We had this company install new windows and siding recently, they had both crews come on the same day, , the window crew had there job done that same day and di a decent job a few things wrong, the siding crew i believe had no idea of what they were doing . it took them all day to do the eves on the house . so the next day they started on one side of the house, , none of the siding was straight around the windows nothing matched i tried to tell them but they didnt speak english . i called feldco and had some one come out the next day, i fired the crew that did that job it took 2 days to get a new crew out . . i fought 5 months with them to get everything fixed the way it should . i will never recomend them to any one i could go on with a bunch more things but dont have room.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
i had several windows from feldco installed a few years ago. the salesman can out and assured me that the windows, installation, materials, and workmanship came with a life time warranty from any defects or anything going wrong with them at no cost. the contract i signed also said the same thing. last week the capping on one of the windows begin to separate. i called feldco windows and was told by their staff that there would be a $150.00 fee just for the repairman to come out, and than on top of that $175.00 an hour for the repair. i said what about this lifetime repair warranty at no cost? i was told that was just a sales pitch. i could not believe it. do not buy from feldco windows.

I BELEVE I WAS LUCKY TO GET CONTACTED BY THE RIGHT PERSON HE WAS VERY RESPECFULL EDUCATED AND CONCERN TO MY PROBLEM HE WAS VERY PROFFESIONAL TO ALL OF YOU THA ARE HAVING ISSUES BE PATIENT AND PROFFESIONAL NOW I UNDERSTAND THAT SOME CASES ARE NOT JUST FELCO BUT PEOPLE WHO PROVIDE THEM MATERIALS AND CONTRACTORS. I have the problem with feldco bough new windows from them all trash with only two years after installed, called many time for windows issues water problem coming in to my house. Still no body return my calls. PLEASE LETS TINK FOR A COLLECT LEGAL STEP IS A LOT OF CUSTOMERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEMS LIKE US AND THIS COMPANY CONTINUES EACH DAY DOING THE SAME .
They are absolutely the worst company out their.I had windows installed by them on two separate times and let me tell you the windows are bad.I called to tell them that their windows were drafty and yeah they wanted to charge me a trip fee for their crappy windows.I refused to pay it.So they sent out this guy to look at the windows and all he can tell me is he doesn't know why they are drafty, in fact he reverses the problem to say my walls must not be insulated so that is why I have drafty windows.I could go on for a long time about this company but why waste my energy on this mickey mouse company.To me the way they are going they wont be around to long with a reputation like that.
Feldco's practice of charging a "trip fee" to send out a technician to check their own product is ridiculous. I will never use them again, nor recommend them.
I used Feldco in December to replace 25 windows with their "top of the line" product which cost me upwards of $15K. About a month after the install my husband noticed the half-moon window (not replaced in the project) in my master suite sitting room was cracked. I immediately called Feldco and they told me they are not responsible for it and that it must have been cracked previously. Well, that's funny since three of Feldo's personnel looked at the window at three different times over the span of 6 weeks (from sale to re-measure to install) and NOT ONE of them ever reported it to me. They refuse to replace it. I WOULD NOT recommend to anyone to use Feldco. Apparantly Feldco doesn't care about bad publicity once they have their money!
I should have read the warranty better. After 5 years, feldco charges a trip fee $69 to come out and $89/hr to service their so called lifetime warranty on their shabby windows. Buyer beware.
Feldco sucks! There windows are comparable to Home Depot, or Menard's poor quality all around. The use block and tackle balances no lift rail on top sash, and there warranty is a joke they actually charge you to use your warranty! The salesman I seen was pushy and talked crap about better companies with better product! I would put plastic over my windows before putting a Sophia window in my house. I called WINDOW WORLD there window was way better quality with a better warranty and IT WAS LESS EXPENSIVE!
I had thirteen Windows install by Felcdo. Not one of my windows will close and lock . After paying for someone to come out to check them, I was told to hold the top shash up with one hand and pull down on the bottom shash. At no time of buying these windows was I told this is how the windows lock..As of today, my windows will not lock. Don't buy from Feldco.
