In a nutshell, they have you buy an overpriced appliance so you can get a 55% lifetime discount on already marked way up food. Ipurchased a barbecue grill from them and found out that a 1, 800 grill was actually costing me with finance charges around 5, 700.00 . What a savings! You could never get your money back because the food was double and triple regular store bought groceries. When I talked to one of the pompace owners of the company he told me you were paying for their service. What service? I put together my own shopping list as if I bought it from a high end grocery store. Say my list was 700 .00(very high). Their similar list of groceries was 1, 700.00. 55% off that price is approximately 765.00. Get my point ? What a sham. Stay away from this company!

    THE SERICE IS GREAT WE HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR YEARS AND THE FOOD IS BETTER THAN ANYTHING IN ANY MARKET!!! MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY HAVE IT AND THEY LOVE THE DISCOUNT AND THE FOOD! THE PACKAGING IS FANTASTIC AND THEY LOAD MY FREEZER!!! WE DONT WASTE ANY FOOD!!! ITS THE BEST!!! LIKE I SAID U R CRAZY!!!

    Looks to me like the response written in all caps is a response from a salesman of Family First Foods or a representative of from there. If it weren't it would just state the benefits of the service, not attack the author of the review. The salesman was in our home for close to three hours singing the praises of this and they had me hook, line, and sinker. Upon delivery of the freezer and food, I realized I was flat out lied to about the quantity of food I was receiving. I must now figure out how to get this freezer and food back to them. Do NOT DO THIS. I am calling a lawyer and the BBB. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!

    I agree that the response was probably written by a salesman or someone who JUST started with the program. My first delivery was very good as well. Good cuts of meat, lot's of free stuff, anything we didn't like or didn't order was indeed replaced. However the deliveries changed both in content as well as quality with each delivery. I don't think that we got more than four deliveries. I am still in debt to these people. In addition, no matter how many times or different ways I asked "how much am I actually paying for that spaghetti sauce?" they couldn't answer the question. I believe the person who mentioned how already overpriced this food is. I am also looking into the BBB and my options.

    Your experience sound a lot like mine. I have another friend that I "referred" to this service (at the point, pre-delivery when I was still bamboozled). Well I contacted him the day his appt was set and warned him that I had received my delivery and was not at all happy and discouraged them from signing anything. He got my message and despite my warning, he and his wife fell for the sneaky and deceptive sales tactics and lies.8 weeks later they realized they were overtaking for food and what's worse is that they paid $1200 for a glorified set of tupperware. That's right, 1200 bucks!!! He is out of it now but it cost him over 5 grand!! I am still paying for the overpriced freezer. I highly recommend that you contact the BBB about Family First Foods.     Not only was I more than disappointed in the food delivery service, "quality" and quantity for the money. I bought the high end grill that cost over $5K that has now fallen apart and isn't working. Can't get these replacement parts at your local homedepot. Called Carico, was told since I don't get food delivery my warranty is void. After an incredulous response about how is it that the quality of an item, supposedly a high quality item likened to the Viking line of grills is affected by food delivery service??? Got a call back from FFF, REP Chris said he would send me the parts. Left a 2nd message 3 wks later and tried 2 days after that and now the local phone, 800 number and website doesn't work. emailed Carico rep who is going to find out what's going on. I shouldn't hold my breath!
