Fidelity Investments customer service, portfolio management

Fidelity tired of my complaining about errors and invisibility of portfolio managers as well as invisibility of account rep. The only time I recd a call was when I initiated it! An instance - staff made an error in my retirement disbursement which affected my tax bracket and increased taxes. They reluctantly reimbursed me $1000. To cover increased taxes - I discovered this mistake purely by accident; what if I had not! My recent criticism was too much, fidelity froze three accounts and advised that I take my business elsewhere. They fired me!

Fidelity Investments cash management accounts

Randomly, my husband and I try to log in to our online portals and suddenly the accounts are locked. We call, they claim they needs a copy of our drivers license and utility bill. I explain that our rent includes all Bill's paid and they tell me that doesnt qualify to unlock the account. My Drivers license hasn't expired as it is good for 50 years. Now, here we are with over 50k unaccessable money that I can't use. No phone calls, no answers to why. I faxed in our info and it may take up to 3 weeks to verify!

Fidelity Investments 401k loan repayment misapplied payments by fidelity

I have multiple loans against my 401K (long story). Fidelity investments misapplied payments that were mailed from my bank to the wrong loan causing the loan that the payments that should have gone into to go into a default condition and creating a taxable distribution for my 2017 taxes (to the tune of $6K+). When I showed them that I had provided them the checks, that they cashed them and applied them to the wrong loan, they refused to admit / correct their mistake. Now, I'm stuck with a huge tax bill because of an administrative error with Fidelity Investments. When I call them, they just tell me that they can't do anything because "Fidelity Compliance" won't let them. Talk about the run around ... everyone should be wary of the business practices of Fidelity!

Fidelity Investments breach of privacy

I have recently had to close my deceased mothers IRA. During this process your company mailed highly sensitive material to someone other than myself. My name and social security number to be exact. This is a breach of privacy, confidentiality and security. At this time I have not obtained a lawyer nor filed public record with the courts. I am giving you the opportunity to settle this matter first hand before public fallout and detriment to your company. Gregory Reitz

Fidelity Investments account

Hello my name is Shaniki Smith, I'am file a complaint. I believe you some kind of computer error glitch. Also I notice when clients close there accounts with your banks, it seem to take long periods of time to closes. Almost 30 days. Please suppervise your employees. I know the owner should watch close to who he hires to his company. It's said when your employees that you hire will be reason why you closed down. Please straight up my account. There was a -10 dollars on my account and it suppose to be 22.00 in there to have account. I have not had no problems with your bank. I believe someone trying to move away from your bank because someone has been calling my bank trying to get information. And the only reason they can't check anything with your bank because they have my voice to activate it. Thank you! Shaniki Smith, [protected]

Fidelity Investments unethical dishonest business practices / poor service / miserable to deal with

Fidelity - horrible service, fraud, incompetence, and unethical business practices

Fidelity used to be great for over 30 years with them, now I hate them so much that I am transferring all my accounts to a reputable outfit that cares about customers - Charles Schwab.

Fidelity is so nasty dealing with their many, many problems, are dishonest and even lie regarding the extreme Web page unreliability. heir web page functions are always breaking down, and turmoil from bad changes on weekly basis. Really poor quality operation.

When you complain, hours and hours on phone with clerks who have no authority, are very unhelpful, and even lie and tell you no one else is having problems. t is sickening to do business with Fidelity. They make me sick, and I am taking my business elsewhere.

Everyone I talk to and read about on blogs seems to have same problems with Fidelity and also hate dealing with them, and find them very unhelpful.

Its so shocking that they just don't care about customers anymore, and have become so dishonest and unethical

Fidelity investments - dishonest, retaliation against customers

Fidelity used to be the best and have been with them for over 35 years. Now I hate them and their lousy service so much, they make me sick. For some reason recently since 2016 they have become so dishonest, lie to customers, and very unhelpful when you have legitimate problem with them. Unfortunately, what was smooth sailing and great service for over last ten years has become unbearable problem after problem, bad service, unhelpful, and just clerks without authority to fix, or make decisions. When you want to get connected to higher manager to fix, they refuse and lie to you that no one else is having problems. When you ask friends, and see boards, you finds out you are not alone and so many have the same horror stories.

It is so bad, I hate them and they now make me sick. They also cancelled my account out of retaliation for complaining, from "risk management department" like goon squad third world dictatorship like I read about over 20 other posts today complaining about accounts being cancelled.

Its so shocking and next step is filing complaint with state attorney general consumer affair department asking for investigation fidelity retaliation practices from fidelity risk management good squad.

I never saw anything like this from any company before!
Fidelity doesn't care about customers anymore, and seem to be alienating their best customers. It is so disgusting!

Fidelity Investments customer service

he reason I am reaching out to you is because I have been dealing with a simple issue with a great impact that has continued to go on for over 2 weeks already.

