I ordered the Free Trial Kit and paid only the shipping charges in which they needed my debit card info. I supplied that info ONLY to cover the shipping charges. I read in the small print that I had 14 days to let them know if I wanted the Starter Kit for $99.67. I sent an e-mail to their website since it was posted on the box within the 14 day trial period and said that I was not happy with the product so please do not send me the Starter Kit or any further shipments. The following week, my account was charged $99.67 so I sent another e-mail stating the same request over and that I needed a refund! Received another "canned" e-mail with my original e-mail attached to it, therefore, I know they received it. Nowhere in the e-mail or the packaging did it say I must call them to cancel. NOW I have been charged $69.62 for replacement cartridges that I have yet to receive. Finally called them from a number on the box and bottomline, they refuse to refund the $99.67 since my 14 day trial period has expired (even though they received my e-mail request) and they will only refund $40.00 of the $69.62 since I have not notified them to cancel. I had a long, stressful conversation with a manager at Lux-E and she said that they do NOT cancel through e-mail (although that is not stated anywhere on their ad, packaging, or return e-mail) and I will not be able to get a refund (ever!) for the $99.67. She went on to say that if I post an RMA # on the cartridge box (when I receive), I may get the $69.62 refunded to me. So far, have not seen the cartridge shipment and probably never will. Is there any recourse to getting my money back and more importantly, how do we stop companies like this!

I finally got the $69.62 refunded back to my debit card, however, I am screwed for the $99.67! How can we get this company reported to the Better Business Bureau and be able to make claims against them? My financial institution was no help when I filed a fraud claim with them for use of my debit card for a purchase not authorized. If the bank can't help and the BBB can't help...who can?

I would try to help you, however, I was not successful in getting the @99.67 refunded (even with my banks help)! I did get the smaller charge refunded. E-Cig said I never let them know within the 14 day trial period that I wanted to cancel...which was totally bogus since I replied to them via e-mail several times. Then they told me they don't cancel based on an e-mail, although that is not stated anywhere. I finally figured that I have the trial kit and paid a whopping 99 bucks for it...chalk it up to live and learn!

ok now I am in the process of trying too get a refund. I did not ask for the trial kit. The charge was made to my bank before the product was even delivered and I call my bank telling them I did not recognize the charge and the bank refunded my money. About a wk after that the ecig trio trial came in the mail and sure enough they evidently sent the charge to my bank again and got the 99.67 so I will be calling them tomorrow. These people have got to be stopped.

I also ordered the trial kit - charged me for shipping only - received my kit. 2 weeks later, some guy calls wanting to send me free gas coupons- says I ordered the e-cig from their company - no charge for the coupons- so I finally agreed. That same day, 2 separate charges ($39.99 from Virginia and $99.67 from Miami Beach, Florida) appear on my debit card. My bank got me a refund for the 39.99 charge, as the company had no record of my name or debit card # on file, but since I had a previous "contract" with the Smoke E Cigs company, I have to try to get my refund myself. My bank said if I can prove the contract had ended, and I can't get a refund from the company, they may try to help me get my money back. All you others who were ripped off may be able to help me-Thanks for your posts!
