Fine Line Auto Body is a body shop, and we are here to work with and for people. We work with many different insurance companies, but Erie is one of the most unprofessional. People who work for Erie are very rude, they do not return phone calls. It is almost as they do not care anybody. Erie creates their own rules and expects everybody to follow them. In the last situation it took them 14 days to accept the liability for the insured person, in spite of the fact that he accepted those liabilities from the first moment and admitted that it was his fault in the accident. The whole repair process would take one day, but it took the 14 days to accept the liabilities. Because the damage was to passenger side mirror my store put the person in a rental car, because it was unsafe to drive. During all that time (14 days) the shop has been calling Erie every day, twice a day just to faster the process, but it was unsuccessful, because our phone calls were unreturned or we would get an answer "We don't know yet, it is under investigation". The same situation was with the claiment. So, after 14 days of investigation, Erie finally accepted partial liabilities, and, of course, they are refusing to pay for rental time, because they don't consider unsafe to drive without right side mirror. The Ohio law states: "Operators of vehicles, motorcycles, streetcars, and trackless trolleys shall have a clear and unobstructed view to the front and to both sides of their vehicles, motorcycles, streetcars, or trackless trolleys and shall have a clear view to the rear of their vehicles, motorcycles, streetcars, or trackless trolleys by mirror." Even the supervisor has the same opinion and thinks it is save to drive without mirror. This is just one of many situations when Erie showed unprofessional behavior towards all drivers. Instead of promoting safe practice of driving Erie leans towards unsafe encourages unsafe driving

Claims representative Lexie Kroeger refuses to pay for repair that was made on this claim. The initial estimate was for 1985.83 and check for that was sent to a customer Shaine Harrison. While repairing the car additional damages were found and submitted in a total of $3308.85. The supplement was approved and we made that additional repair. Lexie Kroeger issued a check in difference between additional charges and initial estimates in the amount of $1323.32. Our repair was based on a total amount of $5294.38 and we are asking to get paid the full amount. Estimates and supplement were made by the store and approved by Hyperquest, and Hyperquest admitted that there was a mistake in payment and body shop is owed $1985.83. I'm asking you to resolve this issue in a timely manner, because we cannot release the car to a customer until we get paid in full. If nothing will be done to resolve this issue the next step will be Ohio DOI

My 2007 Lexus ES300 was severely damaged in the ice storm this past december. The insurance company had us take the car to Fine Lines Auto Body for the estimate and repiar. I thought for sure it would be totaled due to the extensive damage. My husband and I even went to dealerships so I could pick out my NEW LEXUS! . The estimate on the car was not enough total it but my husband said that there would be no way we would keep the car after it was repaired with that much damage. When we got the car back, to my dismay, the car looked perfect! WE even took it to the local Lexus dealership and the technitians said it was the best repair they have seen. One tech @ the dealership even said he knows that he will take his car to Fine Lines if anything ever happened after seeing the repair to my car. Because Fine Lines did such a good job, my husband decided that we are keeping our car. I guess I dont get my new lexus now :(
