Fidelity Investments unacceptable service - delay in rolling of funds

I am doing a rollin to my employee sponsored plan. I spoke to Andrew Seitz on Feb 7, 2018. He stated my two checks from JP Morgan were there and had been since Feb 1, 2018. NO ONE contacted me to let me know an additional rollin form was needed. Andrew stated to fill out the form and email it back and call him to let him know it was there and he could get the money deposited into my employee sponsored plan. I completed the form and emailed them back at 3:53 (two pages). I then called Andrew and left a voice message they had been sent and let me know if there was any other items needed. He never returned my call. I called three times on Feb 8, 2018. I only left one message asking if there was any issues and if I needed to complete anything else. Andrew NEVER bothered to return my calls. I called on Feb 9, 2018 and spoke with Mike McNamara who told me Fidelity didn't recieve the signature page, which is untrue. The email sent back to WorkplaceGuidance.[protected]@fidelity.com at 3:53 pm CST n Feb 8, 2018 contained two scanned images of the required documents. Then Mike stated my checks had been sent out to me on the 8th or morning of the 9th along with a new form to fill out, which is the same form I emailed back to Fidelity. I am beyond angry at this point. He did try to calm me down. That didn't work well. I asked for Andrew's supervisors name and was not provided with it, I asked how to file a compliant and was told he (Mike) would recommend an investigation on my behalf. Never once was I allowed to speak to anyone or given a process of how to file a complaint. I found the compliant site by doing research on my own, which only added more anger to my already unsatisfactory issue.

So now I have a three week additional process time to deal with which could have all been avoided if ANYONE from your company had bothered to send an email or call on the 1st of the month, or if Andrew had bothered to follow up with me, especially as I called him 4 times.

Fidelity Investments fidelity visa rewards card

Received an offer in the mail concerning The Fidelity Rewards Credit Card. They were offering 2% cash back plus an offer of $100 if you charged $500 in the first three months. I have charged over $1000 and called today (2/3/2018) to inquire about how to receive my $100 bonus. The representative stated he did not see that offer with my card and further stated that if I had the original offer I should mail it in to an address in Fargo, N.D. Well I do not have the original offer and do not recall having to mail something in. I applied for card on line and received it in late November, my first charge being on 11/22/2017. My complaint is that they are not honoring their offer and are or have been deceptive about how to receive it. I just want them to honor their original offer. Fidelity Investments cash withdraw/ cash disappeared

In Dec 7th I've requested through Fidelity/Net Benefits website to withdraw USD 5514 to my account in Brazil. However, this money has disapeared and after inumerous calls to Fidelity and to the local bank, I finally received the money on Jan 24th. The amount received was UDS 5374 instead of USD 5504 (discounting Fidelity's tax of USD10 ). How can a company disappear with my money for more than 40 days and then get part of my money?

Fidelity Investments 401k

Fidelity allowed the unauthorized withdrawal of approximately $550 from my 401 K account this week by my previous employer. Moreover they nor the previous employer did NOT inform me of this transaction. When I called to inquire I received the run around. Agents leaving the phone for 15 or 20 minutes to "read notes" before I had to eventually hang up. Finally I was told by an agent the previous employer overpaid me as a result of continuing their contributions after my employment terminated. This was clearly not the case as I read every payroll stub during my employment and contributions to Fidelity ceased after my last check. I want my money refunded in full plus a penalty for my inconvenience until a full accounting audit is complete. I want a manager familiar with my case to contact me.

A terrible experience all around. I moved my investments (over 700 grand) in June 2017 and started out optimistic with some promises of good service made. I was assigned a financial consultant who left abruptly -- but no one informed me about this. I had great trouble reaching this office (making 20 phone calls over 4 days with wait times up to 2 hours) to...

