek, CA BRANCH couldn't handle my phone call to them telling them they f-uped and had the nerve to cancel my account. I have put in complaint to the Better Business Bureau and will pursue these little clerks that hopefully and most likely will be looking for a job soon because this bank is NOT going to last in the community and I will be sure of it!

When I was unhappy with Aloha Airlines when flying with them several years ago I told the employees to start looking for a job because Aloha will be bankrupt soon and out of business and guess what?

why do you feel you need to educate people? Why don't you go and take care of your 12 year old girl? People don't go on here to listen to your opinion about their comments! We don't need to be told that we are wrong for doing something because we know what we did and we don't need some lonely desperate woman to give us her opinion over and over! This site is to comment on businesses and we are not asking for your or anyone elses opinion? Get a life please and stop trying to be the voice or reason because you sound like an idiot! Do you not have anything better to do with your time? Go be a mom and teach your girl something! Don't try and tell me that you never (in tough times) wrote a check knowing that your direct deposit was going in at midnight and you thought that if you wrote a check to someone else from another bank that it wouldn't clear your bank in 8 hours? I wasn't trying to be dishonest and I wasn't writing a check dishonestly my point was that they are not doing business as they have in the past and that is because they are doing debits first and then doing the deposits in order to cause more overdrafts for their customers because they NEED to make an extra buck in these tough times! They never did this when I started my account over 10 years ago and especially when I had almost 200K in my account and owned several homes. They are cheating their customers and that is the point I am trying to get out! They are lying to their customers because they have changed their policy and in the past they had always done the deposits first no matter what and then did the debits unlike BofA and Wells Fargo and they told me that to my face!
So stop being so judgemental and putting people down just to try and prove yourself correct because NO ONE gives a crap about what you feel the need to say...your opinion exudes negativity, desperation to be right, insecurity, and loneliness to be heard? I hope in the future you spend more time with your children or child instead of being on this site all day or perhaps your the idiot clerk that makes $8 an hour at a bank? I don't know but you really need to get a LIFE! No ONE CARES about what you feel the need to say! You are not intelligent as you seem to think you're just another opinion and we all know what opinions are like!

I don't know anyone on here and perhaps they sent those messages because they already know how you attach everyone on here with your negativity! I never got a chance to read your messages to me but I'm assuming they're as ridiculous as your other messages. I did notice something about how I probably couldn't handle being a bank clerk or do that job? Come on, be serious please! The bottom line here is, you had no idea of the conversations that took place between myself and the clerks at the bank because I didn't mention that on my "comment" so you are extremely judgemental and angry at others for some strange reason? The other issue is, this is a place for comments on businesses and not for idiots like you that have no life to write your opinion down and you did NOT have the experience and have no idea what transpired! and for all you f n others that keep writing about how I wrote a check on the day my check was being deposited! what I was saying is, they always use to do the deposits first like the banks are suppose to do and now they are doing the debits first and then the deposits so that they can collect overdrafts fees. is they can consider it legitimate but they are doing this for that reason only and that is not what a good banking institution should be doing. I already f n know I shouldn't write a check prior to money being in there and if you banked with the same bank for over 10 years and this has never happened because you have direct deposit and if you wrote a check to your own bank for "cash" it would of never cleared this quickly!
don't give me that electronic ### on how with today's technology etc... f n look at the real picture and think about it and if it were you and how much money they had made on you in the past with the mounds of money you had put into their institution than perhaps you would realize how f'up it was!
Yes, they did cancel my account because I let the mother f'ers have it! It was worth it!
Also thank you to the Ellen67 haters out there! She actually sits at her kids soccer games and uses her iPad to do this crap? Her words! Like I said, spend some time with them and appreciate them instead of obsessing with your hatred towards other peoples postings! I am not the only one that has complained about First Bank on this site!
fired me as a customer? do you know how ridiculous that sounds? they are the only one losing $$$$ not me. I walked down to another bank and opened a new account...no big deal...!

yes you're correct I do have attitude and always have, sometimes it works and other times it doesn't work! did I actually say that I told them they were idiots or that they f'up? I don't believe so! That is what I said in my comment about how I felt about them and not what I said to them! get a f n clue!

Being a new poster, I picked up my que from all of you how I should act. I wonder how the sponsors will feel about the trouble makers on this website trying to scare off new posters. Possible consumers that may see their advertisements.
