I recieved a cashier's check for 985.18. Letter said I won a North America Consumer Promotion Draw. Check internet for verifcation and found the exact same thing others had recieved. Agent name is

I am turning my check and letter over to the DA's office
I hope know one falls for this scam. It's a shame that people can try to ruin others lives. I hope they care caught and recieve the harshest punishment possible.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
On 03-11-2011, I recieved a letter and a check for $990.00 stating that I won $9, 968.00. I called the so call claims agent Nicole Williams. She told me to deposit the check into my account and call her tomorrow to recieve further IRS information. The one thing that popped up a red flag was that I could not understand her and the other thing was that all she wanted me to deposit the check with really no explainations at all. please be careful if you recieve junk like this don't follow through with this they could get all of your bank information and clean out your account. I am turning all of this information over to the Michigan FBI.
Luckily my mom's mailing address is mine and I just received the same kind of letter.
$3920.00 check made out to her all she has to do is pay the taxes, $2, 900.00, on the $39, 850.00 prize amount. The letter, the check everything raised red flags for us but I can see where someone could get taken advantage of quickly on this.
