When I received the email from FILM-CLASSIC I googled their email address and found LOTS of consumer complaints.
I tried to cancel my order with no response from either company. I'll work with my credit card company to straighten this out. But beware. CHANGE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER when you talk to your credit card company!

I also ordered two DVDs from this company and received the same emails confirming the order. On the same day that I received my credit card statement with these charges, I also received the DVDs. Or, rather, I received two empty DVD cases. Immediately went to their website to alert them to the "error" and found that the "confirmation number" they had provided to me kept coming up as "no record of this transaction". Also, checked their "policy" page only to find that it only contains a threat to any customer/sucker attempting a charge-back on their credit card.

Of course, I immediately called my credit card company and disputed the charge (despite the threat of Nocturnal Pictures/Classic Films to ruin my credit rating if I did so) and then cancelled my account.

I advise anyone doing business online to first check out the company who is asking for your credit card information. Wish I had taken the time to look up these compaints on this particular business before I gave them my information.
