Despite having seen complaints on this site, I fell for the radio commercials that Steven Feldman was running in the Los Angeles Market. I spoke with Chris Johnson, and I even asked him to address the complaints. He did so to some satisfaction. Well today Mr. Feldman fired me! I have been asking for some time for proof that an authorization to represent was sent on my behalf. This is something I was promised after I gave my first payment of $2000.00. Today, I informed Mr. Feldman directly that I would be filing a complaint with the bar. To avoid this, he sent me an electronic trail of "all they had done for me". The bank still contacts me daily saying they have received no contact from the lawyer.
All I have been asking for over the past month was reassurance that I was being represennted by a lawyer. I gave all my documentation to one person. She suddenly disappeared. I provided it to another, and they disappeared, and they never acknowledge that they have the documents. In fact, in his electronic trail, Mr. Feldman has notes to protect himself that they cannot get the documents from me - even though they got them multiple times. So today, after I have given them a total of $3495.00, he personally dismissed me as a client. But he was sure to add that he will be keeping fees for the work they didn't do.
I can't believe that this afternoon I made a call, and I'm getting much better service from the government. Call HUD. They will help you.
I should also mention that you do not interact with Feldman unless you complain loudly. Then he will intervene and pretend that he is upset with his staff.
I'm not sure what the Bar Association will do with my complaint, but there was serious misrepresentation going on. There scheme seems to be to make things so confusing that you can't figure out where their misdeeds lie. I have full confidence that these people will be punished for some wrong doing, whether it be a government agency or an eventual class action suit.
Oh, and their response to previous complaints on this board is that obviously the person is a disgruntled employee or someone as they would not be hiding behind the anonymity of this board. I am not anonymous and will happily answer any/all questions that come my way.
The saddest part is that Mr, Feldman has such a big ego is that he believes he is a superhero now. He indicated that he will not help me, but move on to saving peoples homes. It's pretty easy to come in and use an already structured government program to make yourself look like a super hero.
Such a diplomatic question. You really find postive comments on here about Steven Feldman? Okay, since you like positive, then here: STeven Feldman is a very good marketer. He has been very good at fronting a loan modification company with a legal license. He has poorly trained staff (not their fault) with high turnover. Most people leave his company because they feel a lack of ethics. In short, he is selling stock in his law license at 3500.00 a pop across the entire nation through various loan modification fronts. Both FEDMOD, who he goes off against on the internet and 1800refi are connected to him or the FLC Mailing address. The bottom line is that he is 1 lawyer with way too many clients and no legal staff to support him. Even if he started out with good intentions, he's gotten caught up in bringing checks and wire transfers into the agency. He forgot the service side of being a lawyer. But he's more than unethical, he's taken money from people and they are on the street. The loophole he is getting away with this under is not that broad and he has stepped way over the line. He will be caught soon. So, is that someone you want to hand your money too? That's what you'll be doing, giving it blindly with no expectations to get it back. Lastly, he is on the internet more than we are. He reads this board and he post himself. Don't assume everything you read here that's positive is true. Verify with real people.
It never ceases to amaze me the unscrupulous people out there who are preying on the innocent. FIND a real way to make money. Many have done it. You dont't have to take advantage of poor people to make money. So, it appears this Hohn Hashaby is one of our latest scammers ...

I am working with a number of organizations gathering information on the Feldman Law Center as well as other Law Firms abusing their licenses as well as other laws. The name Jim Wand has come up before as someone who dealt with unhappy clients and has therefore been turned over to the authorities. In the event the name is ficticious, it will still lead back to a person and any misrepresentation that he may have made to you would be pursued to the fullest extent of the law. However, absolutely DO NOT go away. Other people need you to work towards shutting Feldman down as they will not realize for months to come that their modifications are not coming, or they could have done better without Feldman. This effort requires that we all continue to check in with the agencies where we filed complaints. Even they respond to only two things: 1.)their Political success and 2.) their material success. You must remind them that it is their mandate to stop this fraud. Of the 7 agencies I have complained to, not one has shown the level of interest you would expect for such rampant fraud against Americans. We need to put on the pressure.
Hey! Good news yesterday. People complaining has finally paid off. He will pay for his sins - in THIS lifetime. Be SURE to file your complaint with the bar and several othe agencies. Keep him busy so he has no time to spend the stolen money. Here's the good news:

I am also a victim from the Feldman law center. I wired them $3995.00 and after 7 months I never got the loan mod they promise or an offer from my bank, I close my case. The contract stated that 1400 was non refundable which is okay for me but I get an email that my refund is only 1350.00 after giving them almost 4000 of doing nothing to help my loan mod. Now its been 1 month and i am still waiting for my refund. And I have spoken to Jim Wand and his just full of ###, no response to my email and call.

I have paid these numbskull 4000 bucks and to this date both of my mortgage companies have said they HANE NOT been notified by these punks! Well now i am going to fix this myself with the banks and after im done i will come after the Feldman group!

New name - which is probably fake-- Jim Wand - After I left my message that I am coming after my money - FEDERAL OFFENSE to wire transfer from Florida bank to his, I get a magical phone call from " Jim Wand" telling me they are sending me a check that was going out tomorrow. That was two weeks ago. No check. So, whoever is watching this site for Feldman --- I'm NOT going away.

Steve Feldman is not the marketer. Greg Feldman his cousin is the person behind the whole operation. Steve is nothing more than a puppet.
I hired Legal Debt Solutions law offices of John Habashy to do my loan modification. I signed with them 2 months ago and there staff is very professional with continuous updates. Please tell me what happened here. Feldman sounds legit on the phone and I have read several positive compliments about them. Who was your loan with and why was he not successful in getting you a modification? Please let me know as I am about to enter into an agreement with him.
Feldman Law Center needs to be shut down. I can't believe that his practices to continue to take money for his fraudulent actions are allowed to continue. I had to hire another attorney after paying Feldman $4000. My new attorney is advising me to turn him into the FBI as wire transfers from my bank to his, makes it a federal offence. My attorney demanded my money back, and they still give the same run around, as they have for 4 months. I am going to do everything in my power to take him down, and I will not give up till I make it happen. He has been informed of such. What he is doing is inexcusable. SHAME ON YOU STEVEN FELDMAN !
