We don't know much about how FedEx handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. FedEx package delivery

I received a package on Oct 3 that required a signature. I didn't get to the door so the driver took it back with them. I called and was told I could go to the warehouse and pick it up after 3pm the same day and the business was open until 5pm. I went to their facility and was told it wasn't there. After asking questions etc. I have found out that the drivers are contractors and take the trucks home at night. And being a Saturday and they don't home deliver on Monday. My package is sitting in a box truck at the drivers home during their 2 days off! Not in the FedEx secure fenced in facility, but in your neighbor's driveway in the back of a box truck.

FedEx delivery guys dont know how to use the doorbell

I have been having problems with the FedEx delivery people simply leaving a missed delivery slip on the door and never taking the time to ring the bell, knock on the door or anything. I have a dog that I walk several times a day, and it never fails that I will take him out and there is the tag on the door! I am a work at home employee, so I am always home during the day. The latest debacle is that I got one delivery and the second one was just a slip left on the door. this is such a frustrating thing and I have talked with FedEx numerous times and they could care less. I think if they were required to refund the fee for using their 'service', maybe they would train the stupid delivery guys better!

FedEx lies/ bad customer service

FedEx Express is the Worst . I was having a replacement Cell Phone Delivered per their tracking it said it was going to be delivered on 9/9/15. Which happen to be the day we were leaving out of the state for 4 days. My husband called and told the customer service this and they were attempting to get a hold of the driver to see what time he would be by or if my husband could meet him to pick up the box before we left to the airport. They said they would send a message to the drivers scanner but to be on the safe side we put a note on the door at eye level saying not to leave the package if no one was home. After we got off our flight I tracked the package again it . Per the tracking on 9/9/15 at 4:49PM delivery was not made because no one was home . another tracking on 9/9/15 at 4:49PM package was left at front door. Since it said that I called my friend that lived down the street and asked her to pick it up . When she got there she said there was not package but there was a door tag on the door. When we got home on Sunday I looked at the door tag left ending in 7703 and it said that the package was at their location and that I could go pick it up after 5:00 pm. I went to the FedEx on Monday 9/14/15 to pick up the package as it said on the doortag. I spoke to a lady and gave her the door tag and she said it says it was delivered on 9/9/15. I explained everything that had happen up to that point and she went back to look for it . She came back and said it was not were it was suppose to be and it may have be with the driver or recycled trough the belt again, but she went to go look in one more spot came back and nothing . She told me if it did not get delivered by 7:00pm on Monday to call the 1800# on the doortag and have my box traced. I forgot to call that same night so I called the next day which was 9/15/15. They traced it and the women I spoke to said that she would have it delivered after 5:00pm on Tuesday 9/15/15. I also had a note on the door that said that they could leave the package even if no one was home. My Husband got home from work at 4:30pm on 9/15/15 and nothing was delivered nor did the FedEx driver come by the house. Today 9/16/15 I called again and spoke to some one in the tracing dept and she said that the package was delivered on 9/9/15 and I explained everything to her. She put me on hold and told me that it was attempted to be delivered on 9/9/15, 9/10/15 and 9/11/15 and that when I went to pick it up on 9/14/15 that I did not have an ID with me so that they were not able to release the package to me. We only had door tags for 9/9/15 and 9/10/15 and that it was not delivered on 9/15/15 like I was told yesterday . She transferred me to Shaniqua at the Fuqua location in Houston, Texas which is the "Supervisor" for that location. I asked her why the package was not delivered on 9/15/15 like I was told and she said that it was attempted but no on was home . Which is a lie because my husband was home at 4:30 and even if they tried before that there was a note on the door and no door tag was left . Shaniqua said that the driver felt it was unsafe to leave the package so it was not left per my note on the door . UNSAFE! I live in housing community were you can leave your car unlocked if you wanted to and I have had packages left at my door by FEDEX and UPS before. Then I asked her So why when I went on Monday 9/14/15 to pick up my package it was no where to be found. She said she did not know who I spoke to and I described the lady to her and she just said well I don't know but its here. You can come pick it up today . She said MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR ME SHANIQUA ! in a condescending voice . I told her I would be by after 6:00 pm and I will make sure I ask for her . Shaniqua was very RUDE . IF she is the supervisor FEDEX really needs to fire her . The way she spoke to me is not how a customer should be spoken to.

FedEx rip off, non-delivery, fraudulent overcharges and unauthorized extra charges, weight fraud, complete ignorance etc.

Fedex, today a greedy, unreasonable, unfair, fraudulent, hypocrite corporation with no self-respect. Below is a long and multi-dated experience with FEDEX corporation, which is potentially very troubling trend with most corporations today.

