Fingerhut fraudulent account

Someone used my identity to open a fingerhut account . I have disputed this account in all the ways possible i have submitted police reports 2 of them and still they wont do anything to remove it off my credit report . This has been going on for years . My credit is below average because of it . I am on the virge of being homeless because landlords wont even look at my credit score .

Fingerhut victim of identity fraud

My tax returns were stolen from my Mom's mail box and since then, I been bombarded with phone calls this people trying to open new accounts on my name. I reside in Sacramento and I don't get my mail, but my Mom does and by the time I got this statement with a balance, I called your Compay, tried to communicate with your Fraud Department but no luck, there is always a voice message that ask to leave a message but I never get a phone call back. This item is still in my credit and it has caused a huge impact on my credit fico score. Credit companies should be more careful on opening new accounts, anyone can open a new account and start ordering stuff under someone else's name. Please send me the address for the fraud department. I called customer service and they can't even find the proper address.

Fingerhut sleepsofa

I received a sleep sofa on february 3 ed 2017. Only two people have sat on it. Have not have not slept on it, but the set pillow is already bubbling on the side. This couch is a lot of money (800.00) just getting this product is a bad quality to have the name serta behind it! I'm going to see if serta knows this product is not good, I should have no complaints so fast, to early im so not happy at all! To much money for this product!

Fingerhut return policies / ripoff / terrible service

I want to start by saying that Fingerhut has got to have the worst return policy ever.
I placed an order for an HP computer desktop then when I saw the price I decided to return The computer . The box had a label return and a questionnaire as to why you're returning the item . I simply said the truth that it was too expensive. Upon received The item they charged me $25 because of the reason that I returned it because it was too expensive . Also 1495 for the shipping . I've never heard of such a thing in my whole life such a rip off I tried to get those charges taken off but they kept insisting that's our policy .
Also with one late payment that you made and ready send you to collections .
He probably called about a total of 10 times and sent them emails back to back with this complaints about their service and they're terrible customer service skills I record all conversations and also the live chats I copied and paste. My balance at the time was 130, I told the wrap his name was Elvis and he also gave me his employee number that I would make a payment of $75 on February 3 of 2017. I decided to do it automatic so I put in the four February 3 for the money to be withdrawn with my credit card . Well guess what today that I put my credit card information which was January 27 they went ahead and charge me to $75 and sent me a confirmation number and an email .
I called customer service and I read the email Word by word. I received an email with a receipt any confirmation saying thank you for the payment and he should be withdrawn from your bank but the next two business days . Was trying to explain it to the representative but she kept on telling me that no that was just a confirmation that the pain will be taken out on February 3 and I said no this is not what that says here let me read you what that says we kept talking over each other and I said listen this is a receipt OK and it says playing here in English that into days and amount will be withdrawn out of my bank . Kept insisting that no no no no no I basically told her do you understand English you hear me when I'm reading this to you and you still telling me that this is not a receipt then I said I need to speak to manager so she put me on hold and said her manager was busy and I said I will hold and 10 minutes later she hung up . I sent them like five emails back to back. I stated to them that that $74 were to be withdrawn out of my bank account it would be overdrawn and it would be a overdraft fee and they would be responsible for The overdraft fee .
Prior to that I had sent an email with the conversation I had with the gentleman and wrote word by word everything that we discussed how we were going to resolve this and hang out the balance. I asked the rep to give me his name and his employee number and that I was gonna write an email to him explaining word by word how we were going to work this out and needed to notate everything in the computer so that the next time I would call I wouldn't have a problem with the next breath . That email was plain and simple into the point how this payments were going to be handled and that was to the point . I sent the email to them like three times just to cover myself . Then the times that I recall they would say that they had not received any such email and I said well I have a confirmation that you received it so obviously you just not reading it so they are number one red flag . Also they can send me an email saying that they were going to send me to collections for one payment and I miss because my credit card was reported stolen so the payment didn't go through and I wanted to send to collections already I was like is this the way to your customers one payment not even hard dealership send someone to collection for one or two months of the consumer not paying the car and you guy also they can send me an email saying that they were going to send me to collections for one payment and I miss because my credit card was reported stolen so the payment didn't go through and I wanted to send to collections already I was like is this the way to your customers one payment not even hard dealership send someone to collection for one or two months of the consumer not paying the car and this Fingerhut store that overcharges everything is so damn greedy and disgusting that I can't even put up with them I just want to pay off my balance and just tear the book up and never deal with them again. You best believe that if that amount goes through and my account is overdraft I have all the chats copied and paste and also all the conversations recorded with emails and all the evidence that need it so I will take them to small claims court .
So basically at this point I really do not want to reach out to them at all or nothing at all but if that payment goes through then it's gonna be a big problem and I will reach out to them and tell them exactly how I feel whether they like it or not and I will contact the headquarters and send an email to the president .
And they still have the nerve to tell you that oh you know that if you receive emails you get deals I told him grab a no no thank you I don't want any emails from your operation at all my plan is to just finish up the balance and be done with you guys forever .