Fidelity Investments disrespectful employee

Fidelity Investments,
Three weeks ago, I opened an account with you. Today, November 14th, I tried logging in, only to find that it had been locked. Okay, no big deal, so I call and I get to talk to some friendly representatives, which I do appreciate, however, the woman I was talking to told me that the reason they locked my account was because my "voice was too high pitched to be a man". Not only did you lock my account for that period of time, but you also assumed that, because I have a high voice, that I am a female and in no way, a male. I understand that you probably did not mean this in a negative way, however, what I had experienced today was highly inappropriate, as well as disrespectful and insulting. I am not here looking for something in return for what happened, only to make sure this does not happen again to myself, or anyone else. There was not an apology for the misunderstanding, or anything like that. I would appreciate it if the matter was addressed with employees to prevent future complaints from your customers.
Thank you,
Dylan Landanger

Fidelity Investments reversing my money!

On 10-8-17, xfinity prepaid removed a total of $60 from my cash management account, in 4 payments of $15. They were only suppose to receive $15, so I contacted Fidelity on Monday morning and the rep told me it was nothing that could be done until the payment post or I could call xfinity and have the money reversed back to my card. I contacted xfinity 4 days straight and spoke to different departments and every rep told me that no money was received to the account that I made payments on. I called Fidelity back, they filed a dispute and I received my $60 back. A few days later I received a letter from someone name Natisha McKinney, stating to explain what happened to cause the dispute and provide any visual proof, which I didn't have at the time, by 10-26-17 or the money would be removed back from my account. I emailed her because I couldn't get her on the phone and she never responded, but on 10-26-17, the $60 was removed from my account again, but by Fidelity or BNY Mellon. I contacted Fidelity again about this and had to do an appeal; I faxed in the account statement from xfinity, which showed no payment was made in October and the email I sent Natisha McKinney, which she never responded. I was told the appeal would take 10 days. Here it is 11 days later and I'm getting the run around about my money; no updates were made from the dispute team and I can't contact them because only Fidelity reps can email them and request they call. I asked what happens if they don't call? She told me call again the next day. Now, I'm pissed and will be closing this account as soon as I get my money back! I want my money back Fidelity! I attached the letter sent to Natisha McKinney, which is time stamped and the xfinity account page that shows no payment went to that account on [protected].

Fidelity Investments resolving disputes

Although I have provided clear evidence (enclosures) of a computer processing error wherein a transaction fee was improperly applied, Fidelity does not empower their representative to review and make a decision. Rather they force an otherwise fact situation to be process thru the time consuming and costly arbitration process. For non-action traders, Vanguard has far superior customer service.

Fidelity Investments customer no service

Like other s I read here I have been with Fidelity since the 1980's. Have always felt safe and have recommended them in the past.
What they are trying to do now is run the company without people. Very soon it will be a robo trader . I can't even get the local (Albuquerque) to answer the phone. When I was transferred to Fla. office they made it clear that the Mgr would be way to busy to talk to me so I could drive 60 mi to see if he was in. Ended up calling Denver
Power of attorney for my wife with Alzheimer's forms were sent incomplete then wrong ones now another set threatening to close my JOINT account and others if they did not promptly get yet another set of forms. How's this Fidelity--- I will close ALL 5 of my accounts if that suits you better. When I complain the poor folks working for them sound sad to see what will become of their jobs. Bail out now ! or as a customer go elsewhere. I paid 8% commission when Peter Lynch ran Magellan and laughed all the way to the bank . Could this be the same company/ same "model" I only have mid 6 figures what does it take to get real service. We are just the sap that keep the fat cats -fat. I'd rather go to Vegas where they actually let you know the real odds of your "bet" .
The company will not resolve my issue or yours . Look at the instructions in the Complaint Details . I'm sure going to comply with all of them.

Fidelity Investments ira / death benefits

Fidelity, after two months of calling them, and asking for how to proceed with filing for benefits after the passing of my mother, has now informed me that they are opening an account in my name, and when that is complete, I might then receive a letter about how to access my account.
I thought only Wells Fargo (illegally) opened accounts without the knowledge of those they opened them for, maybe they are associated.