Yesterday I called (and spoke in person to the delivery guy as well) Rangel Expresso to schedule a FEDEX pick up. No one showed up the entire day and had NO CLASS to call me and warn me that I can leave my home as they won't be picking up the envelope today. No, they kept me prisoner in my own house for the entire day and nothing. Rescheduled for tomorrow without apologies. This is not the first time they screw up. I hope FEDEX fires Rangel Expresso as their partners and hires a decent company who treats customer's time with respect.

Ontem eu liguei (e falou pessoalmente com o cara de entrega também) Rangel Expresso de marcar uma FEDEX pegar. Ninguém mostrou-se o dia inteiro e não tinha CLASS para me chamar e me avisar que eu posso deixar a minha casa, pois não vai ser pegar o envelope hoje. Não, eles me manteve prisioneira em minha própria casa para o dia inteiro e nada. Remarcada para amanhã, sem desculpas. Esta não é a primeira vez que eles estragar. Espero FEDEX dispara Rangel Expresso como seus parceiros e contrata uma empresa decente que trata o tempo do cliente com respeito.

FedEx delivery exception

I pay for 2 day delivery with FEDEX. Why is it EVERY time I get a delivery exception and they can't deliver in the 2 day time frame? They say the address is wrong when it is always right. They then tell when they can only relay the information but can't fix the problem. It then takes the package 4 days to finally get to my home. This lights me on FIRE!

2 day package means buissness days. fedex does not deliver sat/sunday [some times they do deliver sat]. if the sender has the wrong address and gives them the wrong address then this error could happen. if they do have the right one when they print the package label then it is a discrepency with the printer or someone read the label wrong.

FedEx failed delivery more than once

FedEx home delivery service is horrible! Last week, they not only delivered to the wrong house, it was in the wrong city! This week, they "claim" to have attempted delivery (when the driver called me to ensure I'd be home to sign for the package, he stated it was not even on his truck yet), stated the "business was closed" and then returned the package back to the shipper 14 minutes after I got off the phone with the driver (who said he would deliver today - too late!). When I called customer service, all they did was repeat the same information I found on the package tracking web site and told me there was nothing they could do. Even calling the local delivery station did not get an answer. This "home delivery" service is contracted out to local thugs who do God knows what during their off hours (my daughter is afraid of them when they pull into the drive way in their private vehicles with pants sagging and music thumping so loud it wakes the neighborhood) and can't seem to read a map. I wonder...are they actually vetted with background checks before FedEx gives them my home address and sends them to my house? I wonder if they're scoping it out to come back later and rob the place? I tried contacting FedEx customer service...their response..."sorry". ALWAYS SHIP UPS!

Is it possible there was some confusion with your address during your second issue? I mean the first issue you describe seems to be caused by that (them delivering to the wrong city).

FedEx receipt of order

I am getting fed up with your company. I am disabled and i am either sitting in the front room not even 4 feet from the door or i am in my bedroom in my wheelchair. I have called several times about my deliveries and the person on the phone acts like i am lying - like i am the one that is wrong. Well, i have a nurse with me every day and she can give her statement. The man or boy that delivers is very sly! he actually binds down under my front window and slides the box to the front door. Well when he did that the other day, we could not get out of the door. The box was wedged in and my nurse had to go around the outside and move it before i could. If she was not here, i would have been stuck. Things need to get better.

FedEx horrible service, never again

I placed an order online with Walmart because I am unable to drive due to a disability. I received a notice from Fed ex to expect my package wed. July 24, 2015. When the driver came I was outside watering my plants. I went to the front door and noticed he had left me a package that clearly was not mine. The item was a piece of furniture and the intended recepient was not my name nor my address. I was going to call Fed Ex to tell them they sent me wrong item. Within 15 minutes the driver was back at the door explaining he dropped off wrong package. No problem...I gave to him and asked where mine was. He said they changed the date to the next day. I received an email following day from fed ex stating my package was damaged in transit and to expect a replacement on that coming Saturday. I had a previous appointment which I had to cancel because it was raining and I did not want the package out on porch and wet. Again Fed ex did not deliver. My now I am furious. Monday morning I receive a notice from Fed ex that my package was delivered. I never received it. They had sent to Arizona. I asked for a refund. They told me I would have to contact the retailer about their mistake before I received a refund. What? I called the retailer who stated they needed paperwork from Fed ex. Now going on 2 weeks...No products...out of my monies. You better believe I will be repeating this story all over the internet. Get it together FED EX

FedEx waste of time!

