I have a complaint against a company named "Find Asia Limited", I saw their advertisement on a website www.gaijinpot.com and sent my CV and basic details to their e-mail on 21/08/2016. They scheduled a Skype interview and after that they confirmed that I am getting admission in Aoyama International Language School, Tokyo. They were offering to cover 75% of the total fee which I have to return in 12 equal fixed installments after getting visa and reaching Japan, remaining 25% of the fee has to be paid by me before visa processing. Program was called as CSSPJ and initial program fee was 30, 000/- YEN. I have got proof of the payment and it was made domestically by my wife on 28/08/2016, who is now in Pakistan but she has Japanese permanent resident.

After that they wanted my original documents which I sent through registered mail and everything went smoothly and with a lot of correspondence and e-mail exchange. In december 2016 they said that they have got my Certificate of Eligibility and Admission letter so I need these documents to apply for visa and now I have to pay the remaining fee. I got an invoice of 310, 000/- YEN which was paid on 9/12/2016 domestically by my wife. They gave documents to her and she came back to Pakistan with them. I applied for visa at Consulate General of Japan, Karachi on 20/12/2016. Unfortunately my visa was refused on 8/02/2017, on the same day I told Find Asia and they acknowledged it and said they will inquire about my refusal and also ask school and other companies to refund the fee.

This is when they started replying slowly to e-mails and keep telling me that it is hard to get refund and they are meeting with immigration officials on my case. I kept e-mailing them weekly about updates and to return my documents. Finally after a month Find Asia replied me saying that they are waiting for the partner companies to get refund but housing company won't be refunding my money and I should contact supervisor from now on, supervisor never has contacted me or replied to my e-mail since 19/4/2017. After this reply I e-mailed Aoyama International Language School to refund my fee and they clearly said that they have taken no fee from Find Asia on my name, I asked about my documents and they confirmed that they had it and they sent it back to me urgently saying that Find Asia never asked them to send me my documents. I also found out that supervisor is actually the CEO of Find Asia Limited and even he is not replying me at all since a month.

Here I would like to add that I have all the agreements and e-mails that proves that they have to refund me money if my visa becomes unsuccessful, even without housing they have my 245, 000/- YEN. Now they have stopped replying my e-mails whatsoever. I have agreements, fee invoices, fee slips, e-mails and all the other supporting documents with me if required. It has been 3 months and 4 days that I have told them about refusal and asked them to refund my fee but I have not got it yet or any positive reply. They think I am residing overseas and I won't be able to do anything at all. In Japan the fee amount maybe very less but in Pakistan it is my savings of 2 years. Kindly look into this matter, I have a lot of hopes from your end.

I am also a participant from CSSPJ, I was part of the second batch of people coming in Oct 2015, I'm not going to lie whatever is happening in CSSPJ is nuts, I have read the comments and somehow is very different from what I experienced, before coming I was interviewed by 3 Japanese people from the company that was working with them to provide jobs, it was called Leoc, I got chosen among hundreds of applicants in Manila, the CEO Huang was also there, and everything seemed fine, then 3 people from manila got chosen and we arrived, we were placed in a house a bit far from the station, but they provided us with bikes, lockers and everything we needed, even if I asked. Transportation at that time was paid by Find Asia so I didn't have to pay it, and I was working in the kitchen from a care center for the elderly. It was a great program, it was very hard though I was working and studying from Monday to Sunday with no holidays, and little time to rest, they even helped me to find a second job to be able to get more income, in general the experience was great, I loved Working with the people in the kitchen, and school was great. Although I was super tired I was enjoying it.
After 6 months I got a job in a foreign company in Japan that sponsored me a Working visa with a good salary, and find asia was super supportive with that, I was very on time with my rent and never had any problems, now after almost 3 years im still i. Japan. I am very sorry to hear the bad experiences from the other people, it seems that somehow the situation is out of their hands, I know for fact that from the 8 people I was sharing house with 4 managed to stay in Japan. And although not everything was super happy for all it was manageable.
I dont know what happened to them, and what they are doing now, but when they started they did help me a lot.

like 'mrboy', I was also under the program last 2016. I quit after 6 months because they didn't gave me a Part time job until my fifth month. They told me I was not yet conversational enough so it was hard for them to introduce me to a job. I was like "[censor]. You interviewed me in while I was still in my home country and asked for my Japanese level proficiency. You should already have an idea what kind of job you should introduce me to before I came to Japan." My monthly debts piled up and even if I maximize the 28 hours limit, i will not be able to pay it so I left.

The 100, 000 yen deposit fee I paid before I went to Japan, I was able to use it to lessen my debts.
I'm happy I left. I'm now working in my home country and the pay is really good. I can also study Japanese better than I was there. I feel like we were just used by the company.

There are lots of flaws in the CSSPJ program. So I will never recommend it.

i was in this program several months ago, and i left. i'm currently working in a Japanese company in Japan right now, with a proper working visa. Trust me they are scams, and they keep emailing me asking for money every month. Hell nah, first of all i quitted, and definitely i'm not gonna give my money to scams. lol

I sincerely thank you all for this!
and for those who were scammed, i deeply hope that this company will finally be taken to court and you get justice.

Hi,
they think that they are very smart to change the name of the program and that's it.
I fount that they have made some changes in their site, and change their CEO name and substituted it with another employee, and made a new site iipsjapan.com
they have change the name of their program from CSSPJ to JESP to IIPSJ, and still making ads on Gaijinpot.com
All are FAKE and SCAMS.
and it seems they have red what we are writing here, and asked their new victims to avoid reading us.

Good eve, so what is your plan to this program? Because I'm also a victim here. They said they will give us 1 assurance part time after our arrival and until now it's already 2months and half but we still don't have work and they want us to pay them every month for 83438yen.

Good eve,
we are trying to gather ourselves to make a group lawsuit against Find Asia the people I have contacted till now haven't been granted the visa in their counties. May be because the Japanese authorities have information that something wrong with this company,
but why the Japanese ministry of Justice gave us a document as if everything is Ok?
according to the rules set by Find Asia in the "CSSPJ", they had to provide work first, otherwise they will not ask for the installment .
It seems that Find Asia think that there is no law or the students not able to make a network and contact the Japanese authorities, or that people from overseas can't make a lawsuit.

My name is Ahmed from Egypt
I am also was supposed to enter Japan on January 2017, the same happened to my exactly ... but I have paid through bank transfer.
On 2017-03-04 they offered me to reapply for me to enter Japan in October 2017, and I refused.
and since that date they haven't replied.
Now is it possible to issue a lawsuit against this company?

Be warned if for some reason the Japanese government doesn't give a visa, as with us (New Zealand) csspj Find Asia limited will not refund your money, you must then try and get your bank or Paypal to get it back for you, do not believe what find Asia limited csspj say, ( I call this a scam )

Find Asia csspj say that they Guarantee a job placement that will more then pay for all your accommodation and their schooling costs etc This does not always happen you are then left with having to pay for all these costs yourself if you can not afford it, they themselves say that you will be sent home,

Dear Mr. Coop,

Thank you for your contact. The claim is correct. We are facing some issues with students not paying their

debt in Japan. Though that has nothing to do with your case.

I have forwarded your contact to my sponsor. Mr. Yu. You will hear back from him soon.

Thank you very much for your patience. We hope you can get the fund back soon.