So the saga continues !
If you think they going to put one over me then they got another thing coming because they don't know me and first of all you don't treat customers like that you don't hang up on your customers I mean it's just a total mess disaster bad customer service just overall just the worst company that I've ever had to deal with I'm here reading the email to this lady that this was a confirmation of the payment and she keeps on tell me that no. I basically told her either you're stupid or your death because I'm tell me exactly how this reads out and just have a confirmation number and it says in two days they will take the money out of my bank and you still keep on telling me that no they going to take it out on 3 February do you realize how stupid you sound she stood quiet for minute and then she just put me on hold and then I said I need to speak to your manager and that was it .
Had to leave it alone because I don't want to drain my energy with this but believe you and me this is not the end of this I will sue them I will take them to small claims court The last thing I do . What a rip off charging you for returning an item so I told her rap I go so why do you guys have that return label and why do you get guys have these multiple choices are on the reason why you return it so basically you would never charge me and it would been broken of the fact of her I'm here being honest with you because it was too expensive and you're penalizing me for that is a make any sense at all is ago this is their policy . Basically said he could help me out and I said no basically you don't want to help because if you really did want to help me you would do it .

And I was a new customer.
And he has the gall to tell me that he was just about to send me to collections for one $20 payment that I missed because of my card being stolen that was the last straw I mean what kind of operation of the running for one late payment I will send to collections and mess up your credit
That's just plain disgusting and dishonest and just plain dirty
Well this is my story with Fingerhut so far but I have a feeling it's not over !
And they would not end until I get exactly what I deserve. Because like I told him I am I believe you messed with the wrong person this time because I know pool and I don't take anything from anybody. So I would not have Fingerhut have the last word .

I will be treated with respect and they must oblige to what they promised and what the email stated as far as how we were going to complete paying off the balance and not charge me behind my back .
I think I can go to the bank and to say that this was the charge that I did not approve and that will be the end of it .
Such a bad experience left me with a dirty taste in my mouth and is just plain wrong discussing I mean if that's how they treat a new customer imagine their own customers .
Reminder you don't give a damn so therefore I will give them a little piece of their own medicine and they will not like it .
This is my story and I'm sticking to it and the stories shall continue

I never opened an account with you guys . reason I know about all this because I checked my credit and it said I owe $182 when I never opened an account with you guys. So I would appreciate if y'all can investigate who's been using my identity.

I completely agree, Fingerhut the worse. They give credit to anyone and they don't care if is fraud, they wont correct it and they wont call back.

Fingerhut fraud

I contacted Fingerhut about a fraudulent application for credit and I got a police report I faxed it to you guys and I'm waiting for there's someone supposed to be sending me and that the application that was filled out in my name to help with the investigation I've received no application I was referred to another company that apparently is your browser and it says it's an unsecured site so I need the application that was sent to my email for someone to contact me

Fingerhut setup for autopay with min payment... screwed

I was setup for autopay with fingerhut since I began with them and then a year into it they started DOUBLE dipping into my checking account, instead of the min payment I had setup they doubled it. I immediately called them and they said 'oh it must have been a system error' yeah whatever - then they said I didn't owe them for a month and then they reported me delinquent on my account to the credit bureaus. I have worked hard and been very diligent with all my payments trying to rebuild credit. I had built back up to a 640 credit score. Then they reported me DUE TO THEIR ERROR to my bureaus and it tanked me 75 pts... I can no longer buy a home for my family due to Fingerhut. I have reported them to the CFPB and every blog I can find. I am a single mom, I can't afford an attorney. Please AVOID Fingerhut at all costs. In my personal opinion they are predators and will screw you. If you decide to go with them anyway, DO NOT SET UP AUTOPAY. They will steal from you and then ruin your credit. I have called, and called, and called. Everytime they admit it was their error and they will 'fix it' - nope. They will just ruin you.

Fingerhut fraudulent hard inquiry on my reports

Three days ago fingerhut placed a hard inquiry on all my reports. I know for a fact this was not me requesting this inquiry because I am getting ready to buy a home and have been working very hard to raise my credit scores.

I have not and would not allow any credit providers to run my credit, for any reason other than for a mortgage loan! Therefore I know for a fact this is fraud!

I don't even know what fingerhut is!