FedEx Malaysia only know how to waste time and money with their incompetent staff and system. I tracked my package on their website and it stated that it is sent back to the Kota Damansara Branch and to double confirm I called the customer service to help me track it. The agent called Siti told me that the package is still in the office and asked me if I want to pick it myself. I said yes and so she say she will call the branch to get ready my package. I went there and was told by Ain (ID:5019226) that the package is already on its way to my house. I asked the reason for information discrepancy and she said "I don't know" and started ignoring me. I asked her "aren't you in charge here?" She said she really don't know why is the package was out and say that the delivery man has picked it up at 11am. FYI, I called at 1.44pm and it's still "in the office" status! I end up have to rush back to wait for my package. I enquire the delivery man on the reason my package is out and not hold in the office as stated in the website tracker. All he can tell me is he took the package out and unable to scan it due to network issue thus unable to update the status. I ask why is the PIC in the office didn't update? He told me delievery guys will take the package, scan and go. Why is FedEx staff so terrible in communicating with each other? And has such incompetent PIC? This incompetency led me to become an unsatisfied customer that wasted my time and money to go about the solution!

FedEx rude fedex delivery. bad customer service

This has already happened to me twice from the same courier - FedEx. You miss receiving the delivery because of course, you're at work, and then they call or text you. You request that they deliver at a certain day or time to ensure that someone is in the house. But once they deliver on the agreed date, they are very impatient and couldn't wait for you to open your gate/door and they just leave. Today, the delivery man even said that they have to leave right away because they have many deliveries. Is my mail not a delivery?
I've noticed that most of those who work in FedEx are disrespectful, rude and impatient. You can't expect them to go the extra mile or have a better customer service.

FedEx replacement credit cards compromised

I had the misfortune of having my recently issued credit card information stolen and a fraudulent charge stopped by fraud guard. Needless to say I had to have my cards cancelled and new ones sent FedEx to Japan where I live. I received the FedEx envelop opened with a piece of tape saying opened for customs inspections by FedEx. This would be all well and good if the cards would have still been in their sealed envelope that they were in when dispatched from the card company. However when they came to me not only was the envelope for the credit cards opened it was missing all together. I contacted the representative for FedEx in Japan after calling the card company who stated that I have to have these new cards cancelled. The FedEx representative spoke very poor English and I had to wait until a supervisor could call me back. Flash forward 2 hours and a supervisor calls. In that time I had already called the credit card company and was informed that the card was compromised and I would have to be sent a second set of replacement cards. The FedEx representative stated that they "HAVE TO " open all business documents and the contents inside. I asked how they intended to ensure the confidential credit information was confidential beings they opened and threw away the envelope that cards should have come in. No good response other than "OH SO VERY SORRY", and " NO ONE WOULD TAKE CARD INFORMATION", nice try but the credit card company said if the envelope it open then the cards must be cancelled. FedEx what a joke keep up the good work.

FedEx lost $98 package, never offered claim

Fedex or Fedex[un]smartpost "lost" a $98 package coming from Bloomington, IN to Southern California when delivery tracking mysteriously froze after I commented to them how inefficient their progress was; stopping overnight at a dozen locations between. The package was to be transferred to USPS and went missing for over seven days (never was found). Neither USPS or Fedex made and effort to communicate with me until I persistently called them over days. They had no record of these calls or contacted me back within their "48 hours" as posted on their websites. I will be filing a civil lawsuit for my loss and time and trouble, and report their handling of this to state and federal agencies who govern their operations, since they could not deal with the claim process appropriately.

FedEx deliveries

I constantly have problems with the employees not wanting to bring up my packages. They call me ahead of time to see if I'm home and when I say I am they start with can you come down because I cannot bring up your packages either they are too heavy or they are double parked and don't want a ticket. This is the majority of the time. So basically I pay for the shipping and have to pay other people to bring my stuff up due to my illnesses. Please let me know what can be done about this extremely unprofessional service?

FedEx won't deliver/lies about delivery

Since more and more online retailers are using Fedex, I am finding it to be more hassle than it is worth to order anything, I have started to call and ask who vendors ship thru. What a great scam, offer Amazon, and other vendors nice low rates for a service they don't provide, except occasionally, when they feel like it. Over and over I have had packages dumped in snowbanks at my neighbors down the road, required a 3 hour drive to the NH office for signatures, refused for reasons that don't pertain to my location, on and on. I have severely curtailed my online purchases, because if they ship only thru Fedex, I won't get what i ordered without weeks of hassle; they also tell you that they are returning the products, and don't. I wonder if Fedex has a sideline business reselling all the stuff they are in effect, stealing from us. There are maybe 2 good drivers, the rest must be hanging out all day, returning with all the stuff they didn't want to drive to the assigned destination at the end of the day, knowing Fedex will not look into it, or even provide a WORKING web alternative to receiving/finding the products WE PAID FOR! I think we need to drive this point home to retailers, that if they want to continue with the great business opportunities that the internet provides, they need to insist that their shippers actually ship. Fedex could care less, is laughing all the way to the bank. We need to all insist that vendors provide, even at xtra cost, more than just one shipper. The customer knows who will actually ship to you what you paid for, which can vary by area, we should be able to receive what we pay for. Insist that all online shippers boycott Fedex or at least provide a choice.