I have spoken with the customer service and debit card services 7 times since Feb 18th. Once on 2/18/18, 3 times on 3/3/18, 1 time on 3/6/18 and now here I am calling again on 3/7/18 and the issue is not fixed. 3/7/18 outcome they advised me they will have the back office next day air me my debit card, now I am calling on 3/9/18 and the representative is now telling me they can mail out my card until 10 days of the address change, so what is the point of next day airing my debit card and why didn't they tell me that on the 7th?

All I have requested was to update my address and have a visa debit card sent to my new address as I had some fraudulent activity on my account and every time I call the debit card service team tell me they have my old address and if I have changed it will take 48 hours.

I have been getting the same answer for two weeks already and I have spoken to 1 supervisor who assured me the issue would be fixed by today, I don't know how a simple change of address can be so hard. I have been without a debit card for tow week already an I really feel this is unacceptable.

Please excuse me if I sound rude but I am just really upset as I get paid tomorrow and I won't have access to my funds.

Fidelity Investments active trader pro

On or about February 6, 2018 I attempted to place a market order for a security in my IRA through Active Trader Pro. The site did not acknowledge that i placed the order. I then went to the website which was down and the mobile app which was also down. I could not find acknowledgment of my trade order. I then restarted active trader pro and found that not only had my market order been placed but two other market orders for the same amount had been placed as well. The most astonishing thing was that I did not have enough money in the account to even purchase the two other market orders. Fidelity's Active Trader Pro provided my account momentarily more than a quarter million dollars and placed the trades with out my knowledge or consent. I sold immediately to cover, and of course, then the fake money that had allowed the unauthorized and un-directed purchases to take place disappeared, leaving me with only a huge loss of more than $20, 000.00. When I raised the issue with the company, it accused me of dishonesty and stated that the acknowledged computer issues it had that morning did not cause the issue. I wish the company to reverse the transactions.

Good luck with that. The company is unethical. I had a similar trade that I had a huge trade and 100% profit on option contracts. I attempted to set up a market order and cancelled the order but the system listed the order as pending which meant I could not place a trade to lock in profit. 55 minutes late, Fidelity figured out the problem in their system and I was lucky to walk away with a small loss. Trying to resolve the issue with them is a total waste of time. They are fraudsters.

Fidelity Investments unacceptable service - delay in rolling of funds

I am doing a rollin to my employee sponsored plan. I spoke to Andrew Seitz on Feb 7, 2018. He stated my two checks from JP Morgan were there and had been since Feb 1, 2018. NO ONE contacted me to let me know an additional rollin form was needed. Andrew stated to fill out the form and email it back and call him to let him know it was there and he could get the money deposited into my employee sponsored plan. I completed the form and emailed them back at 3:53 (two pages). I then called Andrew and left a voice message they had been sent and let me know if there was any other items needed. He never returned my call. I called three times on Feb 8, 2018. I only left one message asking if there was any issues and if I needed to complete anything else. Andrew NEVER bothered to return my calls. I called on Feb 9, 2018 and spoke with Mike McNamara who told me Fidelity didn't recieve the signature page, which is untrue. The email sent back to WorkplaceGuidance.[protected]@fidelity.com at 3:53 pm CST n Feb 8, 2018 contained two scanned images of the required documents. Then Mike stated my checks had been sent out to me on the 8th or morning of the 9th along with a new form to fill out, which is the same form I emailed back to Fidelity. I am beyond angry at this point. He did try to calm me down. That didn't work well. I asked for Andrew's supervisors name and was not provided with it, I asked how to file a compliant and was told he (Mike) would recommend an investigation on my behalf. Never once was I allowed to speak to anyone or given a process of how to file a complaint. I found the compliant site by doing research on my own, which only added more anger to my already unsatisfactory issue.

So now I have a three week additional process time to deal with which could have all been avoided if ANYONE from your company had bothered to send an email or call on the 1st of the month, or if Andrew had bothered to follow up with me, especially as I called him 4 times.

Fidelity Investments fidelity visa rewards card

Received an offer in the mail concerning The Fidelity Rewards Credit Card. They were offering 2% cash back plus an offer of $100 if you charged $500 in the first three months. I have charged over $1000 and called today (2/3/2018) to inquire about how to receive my $100 bonus. The representative stated he did not see that offer with my card and further stated that if I had the original offer I should mail it in to an address in Fargo, N.D. Well I do not have the original offer and do not recall having to mail something in. I applied for card on line and received it in late November, my first charge being on 11/22/2017. My complaint is that they are not honoring their offer and are or have been deceptive about how to receive it. I just want them to honor their original offer. Fidelity Investments cash withdraw/ cash disappeared

In Dec 7th I've requested through Fidelity/Net Benefits website to withdraw USD 5514 to my account in Brazil. However, this money has disapeared and after inumerous calls to Fidelity and to the local bank, I finally received the money on Jan 24th. The amount received was UDS 5374 instead of USD 5504 (discounting Fidelity's tax of USD10 ). How can a company disappear with my money for more than 40 days and then get part of my money?

