Just I bought a movie leather jacket from this fake leather jacket website for my husband, but Its worst quality, poor packing, absolutely bad services. I sad that I lost my money and time. I advise you that never buy any product from this corrupt and fraudulent website www.filmjackets.com

Never again would I deal with this company! Product is not as advertised. I would have been embarrassed to wear what they sent! Returned it immediately for refund of which they said they'd accept but then withheld a portion and did not refund full amount. I had to pay for return shipping AND did'nt get the full amount back.
Then I got a bill from FedEx for duty and taxes when they had said they would cover the cost. Nothing but a run around from these guys! They said they'd pay the FedEx bill but never did! Told me to pay it and they'd reimburse me, WHICH THEY NEVER DID!
100% scammers!

FJackets has the best leather jackets and customer service. period. Probably the best customer service I've experienced in many years of online shopping! Mary Hamlet, in particular, was very professional and courteous. I ordered a motorcycle leather jacket from them and the product I received was just as advertised and perfect for me.
FJackets was the best place I could find a leather jacket from. I was a bit skeptical when ordering online from a firm I haven’t heard of before… not usually something I do. But, I did and was not disappointed at all. Jacket arrived about a week after order and it’s just as good (if not better) than expected. Yes, it’s come from abroad but then doesn’t most things we order? Just so long as it arrives and is as advertised, which it is.
The only downside is the smell. It’s a bit chemically but I’m sure that’ll go over time.
The jacket is very well made (I’m fussy) and I can see it’s going to last me a very long time and only get better with age.
Would definitely order through them again and already wondering what I should buy next!
I recently bought a black bomber jacket from Film Jackets (FJackets.com) which is a legit store as per my experience. Good quality, packed well but need to return because too small. They want me to return it to Pakistan. Sound sketchy? AND...who pays for this?
Scammers! I ordered from California and delivery was late! Finally arrived from Pakistan as well and the jacket was nothing like what was advertised! Had to pay to return it for a refund, and on top of shipping I didn't get a full reimbursement AND then got billed for duty and taxes from FedEx

I just want to say a few words to Rick. Reading through your answers here and on other places online you look like a great guy. That is why that I feel terrible about your business, which is being run down into the ground. I was also looking at an order from fjackets.com and decided to google them before placing it, only to find out they are criminals and [censored]bags. I don't know if they deliberately copied the name of your business or if it was just a coincidence because they were looking for easy thought association, but your website is taking the brunt of people's anger for their faulty products/bad service. I am truly impressed by your overall demeanor and the way you carry yourself while they are slapping you in the face. This is a testament to your strong spirit, which gives you the wings to rise above such pettiness. So to sum up, I think you are great. Hang tough, because for every 10 people who curse your name in ignorance and confusion, there is probably one like me, who sees you for who you are.
But do hurry with your pending orders, there are some pissed off people on your forums mate :D

Can Rick please comment on the last two posts? I have been considering purchasing a jacket from fill jackets.com, but the lack of response from Rick makes me hesitant. Rick, you seem like an honest stand up guy, and if you are, you should have no problem admitting when your business has fallen short of a customer's expectations. It wouldn't be harmful to your reputation (to me anyway), but in fact would bolster it. I think it looks great for a business when they own up to a problem and do whatever it takes to fix it. There is no shame in that. Please respond to these posts so I (and everyone else) can see what a great person and business owner you are (and from everything I've read, you really are).