I ***NEVER*** authorized them to open an account in my name.
They do not have my signature on anything authorizing the opening of an account.

The representative insists that this is the only "Legal" way to process a claim (opening an unwanted, undesired account). I explained to her how I went through the exact same thing with a Prudential IRA, except with Prudential, I called them, they sent me a form, I filled it out authorizing them to deduct and pay federal and state taxes, and had the balance deposited to MY PERSONAL account (not Prudential) within a week.

They have promised over and over to send me information in the mail, or call back. They have not called back, and have not sent me anything in the mail. This has been going on since the third week in July.

The only contact I have had FROM Fidelity investments was an email to a "Customer Satisfaction Survey" that is designed from the start to only allow people who are inclined to leave a positive review to leave one.

Fidelity - 100% Fraudulent.

Fidelity Investments employee retirement plan

Peter Windsheimer
[protected]@comcast.net

I accidentally enrolled into Fidelity's Employee Retirement Plan by just wanting to browse and could not cancel enrollment to the plan. Now I am told that the money they have taken is locked. I feel like this money was stolen from me and I can't get it back until I turn 59. I cannot afford such luxuries like a retirement plan and they have hijacked my money.

Fidelity Investments pension

I have a pe sion thru Northrop Grumman. I was made aware that fidelity was now taking over their pension plans. I called to start the process for receiving my pension payments at the end of August. The first representative I spoke to confirmed my pension but said I needed to call back September 2nd or after to get everything set up for my first payment in December. When I called back, the next representative now says that they don't have me as qualifying for my pension. They could see the correspondence from Northrop Grumman with the amounts but now they say I'm not eligible. They then said the first rep would call me back. Today I received a letter from Fidelity that I need to get a copy of my detailed earnings report from social security or they will consider me not vested! It will cost me $115 to get this report from social security to then mail to them to get benefits that I'm due!

Fidelity Investments fidelity

My wife got a phone call on Tuesday 9-6- 2017 That a technician was going to come and install our Internet and modem the next day between one and five in the afternoon . This morning my wife woke up to two men in our home unannounced from Fidelity knocking on her bedroom door while she is home alone with our one-year-old daughter . I am very unpleased with the invasion of privacy from these two technicians. They were not there at their schedule appointment time . They were there for 4 amd a half hours early without acknowledging that to me or my wife .they told us they were going to be there between One in five not eight in the morning . Not to add they somehow got into our apartment and got access to come inside without our knowing . I would really like to be assured that this will not happen again . Thank you, Hunter marks

Fidelity Investments hurricane harvey horrible customer service/please pull call

On August 28, 2017 in the midst of a hurricane I called Fidelity customer service requesting a quicker method to receive my anticipated funds for my tuition assistance because it was mandatory evacuation for the county that I lived in because we were about to be hit by a hurricane. The first representative I spoke with was Kathy Brass, she stated after speaking with the supervisor there was nothing they could help me with. I am in school & I requested funds for tuition reimbursement in which I was approved. However, I live in Brazoria County, Texas & we were told to evacuate for a hurricane that was headed our way, well I contacted Fidelity asking if there was any way possible to alternate the paper check for an ach to my checking account because there was no possible way I would get the paper check coming by mail because the postal office is closed & the location on my PO Box is completely flooded, in other words o can't get that check, please help. I was transferred to a resolution manager by the name of Karen Medzorian. Right now at this moment I am writing a complaint to Fidelity when I should be preparing for a hurricane. There are no words to describe the rudeness, nonchalant, no compassion & mocking that I had to deal with talking to Karen Medzorian. It's one thing that this company could not assist me with something so small & simple, but for a customer to have to deal with such horrible customer service. Please see the attached pictures confirming the mail service is down & it will be days before the check will be received. For a company that issues monies daily I'm more than sure there were other options for me. Please follow up with me regarding this complaint. This is not a company I want to continue doing business with I will speak with my employer for other options. Thank you. Latisha Guillory [protected].

