Favorite Agent Ultimate Website

FavoriteAgent.com does not honor its no questions asked 100% money back guarantee for its services. On Sept. 18, 2015 I subscribed to the service. On the same day, I called immediately after reviewing the final product to cancel as it was not what I was sold. I spoke to Levi Jones who told me that I would have to use the service and if it didn't work, my money would be refunded. Reluctantly, I agreed in good faith to attempt to use the system as instructed. The system relies heavily upon "borrowing" listings from other agents and using the system to generate leads on such free sites as Craig's List. Most of the agents that I approached regarding borrowing listings declined. Although one new agent did allow me to advertise one of her listings. I placed the ad, as prescribed, on CL, and facebook and got absolutely "zero" results. No phone calls, no page views, nothing. I continued to try to get the system to work, by placing ads in various media such as CL, Facebook, Postcard advertising etc. For each of these methods, I received the same results - none. On Nov. 30, 2015, I sent a request for a refund under the "no-questions asked" money back guarantee, only to be told that I didn't meet the terms and conditions and that since fb and direct mail were not recommended by the company, they didn't count. However, I found it interesting that right above the "Guarantee" section of the Licensing agreement, there is "Advertising" which states that advertising can be done in many different ways including ppc, free ads, SEO, yard signs, and print advertising and that the licensor does not endorse any particular advertising source... It seems that FavoriteAgent.com will travel down any unethical path it seems fit in order to not honor its agreement. The website and the licensing agreement often contradict one another, heck the licensing agreement even contradicts itself. Bottom line, I would like FavoriteAgent.com to honor its agreement and refund all money paid and to cancel my account, and cease all future billings. Your Desired Resolution: I would like a refund of all money paid, account canceled as originally requested and no further contact or billing.

Favorite Agent Misleading contracts

I signed up 3 years ago with Favorite Agent and they guaranteed their services were the best, and they were offering something noone else was, which is a lie in itself. All the leads I ever received were from my ads at Google, not from them. They were my leads I paid for and they lost them and did not compensate me the thousands I was out finacially. They kept losing my clients info, losing lead info, and then finally one day I go to my account and 2 years worth of work has completely vanished. Everything was gone. All my hard work and my business had vanished in thin air. You cannot copy the notes and calls documentation only name and number and email, but when you are talking hundreds of leads gone that I paid for with Google ad words in addition to my account fees .
They never offered to compensate me a dime for almost putting me out of business as I had everyone in that datatbase. I thought that was part of what I was paying for, a reliable service provider. I stayed because I was going thru a divorce and did not have the time to search for a better alternative. They do not give you what they promised when you sign up and not for the money we pay. I can get a LCM gateway anywhere for a fraction of the cost and I finally figured this out. They do not care about their customers, and only want your money. I went to them twice and told them I could not continue as funds were bad due to the real estate market in my town and the economy. They know I am a single mom struggling and they did not cancel my account, instead talking me into staying, even though I was honest as to how bad my finacnces were.
I wrote and called last week to cancel my account when a deal I was counting on fell thru to tell them I did not have the funds to pay for another month and I was cancelling before the next billing period would be charged as they do not freeze accounts or work with you. I was on a month to month at this point so I felt the contract termination terms did not apply, especially in light of the fact they did not do what they said they would, they violated their own contract. Sometimes I get my leads months after they registered. They deny all of this, but I have the proof.
Its all messed up and they expect us to just take it, but when we need help they threaten to go after all the money ( 3 months worth) to cancel. I am not on a contract for over a year now, but they said it does not matter. I tell them I can't pay, heck I can't even buy food for my child and they took the last of the money in my account and now I am overdrawn. I tried to reason with them as they have received thousands from me and never given back anything. They were cold and told me too bad basically or I could start giving them a percentage of my lead commissions. I said I have no business or funds and that is why I am forced to cancel, that I am out of business yet they want me to take food from my child to pay them. I dont want to stay with a company that treats it's hard working fellow Realtor community this way. I want out now. They are going after me for the balance owed to cancel and even though I am flat broke. What kind of monsters are these people? My advice...RUN! Run AWAY from them as fast as possible and never look back.

Awful and mis-leading; tried to cancel long before renewal date only to run into an issue that I signed up and billed card and fighting with credit card company and FavoriteAgent rep stating their billing service doesn't allow for them to reimburse (even though there's a money back guarentee). I've never heard a service dictating how a company handles their own customer service. STAY AWAY; service DOES NOT WORK and they are CROOKS!

I purchased this system for 12 months. They advertise that you will get so many quality leads per day and you can pick and choose - that's a bunch of crap. Unless you plan on spending 12 hours a day posting ads on Craigslist, Google, and other sites, you will not get leads. The quality of the few leads I received were crap. I saw this weekend that they charged my account for another year. I went online to cancel and it said I had 4 weeks left. I contacted and said, oops that was a computer glitch. You hit your one year auto renewal two days earlier so too bad. Your charged for it for another year - no reversals for any reason. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS SYSTEM!