I would like to start by stating that FILMJACKETS.COM has not taken jacket orders for nearly two years. I have been away from the site for personal issues. For that reason alone, these complaints are not valid. I would have addressed these allegations earlier, but I was not aware that there were more bogus complaints against our company from innocent folks who were caught in the fjackets.com web of deceit.
The main focus of the FILMJACKETS.COM site is a discussion board where we identify and discuss jackets worn in films and on television shows. We have a few interviews from industry professionals and the focus of the site is to provide an avenue that promotes discussion amongst the FILMJACKETS.COM community. The member base for the discussion board is very friendly and knowledgeable and they are the real force behind the site.
What you read about me may or may not be accurate, but to reiterate, it is not my business that everyone is complaining about here on this site - it is Fjackets.com.
If you see a site called FILMJACKETS that sells anything using actors names, film names, screen shots, publicity images or anything similar, PLEASE check the URL of the site, because you will find that you have been redirected and you are no longer on the filmjackets.com domain. We have NEVER used this information to sell products when the store was active. Our store showed only our own products, using our own model names, stock numbers and item descriptions.
I purchased the Sherlock coat from Film Jackets, and let me just say, it is by far the WORST coat I have ever purchased. Not only was it not what they advertised, it barely passed as a coat. I even attempted to leave feedback on the coat on their site disagreeing with the quality and one of the other reviews that said it was perfect for the blizzard conditions of Chicago... I live in Kansas. It barely passes the "almost spring" weather here. And as far as being a replica of the Sherlock coat... well, I purchased the $1500 ACTUAL replica from the company that makes copies of the Belstaff for the show now that Belstaff no longer makes it, and let me just give you a side-by-side comparison in the attached pic: left is what they advertised, right is what they sent. And as further proof that this IS their product, I have the email they sent when sending me the jacket. as well. The order number is: [protected]
The fabric is nothing remotely resembling wool, like the site claims. The design is "similar", but lacks every signature detail of the Belstaff. Unless you count the slapdash attempt at red threading around the buttonholes which is too dark to even notice. The fit is awful despite following their sizing chart - I swear, it's like wearing a circus tent. I actually fit a friend in the coat with me, and we fit in it quite comfortably together. I had to sew the back to stop it from doing this horrible balloon thing that made me look ENORMOUS when, actually, I am not. The quilting in it is thinner than a walmart jacket you could get for $15... honestly, I have nothing good to say about this coat. Which is probably why they refused to post my review on it on their actual site. Shady, untrustworthy scam-artists.

Everyone reading these complaints should realize that if you Google a jacket or coat and it brings you to a website advertising the jacket using actors names, film names, screen shots, publicity images, etc - they are using the intellectual property of others for profit and this is ILLEGAL. I purchased a James Bond style suit for my husband. I ordered from Filmjacket.com only because I trusted PayPal and thought if PayPal did business with them, I was safe.
The suit came, and it resembled something a skinny orangutan could wear. Conspicuously long arms, and very narrow cut jacket, despite the fact I had sent meticulous measurements. I even took the jacket to Macy's and took pictures of it up against the correct sized jacket (at their request) They tried every angle to weasel out my returning the jacket. their solution was for them to give me a 50% refund, then 60% fund, and for me to take the jacket to a tailor.
After I filed a complaint with PayPal, they sent me an address to return the jacket. I returned it and when it reached their destination, they refused to accept the package saying "there was noone authorized to accept it." It now sits in Layfette GA at the post office. I am still waiting for PayPal to finish their investigation. There is nothing about this company that isn't shady. In fact, I received a notice from them, prior to suit arriving that the customs slip would have a lesser amount 60 in value than I paid $199 so that the item "would clear customs quicker." The items they sell are probably made my slave labor in sweat shops. Maybe I should report them to the FBI! Yes, I believe I will!

I managed to clear up the problem regarding the Captain Cold jacket. I got scammed by a shady company that goes by FJackets... not to be confused with Film Jackets, a reputable company in New Hampshire. The scammers have a fairly decent website using the name of the real company in order to throw off the buyer. They have 3 or 4 similar websites under different names doing the same kind of harm. They use images of actors in order to push their goods. Everything is fake and fraudulent. All the links and business addresses are fictitious. Do your research before you commit to a purchase. I gave these thieves my credit card information and they had it for over a month while I waited for a resolution they never intended to fix.

I ordered a Captain Cold jacket on 11-22-15. The wrong color was sent from Pakistan one month later. Now into the second month I am still waiting on instructions to send the wrong product back for the correct one that I paid $209 dollars for. I urge customer to go use Pay-Pal for the special protection they offer. Also, contact your credit card company to see what help they can provide. And, of course, file a complaint with the BBB... and stick to the facts. The person interacting with me at the Film Jacket Sales Department has been quite nice in her email responses. The burden of the exchange has been placed on the Film Jacket Production Manager. I was asked for a picture; I sent it. I placed the correct order and the wrong product was sent. How difficult is this to fix? I am not a ringer from a rival company; I'm a guy who lives in Florida who purchased a cosplay jacket. I promise to return to this website and post the result of my interaction with Film Jackets.
If you guys back up your product so well...how come you don't post pictures of your actual products online. Instead you post pictures of the actors and actresses from the films. That to me says that you are afraid that your product doesn't compare to the actual costume. Also I would never trust a site that pops up on my Facebook timeline.
This topic started from a fraudulent complaint against FILMJACKETS.COM and most of the responses that I am seeing here are about FJACKETS, including this one. You are posting a complaint against my company (FILMJACKETS.COM) based on a purchase you made from another company (FJACKETS.COM) that has stolen our name to intentionally deceive customers.