Fingerhut account

Hello I am writing this company to advise you that you opened an account fraudulantly and allowed the theif to charge this account up. I have justed recently pulled my credit report and seen that you guys are claiming a negative account under my information.

Note that I have not given anyone permission to open such account and that this account was open under fraud activity. Equifax Transunion and Experian know of this activity already and have froze my credit for this reason. Your company has been turned into the Federal Trades Commission as a fraudlent account.

If you would like I will send you the documentation I have filed with the FTC, My local police department and my attorney general.

I ask that you remove this account from my credit I did not apply for this did not recieve goods from this account and therefore am not responsible for this account.

I at this time request validation documents bearing my signature and or ID, if you cannot publish these records I ask that you remove this account immediately.

Fingerhut safeline plus

I never signed for safeline plus and have asked to have it removed when asked how much I have paid I was told $1181.45 and the only credit offered was $67.13...on NO that is not acceptable and will not work with me. Then I was told I can NOT call resolutions they will have to call me please I have never heard of such. So now i'm waiting on that call I can not believe this why are they doing this to people! I want my money back credit the account so I can be done with it! Thanks for listening..

Fingerhut alcove sliding shelf media cabinet

I ordered a bookshelf from fingerhut nearly two months ago. Since then I've had over six calls and or emails to customer service as I only received 1/2 of the boxes that contained the necessary pieces for me to assemble the shelf I bought. I was told by the first three representatives that they would make arrangements for me to either be sent a box(as the original box was destroyed in shipping and is not of average size) or be able to send the item back without a box. The last time I spoke to a representative I was told that they would not be sending a box nor would they be accepting the item back loose nor would they be sending the other half of the item. I was forwared to a customer service manager's voicemail and told that I would be given a call back within one business day. It has now been over a week(5 business days) and I still have not been given any sort of suitable resolution. I was told that I could get 10% off the item as a resolution and that was the best they could do for me. It's not right that I'm expected to pay for an item that is not usable and never has been because of a shipping error on their part. I have half a bookshelf and have for about two months now and continue to get the run around.

Fingerhut shipping

I've ordered something from this website which cost me about $100. Not that expensive. But when I saw the shipping fee I was shocked and immediately contacted customer service and asked them to cancel my order as soon as possible. They said that was impossible because my order was already shipped. They also tried to assure me it was not their fault shipping cost that much.
I paid $100 for my entire order and was charged $50 for the shipping! Are you kidding? That is pure robbery! I will never order anything from Fingerhut, their shipping costs are crazy. I'm not ready to pay that much for the delivery.

Fingerhut Credit fraud, fraud department malpractice.

I received an unauthorized package from fingerhut to where I called to report as a fraudulent transaction. I explained I had never done business with them in the past. My identity has been compromised in the past to where I have an alert setup with all major credit agencies yet they approved this criminal transaction? I vehemently uttered why didn't you call my number or send an email to verify the credit attempt! Now I have to supply an affidavit to prove my innocence! And report this to the credit agencies! Shame on you fingerhut for purposefully having a lax credit system!

I have had problems with fingerhut constantly over the last four years. I had paid my account in full with 0 balance. 4 months later my account was reopened, according to their records i changed my email address by one number and changed my address to a town in CA. I am an Illinois resident and have been my whole life. So going through states attorney and attorney general and 4 years of taped conversations, their solution was to credit my account for the charges of the items. After 4 years of interest on price shipping and tax, they are currently stating I owe them 800 dollars. I have the statement before all this happened showing 0 balance with no other purchases except the fraudulent one. I have my credit report showing they closed my account with 0 balance. After four years and obvious fraud and 1 month of constant calls I have heard it all. ne day i spent two hours on phone with them and each time they would say another department needed to assist me i went through fraud billing and customer service. In one phone call i was transferred to each department at least three times with no assistance given. I talked to a supervisor today who said the only reason they creditied at all was because we filed complaint with BBB. Then he proceeded to hang up on me. My fiance does podcasts and was frustrated and asked the supervisor if he would like to have this discussion on his podcast. The supervisor responded by he doesn't react to threats. How is airing a customer service call on a podcast a threat if you arent doing anything wrong. Its free advertisement for a company that is proud of its customer service and policies. Its only a threat if you know what you are doing is disreputable. So the supervisor said everything I ever need to know about this company. As soon as my fiance sets up podcast and uploads all the recordings of our dealings with fingerhut, we will be doing a live call with all info we ever obtained will be there. So in front of 100 thousand unique streamers we will expose this live. we will post link when date is set. We encourage all who are current customers or previous customers that encountered this problem to join in and upload any documents you have of their bad business practices.For information purposes we will be contacting each of the members on bluestem brands board of directors during this podcast. If we can't get a positive exchange we will post their numbers online for the customers to contact them directly.

