FIA CSNA Hard Inquiry

After reviewing my Experian Credit reporting I discovered that I have a hard credit inquiry on my record. I DID NOT make any such inquiry! I believe that some one got personal information and committed FRAUD. I am asking that this be removed ASAP.

Although this is some basic info in this letter to dispute an "inquiry", you may want to be more specific and state what company and the date that the inquiry was obtained on. You also want to add the supporting documents that you think you were a victim of Identity Theft such as an Identity Theft Affidavit (google search this or go to: FTC.gov/IdentityTheft to download theirs) and also send your IDs: Driver's License, Social security card or top copy of a tax return; and 2 utility/cable/phone bills or a bank statement to show your current address. These are required by each of the 3 credit bureaus (Experian, Trans Union and Equifax) in order to work on your dispute request. I hope this helps your readers. Any questions, contact us at: info@mycreditsolutions.com for more info. 29 years of experience using State/Federal Laws and protecting consumers rights!

I have the same feeling as WallyS. Why can FIA CSNA make unauthorized inquiries for credit information? Is there anyway to stop it?

They also did 3 credit inquires in one month without my authorization. I also had a fraud alert on my account with all 3 bureaus. I had a credit card with BOA but it was canceled long ago. Even though they have the right to do a soft check on their customers, there is really no reason for them to check on me since my account had been closed. They just like to do it anyway because they can.

on 03/09/10 FIA CSNA did an unauthorized credit inquiry on Experian. I dont know why they were doing this. I didnt have any business with them. POssibly this could be realted to my Allstate home and auto insurance estimation. It looks like Allstate agent passed my info to FIA CSNA since this happened on the same day.

I was speaking with a Direct TV rep trying to get a price quote to compare with the current cable carrier I was using. They told me they would need to run my credit before they could help me. I told them no and hung up the phone. As I am refinancing my house, my bank told me that I needed to write a letter explaining each hard credit pull that was done on my account in the last 30 days. One was from Direct TV. I was shocked and upset. I said no and they did it anyway. I have no trust In Direct TV. I will never do business with them. When I called them to complain, they said since I did not have a Direct TV account with them, they could not help me and would not help me get this situation resolved. Wow!

I have gotten a credit report that states I have an outstanding balance with FIA CSNA of $4974.00 I do not or have ever had an outstanding balance with them or any other credit card company. How can I get this taken off my credit score?

This is in fact a terrible company. Argumentative, nearly fraudulent. I would never ever accept a credit card from these people again. Bank of America bought them, then being caught in the middle they never sent statements via mail or email for an old bill I didn't even know existed. I called them. I have had perfect credit for 20 years. With one phone call over their mistake, they reduced my credit line from $47, 000 to $10, 000. I have reported them to my congressman, and to the Bloomberg financial network.

FIA CSNA Unauthorized Hard Credit Pull

FIA CSNA did an unauthorized "hard" pull on my credit on 09/16/08. If they are associated with MBNA or B of A, they could have easily done a soft pull and spared my credit report the inquiry damage!

My credit report is full of monthly ( 8 months) FIA CSNA requests. I want this removed. I had a freeze on my report but it got past this. WHO ARE THEY? At 80 years old, I have no interest in getting any kind of credit.

I found the same on my credit history on 11/22/08 FIA CSNA was there and had run a credit inquiry on me. I would like to know how to contact this FIA so I can give them a word or two. I understand they are affiliated with MBNA a household finance company and mortgage loan affiliates. I never request a credit inquiry from them or any mortgage affiliate being unemployed for more than 8 months.

From my personal experience so far regarding my credit profile, I earlier didn't know how about it was and when I knew I had foreclosures, later payments and even over dues, I felt really bad because then it was late and the result of my bad credit affected my credit score which was about 379 and 401 to get my loan approved I needed 700 and above, I sort for help from big credit repair companies, but they couldn't help me get my score where I wanted to be in the short period I need to get a loan to keep a roof over my child's head, till a lender introduced me to a repair man who has access to this credit companies who got my credit up to 714 and 757 and also educated me about how to maintain my credit and maintain a really good score, HACKWIZatPROTONMAILdotCOM is where ill refer anyone that needs a deadline fix on there credit .you can thank me later.

FIA CNSA (B of A)did a hard check on our credit even though 1. We had not applied for any new credit. 2. We had paid down all credit card balances by 70% over the last six months. 3. We have no late payments on our record 4. Had not been notified that they would do a credit check.
In spite of the above facts, they used the credit check as an excuse to lower credit limits on all of our B of A cards. This has the dual effect of lowering our credit score due to additional credit inquiries and increasing the ratio of credit used/credit line. It is obviously a pre-emptive attempt to make it more difficult to switch to other credit cards from the B of A cards to get a lower interest rate.
It could also be revenge for re-financing our house with a different lender, again to get a better rate than B of A would offer.
I will pay off the B of A cards and never again use them for any type of banking.

I would view ibsness or the fica credit card the worse card you can get. I had my credit card with another company for 10 years and fica bought the company . i always paid my bills on the 10th of the month the first thing they did was to change the due date. They then increased our credit limit and as soon as it got up to almost the max they closed our account because they said they checked our credit and we were having a problem with another company. I have never had a any late payments but I had started to complain about the increase in interest rates. I didn't know a company could raise your rate if you were having a problem with another compnay. paythea

on 1/12/2010 this company made a hard credit check against my file when I asked to have access to an already established business credit line. They re-evaluated my status and lowered my limit to 9% of it's previous total and increased my rate. When I got the credit line my score was 720 (8 years ago) my credit score (according to myfico) is now 780 and I've had a 42% decrease in debt since 8 years ago along with a gross increase of 54% in annual salary.

Bank of America is treating their good customers like crap and pulling resources out from them. We are their stable revenue stream that allows them to make the profit they do yet they don't seem to want us around.

Just happened to me as well. I did not authorize a hard pull or any pull on my credit. Of course no address came up or phone number on the report, so I can't contact them without doing a bunch of homework.

They did a hard pull on me on 09/16/08! To add insult to injury, I have accounts with both of the merged companies, which means that they could have simply done a soft pull and not dinged my credit at all!