FedEx Having been billed by this two for my shipment in honolulu

I sent a FedEx small package to my brother in the Philiippines on Jan. 10, 2015 at 11.15 a.m. and this was fully paid and when received, the recipient was asked to pay also for the services. A few days later, I received a bill from FedEx Pasadena, CA asking me the same price to pay. I responded by sending the said office all of the receipts as proof of my payment. Yesterday, however, I received another bill from Memphis, Tennesse, with Invoice Number- [protected], asking me to pay the same thing. Also, North Shore Agency has sent me a Collection Agency Alert, urging me to respond. Is this a scam? Why are these agencies asking me to pay what I paid already? And their offices were not the ones responsible for my shipment. Although I haven't talked yet with my lawyer, yet I believe this is damaging me morally. Please correct this. Thank you.

FedEx delay in shipment

My shipment took 4 days to go through 5 countries (7 cities), But it takes more than 7 days to be delivered from exit 16 to my home (less than 30 min by car) And guess what? I didnt get it yet !

called ur 800 number ten time, sent emails and got nothing yet.

One more thing; on 17th they wrote (incorrect address) Although I gave the sender the full address Then Gave it to them by phone before 17th ! p.s. its written at 9:04 pm and they close at 8 pm ;-)

what a ###ing Fedex agent is FEDEX SAUDIA.

FedEx delivery

Last week a package was delivered by FedEx but I was not home. It was overcast and seemed as though it would rain. The driver put the package in a plastic bag and dropped it out of sight of those passing on the street, Today (January 30, 2015) another package was delivered. There was no doubt that it would rain. The driver left the package (unprotected) in my driveway, in a pouring rain, by my side door and in full view of anyone on the street or anyone visiting my neighbors. Who would do that in this day and age? How could anyone be so devoid of common sense or did this driver miss the class?
FedEx you have some good people but weed out the ones who don't like their jobs like this driver.

FedEx poor service

On 12/29/14 Fed Ex had promised to deliver a gift through overnight delivery by 10:35 a.m. When it was an hour late, I called to find out why. I was told they would check with the courier and call me back within two hours. They never called. I called back about 1 1/2 hours later to find out what was going on. They blamed the delay on the weather--wouldn't ask the courier for an estimated time of delivery-saying they didn't want to bother him. It is now almost 2:00 p.m. and still no package. My grandson was waiting on this gift to take on a trip to the recipient but had to leave without it. We paid $40 for this overnight delivery. What a waste. I won't be using Fed Ex again.

Sent well packaged Music Amp from SF to Texas, got a call saying the Fed Ex truck burned up in Los Angeles - stopping point to Texas apparently. Oops they said. Asked for full refund of the Amp (700) and proof of fire. All I got back was the shipping cost and 100. Would have had to sue them for "theft" or incompetence either way - don't trust them for personal packages anymore. Fire, really?!~ Yeah right.

FedEx driver struck and killed my beloved pet

tracking number [protected] the driver struck and killed my beloved pet in front of my residence and my elderly room mate witness the driver then upon the nearly completed act of dragging the dog near my front yard step he dropped my pkg into the wet yard and ran to his truck, not saying any thing to my room mate who was screaming at him in response to what had happened, so i then placed a call to the local cedar hill office where the lady who answered was apologetic and then transferred me to god knows who, he didnt offer his name or title and wasnt able to tell me who the driver was nor would he send a complaint about the said driver. im extremly furious about this today. it would seem appropiate he would bring the dog back and maybe say im sorry but no ran like a dog with his tail between his legs. this is sad as what if he had struck one of the many school aged children who walk home from school, what results can be brought to him the driver about this, may i ask.in our residential area all the drivers need not be in such a rush . for the sake of our children and pets.sad to say i didnt get pictures unless u want one of the deceased dog .im calling everyone i know to alert them of this activity that happened today with this accident and see if they will start using another company that will respect our animals and children. from this day for ward i wont be using fed ex again

FedEx employment

The company has zero training ethics. the company lets the warehouse bombard their package handlers with packages.
Nevermind being trained properly.the trainers are called managers of package handlers are young and verbal with cueing trainee on how to do the job,
The company does not put valued instructions on their list of deliveries if you dont understand it you dont say anything just act like you do and go to it. A physical show and tell of the job and any request outside the average should be placed in writing for that particular truck, but they wont, they say we'll offer you a pen paper so you can take note. if a certain employee is a failure, they would rather put that employee on the least amount of work. . Fedex let's the Drivers dictate who works on loading their truck.
The trucks are most always scheduled for over load but still the so called trainer manager expects package handler to pack or re pack to make the order fit that particular truck. they gave twin cities a pay increase, recently but not all their minnesota locations.