Fingerhut defective products

Finger Hut sold me a Black comforter at online shopping, the comforter was defective, had 1000 pin holes in it and the stuffing was coming out. They exchanged it for a Grey one and with-in a few months this grey comforter was also defective, cheap, again many, many holes in it, stuffing coming out. I complained again, Finger Hut refused to take this 2nd. comforter back because this was the 2nd. complaint. I had an on-going acct. I paid on time, never late and had a balance of $80.oo left after paying $110. for this cheap piece of crap comforter, I closed my acct. then I see finger Hut lied and put a $144. UN-paid amount on my credit report. I am so up-set Finger Hut can lie to credit agency's and put this right out lie to hurt my credit, I do not owe them $144. and refuse to pay my balance of $80. for a piece of crap comforter. they refuse to except was defective.

Fingerhut very rude and unprofessional customer service

Fingerhut stuff is very rude and unprofessional, I guess they don't even know the meaning of the word "manners"! I paid for express shipping and it was pretty expensive, but delivery was very late and for weeks I had no idea what was happening with my order. So I contacted Fingerhut customer service and asked them for some information regarding the status of my order, but they refused to tell anything! Then I asked the reason, because I paid for my order and had all the rights to obtain all the necessary information. Then, they asked me to stop wasting their time! What? I told them that I will not stop until I get some info and since then I heard nothing from them! Terrible!

Fingerhut they automatically signed me up for their membership!

I decided to try www.fingerhut.com and purchased several items from them. They also offered me to sign up and to become a member, but I refused and said that I just wanted to order something and not interested in any memberships. So I received my items and was very happy. Quality was great and my order arrived in reasonable time. One month later I received a message stating I have to pay my monthly fee. I immediately contacted customer service and they told that I was signed up and need to pay for the membership! That was done automatically! I never wanted to sign up and now I owe them money for who knows what! It is not fair!Stay away from fingerhut!

1z555w780360153307 17 and 18 march 2016 never had any problem with ups. Could set a clock by them. About a month or more ago, the delivery person said I was not there to sign for delivery of medicine. I was both of 3 times. I called and ups was nasty, not helpful and said I would have drive 40 miles to pick it up. Finally the third time, he showed up.

Now I moved to a new place and ordered box spring rails. The delivery man said I was not home. I was, I had spoken with ups customer service the morning of the 17th to make sure the address was correct. I broke down the beds and waited. I waited outside the from about 2:15-4:00. And waited. Then checked my messages and it said I was not home. I called customer service and they said they would have a truck bring it last night. I slept on th floor. Two misses. Today I waited all day and then the messages said I was not here. I called customer service and they said they were sending it tonight. 7:53pm. I called back to get a time, and they said I would be called back. No one has called back, no new status and I doubt they are even coming. The driver is a liar and customer service is not much better. No when am I going to get my package so I do not have to sleep on th floor?

Fingerhut very poor customer service and company!

Worst experience I've ever had! Fingerhut reps don't speak or understand English. It is impossible to explain them anything. Back in November I bought a chair and received it three weeks ago. They completely sent the wrong chair, so I had to return it back. I also paid form my pocket to ship it back. It's now February still nothing! The only thing I've received is countless lies and promises. I'm so tired of it. I demanded a refund but they refused to give my money back. They claim they've never received the chair back. Thanks for nothing, I would not recommend them to anyone!

Fingerhut billing

At last minute, I bought a $24 item and a $170 item for Christmas. My monthly payment was supposedly $17.99. I returned the higher priced item. My first bill said the due date is the following week and that they charged me $25 late fee and interest. My balance is $77. They won't tell me why.
So it took three weeks to get my first bill. They charged me late fees and interest before any payments were due, let alone late. They can't do basic third grade math. They won't acknowledge my emails to Customer Service about this.

Fingerhut customer service

12/1/15 I requested my address to be corrected three times, and still it was wrong. And my coupon codes were not credited. Since Fingerhut would not correct these multiple problems, I requested to cancel the order, via phone, chat and email. I tried to cancel the order more than five times, I've lost track I've tried so many times. Each time they would not cancel the order. I requested to be referred to a manager, but they refused. I have never heard of such unprofessional behavior and incompetence. Never again will I order from Fingerhut. The Fingerhut credit card company Webbank refused to help as well, and would not refer me to a customer service manager, refusing to give their agent name. I consider that extremely uncooperative and cagey. I would expect that from scam artists. As I look further, all items at Fingerhut are extremely overpriced, perhaps it is a scam after all? I recommend to beware, as I will stay away from Fingerhut.