They really mislead me in their advertising saying they cover almost all MLS's and even showing the MLS search on the website you'd be buying. Also, cancel anytime if you don't like it. I bought the website and found out that I would have to purchase my MLS access for an extra $50 per month, on top of the expensive website I just bought. I immediately contacted them and 'nope' sorry no refund. Levi was rude and said 'you can cancel anytime, but you don't get a refund. I paid for a whole year and cancelled immediately as it didn't provide what was advertised. They basically stole over $750 from me. I can't believe they can sleep at night. I'll be going to the attorney general next - false/misleading advertising. They did not respond to my BBB complaint. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

Just got there email with how they are the way to go in order to confront Zillow on taking away your exclusive leads. I agree that Zillow is sneaky that way thus I almost signed up, but i learned through experience that you better do your research before even attempting to contact anyone offering you a service. Thank God i did! i feel bad for all the people online with such horrible stories on this so called company, sounds to me more of a criminal enterprise! Did any of you whom are locked up with a contract or still getting charged try going to the BBB or your state attorney office regarding fraud? I really feel bad for the single mom that could not buy food for her kid, Just how far would someone go to steal a green buck! what happened to our great country?

Yes, I did and wish others did that have experienced what I have. We as consumers must take the time to file a complaint to prevent this from happening to others in the future. It is sad that many must suffer before someone does the right thing as I am doing now!

These guys keep charging my credit card, even after cancellation. It is a fight to get them to stop doing it and to refund the money.

And Matt Jones is hands off and Levi, the "customer service" guy is rude and uncooperative.

STAY AWAY

Wish I had seen these reviews prior to signing up with them 6 months ago. This technology is useful for me. If you're even remotely considering using this service, I would advise you to RUN AWAY, DON'T WALK AWAY from these people! I recommend checking out ListingstoLeads.com which provide you SO MUCH MORE actually USEFUL technology. This system is a scam from beginning to end! The website didn't even work, their customer service - NONE EXISTANT, their contract - WORSE THING I'VE SEEN IN MY LIFE! Everybody that wrote a review is DEAD-ON!

Thanks for these posts about yet another company working to take all that we will give them of our hard earned commissions. I used to sugar coat what I shared with my clients and made this job look easy to them. After several got in, and back out, of real estate I decided to be more open with all that was going on, and sometimes wrong, behind the scenes. I have more business than ever, I work hard for my clients and they all say "I wouldn't have your job!" I work almost exclusively with past clients, their referrals, and agent to agent referrals and I had my best year ever last year. Why on earth I even thought about FavoriteAgent enough to look this far is beyond me, but so glad I found these reviews!

Although their services might be useful to some, it is redundant for others. I signed up because I thought I would get a certain level of services which I did not have. It was a Friday night. I realized on Saturday that it was using tools I already have. I could not contact anyone over the weekend, except instructions saying to attend a coaching call on Monday so the features will be made clearer. I attended, and it only clarified that I did not need his tools. I called immediately and emailed, and when I talked to a representative, they said they cannot cancel my service. I paid 6 months upfront to save money, and they refused to refund even a portion of it. 3 days later! I did not even use their technology yet! I pointed out that there is a monthly payment, and they should at least refund 5 months worth of services. But they refused. My advise: be very cautious before signing up for any of their services, because although some agents might need it, if you realize you don't, you just kissed your money good bye. Horrible customer service and no refund policy for unused services! Beware!

Favorite Agent and the Jone's have just scammed me for a number of months by taking money via my credit card after I had requested a cancellation. They have denied this fact, even though they can check and see that I have never logged into there site from the cancelled period onward. They are scammers for sure in my books.

I have to agree with the above comment. I was a client of theirs from [protected]. The Jones' are great to work with until they have your money and a contract. Anytime, you need them, they are not available.
I was working with them when they lost "ALL" of my contacts as well. They were not remorseful for it. They felt as if it was a natural occurrence and we just needed to move on. No compensation was offered. Luckily, I converted the database to a .csv file regularly and recovered most of the information.
At one point, I held two technology licenses. As the market steadily declined, I asked to cancel my "newer" one. They said they couldn't do it, so I continued on. After 2 years of that contract, I called to cancel. Levi Jones says to me, "Why didn't you cancel the older one last year when you wanted to cancel one?" I know, stupid of me not to think of that, but why didn't you suggest that last year!
At one point, in 2009, I was going to stop doing real estate full time and asked that they suspend my contract for a year, when I would get back into it. I moved from AZ to CA. After weeks of arguing with them, they agreed, unbelievably. After a year of no real estate lead generation, I was ready to dive back in. As promised, I started paying them and using the technology.
With a bitter taste still in my mouth from their previous arrogant stances, I called to cancel after my contract was up. Levi said, "Sorry, you need to give us 90 days notice!" Another mistake for not calling 90 days ago, but isn't my contract up?! I seriously was done fighting with these arrogant ### and let them take money out of my account for 3 more months.
I am writing this today, because 3 and half months later, they took more money out of my account!

I get responses to my e-mails and/or phone calls days later, if at all. They are able to shut off your account immediately if you miss a payment, but if they charge you too much or beyond your contract, it takes over a week for them to get in touch with "billing".
This company is a pain to work with. The technology is good, but I would recommend staying away!