Fidelity Investments unauthorized cash transfer from higher yield funds to low ones

We've been with fidelity for over 30 years with majority of our money in Money Market funds. all my children have account with fidelity now. We used to have very busy working schedule and never looked at the accounts carefully until July 19, 2017.

Fidelity representatives never bring up higher yield Money Market funds to our attention so we were basically getting near zero yield. I recently discovered higher yield funds for high cash balance accounts so I started transfer money from Lower ones to the higher one.

But the cash I put in higher yield funds has always been pushed back to the lower yield funds. I thought I might have done something wrong so I moved the money again. But the cash was REDEMPT back to the low yield funds the next day. After a few times of tug-of-war I called Fidelity. They told me some algorithm implemented long time ago does that automatically for accounts like ours.

As a result, I didn't get any interest for the large cash in the Money Market funds for the month of July and part of August when I began moving cash to higher yield funds. I asked Fidelity if they could make up the dividend/interest I lost during the period the money being pushed back and forth, they said "NO".

I think Fidelity is effectively stealing money from our accounts by doing this. But there is no place to escalate the problem.

Fidelity Investments hardship withdrawal

My name is Veronica Henriquez and I had requested a hardship withdrawal from Fidelity investement for funeral services. I have called from July 24 and then July 31 to do it. I was told I needed to send the invoices which I did. Then that the paperwork needed to be notarized, then translated into English, then that the currency needed to be dollars which it is. Every day a different request and did ALL. Last Friday 8/4 I was told that I needed just to translate the receipt and that was it. I called Monday 8/7 and I was told they had everything they needed and that it was processing and that probably by Thursday I could have the funds in my checking account. Today 8/8 I called to verify everything went ok I was told that there has been a mistake and that can not give me MY MONEY $1000 because of time on the receipt, because of this and that. I have been giving wrong information for a week. I don't believe it. I would like to escalate this and have it resolved. I need the funds in my account by THursday as I am counting with this money. I paid for the translation last week. Wrong information for over a week with 8 different representatives I don't think so.

Fidelity Investments customer service nightmare

About a month ago I signed up for a monthly membership with a carwash vendor. 3 weeks after signing up for the service the vendor was already billing me again. I spoke with the vendor and since we could not come to an agreement I requested my money back and a cancellation of that membership. They flat out refused. I therefore called the bank and asked them to cancel that transaction. The person I spoke with give me a whole song and dance about the fact that the bank will conduct a thorough investigation of the whole matter, including that someone will contact me to get my side of the story and return my money to me. However a week or 2 later I received a letter from the bank written by someone named Mary Ann Merkel notifying me that: "since the merchant is providing the service for which I am being billed, we are unable to assist you with this dispute. By giving them your account number, you have authorized them to bill your account for any money owed. At this point, the 30 day time frame has past[sic] and the money is due to the merchant." That was insult number 1. That statement if I did not know any better, I would think it came straight from the vendor, as though the bank was representing the vendor's interest in this dispute.
I called the bank as soon as I received this letter. It was then 3:30PM Friday the 14th. The recording informed me that this person literally maintains banker's hours and leaves at 2 PM. By then 2 weeks have gone and to think that I have refrained from using that carwash service anticipating that my money would be returned to me. Now I needed somebody to tell me whether I would ever see that money again, otherwise I needed to hurry up and use that service. I therefore called customer service. I spoke with a gentleman who kept telling me that he could not do anything to help me, and would not even allowed me to put in a second request for my money back. I asked them to speak to his supervisor. He left and came back after awhile to inform me that they were too busy for a supervisor to come to the phone and talk to me. That was insult # 2.
I waited until Monday to call the author of that letter. I have already called her more than 4 times since 8 am that her voicemail says is her normal schedule and I cannot talk to her. And that was insult # 3. That's my quota on how much insult I would accept from anyone I entrust my money to.