Fidelity Investments 401k

Fidelity allowed the unauthorized withdrawal of approximately $550 from my 401 K account this week by my previous employer. Moreover they nor the previous employer did NOT inform me of this transaction. When I called to inquire I received the run around. Agents leaving the phone for 15 or 20 minutes to "read notes" before I had to eventually hang up. Finally I was told by an agent the previous employer overpaid me as a result of continuing their contributions after my employment terminated. This was clearly not the case as I read every payroll stub during my employment and contributions to Fidelity ceased after my last check. I want my money refunded in full plus a penalty for my inconvenience until a full accounting audit is complete. I want a manager familiar with my case to contact me.

Fidelity Investments - fidelity investments, horrible dishonest customer services

A terrible experience all around. I moved my investments (over 700 grand) in June 2017 and started out optimistic with some promises of good service made. I was assigned a financial consultant who left abruptly -- but no one informed me about this. I had great trouble reaching this office (making 20 phone calls over 4 days with wait times up to 2 hours) to...

Fidelity Investments disrespectful employee

Fidelity Investments,
Three weeks ago, I opened an account with you. Today, November 14th, I tried logging in, only to find that it had been locked. Okay, no big deal, so I call and I get to talk to some friendly representatives, which I do appreciate, however, the woman I was talking to told me that the reason they locked my account was because my "voice was too high pitched to be a man". Not only did you lock my account for that period of time, but you also assumed that, because I have a high voice, that I am a female and in no way, a male. I understand that you probably did not mean this in a negative way, however, what I had experienced today was highly inappropriate, as well as disrespectful and insulting. I am not here looking for something in return for what happened, only to make sure this does not happen again to myself, or anyone else. There was not an apology for the misunderstanding, or anything like that. I would appreciate it if the matter was addressed with employees to prevent future complaints from your customers.
Thank you,
Dylan Landanger

Fidelity Investments reversing my money!

On 10-8-17, xfinity prepaid removed a total of $60 from my cash management account, in 4 payments of $15. They were only suppose to receive $15, so I contacted Fidelity on Monday morning and the rep told me it was nothing that could be done until the payment post or I could call xfinity and have the money reversed back to my card. I contacted xfinity 4 days straight and spoke to different departments and every rep told me that no money was received to the account that I made payments on. I called Fidelity back, they filed a dispute and I received my $60 back. A few days later I received a letter from someone name Natisha McKinney, stating to explain what happened to cause the dispute and provide any visual proof, which I didn't have at the time, by 10-26-17 or the money would be removed back from my account. I emailed her because I couldn't get her on the phone and she never responded, but on 10-26-17, the $60 was removed from my account again, but by Fidelity or BNY Mellon. I contacted Fidelity again about this and had to do an appeal; I faxed in the account statement from xfinity, which showed no payment was made in October and the email I sent Natisha McKinney, which she never responded. I was told the appeal would take 10 days. Here it is 11 days later and I'm getting the run around about my money; no updates were made from the dispute team and I can't contact them because only Fidelity reps can email them and request they call. I asked what happens if they don't call? She told me call again the next day. Now, I'm pissed and will be closing this account as soon as I get my money back! I want my money back Fidelity! I attached the letter sent to Natisha McKinney, which is time stamped and the xfinity account page that shows no payment went to that account on [protected].

Fidelity Investments resolving disputes

Although I have provided clear evidence (enclosures) of a computer processing error wherein a transaction fee was improperly applied, Fidelity does not empower their representative to review and make a decision. Rather they force an otherwise fact situation to be process thru the time consuming and costly arbitration process. For non-action traders, Vanguard has far superior customer service.

Fidelity Investments customer no service

Like other s I read here I have been with Fidelity since the 1980's. Have always felt safe and have recommended them in the past.
What they are trying to do now is run the company without people. Very soon it will be a robo trader . I can't even get the local (Albuquerque) to answer the phone. When I was transferred to Fla. office they made it clear that the Mgr would be way to busy to talk to me so I could drive 60 mi to see if he was in. Ended up calling Denver
Power of attorney for my wife with Alzheimer's forms were sent incomplete then wrong ones now another set threatening to close my JOINT account and others if they did not promptly get yet another set of forms. How's this Fidelity--- I will close ALL 5 of my accounts if that suits you better. When I complain the poor folks working for them sound sad to see what will become of their jobs. Bail out now ! or as a customer go elsewhere. I paid 8% commission when Peter Lynch ran Magellan and laughed all the way to the bank . Could this be the same company/ same "model" I only have mid 6 figures what does it take to get real service. We are just the sap that keep the fat cats -fat. I'd rather go to Vegas where they actually let you know the real odds of your "bet" .
The company will not resolve my issue or yours . Look at the instructions in the Complaint Details . I'm sure going to comply with all of them.
